Tonight is the hillula of the Arizal, one of the greatest kabbalists of all time and to whom we owe most of our understanding (even if only on a limited basis) of the Tree-of-life. It is in his merit that we share today new revelations about the Tree-of-life. And as Abulafia said, nothing gets revealed without heavenly permission; everything in its time. As you’ll see now is the time. Rabbi Chaim Vital of blessed memory, the Arizal’s prized student and redactor, explained that the Tree-of-life was directly connected to the 42-Letter Name through the 10 sefirot (dimensions and 32 Paths of Wisdom that interconnect them, but it seemed in conflict with other commentary that described it was 10 sefirot and 22 linkages for a total of 32. Nevertheless, what neither he, nor anyone that we know of, has ever written about is that the 42-Letter Name also connect to the Tree-of-Life through the 42 letters in the 11 Names of the sefirot (including the all-important balancing dimension of Da’at, located between Chochma and Binah).
Now, we can’t tell you how they interact–anymore than Chaim Vital did over 400 years ago–but we do know, as the sages have told us, that it’s the understanding of the 42-Letter Name that will bring the geula (final redemption) and we can show you how the 42 letters of the 11 Names in the Tree-of-life mathematically spell out the date for the geula, the same date given to us by Rav Yehuda Halevi Ashlag, of blessed memory.
But first let’s examine what a little understanding can connect us to. First and foremost we must understand that, as explained by Abraham in his Sefer Yetzirah, the Hebrew letters are the building blocks of the universe and that how they recombine determines both the physical and spiritual (energetic) structure of the universe, so they are a lot more than squiggles on a page. Every word and name they form has significant individual meaning with far-flung consequences we can’t see nor fathom. And it’s only through the translation of gematria and simple mathematics that we get even a glimpse into that deeper meaning and purpose.
The 11 Names of the sefirot that make up the dimensional structure of our greater universe (Keter, Chochma, Binah, Da’at, Chesed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, and Malchut are spelled in Hebrew:
CTR
ChCMH
BYNH
DAT
ChSD
GBVRH
TGERT
NZCh
HVD
YSVD
MLCVT
It’s well known from the writings of the Arizal that the initials of these sefirot (without the inclusion of Da’at connect to the 5 letters of the name Israel through it’s value (541+5 = 546), and some people know that the first 4 initials of the upper sefirot (Keter, Chochma, Binah, Da’at) add up to 32, as in the 32 Pathways themselves. But what no one has written about that we know of is that there are 11 sefirot, 22 outer letters in the 11 Names, and 20 inner letters, and that the ordinal value for the letter C, T, and R, spelling Keter (CTR) are 11, 22, and 20; therefore, it’s through the spelling of these 11 Names that we can eventually connect to Keter, the crowning sefira.
And the timing for accessing that crowning level is found within the numerical value of the first and last letters of the 11 sefirot: 1985 plus 32 for the kolel of the 32 Paths equals 2017 (5778). Morever, the total value of the 42 letters in the 11 sefirot is 3342 and 3342- 11 (kolel) = 3331. And 3331 years (66.6 jubilee years) from 2448 HC, when the Israelites left Egypt and received the 10 Commandments, equals the end of the year 5778 and a new beginning, for it’s in the beginning where we found the 42-Letter Name and the Tree-of-Life.
Ezra
A similar parallel exists between the structure of the Tree-of-life and 10 plagues that preceded the last opportunity we had for achieving the Tree-of-life reality.
The 11 initials of the 10 plagues numerically equate to 541, the numerical value of Israel. The last two initials of the 11 words in the 10 plagues are M-B, as in the Shem MB, the 42-Letter Name. And with that, we’ll segue into the hidden spear in Washington DC that also points to 2018 (5778 HC) in our next article.

In the Torah portion Pinchas, we find a broken letter vav(V) in the phrase “The Covenant of Peace,” the reward given to Pinchas by G-d for selflessly stopping the plague with his spear. Last week we revealed a new, yet ancient, and very telling gematria cipher, and when applied to “The Covenant of Peace,” a date is revealed, the same date given to us by Rav Yehuda HaLevi Ashlag and the tzaddikim for the geula (final redemption).
First, we must note that the Hebrew letters are like holograms in that even a part of them contains the entire image (letter). Thus the broken vav (V), shaped like Pinchas’ spear, is numerically equal to two Vavs(V,V). That said, The Covenant of Peace,” Et Briti Shalom (ET BRYTY ShLVM) has a total new gematria value 2017 when the kolel for the 12 letters is included. The year 2017 CE is the beginning of the year 5778 HC that Rav Ashlag and others have given for the revelation of the Tree-of-life reality.
Moreover, if we only consider a singular vav in the word Peace (Shalom), in other words, if we consider it as a broken peace, the new gematria reveals the year 2010, leaving us the 8 years of the Brit (covenant) of Moshiach (the Messiah, also know as the Prince of Peace) to complete the tumultuous “birthpages of Moshiach,” as the sages and prophets have described it in 5778.
In the next few days, we’ll also reveal how a revered representation of that same spear in Washington D.C. reveals this same date, but by a different and no less telling method. And also how the 42 letters of the Tree-of-life’s 10 sefirot (dimensions) also give us the date 2017.
Shabbat Shalom

It’s funny that in the portion of Naso, we read about the sacrifices that we read during the 8 days of Chanukah and in the very next portion BeHa’alothekha we read about the Menorah in Chapter 8 of Bamidbar. Obviously these two portions must be connected somehow. Each Chanukah we read about the sacrifices from Numbers (B’midbar) 7:1-89 and 8:1-4, and while the 89 verses of chapter 7 obviously correspond to the gematria value of Chanukah (89), the 4 verses of chapter 8 correspond to the 4 periods of exile.
One simple way that these two portions are connected is in the sum of their two names. Naso has a numerical value of 351 and BeHa’alothekha has a final value of 1007, which together sum to 1358, or keter (1000) plus 358, the numerical value of Mashiach. That would be fine and dandy but of little value to us, unless we also knew that encoded into the sacrifices for Chanukah, the festival of lights designed to bring Mashiach, was the date for Moshiach’s arrival.
Before we explain about some of the deeper meanings of the laundry list of sacrifices that read about in the portion of Naso, on each of the 8 days of Chanukah and that were to be made by the 12 tribes in the Mishkan or Holy Temple, we should note the complete numerical value of the “Menorah” found in Chapter 8 in BeHa’alothekha is 359, the numerical value for Satan (or for Mashiach in Aramaic). It’s common in sourcing the essential energies that the numerical values represent that we find that the cure and the problem have the same exact value, which is why the Menorah (359) is our cure for overcoming Satan (359) in the same way Moshiach (358) is the cure for the snake (358). Energy is usually depicted as a wave so to visualize this picture a symmetrical wave along the X-Axis of a simple X-Y graph whereby the peaks reach 358 units high and the troughs 358 units low. Superimposing the energies cancels one another out.
Back to the sacrifices:1 Silver plate weighing 130 shekels (ShKL); 1 Silver bowl weighing 70 shekels; 1 Gold bowl weighting 10 shekels; 1 Young bull; 1 Ram; 1 male lamb (1 year old); 1 male goat; 2 oxen; 5 rams; 5 male goats; 5 male lambs (1 year old).
You have to admit it’s an odd group of items, but with everything in the Torah, there is always method in the madness. (130+70+10+1+1+1+1+2+5+5+5) = 231, as in the 231 Gates of Wisdom, which we know from Abraham’s Sefer Yetzirah are the number of pairs of letters that can be made from the 22 letters of the Alef-bet, which he called the 22 building blocks of the universe.
Besides helping us to cancel out the sins that our souls committed when they were joined as one within Adam during the 130 years that he was separated from Eve, the 130 shekels of silver for the plate that we sacrifice each day corresponds to Jacob’s age when he entered Egypt to begin the exile in Egypt. This itself is no coincidence as his 130 years also served to mitigate that self-same sin of Adams. 130 is also the value of Sinai, where the Israelites received the Torah 210 years later. Of course, if we add together the weight of the silver and gold (representing right and left column energies) we get (130+70+10) = 210.
By way of further explanation, the 70 shekels of silver correspond to the 70 family members with Jacob who entered Egypt. It also represents the 70 nations of the current exile and the year 70 CE when the Second Holy Temple was destroyed and the current exile began. And while the 10 shekels of gold correspond to the 10 Utterances received at Sinai and the 10 Sefirot (dimensions) of the Tree-of-life. Moreover, while the full weight of metals was 210 shekels corresponding to the 210 years of the Egyptian exile, the value of the word Shekel (ShKL) itself is 430, corresponds to the 430 years of the full first exile from the Covenant of Abraham, which began in 2018 HC and ended with the crossing of the YM Suf and the reception of the Torah at Sinai in 2448 HC.
