Creation by Design; Renewed Every year.

As we complete the 22 days of the holidays and reestablish the relationship between the Zeir Anpin and Malchut (Heaven and Earth so to speak) for another year, we read once again the story of Creation. Before even finishing the holiday, just after we finish the 7th hakifot (encircling) with the lulov and doing the 7 hakifot with the Torah, both associated with Zeir Anpin, we read the first 32 verses of Creation, the verses that establish the 7 days of Creation.  This is of design, not convenience.

The 32 verses of Creation, as well established by Chazal, connect to the 32 Paths of Wisdom, the Tree-of-Life. And as we explained in a previous post, similarly the ordinal value of the word Lulov, which is 32, does as well, and moreover, they both connect to the Alter at the center of the Third Temple, which measures 32 x 32 cubits.

What was not previously explained was that the 6 verses in which each of the first 6 days were completed in, thus establishing the 6 sefirot (dimensions) of Zeir Anpin, are the verses #5, 8, 13, 19, 23, and 31 of the Torah’s first chapter. The numbers 5 + 8 +13 + 19+ 23 + 31 = 99 and in the 1st verse of the 2nd chapter G-d completed Creating Heavean and Earth, plus 99 + 1 = 100, a level of perfection kabbalistically speaking, but also the square of 10 (sefirot) and the complete value of the word Lulov, (68 + 32 = 100), and also the measure of the inner courtyard surrounding the Alter at the center of the Future Holy Temple, 100 x 100 cubits.

This also corresponds to the sum of the ordinal values of the first 10 letters of the Torah (BREShYT BRE E) “In the beginning was created Alef:” 2+20+1+21+10+22+2+2+1+1 = 100, once again perfection and the square of the 10 sefirot.  And it should be noted that teh composite value of the letter Alef is 32, which is why it’s associated with the Tree-of-life.

As we said, when we complete the 7th day, Malchut, firmly establishing the 7 sefirot and 7 days of Creation in the 1st verse of the 2nd chapter, we have a total value of the verses as 100 which corresponds to the 100 blowings of the shofar on Rosh Hashannah that began the Holiday process 22 days ago.

This is all by design to reestablish our connection to the Tree-of-Life EVERY year, every year through the period of the Third Temple, which according to the prophecy of the tzaddikim should happen in about 7 years from now (around 5778).

Please note that 5778 is 66.6 jubilee years from the reception of the Torah at Sinai in 2448, and we mention this because as was explained in book The Genesis Prayer the number 5913 is also derived from a beautiful equation based on the 7 days of Creation and the kabbalistic principal that energy is never lost.

Before we get into the equation please note that in the 6 days of Creation there are 66 times the letter combination for the word “sea” appears (YM) of numerical value 50, the same as the length of the jubilee year, 50 years.  According to chazal, whenever we see the combination (YM) as in Elohim (ELHYM) it represents the sefira of Binah (understanding).

And as for Elohim (ELHYM) it is found 32 times in those same verses of the 6 Days of Creation. Whether it’s the lulov, or the Torah or the Alter in the Future Holy Temple, we’re tapping into the Tree-of-Life , and drawing the light (energy) from Binah through the 6 dimensions of Zeir Anpin into the 7th, Malchut, the world of matter and limitation.

Abraham, the Patriarch, taught us in his Sefer Yetzirah several thousand years ago that 7 factorial is 7 x 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 5040, and when we apply that to 6 factorial and again for each of the 7 days of Creation and then add them together, we get (5040 + 720 + 120 + 24 + 6+ 2 + 1) = 5913 and even more significant, we know that the 10 Commandments and thus the 2nd opportunity of the Tree-of-Life reality was received on Shavuot 2448, or the exact Western date 5/9/1313 BCE (some say 5/9/1312 BCE, but it’s still 5/9/13).

