All light emanates from the letter Yud(Y).The first line of the Ana B’koach (42-Letter Name) has the numerical value 506, and since the 42-Letter Name of G-d is divided into 14 triplets and there are 506 occurrences of these triplets in the Torah (see The Genesis Prayer), it would appear this is no coincidence.
We’ve mentioned repeatedly that we know from the sages that 506 is the numerical value of “Ahavat Chinam,” unconditional love. And as Zion just pointed on in his comment on our last article that 22 x 23 = 506. What he left unsaid, but is well aware, is that 22 represents the 22 letters (energy bundles) of the alef-bet and 23 is the numerical value of ray (TzYV) or radiation, as in the light of the Shechina. Thus 506 is also the radiation of the 22 letters or energy building blocks that Abraham Avinu tells us in his Sefer Yetzira that the universe is constructed with.
Moreover, the complete numerical value, including the kolel, for radiation of the Shechina (TzYV H’ShCYNH)is 424, the same as that of Mashiach Ben David (the Messiah). Keep in mind that the tzaddikim have told us that it is the understanding of the Ana B’koach (42-Letter Name) that will help bring about the Geula (final redemption) and the Moshiach.
What does this have to do with the letter Yud(Y) and the essence of 10?
Let’s follow the trail of light. According to the Zohar, Peace (Shalom) is the vessel for everything. So far so good; on a simple level, without peace in a marriage or a nation, there is no vessel for holding wealth, health, happiness, fulfillment, in a word, light.
Now let’s take it a step further. The complete numerical value (standard plus ordinal) of Shalom (ShLVM) is 376 + 52 – 4 (kolel for the 4 letters) = 424, the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David (the Messiah) again. So far so good again; the completion of the vessel of Peace leads to the Mashiach (Messiah).
So what does the Moshiach lead to?
So now, let’s take the complete numerical value of Mashiach Ben David (MShYCh Bn DVD) and see that it is 424 + 82 = 506. Thus the presence of the Moshiach leads to unconditional love and the full emanation of the radiation of the Shechina through the 22 letters of the Alef-Bet, in other words, the revelation of the Tree-of-Life reality that is defined by the 10 sefirot (dimensions) and the 22 paths that connect them. The difference between that reality and ours is that we operate in the lowest level of that existence and perceive everything as finite and limited, while in the time of the Moshiach, our perception will open to comprehend the infinite, and we’ll realize there are no limitations, physical or spiritual.
By the way Shalom and Mashiach have the same ordinal value, 52, tying them both spiritually to the emanation of manifestation, known as Ban(52), or Malchut. Meaning that to achieve that ultimate Tree-of-life reality, the vessel for Peace and the establishment of the Moshiach will have to start with our work on the physical plane.
But what of the letter Yud(Y)?
The letter Yud(Y) of numerical value 10 is the first letter of the Tetragrammaton, the ineffable Name of G-d (YHVH) and is always associated with the sefira of Wisdom, Chochma. We’ve previously discussed its associations with the 10 Commandments (Utterances), 10 Plagues, the 10 generations of Adam, the 10 Songs, which are all just manifestations of the 10 sefirot (dimensions) of the Tree-of-Life. Indeed, all our mathematics is based on the base-10 decimal system, an those 10 dimensions that the Ancient Kabbalists wrote about are the same 10 dimensions that modern physicists swear comprise the greater structure of the universe.
Nevertheless, the letter Yud (Y) is spelled YVD, of numerical value 20 and when we spell out those letters yet again, forming the 3rd iteration of the letter Yud, they add up to (10+20+476) = 506.
Y
YVD
YVD VYV DLT
OK, we know from the tzaddikim and the Zohar and from the modern mathematicians and physicists that the 10 sefirot (dimensions) expand by the power of 10: 10-100-1000… So considering what we’ve just learned, as the light(energy) of the letter (Y) expands exponentially from 1 to 1000 (Keter) it equates to 506, which is equivalent to the full emanation of all 22 letters and to the emanation of unconditional love and to the manifestation of Mashiach Ben David.
There are 13 letters in this 3-part expansion and 13 is the numerical value of Ahava (love) and Echad (one), as in “G-d is One.” It is not a coincidence that the letter Yud (Y) is the first letter of G-d’s name (YHVH), as the entire name emanates from the letter Yud(Y), and note that this full emanation totals 42 letters in its 3 iterations, forming the Upper 42-Letter Name of G-d.