Now, a deeper secret within this weight is that “210 shekels (ShKL)” are equivalent to a numerical value of 210 x 430 = 90,300 or 903 x 100, an 903 is the recognized sum of all the positive integers through 42 and since there is a spiritual tenet that nothing is ever lost, 903 is the full inclusive value of 42, encompassing all the energy of the integers that came before it. Going back to our depiction of energy as waves, we can picture 903 as the sum of the peaks of energy level 1, plus that of energy level 2 all the way through energy level 42.
If you recall the Chanukah reading consists of 89 plus 4, or 93 verses. It’s a possible allusion to 903; nevertheless, the word Shekel is repeated 26 times during in the 93 verses of the full reading and not only is 26 the value of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH), but the value of the word shekel (ShKL) spelled out (gematria milui) is 620, that of keter, the highest, crowning sefira (dimension). Then in the often repeated phrase amongst these verses, “Shekel B’Shekel H’Kodesh,” the word H’Kodesh (HKDSh) likewise has the gematria milui (spelled-out-value) including the kolel of 1000, which, as stated above is also representative of keter. Therefore, the phrase Shekel B’Shekel H’Kodesh can read as “the crown in the crown at the crown,” or “keter of keter of keter,” which is the highest level imaginable.
All this reiterates all the potent energy available in these connections to the YHVH and to keter of keter of keter, but how does it relate to date for the arrival of Moshaich?
To begin with, the word H’kodesh in gematria milui sofit has the numerical value of 2008, as in the recent year 2008 CE, when from a financial standpoint the world began its implosion, when the world’s stock markets declined a collective 42%. 2008 CE would be Of course, this is 10 years before the prophesied time frame of 2017-2018 CE (5778 HC), and could be accounted for with the kolel, but there is much much more that ties the sacrifices more precisely to this very specific date.
For example there are 41 combined occurrences of the 3 words in the phrase Shekel B’Shekel H’Kodesh found in the reading of the sacrifices and their average value is ((15 x 409)+(12×430)+(14×432))/3 – 3 (kolel) = 5778, as in the year 5778 HC (2018 CE).
Then there are also 6 different phrases throughout the sacrifices that have a numerical value of 5777, (representing the year 2017 CE). Of the 5845 verses in the Torah, there are only 13 incidences where the value of a phrase that occurs wholly within a single verse has the value of 5777 and one of those is verse Numbers 7:87 of the sacrifices. It is the summary verse for all the sacrifices: “…12 young bulls, 12 rams and 12 male lambs a year old, together with their grain offering. 12 male goats….”
This is significant because the geula was prophesied to most probably occur in the period 5777.78 to 5778.28 .
As for the year 5778, amongst the 93 verses of the sacrifices there are 16 occurrences of phrases (defined as a contiguous grouping or words) with the total value of 5778, the last of which is in the final verse of the sacrifices, Numbers 8:4, where we find the 22-word phrase “…the Menorah, just as The Lord Commanded Moses. This is how the menorah was made: It was made from hammered gold…had shown.”
And not coincidentally, the number 84 (or twice 42) represents Pad, redemption, the union of the upper and lower Mem-Bet (42-Letter Names) necessary for the geula.
But possibly even more telling, of the 5845 verses in the Torah, 184 phrases wholly within verses or 3.14% of the total verses, have a value of 2019, as in 2019 CE, the first year of the new era of Mashiach as prophesied by the tzaddikim. And of these 184 phrases, 35 are within the 93 verses of the sacrifices, an unfathomably large percentage. Moreover, 184 is the numerical value of Pkad, which chazal has independently connected to the coming of Mashiach and which we wrote about in a previous blog.
So of the 93 verses of the sacrifices, fully, 57 (6, 16, and 35) are either connected to the year 2017 (5777), 2018 (5778), or 2019 and another 41 times specifically to 5778 through the repeated occurrences of shekel b’shekel h’kodesh.
There’s no statistical way that this is coincidence. And if you grabbed a calculator and did the math, you saw that 57/93 = Phi (.6180…). Even more precisely, it worked out as 57/93 = .612903, or 612 (brit/covenant) and 903, and allusion to the mem-bet (42-Letter Name) as described above.
This is what connects the two portions read after Shavuot, when we’ve just received the Torah in marriage once again. It’s clear that as we can every Chanukah, 6 months earlier, we can also connect now through the subliminal connections programmed into the sacrifices to keter, to the geula and to the coming of Moshiach. Every 6 months, we get this wonderful opportunity to connect with the Tree-of-life reality, and at the end of 66.6 jubilee years in 5778, we will get the ultimate opportunity to connect to it permanently.
But it is not some G-d given right. It is an opportunity we’ll have to earn.
We’ll have to make sacrifices.
The 4 verses in Chapter 8 of Bmidbar (BMDBR, which incidentally permutes to (DBR MB, say the 42) corresponds to the 4 exiles. And at the end of the 4th exile, we must make sacrifices. Each of the 4 types of animals of the sacrifices had a specific purpose to help the 4 types of man. But the gold and silver had other significance too: to open up the 231 Gates of Wisdom for us.
The complete value (standard plus ordinal) of silver, representing gevura/judgment or left column energy is 203, as in the first 3 letters of the Torah. And the complete value of gold, representing chesed/loving-kindness, or right column energy, is 28, as in the 28 letters of the Torah’s first verse. All 12 tribes were instructed to give both gold and silver in the weights/proportions described above for the sacrifices. And just as (130+70+10+1+1+1+1+2+5+5+5) = 231, representing all the sacrifices, the complete values of gold and silver together (28 + 203) = 231 as well. And not only do these 231 Gates correspond with the 231 letter pair combinations amongst the 22 letters of the alef-bet but 231 is also the sum of the positive integers through 22, just as 903 was for 42. Gold and silver, money, assets, mean nothing in the achievement of the Tree-of-life reality–it can’t be purchased, but chesed/loving-kindness, and helping one another, these are the commodities that count. Remember, all the 12 tribes gave equally. The sacrifices are made for the community. It took more than Moses; it took unity to reach the Tree-of-life opportunity last time. And also to build the Holy Temples. And it was disunity that blew the opportunity and crumbled the Temples.
The hope for the community lies in our individual sacrifices for the sake of others, for the sake of our souls. Satan equates to selfish desires; Moshiach to overcoming them.

Our revelations last year, about the Omer we’re pretty startling, but one simple piece of the puzzle had alluded us: why do we count it twice? One time by days and another by weeks.
As noted last year, since no light is ever lost, the sum of 49 days we count is equivalent to the sum of the digits 1-49, which is 1225. But each weekly cycle, like the 7 words and 28 letters of the Torah’s first verse from which the Ana B’koach is derived, is similarly counted and the sum of the 7 days counting (1-7) is similarly 28.
And if we apply the value 28 to each week’s counting and count the 7 weeks using the same principles as above and as was used repeatedly in the construction of the Torah, we get the sum of the 7 sums of the weekly cycles as (28 + (28+28) + (28+28+28)…) or 28 squared, which is 784.
But what is revealed by this double counting that we do every year is 784 + 1225 = 2009, as in last year 2009 CE.
Now the day we don’t count, the final day, the completion of the Jubilee cycle, is the 50th day, Shavuot, the day we received the 10 utterances (Commandments) and thus the 10 sefirot (dimensions) of the Tree of Life, 66.6 jubilee years ago (3330 years ago).
And adding the final 10 to 2009, gives us 2019, the year the tzaddikim indicate was slated all along for the final redemption.
Presented below is the in depth article published last year. The importance of 2009 and the distinguishing of the final 10 years to the geula (redemption) will become more apparent once you’ve read it (or reread it).
f you’ve been reading our articles, you may feel like you’ve been collecting pieces of the giant cosmic puzzle, so here are few more key ones. For 3330 years we’ve counted the Omer, but for the first time we have a clear understanding as to why.
The Key is in the Word “Counting!”
The Key is in the word “Counting.” The Torah doesn’t command us to count many things, but it’s very clear about counting the 50 days of the Omer every year and about counting and keeping track of jubilee (Yovel) years every 50 years.
The tzaddikim instructed us long ago how to count the Omer properly, counting the days one at a time: along the branches of the 49-word Psalm 67 in the shape of a menora, one word at a time; counting the 49-letter central trunk of that menora one letter at a time; and counting the 42-Letter Name of G-d (Ana B’Koach) one letter/word at a time, including the name of the angel comprised of the 6 letters of each of the 7 rows, making 49 letters or words to be counted in total for each of 49 (7 x7) days from the 2nd day of Pesach through the reception of the Torah on Shavuot, the 50th day.
To the kabbalists, 50 always signifies Binah, the upper sefira (dimension) of Understanding, as in the 50 Gates of Binah, and the numerical value of Binah is 67, so it’s no coincidence that King David, wrote the divinely inspired Psalm 67 with 49 words. It’s also no coincidence that the midpoint in David’s life, 2889 HC, marks the exact midpoint from the Birth of Adam to the date the tzaddikim predicted for the full manifestation of the Moshiach and the tree-of-life (Etz Chaim) reality and geula in 5778 HC (2017-18 CE).