Of further note is that 7 factorial and 6 factorial together total 5760 and (5 and 4 factorial) = 144 and (5 and 4 and 3 and 1 factorial = 151.  So, while 5760 is the year 2000 CE, the spiritual cleaning bath, or mikve has the numerical value of 151 (same as the higher name of G-d, Ehyeh) and it contains 40 seah each of 144 eggs, for a total volume of 5760 eggs, as prescribed by chazal.  It was based on this calculation for the mikve and divine inspiration that Rav Abraham Azulai of blessed memory, prophesied that the  Geula/Moshiach  process would begin in 5760 (2000 CE) and this period of Oy and Ashray could conceivably last for the 18 years until 5778 as fits the other prophecies, especially since the square root of 18 is 4.24, the numerical value of Moshiach Ben David.

Everything is by design.

The Journeys of our Lives

These are the journey(s) of our lives. In the Torah portion Masei, we encounter the list of the 42 journeys the Israelites took during their 40 years in the desert including exiting the exile in Egypt at Pi-Haratha to entering the Promised Land. The tzaddikim, including most notably the Baal Shem Tov, have told us that these journeys parallel the journeys each of us must undertake to return our souls to G-d in purity, and also that these mimic the journeys that we all take collectively from the moment of Creation to the geula (final redemption).

The 42 places were separated from each other by the prefixes to (Bet) and from (Mem) and also by the word journey (VYSAV). The prefixes M and B, together have the value 42 and also reference the 42-Letter Name (the Shem MB), while the word journey (VYSAV) is repeated 42 times in this section of the Book of Numbers, chapter 33. It is repeated another 17 times, the numerical value of the Hebrew word tov, meaning good, throughout the rest of the Torah, for a total of 59 times.

The word journey (VYSAV) is interestingly constructed, as it can be split into VYS of numerical value 76 and then AV also of numerical value 76, and when we multiply 76 x 76 we get 5776, plus 2 for the kolel of the two 76’s gives us 5778, the year the tzaddikim have indicated for the arrival of the Moshiach (Messiah) and the geula.

This makes sense to readers of this blog and of “The Divine Calendar” and “There’s Nothing Random in the Universe,” as we’ve already seen a preponderance of evidence for the date 5778 (2018 CE), but within the context of the 42 journeys, let’s look back to Creation, where the 42 Letter Name comes from (the first verse of the Torah and the first 42 letters of the Torah).

Before we do that we should mention that when we add the 14 times the word “will journey” without the final vav (VYSA) to the 59 times the word journeyed (VYSAV) is used, we get a total of 73 times in the Torah that the word “journey” is mentioned, which is interesting because the small gematria value of the upper 42 Letter Name is 159 and that of the lower one is 173, and the unification of the two brings about the redemption.

This is significant for several reasons: 1) 73 is the numerical value of the sefira/dimension of Chochma (wisdom); 2) The total gematria of the Torah’s first verse is 2701, which is equivalent to the sum of all the positive integers through 73; and 3) The number 9 divided by the written out small gematria of the 42 letters is equal to 73.1415777, a graphic combination of the number 73, the mathematical constant Pi (3.14159…) and the year 5777 (5778).

Thus through the 73 times the word journey is utilized in the Torah, the journey is anchored at the moment of Creation, and extended outward from there, theoretically ending in 5778, So let’s take the year 5776 derived directly from the word “journeyed (VYSAV)” and we see that when we take it back to Creation through 5776/42 we get 137.5238… with 137 being the numerical value of Kabbalah, meaning “to receive” and both 52 and 238 (Rachel) represent Malchut.

It’s all connected, as explained in “The Genesis Prayer,” 137 and 73 are both reciprocals of one another as 1/73 = .0137 and visa-versa, and the total gematria value of the torah’s first verse, 2701 is 73% of that of the 42-Letter Name, 3701.

137 is also the numerical value of the name of the angel of the Torah, Yofiel, and like all the angels represents a specific energy that we feel, yet cannot begin to grasp. Likewise, Metatron, chief of the Archangels, guardian of knowledge and the Throne of G-d, has the numerical value of 314, the same as the mathematical value of Pi (3.14159265358…). He is the key to all Creation, permeates all our existence, and yet is totally beyond our comprehension. When G-d created our world, he first set forth these specific energies as a basis for matter and life to feed off of, a dynamic scaffolding of sorts.

It’s not coincidence that physicists see the universe as 13.7 Billion years old.

