I was studying the Arizal’s explanations on the 3rd of the 10 plagues last night, Lice (Kinim) of numerical value 120, when it occurred to me that the 50 letters in the 3 iterations of the spelled-out Name of G0d, Adonai, associated with the malchut level total 2608, which is 120 more than 2488, the year Moses died at the age of 120 and when the Israelites entered the Promised Land.
But Adonai is the pronounceable aspect of G-d’s Name, YHVH, which is associated with Zeir Anpin. Together Adonai (EDNY) and YHVH form a powerful unification YEHDVNHY equivalent to 91, the value of Amen, and we know from the Arizal that we should meditate on this unification whenever we say Amen in order to complete the connection of the 7 sefirot (dimensions) between Malchut and Zeir Anpin This helps elevate the blessing that was recited, and in so doing we procure for ourselves all the same benefits as the person who made the blessing.  Some chazal say we get even more benefit than the person reciting the blessing because we plugged it into the outlet.  And in these difficult days, the very least we should be doing is helping one another by saying Amen and making the unification (YEHDVNHY) in our minds.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve witnessed easy easy missed opportunities for people to help one another and help themselves by simply saying amen. It starts with the little things, with consciousness and compassion, and spreads to reveal Moshiach and a new reality beyond all the veils of illusion.
But this was an aside, what had really occurred to me was that when we unify the 50 letters of the 3 iterations of Adonai (EDNY) with the 42-Letters of the 3 iterations of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH) we get 2608 + 50 + 708 + 42 = 3408 and 3408 was the year the Second Temple was Built.
First of all, we should note for those that noticed it, that the 42-letters of YHVH do indeed comprise the upper Shem Mem-Bet, or upper 42-Letter Name and that when we recite the Ana B’koach and take an action to manifest what we’re meditating on the two 42-Letter Names unite on our behalf. (See The Genesis Prayer for how to use the Names/meditations properly) Furthermore, according to chazal it’s this unification of 42 + 42 = 84 that create Pad (PD), redemption of gematria value 84.
Now, as readers of The Divine Calendar know, nearly all the significant dates of the Bible and Biblical events end in the number 8 so it’s interesting that 3408 results from the unification of the two very important Names of G-d and that they both also end in 8: 2608 and 708, and that 3408 is 800 more than 2608. Moreover, if we remove the 8’s, we’re left with the numbers 26, 70, and 340. The number 26 is always representative of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH), and 340 is the value for the word Shem (Name) and 70 couldn’t be more integral to the Divine calendar.
The number 70 is more than just the 70 members of Jacob’s family who entered Egypt, or the 70 members of the Sanhedrin, and it’s more than 70 years that Adam and the Patriarchs gave to King David so that he’d live for 70 years and that the midpoint of his life in 2889 would mark the midpoint of G-d timetable from Adam to 5778, when the tzaddikim (righteous souls) have advised Mashiach (Messiah) and the geula (final redemption) will occur.
To begin to understand the simple complexity and divine beauty in G-d timetable, we need to note that when we square 5778, we get 3338… and the First Temple was destroyed in 3338 HC, and while the Second Temple was built in 3408 HC as noted above, there are 34083338, or 70 years between the destruction of the First Temple and the building of the Second Temple.  These 70 years comprise the Exile in Babylon that was ended by Ezra, The Scribe, who returned the Jews to Israel and who arranged for the Second Temple to be built. These 70 years also compare to the date 70 CE when the Second Temple was actually destroyed and to the numerical value for the word “seventy” (70), which is 422, as in the 422 years that the Second Temple stood, and moreover the date 422 BCE when the First Temple was destroyed.
Take a moment to reflect on that. There’s no mathematical slight of hand that could line up these dates or lengths of times; this is just the way history played out.  And it’s meant to create awe in us.
We need not fear G-d and suffer the 10 plagues again, not even lice,  if we can summon the awe of G-d that the Israelites had in 2448, which is 3330 or 66.6 jubilee (50-year intervals) years ago when in paragraph 42 of the Book of Names (Exodus) they sang out in praise to G-d for their deliverance from Exile.
“…and the people were in awe of God. They believed in God and in his servant Moses.”
That all it takes for us to exit the exile and enter the tree-of-life reality: To be in awe of G-d, believe in G-d (with certainty in our hearts and minds), and in his servant Moses/Moshe (Moshaich). Amen!