But back to the simpler expansion of the letter Yud (Y), which totaled 506 numerically. The ordinal value of the 13 letters in the 3 iterations of the letter Yud(Y) is 110, as in the numerical value of Nes (NS, meaning miracles), and as in 10 for each 11 sefirot in the complete Tree-of-life (including Da’at), which incidentally is spelled out in 42 letters. Thus the complete value of the 3 iterations of the letter Yud(Y), is 616, the exact numerical value of H’TVRH, “The Torah,” and also 616 is the number of times the exact name Moses (MShH) is written in the Torah.
So what’s in a letter?
From now on every time you see the letter Yud(Y), especially in the Torah and especially in the Name of G-d (YHVH) you should see the full manifestation of its energy, its radiation, until it encapsulates you and the world and brings about the Moshiach, Unconditional Love, and the Tree-of-Life reality, B”H soon. The message here is that that energy (cosmic imprint) is ever present and only needs to be manifest. We can tap into it at any time.

It is said that Purim will be the only holiday that we’ll celebrate after the final redemption, but if all the holidays are based on cosmic windows, what separates Purim in the grand scheme of cosmic time? We read about Purim in the Book of Ester so that’s where we must search for the answer.
Yes, Purim is about defeating Amelak, our individual and collective doubts, about unifying ourselves as we did in Shushan heeding Mordechai and Ester’s calls, and about revealing the concealed, but it doesn’t seem to explain why we’ll still be celebrating this event that occurred thousands of years ago and not all the others. Unless…
Unless, the events of Purim as laid out in the Megilat Ester were to reoccur today, at least metaphorically and spiritually. What if these events that occurred at the end of the 70 years of Babylonian exile were to repeat themselves at the end of the 70 years of our present exile?
Yes, this current exile has lasted 1948 years since 70 CE, but only 70 years since the establishment of Israel as a nation in 1948 CE. Of course the final 70 year time span is based on Rav Yehuda Halevi Ashlog (HaSulam), and other well established predictions of the coming of Mashiach and the final redemption in 5778 (2018 ce), but we’ve covered that in a hundred other articles and books like The Divine Calendar and There’s Nothing Random About the Universe already.
That would indeed give us a reason to keep celebrating Purim; it would be celebrated as the final revelation of the concealed light. It would also mean that we actually have a blueprint of events that are to unfold in the final 8 years.
Every bit of the Tanakh is encoded, and we spend most of articles helping decode the first 5 Books of it, the Torah, but the Megilat Ester (The Book of Ester) is one of the most thoroughly encoded ones, with so many concealed Names of G-d, names of sefirot (the 10 dimensions) etc that it must surely hold some clues for us, something pointing to today.
Let’s look at the special sequence near the end of the reading of the 10 chapters of Ester, where the reader must recite the 10 names of the evil Haman’s children that are killed, in a single breath. It occurs in 3 symmetrical sequential verses of the 32 verses in Chapter 9. The number 32 always hints to hidden Tanakh wisdom, as it references the 32 Paths of Wisdom that comprise the structure of the Tree-of-Life and the number 9 also references wisdom as the 9th sefira (dimension) of that Tree is the sefira of Chochma (Wisdom).
That said, we know these deaths represent the removal of evil (klippot) and Amelak (doubt) from the 10 sefirot. And as we mentioned in a pervious article, it was in the 70th verse of the Torah that G-d punished the snake and told him that he’ll eat dust for all the days in his life, meaning that his life was finite. Perhaps the snake’s demise will be found at 70 years. It was after all after 70 years of Abraham’s life that G-d made his Covenant with him in 2018 (HC), which is analogous to 2018 CE (5778 HC). When the snake (NChSh) dies, Moshiach will live, as they both share the same gematria, 358.
As it happens that 70th verse in which G-d punished the snake for his part in separating man from the Tree-of-life reality was at Bereshit 3:14, and as we’ve explained in other articles and in The Genesis Prayer, when we divide the number 9 by the small gematria of the 42-letter Name of G-d we get:
9/.123049.. =73.1415777
which is 70 + 3.14… or 70 + Pi
And thus we can see how the 42-Letter Name (Ana B’koach) is integrally connected to this verse, and the prophecies that through its’ understanding will come the geula (final redemption) in 5777-5778.
And as it just so happens, 73.1415778 = 2 x 36.5708 and 5708 is the year Israel became a nation, 70 years before 5778, fulfilling the 70-year period proscribed by the Zohar.
70 years is a very significant period in Biblical history (as explained in The Divine Calendar) but it’s in the 70th chapter of the Torah that the 10 Commandments (Utterances) were given in 2448, when we last stood at the threshold of the Tree-of-Life reality, 66.6 jubilee years ago.