It’s also no coincidence that the 42-Letter Name is being used as the tzaddikim have also told us that the understanding of this Name will bring about the geula (final redemption).
The theme of midpoints is very important and the midpoint in the counting is on the 25th (5 x 5) day. Another important day occurs 8 days later in the counting:s the 33rd, day, called La’g B’Omer, when we celebrate the hillula of the author of the Zohar, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and when his energy is available to us. The 33rd day in terms of the sefirot (dimensions) is hod of hod, or the 5th level of the 5th level, so you can already see there is a connection to the midpoint of the Omer, or 25th day.
The open revelations below were first made on the 33rd day, L’ag B’Omer, this year, 5/12/2009, and not coincidentally we also revealed that the gematria of L’ag B’Omer is 358, that of Mashiach, when the kolel of the 7 letters is included, which isn’t surprising since Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, has a spark of Moses, who was an aspect of H’Moshiach.
What we didn’t reveal that day was that at the 33rd letter of the 42-Letter Name we have the word L’ag is reverse:
יגל פזק
And perpendicular to it we have the letters (Sh,Y, Ch, B) for Shimon Bar Yochai, and just as significantly the Shin, Yud, and Chet add up to 318, as in the exact numerical value of B’Omer, thus at the 33rd letter in the 42-Letter Name we have L’ag B’Omer and the initials of Shimon Bar Yochai. And if we use the gematria atbash of the Bet, which is Mem, we get a total gematria value of 358, Mashiach.
אבג יתץ
קרע שטן
נגד יכש
בטר צתג
חקב טנע
יגל פזק
שקו צית
But that is just an aside, the real revelations are still to come.
As we said, the 33rd day of the Omer is kabbalistically hod of hod, or the 5th level (sefira) of the 5th level, and thus is related to the very center of the
counting, the 25th day or 5 x 5, 8 days earlier, which is not coincidental since the first 8 words of the Torah have 33 words and a total value of 3003.
But here is what we can reveal today. The midpoint in the counting of both the central 49 letters and the 49 words of Psalm 67 intersect at the same place: the 1st Mem in Yamim. And when we sum up those 25 words, plus the kolel for the 25 words we get 5778.
Moreover the sum of the square roots of those 25 words is 345, that of Moses.
Remember 5778 is 9, or 3 x 3, years from now, 3330 years after the Torah was first received in 2448 HC. And as unconceivable as it is, up to that 25th word, the sum of the square roots of the 24 words is 333.078 or 3330 years and 78, represents the initials of Etz Chaim (A,Ch) the tree-of-life.
So given that when we examined the sum of the square roots of the 33 letters we counted through L’ag B’Omer this year, it came to 220.095 or 5/12/2009, May 12th 2009, L’ag B’Omer 2009 (5769 HC).
And the sum of the square roots of the sofit values of the same 33 letters is 256.44, the numerical value of Aaron, Moses’ brother and another aspect of Mashiach.
This past L’ag B’Omer, the energy of Mashiach that was earned during teh 8 days of Pesach this year was revealed to us and for us through Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, and it was marked on a counting system invented thousands of years ago.
There are no coincidences about these midpoints. Within the 248 words (1000 letters) of the Shema, the first paragraph has 42 words and is this associated with the 42-Letter Name of G-d, but in the center of that paragraph there are the words Brit Bam or “Covenant of 42.” At the very center of the 42-Letter Name of G-d we find the word Brit spelled out again. And while we’ve previously explained in The Genesis Prayer and elsewhere the connection of this central placement in the Ana B’Koach to Moshiach and the value 358, the sum of the initials of the words through the midpoint of the Shema’s first paragraph is also 358 (including the kolel of 1).
But there are two words “Bam(BM)” (Bet-Mems, or 42) in the Shema, and the 2nd one is the 137th word, as in the numerical value of Kabbalah (to receive), meaning that the span that just includes both 42’s is 115 words long. And this is significant because we’ve just completed 115 jubilee years since Adam and the year 5778 is exactly 115.56 jubilee years since Adam.
Jubilee (Yovel), by the way, is spelled (YBL) of numerical value 42.
And if we go to the 115 chapter in the Torah, we find the main verses telling us to Count the Jubilee years, starting at Vayikra 25:10. Once again 25.
Now, if the 22 words, 87 letters, 1 verse and 5 for the 5 final letters, owe also get 115 , but what’s more is that when we add the numerical value of final letters plus the kolel of 115 we get from the 22 words in the verse, plus the kolel of 115 we get 5769 (2009 ce), the same date given by the counting of the Omer.
But what’s the significance of the jubilee years?
It’s encoded into The Torah, but not all that cryptically. The first 4 words of Leviticus (Vayikra) 25:10 are “And you shall hallow the 50th year” which is Hebrew is VKDShTM ET ShNT HChMShYM, and if we isolate 50th year and separate out the final mem (M), shifting it to the middle of the placement word ET, we get EMT ShNT HChMShY or “And you shall make Holy Truth, Year of H’Moshiach.”
This full verse is divided into two parts, the first being 42 letters and the second being 45 letters, together forming 87, the gematria of Ani YHVH (I am G-d), and if we read the verse, even translated, it’s obvious that it speaks of the arrival of Moshiach in the first section and of the geula in the second. See for yourself.
The first 42 letters are “And you shall hallow the 50th year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all it’s inhabitants,” then the second 45 letters are “and you shall return every man to his family property and you shall return every man to his fmaily.”
While the initials of the last 3 words in the verse spell out Emet (EMT), truth, which is what the Torah and the 42-Letter name of G-d are called, the last word in the verse is Teshuvu. “you shall return” of gematria 708, the same as that of the upper 42-Letters of the Name of G-d.
And Rabbi Shimon in the Zohar in the Idra Zuta (section86), speaking about Vayikra 25:10, explains what the jubilee (yoval) is “and that spreads out its roots by the river (yuval).” (Jeremiah 17:8) For jubilee means a river after the river, which is Ima that comes out flows and emerges uninterruptedly to the garden, which is Malchut.” Ima is Binah.
Yovel (Jubilee) and Yuval (the river) are spelled the same except that the Torah sometimes spells Yovel without the vav(V), giving is a value of 42. To understand this you must know the secret that the vav always represents Zeir Anpin as does the number 45, which is why the verse 25:10 has two sections, one with 42 letters representing Yovel (jubilee) and the 42-Letter Name and the other with 45 letters, representing Zeir Anpin and Yuvel (the river), making the 42-Letter Name Binah to Zeir Anpin and making their union/fusion the key to the free-flowing river of Light, that is the Tree-of-Life.
And just to be clear, this verse 25:10, this 115th chapter, announcing the arrival of Mashiach and the geula with the jubilee year, starts at the 180030th letter in the Torah and the square root of 180030 is 424.300, with 424 being the gematria of Mashiach Ben David.
As for why 180030 letters and not 180000 letters which would be so cool, who knows, but Adam, who gave 70 years of his 1000-year lifespan to David, lived 930 years, or 18 jubilee years plus 30 years.
And speaking of David, there are exactly 115.56 jubilee years from Adam to 5778, and while the midpoint in that time frame is the year 2889, the midpoint in David’s life, we also have inexplicably an equation whereby 115.56 x 28.89 = 3338, which is the year the First Temple was destroyed, which is also defined by 5778 x .5778 = 3338. And while the square root of 115.56 = 107.50, we also have the phenomenon that the sum of the integers through 107 = 5778. For more on this please see the books The Divine Calendar and There’s Nothing Random About the Universe, but either way, there is a definite and definitive calendar of what is to happen and when, and it’s been around for 5778 years, which just happens to be the surface temperature of the sun (5778 K).
And most important for us, ever since L’ag B’Omer 2009 (5769) the energy of rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the spark of Moshiach is here with us and here to stay.
Right now the energy is individual. Those that choose to connect to it can. It has not been universally available for nearly 3330 (66.6 jubilee years), but it is now. The river (yuval) is flowing.
To the tzaddikim the final letters in a Torah phrase speak to the future, and the telling final letters of the 4 words VKDShTM ET ShNT HChMShYM, add up to 880 as in the 88th paragraph of Vayikra, which it is, but they also add up to 2000 using gematria sofit, and it was in 2004 that the first book about the 42-Letter Name, The Genesis Prayer, was written to explain the connection between the Name and Moshiach and to help open the channels for the river to flow through. Alternatively, 2000 plus the 17 letters in the 4 words is 2017, as in the year 5778.