Within the name Metatron (MTtTtRVN) we have the double letter tet-tet, which the Zohar explains has the numerical value 18 and thus is chai (life), but this is also the marker for the end of our cycle, for as I explained it to my children, the end of the time-out Adam was given as punishment for forsaking the tree-of-life for the momentary pleasure of the tree-of-knowledge of good and evil.

For you see, as fully explained in the book “There’s Nothing Random in the Universe,” the other primordial mathematical constant that guides life and the universe, Phi (1.61803399…), when raised to the power of 18, in other words (Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi), equals 5778.000.

And the letters that are left in his name (MRVN) add up numerically to 296, that of “the Earth (HERZ),” the final word in the Torah’s first verse, the verse which, as detailed in “The Genesis Prayer,” also equates to Pi (3.14155) through a simple gematria operation and also in a dozen other ways.

And while we know from “There’s Nothing Random in the Universe” that Pi is also intimately connected to the date 5778, we can also apply the same formula we did with Phi and see that Pi raised to the power of 18 can be divided by 666.52 squared to equal 2000, the Hebrew year 5760, which is 18 years prior to 5778 (2018 ce), and is the year that Rav Abraham Azulai of blessed memory advised the period of Oy and Ashray would begin.

These are the journeys of chai (life), our individual lives and our collective life as a people. In the Hebrew days of the week there are collectively 28 letters, connecting them to the 28 letters of the Torah’s first verse as well, and they add up to exactly 3000 in gematria, as explained in the dailyzohar.com. If we take the 7th day as “the seventh (HShBYAY)” instead of Shabbat, then the total gematria, including the kolel of 6 for the 6 preceding days, is 2701, the same as that of the Torah’s first verse. By the way, the two variations together, 2701 + 3000 + the 7 days = 5708, the year Israel became a nation, 70 years before 5778, with 70 being the expansion of the 7 days through the 10 sefirot (dimensions).

Every week is another opportunity to connect to the full energy of Creation through redemption. Every week that passes is a missed opportunity.

Every week we pass through another cycle of 7, another journey, and must ask ourselves what we learned about ourselves that brought us closer to G-d, through awe, love, or appreciation, that brought us closer to ending out time-out. In explaining it to my children when they asked about it, it was simple. You get time-out from your father when you’ve done something wrong because he loves you and wants you to learn from your mistake (with mercy), and when the time out is over, if you’ve been good, realize the error of your ways, and are in a good place, the time out is over; if not, it gets prolonged.

And to bring it full circle, the square root of 5778/(7 day cycle) = 28.730… as in the 28 letters and the sum of the 73 integers in the Torah’s first verse, from which Creation stems. But we have the cycles of our years, lives, generations and jubilee years (7 X 7 +1 years) to contend with as well. We must use them all to work on ourselves.

5778 years is a long time-out, for us anyway. Let’s make sure we’re in a good place, have realized the error of our ways and are ready to embrace G-d (Our Father) and the tree-of-life reality when it ends.

When the Israelites, left Egypt and stood at Sinai, and last had the opportunity of receiving immortality and the Tree-of-life reality through a reprieve in the time-out, the year was 2448, 66.6 jubilee years before 5778, and 42.4% of the way to 5778. 424 is the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David. There are no coincidences in G-d timetable, His actions, or His Torah. Let’s not let doubts overcome us as they did our ancestors at Sinai.

Spirituality (the realization of the tree-of-life reality) doesn’t just happen; it takes work and time, which is why G-d gave us so much of both. So let’s not find ourselves staring down at 5778, and looking back, saying, “if only He had given us more time.”
Chodesh Tov.

It’s Rosh Chodesh Av, the month controlled by the influence of the Sun, as explained by Abraham, the Patriarch, in the Sefer Yetzirah. This is the Sun, whose surface temperature is 5778 K. Let’s connect to the energy that G-d has given us, and come out of our time-out better for having had lived through it.

The YHVH and the Final Redemption

G-d’s timing can be found in His Name for He and His Name are One. His Wisdom is boundless, yet it’s there right in front of us for all to see, and always has been.