But back to the Megilat Ester, in this section of the 10 sons, the word v’et (VET) precedes each of the 10 names. VET is the 4th word in the Torah and has the numerical value 407, whose square root just happens to be 20.17424, or if we were to apply Number Theory and break it up, we’d have possibly the year 2017 and 424, the numerical value of Moshiach Ben David. So in the reading of the story, this connection is made 10 times, once for each of the 10 sefirot (dimensions) connected within in a single breath.
Interestingly enough, the Hebrew word for letter or sign, Ot (EVT), is found exactly 10 times in the entire Torah, and 22 times in the entire Tanakh, corresponding to the 22 letters in the Hebrew Alef-bet.
We know from the sages that the last letters of phrases in Tanakh point to the future, and so when we find that the sum of the 10 names in the 11 words conjoined by the articles VET equals 376, the numerical value for Peace (Shalom), we can take heart. And that the 11th is Alef is quite significant for a new beginning as well.
The first letters also reveal important encoding and information for us. In this case, we start with the alef from the word (EYSh) that precedes the first VET and is an integral part of the 10-sefirot listed sequence in the Book. The collective first letters sum to 256, the numerical value of Devarim (Deuteronomy), the last Book of the Torah and also of the Name Aaron, Moses’ brother and High Priest, and the only person associated with the written word Moshiach in the Torah.
And while 256 = 28 or 44, interestingly enough, the first 8 of those letters, add up to 248, the numerical value of the Book Bamidbar (Numbers), and of Abraham.
Be that as it may, we’ve discussed in prior articles that the Torah is constructed of exactly (600,000 – 408) component letters and that 408 times the letter vav of numerical value 6 equals 2448, the year of the exile from Egypt and the reception of the Torah at Sinai when we all last had the opportunity to receive the Tree-of-Life, 66.6 jubilee years ago. And since the Tikunei Zohar tells us that each brush stroke of a letter is equivalent to a letter vav (6) we can see why multiplying the missing 408 by 6 is so valid. As an aside we can see why the 7 collective strokes on the 2 differing letter Shins (Sh) embossed on the tefillin add up (7 x 6) to 42, as in the 42 Tetragrammatons (YHVH) within the tefillin, and as in the 42-Letter Name of G-d that preceded Creation.
Nevertheless, the letters in the article VET, permute to EVT, the Hebrew word for “letter” and 407 just happens to be 1 less that 408, making 408 one more than 407, and thus the numerical value 408 can be viewed at “1 EVT” of “E EVT” meaning “1 letter,” the letter Alef(E). So rather than the Torah needing 408 mysterious component letters to complete it in the time of Moshiach, it may only need 1 letter, the letter Alef, as in the first letter of the 42-letter name of G-d. Moreover, the word Chat (ChT) of numerical value 408 can mean “one,” or “single.”
And so, it’s surely no coincidence that the final 3 letters of the single breath passage in discussion (TzTE) add up to 408, or that the word they come from (VYTzTE) has the numerical value 424, that of Moshiach Ben David.
And surely, it’s not a coincidence that the last 3 letters preceding the single breath passage are EVT (407) yet again, part of the word Me’ot (MEVT), meaning the “signals (signs).” This word could also mean “from the signs” or “from the letters” or even “hundreds,” as was used literally in the story. It permutes to v’emet (VEMT) “and the truth.”
So this passage begins with Truth (Emet), a kabalistic synonym for both Torah and the 42-Letter Name of G-d that begins with Elef, ends with Tav and has 40 (M) letters in between. Then the passage proceeds through 54 letters and ends with Moshiach Ben David.
The 54 letters are significant because the 9 brush strokes in the Tetragrammaton (YHVH) at a value of 6 each add up numerically to 54, representative of the running and returning Light though the 27 letters. They also hint to 5778 in that the sum of all the positive integers through 107 = 5778 while 54 x 107 is also equal to 5778, but be that as it may, the sum of the 12 words and names in the passage (excluding the 10 VET’s) is 5805, or 5778 plus 27, representing the 27 letters of the complete Alef-bet. And kabbalistically, all 27 letters are found bound up in the single letter Alef (E), the seed of the entire alef-bet, thus referring back to the “1 letter” to complete the Torah in the days of Moshiach.
The 3 verses (Ester 9:7-9) are symmetrical, a rare occurrence in Tanakh, further distinguishing them: the first letter of each is Vav; the first letter of the 2nd word in each s Pe; the first letter of the next word in each is Vav again; then D-E-E; then the first letter of the 5th word in each is Vav again; and then the first letter of the 6th word in each is Alef(E). So the symmetrical Vavs add up to 9 and once again 9 x 6 = 54, which leaves the symmetrical PE, which can either spell the letter Pe itself, or stand for Petach Eliahu (PTCh ELYHV), “opening Elijah” or “opening to G-d (YHV)”, whose numerical value is 540 or 54 x 10, and when the kolel of 1 is added, it’s 541, the numerical value of Israel.