As per The Divine Calendar, the theme of 8’s is of extreme significance in Biblical dating and hence the connection of 8 days between between the 25th and 33rd days, but it also explains Rabbi Shimon’s and the spark of Moshiach’s reappearance 8 years before the start of the 2017-2018 (5777-5778) period, which coincides which what the tzaddikim have told us will be the 8 year period of the brit (covenant) of Mashiach, akin to the 8 day period before the brit milah of a new born boy.
So it’s also no coincidence that in this double reading corresponding to the 57-78 verses, we also read at Vayikra 26:42, “then I will remember My Covenant with Jacob and also My Covenant with Isaac and also My Covenant with Abraham I will remember, and I will remember the land.” And let us not forget that G-d made his Covenant with Abraham in 2018 HC.
And just like the word Brit (BRYT) spelled out at the center of first 42-word paragraph of the Shema and at the center of the 42-Letter Name, and of the numerical term 358 (Moshiach) mathematically spelled out in both places, and just like the first 4 letters of the central trunk of the the Psalm 67 menora that also spell Moshiach (MShYCh) and its next 8 letters that add up to 358 (Mashiach), the first 5 initials of the first 5 words of verse 25:10 add up the 612, that of Brit (Covenant).
G-d is not forgetting His Covenants, so let us not forget either. The time and energy is upon us.

This weeks Haftorah portion tells us Judgment day is coming and When! I was preparing an article this week about the 4 times H’Mashiach is explicated mentioned in the Torah, but the Pesach cleaning took precedence: nevertheless, this and every Shabbat Hagadol–the Shabbat of Redemption—just before Pesach we read the Haftorah portion Malachi 3:4-24 about the ”End of Days.”
The final verse in that reading is “Behold, I will send you Elijah the Prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of God.”
And that verse is actually repeated twice, word for word, first in chapter 23 and again in chapter 25: “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of God.”
The final 5 words of those verses, “boy yom YHVH hagadol v’hanorah (BE YVM YHVH HGDVL VHNVR,”E) meaning “the coming of the great and terrible day of God,” numerically add up to 407, whose square root, as we’ve explained recently and repeatedly in context, is 20.17424, which can be split up into the year 2017 and 424, the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David. But what makes this connection doubly emphatic is that the final 6 words (“before the coming of the great and terrible day of God,” add up to 577 as in 5777-5778 or 2017-2018 CE which the tzaddikim have given us as that self same day for the Geula, the Final Redemption.”
And the square root of the sum of the entire verse (1661) is 40.7…once again.
So why is the verse repeated twice?
There are multiple reasons for one of the most ominous and significant verses in the Tanakh (Bible) to be repeated twice, like the hitting of the stone by Moses twice and the two sets of Tablets that Moses brought down, but today we will explore only the gematria, the encoded secret one. There are 49 letters in each of the verses, which connect to the 49 days of redemption, the 49-day Omer period from Passover to reception of the 10 Commandments (Utterances) on Shavuot, the 50th day. And the 50th or hidden letter of this verse, would be the final letter vav (V) in Eliyahu (ELYHV), Elijah in English, who we know from the Arizal was originally Pinchas, whose zealousness stopped the plagues and saved the Israelite. According to some, that vav (V)–written in Hebrew as a vertical line–is the spear of Pinchas, which according to the Zohar is the broken vav(V) in the word Shalom (peace) in the Torah portion Pinchas, where is describes his zealousness. We find that broken vav(V) in the phrase “Covenant of Peace.”
Moreover, this broken Vav (V) of numerical value 6, is reminiscent of the 408 missing component letters from the total 600,000 component letters (exactly 599,592) of the Torah, which, if they were represented by the letter vav(V) would equal numerically a total value of 408 x 6, or 2448, which in turn is 49 jubilee years (Biblical 50-year interval) after the Birth of Adam, and is precisely the year the Torah was received at Sinai, 2448 HC.
Now back to the two verses that seem to herald judgment day, the prophesied day of the final redemption (the geula). The total gematria for the 26 (YHVH) words in the 2 verses with the kolel for the YHVH (4) added for each—representing together (4 +4) the 8 days/years of the Brit of Mashiach as described by the tzaddikim, is 3330. This, as noted many times in previously articles concerning other verses and Torah portions, is exactly 66.6 jubilee years (50-year interval) from the exodus from Egypt and reception of the Torah (Tree-of-life consciousness) in 2448, or precisely 3330 years before 5778 (2018 CE), 8 years from today.
Chag Samech
Have a wonderful Pesach Everyone

Last Friday and Saturday a storm hit New York, hit us hard. As we ventured out Sunday with no heat, power, or phones we learned that the fierce storm had actually been an unpredicted unnamed hurricane, the Shabbos Hurricane. The hurricane proved fatal for a few, but devastating for many in the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut Metropolitan region. Four days later, with the schools closed we still didn’t have power and were just one family of 120,000 of the original 500,000 still without power. But it was only while attempting to drive around, that we realized the extent of the devastation: thousands upon tens of thousands of large trees had been ripped out of the ground and toppled over upon houses, cars and most often the power lines, causing the telephones poles that carried those power lines to snap and topple with them across the main thoroughfares. We couldn’t travel 2 blocks without being detoured. The 75 mile an hour winds and even stronger gusts caught the numerous tall evergreen trees like sails on the sea, and splintered any other tree not in prime condition. The first comment anyone and everyone had was that this was a war zone. So why did it happen?
Usually the weatherman and weather channels track these storms with non-stop team coverage for a week before they make landfall with vivid pictures of weatherman standing on the shore, leaning into wind microphones aloft, to show us how brave they are and what we’re up against. So how did this storm, predicted to dump 2-4 inches of rain—sizable, but manageable—over our region take them all by surprise?
I first look to the spiritual, and yes, trees and nature live a life cycle that includes weeding out the weaker ones to make room for new growth, and yes, many souls are locked up inside trees and maybe they all needed releasing at this moment in time for some reason unbeknownst to us. But once our power and order was restored and I found the time to catch the news, another reason occurred to me.
While the storm was just making shore and was still a simple rainstorm on Friday, the Obama administration was threatening Israel and verbally attacking it for continuing to build homes for its people (Bnei Israel) and for not actively engaging its enemies (Ishmael) in a “so-called” peace dialogue. This is the same administration that spent the past year twiddling its thumbs while Iran sped along its developments of a nuclear arsenal aimed at Israel. It’s not hard to see where the Obama administration’s priorities lie, but it is quite coincidental that as the verbal attacks on Israel intensified Friday and Saturday, the simple rainstorm suddenly became the most devastating natural disaster to befall our region in known history.
What was also seemingly coincidental was the freak death of the very beloved Rabbi Rubenstein, who was struck by lightening in his Shabbos sleep less than 1/4 mile from here exactly 23 months ago to the day of our Shabbos no name hurricane.
Since the hurricane hit on Shabbot, it behooves us to look for answers to the Torah portion read this week, Vayakel, whose numerical value is 151, the same as the word “mikve,” representing a physical and significantly, a spiritual cleansing. We just finished the incident of the golden calf and Moses is about to give us the laws of Shabbat. And since the first verse, phrase, or words of anything and in this case, the portion, is the seed level and thus the spiritual guide for the rest of portion, we should examine the first 7 word phrase of this portion: “Moses assembled the whole Israelite community (VYKHL MShH ET CL ADT BNY YShREL).”
The first word as we said represented the power of the mikve, or cleansing.
And while the second word is Moshe, representing healing, the first two together (spiritual cleansing-healing) numerically sum to 496, that of the sefira (dimension) of Malchut, our world, and thus a cleansing and healing of our world, a tikune or correction if you will.
In contrast, the 3rd and 4th words add up to 451, the numerical value of Ishmael, representing the Arab and Moslem nations, also fathered by Abraham.
The next word is the 5th word, a permutation of the word Da’at, “knowledge, the sefira (dimension) representing the combined upper worlds.
And finally “Bnei Israel” the Israelites, whose numerical value with the kolel for their 8 letters is 611, the numerical value of Torah.
As further evidence of this imagery, we have the sum of the first 5 initials of the phrase adding up to 137 and the last two to 12, possibly representing the 137 years of Ishmael’s life and the 12 tribes of Bnei Israel.
Of course, beyond revealing the encoding anything we can say about this verse would be no more than inference, but we do know from the sages of blessed memory that the final letters point toward the future and the 7 final letters in this phrase including the kolel add up to 913, the numerical value of Bereshit, the Torah’s first word, “In the beginning,” hinting at the time of Da’at that existed in the beginning and to a new beginning. And also the numerical value of the initials through the word Da’at, 137, is also that of “to receive,” inferring “a receipt of Da’at.”
Nevertheless, the full value of the 7 words, reminiscent of the Torah’s first verse, also of 7 words, is 2017, when the kolel for the 7 words is removed. Or 2001, if the kolel for the 23 letters of the phrase is removed, and we all know the destruction that took us by surprise and befell our region in 2001.
