The Speed of Time.

So much to write about from this Shabbat and Lech Lecha, and we’ll get to that over the next few days, but I just want to clarify what might be happening with time as we reach the event horizon of the Tree-of-Life that we’ve been discussing: nothing. Nothing? Well not exactly nothing. It’s just that nothing will change with time is the greater sense of the universe; what will change is our perspective of it.  What’s actually going to happen is that the veils of klippot will be removed layer by layer at an exponential rate, and each time one does the amount of the space of time that we see and thus experience will be expanded.  In other words, in the space of our current month, enough time may transpire to advance 10 years worth of activity, yet our calendar will still show only 4.2 weeks have passed. Thus great advances in all areas of science, technology, communication, medicine and spirituality will be possible. The downside is that Man may very well chalk this up to his own process and let it feed his ego; rather than envision it as G-d’s will and an opportunity and time of true enlightenment. Also, great advances in weaponry are also possible and probably, Man being Man.  Remember what happened at the time of the Tower of Babel. In conclusion, the universe isn’t changing, we will be.  As the veils of physical limitations are removed, we’ll become more in tune with the universe. Some of us will adapt; others will not be able to.  The idea is to grow with the enlightenment,...

The World is Catching On.

This is from an Argentinian Astrologer who sees a major major shift beginning to occur in the world and sees is becoming concrete in 2018. I personally don’t know too much about astrology, but I do know that Rav Ashlag and the tzaddikim of blessed memory predicted 2018 (5778) would be the year the Tree-of-life reality opens up for us (in other words the geula, final redemption and manifestation of the Moshiach (Messiah). He makes some bold predictions, but as we said in our last post, with the approaching advent of the Tree-of-life, time will stretch out, be pulled toward infinity, like a ship approaching a black hole, and all the advanced he predicts will indeed be possible. We present it here with google translation and in its original Spanish text. ARIES URANUS: THE RADICAL CHANGES By Emilio Garcia, Argentine astrologer On May 29, the planet Uranus in the constellation of Pisces left to enter Aries, which has a great deal of meaning and encouragement to mankind. Uranus is a planet of air passing to radiate the energy of Aries, Fire Sign. It is already known that air power fuels and fire, so we expect large unexpected changes in levels, the intellect (Uranus) is strongly influenced towards the spirit (Fire of Aries) and changes will be designed primarily to Earth in all our human activities. A new era “mind – inner fire” has begun and we should not accept it and hosted it with all our heart and mind, to resonate with the energy that comes from outside. Changes (Uranus), large (Aries) have already begun to take shape. Some...

The Missing 222 Years; What is Time?

Someone recently asked me why if some of the sages said Moshiach would come in the 6th millennium, did the tzaddkim say 5778; how are we to account for the missing 222 years.  The concept of time is a difficult one to grasp. Sure, we can all watch the clock and measure out 24 hours in a day, but that’s a man-made measuring strategy, not a spiritual or universal one.  A year is just the measure of time that the Earth journeys around the sun.  So what’s a year in another Solar system? And how is either of those measuring strategies relevant to a Martian? Einstein brought us space-time, in which time could be bent and stretched like an elastic sheet with a heavy rock placed on it.  Meanwhile, Rav Ashlag explained the kabbalistic approach to time in that spiritual time is measured purely in distance, and distance is measured in similarity of form. Confusing? What makes time so hard to grasp is that we view it from a very limited perspective, one concretely anchored in the world of Malchut (of matter), and we NEED it to be fixed in order to make sense of our world. But imagine for a second, if you could let go of all that and allow time to become elastic for you. Imagine the ability to stretch or shrink time at will, to make a single hour long enough to accomplish everything you need to do in a day, a week, or even a year; imagine how far ahead of the game you would be then. It would be like being in two,...

So You Want to See the Tree-of-Life!

There is only one time honored way to see the Tree-of-Life; it’s the one followed by the Kabbalists for generations.  To understand this, you must first realize that we live in the world matter, which is controlled by the natural laws of physics and thus  limited by nature.  The world of the Tree-of-life is pure energy, and whether you are a physicist and believe the the 10 dimensions of string theory culminate in a 3-dimensional energy bundle called matter, or are a Kabbalist and believe that the 10 dimensions (sefirot) of the Tree-of-Life culminate in an energy bundle called Malchut which forms the world of matter, the outcome is the same: a world of limitation influenced and controlled by the invisible energy that surrounds it. While you ponder which world you’d rather be able to traverse and explore, think of it this way: one super-microscopically small bit of sub-atomic matter is, relatively speaking, surrounded by a near infinite amount of space filled by energy before you reach another minute sub-atomic spec of matter and so on.  And once you look inside those specs you see another endless sea of space and energy before finding an even smaller spec of  sub-atomic matter, and at every level all those sub-atomic, then atomic, then molecular specs are all surrounded by energy, life giving energy. One more thing to ponder is that  all those minute specs of matter are isolated and super distant from one another, relying on the benevolence of the energy fields to communicate and interact with one another. Another way to look at it is that our beautiful world (and...

Creation by Design; Renewed Every year.

As we complete the 22 days of the holidays and reestablish the relationship between the Zeir Anpin and Malchut (Heaven and Earth so to speak) for another year, we read once again the story of Creation. Before even finishing the holiday, just after we finish the 7th hakifot (encircling) with the lulov and doing the 7 hakifot with the Torah, both associated with Zeir Anpin, we read the first 32 verses of Creation, the verses that establish the 7 days of Creation.  This is of design, not convenience. The 32 verses of Creation, as well established by Chazal, connect to the 32 Paths of Wisdom, the Tree-of-Life. And as we explained in a previous post, similarly the ordinal value of the word Lulov, which is 32, does as well, and moreover, they both connect to the Alter at the center of the Third Temple, which measures 32 x 32 cubits. What was not previously explained was that the 6 verses in which each of the first 6 days were completed in, thus establishing the 6 sefirot (dimensions) of Zeir Anpin, are the verses #5, 8, 13, 19, 23, and 31 of the Torah’s first chapter. The numbers 5 + 8 +13 + 19+ 23 + 31 = 99 and in the 1st verse of the 2nd chapter G-d completed Creating Heavean and Earth, plus 99 + 1 = 100, a level of perfection kabbalistically speaking, but also the square of 10 (sefirot) and the complete value of the word Lulov, (68 + 32 = 100), and also the measure of the inner courtyard surrounding the Alter at the center...

The Energy at the Dawn of Creation.

The Arizal explains that the Zohar tells us that the Torah existed for 2000 years before Creation, and that it existed in a form in which all the 79,976 letters would appear to be jumbled to us today.  In other words, what is written in the Torah and was frozen in time once the letter were rearranged to form the narrative we know today, was formerly written in a potential state, whereby the events of our Biblical past could have played out differently.  Adam didn’t have to sin. Nevertheless, he did, and we have to struggled and fight our way back to the Tree-of-Life reality that existed prior to that initial sin.  As part of that process (the easy part) we study the secret coding of the Torah (Sod Torah), which R’ Abulafia of blessed memory calls the deepest level of Torah understanding (that we’re capable of at any rate). But what are we really doing when we examine the gematria and the permutations of the letters and words of the Torah? Yes, we are revealing the underlying technology that the Torah was designed with, and occasionally by doing so, yes, we are revealing hidden blessings, prayers, and specific gateways. And yes, with each revelation into the magnificence of the Torah we bring more awe of the Torah and G-d into our lives and the world and thus bring ourselves and others closer to G-d ( a thoroughly worthy cause unto itself). But what are we really doing when we rearrange the letters according to ancients codes that seem to exist before time? At times, it feels like all...