According to the Zohar Pinchas 293, “…For the Holy One, blessed be He, and His Shechinah are voice and speech of every angel, and in every voice and speech of Torah, and in every voice of prayer, and in each single precept, and in every place of His rule, among upper and lower beings. He is the life of everything. He carries everything.”

And in the Zohar Pinchas 294, the spirit of Moses, known as the Faithful Shepherd, continues, “Just as there is no speech without voice and no voice without speech, so there is no Adonai without the Yud Hei Vav Hei [YHVH]…”

Nothing exists or happens without the YHVH thus one would expect there to be much wisdom to be gleaned from it, and indeed all wisdom can be gleaned from it, but even just superficially, we can see and understand how the timing of the geula (final redemption) can readily be seen shining on it’s surface, much the way the Sun’s surface (known to the kabbalists as Zeir Anpin) burns at 5778 K, the perfect temperature to give life to the Earth.

There are 4 spelled-out aspects of the Tetragrammaton, corresponding to 4 spiritual levels:

Chochma (YVD HY VYV HY) of numerical value 72

Binah (YVD HY VEV HY) of numerical value 63

Zeir Anpin (YVD HE VEV HE) of numerical value 45

Malchut (YVD HH VV HH) of numerical value 52

And as you can see there are 9 letter Yuds in the expanded Name, with the letter Yud(Y) being the spiritual seed of the entire YHVH..

And as we’ve explained in The Genesis Prayer and in several articles already: 9/(the 42-Letter Name) = the 70 faces of the Torah + Pi (3.1415926)

9/.123049… = 73.141593

So how surprising is it that when we individually divide the 4 aspects of the YHVH by the number 9, representing the 9th sefira (dimension), that of Chochma/Wsidom, we get:

Chochma 72 72/9 = 8

Binah 63 63/9 = 7

Zeir Anpin 45 45/9 = 5

Malchut 52 52/9 = 5.778

Total: 232 25.778

It’s pretty clear that there is a message within this wisdom.

But if we take the results one step further:

Chochma 72/9 = 8 we get 8/72 = .11111…

Binah 63/9 = 7 we get 7/63 = .11111…

Zeir Anpin 45/9 = 5 we get 5/45 = .11111…

Malchut 52/9 = 5.778 we get 6/52 = .1153846153846…

Or alternatively:

80/72 = 1.11111111

70/63 = 1.11111111

50/45 = 1.11111111

60/52 = 1.153846153

The series of 1’s obviously represents unity, but while there are exactly 115.3846 jubilee years from Adam through 5769 (2009 CE), which just happens to be 9 years prior to 5778 (2018 CE), the 8th root of PI is precisely 1.15383506784 as well.

Things that make you go Hmmm!

The YHVH, 42-Letter Name, 9, Pi, and 5778; All linked together.

And speaking of that, not only does the 4th root of (72*63*45*52) = 57.078…but 5778/173 (the small gematria value of the 42-Letter Name, also known as the 173 Keys given to Moses) = 33.39 and the square root of 33.39 = 5.778

HMMM!

There is infinite wisdom in the YHVH, so what will happen in 5778?

We’ve discussed innumerable connections between Mashiach and the Divine Calendar and the number 8. Moreover, the aspect of the YHVH spelled YVD HH VV HH, of numerical value 52, represents Malchut, the final level (sefira) from which we saw 6/52 = .1153846, along with all its connections to 5778; thus the equation utilizing the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David (424) divided by Malchut, or 424/52 = 8.153846 must mean something to us as well.

The number 6 also represents Zeir Anpin. And Malchut is to Zeir Anpin as Adonai, of numerical value 65, is to the YHVH, thus the simple equation 1/153846 = 6.50000*10-6 is quite telling as well, with Malchut reflecting Adonai

As Moses said in the Zohar,“There is no Adonai without the Yud Hei Vav Hei [YHVH]…”

It all comes together in 5778; the perfect fusion of Zeir Anpin and Malchut in the Tree-of-Life reality, the full manifestation of Mashiach, and all things returning to the state of Creation through the 42-Letter Name, which, as the tzaddikim have said, is so necessary for the geula (final redemption).

Shabbat Shalom