As to what new beginning there may be in 2017, we can look to the one word that both the Torah’s first verse and this phrase have in common, Et, whose numerical value when the kolel for the other 6 words in either case is added is 407, whose square root in turn is 20.17424, or 2017 again and 424, the numerical value of Moshiach Ben David, which coincides with the predictions of certain tzaddikim of blessed memory.
And if Obama is elected to a second term, that term will be up in 2017.
Shabbat Shalom,
Ezra

Before we examine the ancient monument that has stood proud for thousands of years secretly hiding the value of the ancient and future cubit in plain sight and see what else it reveals about our history and future, lets go back to the nature of the cubit itself: the splitting in halves of the double 55 to give us 27.5 inches.
Let’s look first to the Torah and last week’s portion. And as we do, we’ll reveal a secret encoding for the blessing of conception and childbirth, which in essence is the union of the two halves. For those that understand, the two halves are always the letters Vav and Hei of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH)
The Torah portion Vayera begins the 49th paragraph and 18th chapter of the Torah. It begins with the words Vayera Elav Adonai (VYRE ELYV YHVH), “God appeared to him,” of numerical value 290.
And note for the moment that that this first chapter of parsha Vayera ends at Bereshit 18:33, which matches up nicely with the gematria value (1833) of the first half of the Shem Mem-Bet (42-Letter Name of G-d), whose mid- point is marked with the letters Resh-Zadi (RZ) of numerical value 290. Readers of The Genesis Prayer already know this RZ gateway, or connection, at the very center of the 42-Letter Name matrix and its relationship between this gateway the Well of Miriam (also of numerical value 290) and the blessing of conception and childbirth, but in this article we’re going to focus primarily on the secret encoding of the Torah as it applies to this miracle/blessing.
Please note because it is not coincidence that there are 290 letters in the 4th paragraph of the Schema, the 1st of which has 42 words.
Nevertheless, before we do, let’s take a step back to the prior weeks’ portion Lech Lecha (LC LC, of numerical value 50-50) the only portion named after one of the Torah’s mysterious 89 double (duplicate) words. In this portion, we find in the 45th paragraph of the Torah the Covenant of G-d with Abraham, the one that promises that his descendants will be as numerous as the stars, also know as the Covenant of Halves. The readers of know full well that this event occurred, according to the sages of blessed memory in 2018 HC (see The Divine Calendar).
Let’s flash forward to Vayera, 20:18, the last verse in paragraph 50 of the Torah, which states, “God had previously sealed up every womb in Abimelech’s house, because of Abraham’s wife Sarah.”
Now it just so happens that this verse also contains a double word, Azir Azar (AZR AZR), the 17th double in the Torah, which is akin to the sum of the values of the initials of this portiosn first 3 words, (VYRE ELYV YHVH), 17. Moroever, each of these double words contains the same Resh-Zadi (RZ) combination as in the center of the 42 Letter Name.
We’ll get more into these mysterious doubles, but first the Torah is giving us some very practical spiritual advice if we want to conceive, even if like Sarah Amenu, we are 89 years old and born without a womb. In the verse just prior to this one, in 20:17, “Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, as well as his wife and slavegirls, so that they were able to have children.” In the very next verse, the first in chapter 21, Sarah is granted special providence by G-d to give birth to Isaac and begin to fulfill his Covenant with Abraham.
The practical and simple advice is to pray for others to conceive if your desire is for yourself or your wife to.
Now, it’s no coincidence that Isaac is conceived and born in the first 2 verses of chapter 21, just as the RZ combination in the Shem Mem-Bet is located at the 21st letter of the Name, the midpoint of the 42 letters.
Keeping in mind that the ordinal value of the letter Resh is 20 and Zadi is 18, the last 3 words of verse 20:18, are Sarah, wife of Abraham, (SRH EShT EBRHM) and with the kolel their numerical value sofit can be either 2017 or 2018.
Moreover, the next set of double words in the Torah is also in parsha Vayera, and they are “Abraham Abraham,” and not only are these the 18th pair of duplicate words, but the numerical value of Abraham is 248, the same as the Hebrew word for womb, rechem.
We further note that these verses, all related to the RZ combination and to childbirth, are in the 4th reading of the Vayera Torah portion, just as the RZ is in the center of the 4th line of the Ana B’koach (42-Letter Name), the level of Netzach, which is associated with the energy of victory and perseverance.
We’ll get more into the miracles embedded into these 89 mysterious double words as we get closer to Chanukah, not coincidentally also of numerical value 89, but for now, please note that the midpoint of these 89 words is the 45th one, Darosh Darash, connecting us back to where we began in the 45th Paragraph of the Torah and the Covenant of Abraham in 2018. Now Darosh Darash has the numerical value 504 – 504 and this location also splits the number of occurrences of the word value 504 into 25 and 25 per half, and while Darosh Darash is the 45th overall double, it is the 32nd unique one and the 32nd overall one just so happens to be CH CH of numerical value 25-25, representing not only the last two letters of Channukah (ChNVCH), but the date that the miracles of Channukah begin every year, the 25th of Kislev.
Now, getting back to the occurrence of this hidden blessing for childbirth in 20:18 of paragraph 50 of the Torah, we know that 50 always represents the sefira (dimension) Binah and always connects to the 50 jubilee years prescribed in the counting toward Moshiach and the geula (final redemption), and that 49 chapters after the Covenant of Halves in chapter 15 of Bereshit we have the end of exile and exodus from Egypt.
As part of that Covenant given in the year 2018 HC, G-d informs Abraham that his descendents will be in exile for 430 years and 2018 plus 430 years is 2448 HC, the year of the exodus, which just so happens to be 49 jubilee years (49 x 50) from Adam.
And of the 89 double word pairs in the Torah, 49 are unique after discounting for repeats, leaving (89 – 49) = 40 repeated double word pairs, as in the 40 jubilee years from Adam to the Covenant with Abraham in 2018 HC.
Then again there is the strange tale of Lot’s daughter getting impregnate by their father at the very end of paragraph 49. The descendant of that union many generation later would be King David, born 57.08 jubilee years after Adam., once again tying in the concept of childbirth and Mashiach.
Of course, with the symmetry of the two calendars as illustrated in The Divine Calendar, Abraham’s birth in 1948 HC is analogous to Israel’s birth in 1948 CE, which is 5708 HC; and 2018 HC seventy (70) years later is analogous to the date Rav Ashlag gave us for the arrival of Moshiach and the geula in 2018 CE, or 5778 in the Hebrew calendar.
And how does the 70 years play in to this?
A hundred different ways as per The Divine Calendar, but for this article just note that the letter Ayin in the double words (AZR AZR) at Bereshit 20:18 has a numerical value of 70 and that there are 3760 years from the year 2018 HC to 5778 HC, and 3760 = 42.24 x 89 with 422 being the numerical value of the word “seventy (70).”
Moreover, of those 89 mystical double words, all of which help bring us miracles especially that of childbirth, 3 are in the 1st chapter of the Torah, 12 in the next, leaving 70 more plus the four (4) that spell out “Ani YHVH Melech, Amen” or I am G-d, King, amen.” This is analogous to the path of the Jewish soul, as explained by the Arizal, from the YHVH to Adam (of numerical value 45) to the 3 Patriarchs to the 12 sons of Jacob to the 70 family members of Jacob to the 600,000 to the fulfillment of G-d’s Covenant with Abraham in paragraph 45 to make them more numerous than the stars.
And what does this all have to do with the 27.5 inch measure of the ancient and future cubit?
Well, the 42-Letter Name is derived from the 1st verse of the Torah, which ends in Resh-Zadi (RZ) and because these are the 27th and 28th letters of the Torah, we have (27+28)/2 = 55/2 = 27.5. Moreover, 89 x 27.5 = 2448, as in the year of the exodus 2448 HC. As for how that relates to 5778, we’ll just have to wait until the next article on that ancient monument of stone.
Meanwhile, tracing back to the first 3 words in Vayera–Vayera Elav YHVH, meaning G-d Appeared to him–we find that the middle word Elav, is repeated a short time later in the portion, this time with 3 dots over it, one of 10 times this occurs in the Torah, and we know from the sages that these 3 dots represent the 3 archangels that visted Abraham on the 3rd day of his circumcision—Michael, Gabriel, and Rachael—at the entrance to his tent. So not only are we being advised that if we persevere with our good spiritual intentions through our sufferings G-d will send us his angels, but with all the allusions to childbirth and to the arrival of Moshiach in 2018 CE, we are also being specifically advised to persevere with the right consciousness throughout the trials and tribulation of trying to conceive, and moreover through the next 9 years and the birth pangs of Moshiach.