In the Torah everything has a special purpose. There are 10 large letters in the Torah, connecting us to Binah (the upper world); 6 small letters, connecting us to Zeir Anpin of malchut of Zeir Anpin (the final channel into our lives); there are 10 places with 32 dots, connecting us to the 32 Paths of Wisdom that connect the 10 Sefirot and that according to Rabbi Chaim Vital of blessed memory make up the 42-letter Name; and there are 6 letters at the top of the column that are not vavs (V) and thus do not connect to Zeir Anpin like the rest of the Torah, and instead they connect us to H’Mashiach, the Messiah, of the same numerical value. All together there are 10 + 6+ 32 + 6, or 54 special letters in the Torah.
Moreover, with the 10 VETs in (Ester 9:7-9), we have 30 + 54 = 84 letters, the numerical value of the Hebrew word Pad, meaning “redemption,” and as explained by the tzaddikim, this is the fusion (42+42) of the upper and lower 42-Letter Names, the understanding of which they say will bring about the geula, the final redemption. Pad (PD) is also the initials (Pe and Dalet)of the first two of Haman’s sons listed.
It’s all about the Tree-of-Life. The 10 VETS, all connecting to Moshiach Ben David (424) manifestation in 2017, represent the 10 Sefirot, and the 22 words in the passage represent the 22 pathways between them, completing the 32 Paths of Wisdom.
And the 84 letters + 22 words + 1 breath of G-d totals 107, so as hinted by the tzaddikim and the encoding in the Book of Ester, if we align our consciousness to remove the negativity from ourselves and our world throughout the 10 sefirot, this embedded technology will serve to bring about the final redemption, which is all the more reason that Purim will be the only holiday that we’ll be celebrating in the near future.
And if we add the names of the 5 principle characters in the Book of Ester–Ester,(ESTR) Ahasverosh(EChShVRVSh),. Mordechai(MRDCY), Daniel(DNYEL)and Haman,(HMN)–the 22 letters in their combined names add up to 1946 and since the Zohar describes a final 72 year period before the final redemption, we once again arrive at the year 2018 CE, or 5778 HC.
The real answer to the question why Purim will be the only holiday (Chag) after the final redemption is that according to the Zohar and Rav Ashlag’s commentary, portion Ki Tisa (11:95) the word Chag (feast, holiday) is derived from the Aramaic Chaga, meaning breaking, that is “to execue judgement upon you,” and since the cosmic holidays were all desigend to mitigate the judgements upon us, they will no longer be necessary once we’ve achieved the Tree-of-life consciousness and live without judgment. Purim is designed, not to help us with our world (Malchut) ruled by time, but to help us navigate the universe beyond time, beyond the appointed time, the Tree-of Life.

A couple weeks ago we pointed out some very odd alignments of the DOW Jones closings and the Jewish holidays this past 6 months and we suggested keeping an eye out for more.
Well, there was no Jewish holiday yesterday, and on the 42nd day of the Obama presidency, the DOW closed down 4.2%, quite suggestive of the 42-Letter Name of G-d, the Shem Mem-Bet.
But wait, that was right at the beginning of the hillula (death anniversary) of Moshe Rabeinu (Moses), one of the most powerful dates in the Hebrew calendar and in cosmic energy. And the DOW didn’t actually fall 42% as it said in the headlines, but 42.4% as it said in the article, and as we all know by now 424 is the gematria value of Mashiach Ben David.
So now it makes sense. G-d is still sending us messages. Last night, I read a news headline that our current DOW was pacing the decline of the depression month by month and lost point by point. It mentioned that the Dow had peaked on September 3, 1929 (erev Rosh Chodesh Elul, 5689) and eventually hit rock bottom in July 1932 at 42.22.
That was a double message for me. The 42.22 turning point in the market/depression was an obvious significant connection to the 42-Letter Name and further to the 22 letters of the alef-bet and to 422, the number seventy (70) so associated with the Divine Calendar.
But September 3, 1929 was exactly 30 years before my birth date, so the message became personal. Perhaps the universe was just trying to catch my attention? It worked.
I don’t know what the full message is yet, but I do know that rather than bringing us all closer together, this economic/financial crises is dividing and separating us more with each passing day.
With the looming huge financial burden of Eastern Europe weighing heavily on the Western European Banks and countries, the worsening crises is tearing the recently forged European Community a part Community. A confidential report shows them $16.8 trillion in the whole.