And while G-d will fulfill his Covenant in 2018 (5778) for those that persevere and maintain the proper consciousness, Bereshit 20:18 described the closing of the wombs for everyone who held Sarah captive. And amongst those 89 duplicative words, the word pair Taroph Toraph (TtRP TtRP) appears twice, the first time in paragraph 73 when Joseph was 17 and of the 49 unique pairs, this is the 17th one. The word means to ravage, tear to pieces, and its while the numerical value of the pair is 578, the gematria sofit numerical value of the pair is 2018. Go figure!
Think about that. G-d set every word in the Torah for a reason. G-d set every word for a blessing. 89 of them he set twice. Maybe we should pay attention to them. Life is fraught with obstacles and suffering, but if we know where to look, it’s also full of blessings and the tools to manifest them.
There are two halves to everything, the physical, represented by the feminine receptive letter Hey of the numerical value (5) and the spiritual represented by the masculine giving letter vav of the numerical value (6), together they add up to 11, as in the 11 unique letters in the Torah’s first verse and the 11 incenses that completes the 89 lights of the Menora within the sanctuary of the Holy Temple.
We must also keep in mind, especially in the darkest times that there is a spiritual and a physical component to everything. Through that knowledge you will find the solution.
Tonight is the death anniversary of the great kabbalist Abraham Azulai, may his memory be for a blessing and may G-d bless us all.

The Torah portion Vaethchanan is always read right after Tisha B’Av, the day of utter darkness that always portends to hold the greatest light as the promised birth date of Moshiach Ben David. Long before the Final Solution, the destruction of the Holy Temples and the incident of the spies all occurred on Tisha B’Av, the 9th day of the month of Av, Abraham, the Patriarch, explained that the month of Av was controlled by the Hebrew letters Caf(C) and Tet(Tt), which divided the month spiritually into the first 9 days as indicated by the numerical value of the letter Tet(Tt) and the subsequent 20 days as indicated by the value of the letter Caf(C) and to the expression of the crowning sefira (dimension) of Keter. And in this portion, we always read the 42 words of the Shema’s first paragraph, the 10 Commandments, and the prophecies of the end of days as laid out by Moses.
Referring to the portion of Chukath that we discussed in our article “The Book of the Wars of the Lord,” the act of Moses striking the ground twice instead of following G-d commandment to him “to speak to the cliff (rock)” and that the value of that phrase was 848, or twice that of Mashiach Ben David (424). And also that the reason he did that was to shorten the time span of the arrival of the Moshiach by half, from the 5778 years as denoted by the tzaddikim to 2889 years, which is the midpoint in King David’s life, because Moses knew how strong the negative side would be today and how difficult it would be for us to overcome it. Furthermore, the Torah hinted of this in the words “water from the rock,” which was what came directly from his action, in that this phrase’s numerical value is 345, that of Moses, whose completed spirit it is said will be our redeemer, our Moshiach, in the end of days.
Moses knew that the evil inclination, like red wine grows stronger with age, but as previously discussed the evil inclination has its age limit as well, which one reason why wine (YYN) has the numerical value of 70 and is also one of the reasons we fill the Kiddush cup to the brim and look into it: to see an end to our judgments and an end (a limit) to the evil forces at the end of the 70 years. Moses knew G-d’s timing was at the end of the 70 years period from when Israel became a nation in 5708 (1948 CE), but he wanted to move that timing up to the end of the 70 years of King David’s life when we’d all have a better chance given the strength and Wisdom of King David and his son King Solomon. Moses knew it wasn’t really going to happen, but worth a try given what he knew of our odds today. But what he did bring us at the end of David’s 70 years was the First Holy Temple.
We’ve discussed other reasons in other articles, but one of the reasons Moses knew this was that when Jacob was given the name Israel, the numerical value of 359 was added to that of the name Jacob (182), and Israel of numerical value 541 became the father of all the Israelites, and the value of the word Satan (359), code for the evil inclination, became embedded as our stumbling block. So if at the end of the 70 years, the value of Satan could be extracted from Israel, we’d be left with Jacob, who is Zein Anpin, and the natural order would be restored. As the word for “In Seventy (B’ShBAYM),” it has the numerical value 424, that of Moshiach Ben David, so we see what awaits us at the end of the 70 years if we truly desire it enough to work for it.
As you will see, all this ties into pasha Vaethchanan, which starts off with Moses praying 515 times to enter the promised land in order to bring Moshiach once and for all. We’ve discussed this in prior articles about his obeying G-d’s request of him to stop at 515, when the 516th time would have achieved his desired result, so we’ll only point out that 848 – 515 = 333, as in the 3330 years that would transpire from the Exodus from Egypt and the reception of the Torah at Sinai when we were first offered the Tree-of-Life reality to the year 5778, when Rav Yehuda HaLevi Ashlag (HaSulam) of blessed memory and tells us we will next be offered that opportunity.
The reason it was so telling that the essence of Jacob (Zeir Anpin) will return at the end of days is that the geula (final redemption) is all about the mating (reuniting) of the 6 sefirot (dimensions) of Zeir Anpin with Malchut (our 10th sefirot/dimension), completing the circuitry, as it completes the 7 lower sefirot and restores the Tree-of-life structure/ reality back to its original state, before Adam chose the wrong tree or course for mankind.
We see this explained in the Zohar Vaethchanan 187- 190:
187: The Holy One, blessed be He, at the end of day, will return Israel to the holy land and gather them from exile. The end of days is that which is the last of the days,” and as Rav Ashlog explains, “[this is] Malchut, which is the last of the sefirot, called days.”
Section 187 continues to reiterate this and also explains part of the prophecy: “During the end of days Israel will suffer exile. This is what is meant by, ‘When you are in distress, and these things are come upon you, in the latter days’ (Devarim 4:30), and evil will befall you in the end of days’ (Devarim 31:29),” as we will discuss shortly. “Together with this end of days they receive punishment in exile. With it the Holy One, blessed be He, will wreak vengeances for Israel constantly…”
189: “Happy is the portion of he who sees him, [Moshiach], and happy is the portion of he who sees him not. Woe to him who shall be present when the great lion will demand to mate with his female, and more so when they will mate together,” which as Rav Aslog explains means, “Zeir Anpin with Malchut at the time of redemption.” The Zohar continues, “Of that hour it is written, ‘The lion has roared, who will not fear…’ (Amos 3:8)”
190: “Come and see, at first it is written, ‘He shall mightily roar because of His habitation’ (Yirmeyah 25:30). When Zeir Anpin will come out to receive his mate, Malchut, it is said, “The lion has roared, who will not fear’: “Adonai Elohim has spoken, who can but prophesy’ (Amos 3:8). At that time it is written, ‘then Hashem your Elohim will turn captivity’ (Devarim 30:3). What is meant by ‘turn’? [And he answers,] The Holy One, blessed be He, returns the congregation of Israel from exile, and the righteous returns to join its place….
And before we explain how Rav Ashlog derived the date of the final redemption as the year 5778, and why it is so, we need to see what the Zohar has to say in Vaetchanan 188:
“Once a shadow started to form at the beginning of the other day, as during the time when the Temple was destroyed when the shadow was about to be gathered. [When there will be] day and shadow, it will be the end of exile,” which Rav Ashlog explains means, “redemption will come when the shadow begins to emerge.” The Zohar continues, “The measure of that shadow is 6 thumbs long for the height of a man among men. This secret is remembered among the friends though the verse, ‘for we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow’ (Iyov 8:9), ‘for we are but yesterday,’ namely in exile; ‘and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow,’ which means the Holy One, blessed be He, wants the shadow and the day to rest upon the earth.”
To understand this, one must grasp that the Sun is Zeir Anpin, represented by the number 6, which coincides with the 6 thumbs and 6 feet of height of a man, but also that only the Sun, the giver of Light and life in our world, can create a shadow, and the temperature of the surface of the sun from which the light emanates is exactly 5778 K.
Neither Rav Ashlog 70 years ago, nor Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the author of the Zohar, 1900 years ago, nor Moses, 3330 years ago, knew about the temperature of the sun, yet they knew the date, the length of the shadow cast by the tree-of-Knowledge of good and evil over our world.
It’s important to understand that the 6 sefirot (dimensions) of Zeir Anpin, denoted by the number 6, can be expressed as 60, 600, 6000… or as 6, 66, 666… or even 6 x 6 x 6, depending on subtle interpretations of the sub-sefirot at each level.
As the Zohar implies here and more explicated elsewhere, the commonly thought date for the Moshiach and redemption is at the end of the 5th millennium, around the year 6000, or 6 x 1000. These 6 thousands correspond the 6 letter Alefs (E) of Creation, in other words in the Torah’s first verse. The letter Alef (E), the first in the Hebrew Alphabet, of numerical value 1, is spelled ELP, which has a numerical value of 111, and as the Arizal explains, it also spells out the word Elef (ELP), meaning 1000, thus the 6 Alefs of Creation equal 6, 666, and 6000 respectively, all representative of Zeir Anpin.
Just so we know, every 1000 years is 1/1730702 of 5778, which makes perfect sense since the 7 words of the Torah’s first verse come right out of the 42-Letter Name of G-d, whose small gematria value is 173 and 702 remainder is the numerical value of the word Shabbat, which is the malchut or final level, so that each 1000 years stretches from keter to machut.
Now, the 3rd word of the Torah is the Name of G-d Elohim, which is representative of the Malchut aspect of G-d, that of nature following its course. The last concept to understand is that Zeir Anpin is divided into an upper 1/3 and a lower 2/3, which while simple is really so complex that the Arizal has spent volumes on it, but today we confine ourselves to the simple understanding that 1/3 =.333… and 2/3 = .666…
So with that stated, we can examine the Length of the Shadow as Rav Ashlag witnessed it: Applying the 3 column tree-of-life structure to the 6000 year period (or 6 Alefs) we see that it breaks down to 3 iterations of 2/3.
6000 x .666 = 4000
4000 x .666 = 1333…
1333 x .666 = 444…
5778
As Rav Ashlag specifically pointed out, the final 2/3 period began with the death of the Arizal himself in (4000+1333) or 5333.
But we should also note that the digits in 4000, 1333, and 444 = 4+0+0+0+1+3+3+3+4+4+4 = 26, the numerical value of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH). Couldn’t be coincidental, could it?
Before examine further this divine equation (time-frame) in the 3-column structure let’s go back to the Torah portion Vaetchanan and the chapter where many of the prophecies are given, Devarim 4. As a clue to the connection to Moses’ pleas and actions of striking the rock twice on our behalf in order to bring Moshiach earlier than the proscribed divine time frame, this is chapter is the 515th chapter in the Torah, and there are four phrases within this chapter of numerical value 848, including one at Devarim 4:40 “A long time in the land that God your Lord [is giving you for all time],” but we’ll get into Moses prophecies a little later.
In that same verse, Devarim 4:40, Moses uses the words “All time,” referring to the land that God our Lord is giving us for all time. “All time “kol h’yamim” is spelled in Hebrew CL HYMYM, which breaks down to kol (all) of numerical value 50, representing the 50 gates of Binah the Biblical jubilee year (50-years long), and the word value 50 is coupled with “the time” or “the days” h’yamim (HYMYM), which with the kolel of 1 has the numerical value of 666. Thus together they give us 50 x 66.6 jubilee years= 3330 years, which, as we’ve said, is the exact period of time from the first exodus and the reception of the Torah at Sinai when the tree-of-life was last offered to us in 2448 to the year 5778, which the tzaddikim have long known will be the next cosmic window for the Tree-of-life reality.
And not coincidentally, in the very next chapter, the 516th chapter, coinciding with the 516 times that Moses needed to pray/plea to enter the promised land and bring in the Tree-of-life, we have the retelling of the 10 Commandments (Utterances).
But back to the divine 3-column equation:
6000 x .666 = 4000
4000 x .666 = 1333…
1333 x .666 = 444…
5778
4000 = 6 x 666…years; 1333 = 2 x 666…years ; and 444 = 2/3 x 666…. years
for a total of 6 + 2 + 2/3 or 8 2/3 x 666 years. And going back to the seed of Creation, we see that the numerical value of the first 8 and 2/3 letters of the Torah (BREShYT BRE) is 1115.6, which magnificently coincides with the 115.6 jubilee years from the dawn of time (Adam) to the year 5778.
Moreover, when we take the figure of 66.6 jubilee years into account, rather than the generic 666, this divine 3-column structure also gives us:
4000 = 60 x 66.6…years; 1333 = 20 x 66.6…years ; and 444 = 6.666 x 66.6…. years
for a total of 86.666 x 66.6 years, and since 86 is the numerical value of Elohim, the 3rd and very next word after (BREShYT BRE), and since Elohim is the Name of G-d associated with the sefira (dimension) of Malchut, and since as discussed, 666 represents Zeir Anpin, we find that the 3-column structure of the divine equation not only brings the first 2/3 (Bereshit bre) of the first 3 words of the Torah together with the last 1/3 of those first 3 words (Elohim), but it couples (mates) Zeir Anpin with Malchut in the year 5778, as indicated in the Zohar would happen at the time of the final redemption.
As an aside, and keep in mind that the revealing phrase “all time” was in Devarim 4:40, the gematria sofit value of those first 3 words is 1776, as in the year of the formation of the United States and as in 1 more that the total value of the 27 letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, 1775. We’ve covered the US role in the grand scheme of things in previous articles and also President Obama’s role as our 44th President and how that relates to the 10 plagues, whose first plague has the numerical value of 44 and whose second plague interestingly enough has the numerical value of 444, which we can now relate to the final 444 year period from the birth of the Arizal to the year 5778. We only mention this because two of the 3 columns of the divine equation 444 and 1333 equate to 444 + 1332 = 1776 when the 666.666 is rounded off to 666.
And for anyone unaware, the year 5778 is the year 2018, exactly 10 years after the financial crises began in the US. And as discussed in numerous articles and at length in The Divine Calendar, the year 2018 CE corresponds numerically to the year 2018 HC, the year G-d made his Covenant with Abraham, to which the prophecies and promises of Vaetchanan relate and refer.
And for those interested, the date that Moses was trying to shorten our time frame to was 2889, or midway through King David’s life and half of 5778, but 44 x 66.6 years is 2930, only 2 years after the First Holy Temple was built. And if you recall from our article on the Tetragrammaton, it spells out quite clearly 5778 as well, with the numerical value of the Malchut aspect of the Tetragrammaton (YVD HH VV HH) being 52 and with 5778/52 = 111.11538, we see that 2889 = 26 x 111.11538. And while we wont reiterate here the significance of .11538, remember that it all harks back to the first 6 alefs of Creation, each of numerical value 111.
When discussing the 6 alefs (E) and the time-frame of 6000 years, it’s interesting that up until the portion Vaetchanan there are exactly 6000 letter Dalets, of numerical value 4 and as stated above, it is in the 4th chapter within Vaetchanan that we learn of Moses’ prophecies about the 4 exiles. And we knew to pay attention to the letters because Vaetchanan begins with the 4995th verse in the Torah and the total value of the 27 Hebrew letters, using gematria sofit, is 4995. That said, in Devarim 4:23 Moses advises us. “Be careful that you nor forget the covenant that God your Lord made with you, [Do not] make for yourself any statue image that is forbidden by God,” and in 4:24, corresponding to the value of Moshiach Ben David (424), he continues, “God your Lord is a consuming fire, a God demanding exclusive allegiance.”
Here in the same portion where we have the Shema and the line “Hear O Israel, the Lord our G-d, G-d is One” we see it clearly stated that there is One G-d and we should not be worshipping anyone else or anything else, nor any image of anyone or anything else. It’s hinted at that if we obey that simple commandment we will merit Moshiach Ben David, but if not, then in 4:25 Moses begins to tell us the prophecies what will happen to us because he knew we wouldn’t fulfill that commandment.
“When you have children and grandchildren and have been established in the land a long time, you might become decadent and make a statue of some image, committing an evil act in the eyes of God your Lord and making Him angry.” 4:26 “I call upon heaven and earth as witnesses for you today that you will then quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to occupy. You will not remain there very long, since you will be utterly destroyed.” 4:27 “God will then scatter you among the nations and only a small number will remain among the nations to which God will lead you.” 4:28 “There you will serve gods that man have made out of wood and stone, which cannot see, hear, eat or smell.”
Through here, Moses appears to be describing the events of first century CE, when we were established in the land a long time and we were about 66.6% (2/3) of the way to 5778. It was known as a time of decadence (though not as bad as our generation) and many Israelites turned away from the One G-d commandment and began accepting the plausibility of praying to more than one god, which led to praying to images of that second god. Moses had even advised that the reason G-d didn’t let the Israelites at Sinai see Him was so they would make no images of Him with which to worship—it was that important that people worship directly. Yet as Moses foresaw, they did, and the Holy Temple was destroyed and the Israelites were scattered among the nations of the earth in small pockets. And there, also as Moses foresaw, they (we) served the men that made those idols and later more idols and more items to idolize, until we were like Abraham alone amongst the idols made by his father Terach in the final years between his birth in 1948 HC and the Covenant of the Lord 70 years later in 2018 HC.
And like those dates 3760 years ago, or 10 x 376 (the value of Shalom/peace), with the birth of Abraham in 1948 HC and the birth of Israel in 1948 CE we hear Moses’ words from Devarim 4:29 “Then you will begin to seek God your Lord, and if you pursue Him with all your heart and soul, you will eventually find Him.” 4:30 “When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, you will finally return to you’re your Lord and obey him.” 4:31 “God your Lord is a merciful Power, and He will not abandon you or destroy you; He will not forget the oath He made upholding your father’s covenant [3760 years earlier in 2018 HC].”
Then in Devarim 4:32 Moses cryptically advises us “inquire about times” [by] “going back to” [Creation], where in the 7 words of the Torah’s first verse we found the answer 5778 spelled out for us.
But in Devarim 4:40 where we encountered both the prophetic numerical value 848 in “A long time in the land that God your Lord [is giving you for time],” and in the words “All time,” referring to the land that God our Lord is giving us for all time, which revealed to us the equation 50 x 66.6 = 3330, we also find that the full phrase “I am presenting to you today, so that He will be good to you and your children after you. Then you will endure for a long time in the land that God” has the numerical value 5777, and is only one of 13 phrases in the Torah with that value (4000+1333+444), with the number 13 being the value of ahava (love) and Echad (one) as in “G-d is One” found later in this portion.
But we jumped ahead a verse and back in Devarim 4:33-34 Moses asks, “Has any nation ever heard God speaking out of fire, as you have, and still survived? Has God ever done miracles bringing one nation out of a another nation with such tremendous miracles, signs, wonders, war, a mighty hand and outstretched arm, and terrifying phenomena, as God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?” Yes, the 10 occurrences that Moses listed correspond to the 10 plagues figuratively, which we alluded to earlier, but remember Moses is prophesying about the future hear, the final days, so he’s connecting us to the 10 sefirot of the Tree-of-life reality of the 10 Commandments, which will shortly follow this verse in the very next chapter, and also to what G-d will do for us yet again in the final days and final 10 years leading up to the final redemption in order to bring us back into the fold.
Devarim 4:35 “You are the ones who have been shown, so that you will know that God is the Supreme Being, and there is none besides Him.” As we’ve made the point in previous articles, G-d didn’t make the plagues to impress Pharaoh; they were to awaken us.
Devarim 4:38, the prophecy continues, “He will drive away before you nations that are greater and stronger than you, so as to bring you to their lands, and give them to you as a heritage, as today.”
And then one more time Moses tells us in Devarim 4:39, “Realize it today and ponder it in your heart: God is the Supreme Being in heaven above and on the earth beneath—there is no other.” There are 5 instances within these verses of Devarim chapter 4 where a phrase has numerical value of either 2017 or 2018, and two more, making 7, if we consider 2019, the year following 5778 when the Tree-of-life reality will be in effect, beginning with the verse 4:1 “Now Israel, listen to the rules and the laws…” (Israel Shema…”
From the prophecies of chapter 4, we receive the Tree-of-life through the 10 Commandments (Utterances) in chapter 5 and then in chapter 6, we hear the words listen Israel again, especially in the first 6 words of the “Shema Israel” followed by the 42 words of the Shema’s first paragraph.
In the verse just prior to the Shema, which also begins with “listen Israel,” tying the meaning of these verses together, Moses, speaking to our generation (“children’s children”) tells us that if we remain in awe of G-d and do what was proscribed, things will go well for us in the land flowing with milk and honey as G-d, Lord of our fathers, promised us.
“Shema Israel Adonai Elohenu Adonai Echad”
“Listen, Israel, God is our Lord, God is One”
The first and last word of the famous verse, the words with enlarged final letters, Shema – Echad (ShMA EchD), add up numerically plus the 1 (kolel) to 424, Moshiach Ben David, and the enlarged letters, are Ayin and Dalet, spelling “witness” as the sages have told us, but they also have the numerical values 70 and 4 respectively, signifying the coming of Moshiach and the end of the 4th exile at the end of the 70 years from Israel’s statehood in 1948 and also the end of the 4th exile that began 1948 years earlier in 70 CE with the destruction of the Second Holy Temple.
There are innumerable secrets embedded in the Shema and in the this portion, and this article is way too long as it is, so we will only point out a few for now.
Right off the bat it’s well know that the Shema’s first paragraph is connected to the 42-Letter name of G-d, but if we observe the 5 verses that comprise the 42 words of the Shema’s first paragraph, we see that they all begin with a Vav(V) and end with a letter Caf(C), which together for Caf-Vav or 26, the numerical value of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH) and also that the first and last letters of the paragraph thus also form Caf-Vav as do the first 21 and last 21 words of the paragraph. But Vav-Caf sofit as its actually written in these 8 instances has the numerical value of 506, as in that of the first line (7 letters) of the 42-Letter Name matrix (Ana B’koach), and the word for “unconditional love” which is the point of it all.
We mentioned the splitting of the paragraph into two halves as we find that the words and word values for Brit MB or Covenant of 42 are found right in the center and initials of those first 21 words with the kolel of 1 add up to 358, Mashiach. And it is also in the very midpoint of the 42 Letters of the 42-Letter Name (Shem MB) that we find the word Brit (BRYT ), or Covenant, spelled out as well. And lets not forget that the Covenant of Abraham was called the Covenant of Halves.
Moreover it in the 4th verse of this 42-word first paragraph of the Shema that we’re told to “Bind [these words] as a sign on your hand, and let them be an emblem on your head,” which is the reason not only do the tefillin contain this paragraph of the Torah, but that there are 21 YHVH’s in the hand tefillin and 21 YHVH’s in the head tefillin for a total of 42. And this means that each of the two tefillin connects to the numerical value of 21 x 26 = 546, which is the sum total of the initials of the 10 sefirot (dimensions).
But what’s more, if we search out words beginning with Vav (V) and connect them to the very next word ending with Caf (C) sofit within the first paragraph of the Shema, we find 13 more V-C combinations making a total of 21 within that first paragraph (42-words) of the Shema, and thus once again 21 x 26 = 546, which is the sum total of the initials of the 10 sefirot (dimensions).
And this is the secret of this 45th Torah portion, Va’etchanan, to help us and to show us repeatedly how to reconnect with the 10 sefirot, the Tree-of-Life reality
Shabbat Shalom

If you signed up for the Daily Zohar and I highly recommend that you do, then you would have received the translation below with its Aramaic counterpart in your in box this morning. I just want to point out a couple things concerning the sign of the covenant mentioned below that relate to our generation.
The sign, אות has a gematria value of 407, just like the 6th word in the Torah ואת, and the square root of 407 is 20.17424 or graphically the year 2017 coupled with 424, the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David. And if that is not enough of a sign, the full gematria value (standard, ordinal, and kolel for the 7 letters) of Sign of the Covenant, אות ברית, is 1109, whose square root is 33.30, as in the 3330 years (66.6 jubilee years) from 2448 to 5778, which begins in 2017, and ends in 2018, the same year in the Hebrew Calendar that G-d established his Covenant with Abraham.
There is so much light in every word of Rabbi Shimon, who dictated these portions, (the Tikunei Zohar), that we’re translating and publishing for the first time ever, and while they all connect to the beginning, Bereshit, he said that they were for our generation, the one at the end of days. From the simple light shining forth from only two words that we elaborated on, you can see why and see the importance of connecting to it on a daily basis.
Blessings to all,
Ezra
From the Daily Zohar #8:
Those that keep the sign, אות (means also letter), of the covenant, ברית (word= מילה ) , (also means circumcision), on the eighth day and also keep the Shabbat in its time, which is two thousands Ama (Ama is a measuring unit) in each direction and to four sides equal to eight thousands. The sign of the covenant and the sign of Shabbat are the two Yods form the unification name of upper and lower Y-A-H-D-V-N-H-Y, יא-הד-ונ-הי.
This was explained before that every person found within the two signs and on them it was said, “You shall not take the Mother form the sons..”
If you ask why a person need both signs, and the answer is because the Shechina that is the Yod from אדני ADNY can not be here without the Holy One, Bless be He, that is the Yod of YHVH. A man should be careful every day to keep this unification. Weekday with the Tefillin and Shabbat.
Shabbat is the female and the sign of the covenant, which is the male of Zeir Anpin, letter Vav of the name.
The explanation is that before creation, the Endless Light filled up all existence and there was no place to create new. There was no beginning or end. When the creator desired to emanate new emanations and create the worlds, he restricted his light from a middle point, which is Malchut and the energy of judgment revealed itself as a result of this restriction. The light distant itself from this point and a void was made. Inside this void all the worlds were created.
A line from the Endless came down into the void, the vessel, to sustain it. The light in the judgement level is אדני and supernal light is יֿ+ה+ו+ה , The two letter י represent the two aspects of Light that we need to keep connecting with actions that continues the Light. Maintain the connection using spiritual tools and act of sharing, giving in all of their aspects.
On those that don’t keep the connection it said “You shall send away the mother”. They lose the connection to the upper levels and can’t be called sons.

If you’ve been reading our articles, you may feel like you’ve been collecting pieces of the giant cosmic puzzle, so here are few more key ones.
Coincidentally, or not, it was on L’ag B’Omer 2009 that we began sending out the first ever published translations of the Tikunei Zohar through our Daily Zohar Email Project and began it with the portion of the Idra Zuta, where we find Rabbi Shimon’s death bed revelations about the jubilee year and about the geula in the end of days.