Internationally, it’s becoming every man for himself, as all regions and countries start battening down the hatches and halting the already slowed to a trickle imports.
Riots and huge protests, not always peaceful, are occurring all over the world. With everyone turning their backs on one another, it one be long before the knives come out. And many of those are now nuclear tipped.
Companies, farmers, drug manufactures, and distributors are cutting corners to survive; that can’t be good.
Scam artists are proliferating, taking advantage of people’s last dollars, smirking when they get caught. What was the purpose of Bernie Madoff? To sew doubt and distrust amongst us. No one trusts the system anymore, least of all those in it, which is why there’s no credit in the market place. And thanks to Bernie Madoff, and his feeder alliances we don’t trust our friends and brethern anymore either.
Within the USA, no one with corporate responsibility (an oxymoron for sure) is taking Obama seriously and are therefore pummeling the markets with his every statement. Rather than unify the country as he promised, he’s alienated 40% or more of the country and is trying to push through a very liberal agenda at a time when we don’t have the money for it. In his rush for redistribution of wealth, he is pitting rich against poor, upper middle class against lower middle class, and the only end result can be that we’ll all end up poor. Unified in poverty, just like in the depression.
Obama has, though, found $900 Million to give to the Palestinians (ie Hamas) to rebuild (their offensive weapon stockpile). That’s unity. That’s money well spent, our money. That will bring Hamas and the Palestinians to the peace table.
Every day things get worse, and when we can least afford it, the states and municipalities, all fending for themselves, are raising taxes and cutting support programs to make up for their shortfalls.
So what’s the connection to Moses’ Hillula?
Moses was a unifier. And as we’ll see in our upcoming installment on the 10 Utterances, he brought us all to the highest level (keter) and it was only in his absence, that divisiveness and doubt brought everyone back down to the lowest levels, and forced us all to begin again.
Moses cared about everyone and made sure everyone was taken care of, that a system was put into place to empower everyone and to imbue all of them with the knowledge and Light-force of G-d. He made sure everyone understood the rules of the game, that they abided by them, and knew and received the consequences for not.
We’ve long since forgotten all those, even if we religiously read the Torah every week. No matter, the universe hasn’t and the consequences continue whether we understand the rules or not, whether we ignore the signs or not.
There will be more signs, personal ones for each of us, and global ones. And we’ll keep pointing them out as we see them, but it’s only through our actions that we’ll make a difference.
Harder times are coming. That pace we’re on that mimics the one from 1929-1932 has another year and half to go before hitting bottom at 42.22, when the DOW lost 89% in total. By the way, that market had peaked on Sept 3 in 5689, 89 years before 5778. This time around that won’t be the worst of it. This time around, nations, terrorist organizations, communities, and individuals are armed to the teeth. This time around bad news and its spiraling effects spread with the speed-of-light thanks to the new technologies we’ve developed. In the past few recessions, we’ve propped ourselves back up with new bubbles; this time, we have to wonder if there is any air left to fill them.
Still, it doesn’t have to be this way. If there wasn’t hope for us, the universe wouldn’t be sending us signs and messages, smuggling them through the thickening curtains of illusions. It would simply leave us to our own devices.
Bottom Line: We must wake up before it’s too late!
The same choice that the Israelites who stood at Mt Sinai 66.6 jubilee years ago faced, awaits us: the blissful eternity of the tree-of-life reality or the endless world of illusion and self-inflicted punishment. Most of them chose wrong, and G-d and the H’Moshiach (the Messiah) were standing before them performing miracles on their behalf.
We’re still in the plague stage. Look around, are people’s faith growing stronger? Is your own? That’s what matters most. We must use the signs, learn the codes of the universe, and grow spiritually in these darkest moments if we are to reach our Sinai.
Moses will be there for us if we are there for one another.

For a long time most of the world has envied America. For a long time most of the world emulated America. For a long time most of the world took advantage of America. Most of the world hates America.
To cause so much of a reaction, there must be a lot of Light in America. That’s a spiritual law.
But you can’t see Light unless it’s encased in darkness. That’s also a physical law.
America and the Tetragrammaton, G-d’s ineffable Name, YHVH
Just 232 years ago, America created a revoltion and a government of, by and for the people, a truly revolutionary concept. It’s fitting that 232 is the total value of the full four aspects of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH, Av, Sag, Mah, and Ban)
Av (YVD HY VYV HY) is composed of Ayin (70) – Bet (2)
Sag (YVD HY VEV HY) is composed of Samech (60) – Gimmel (3)
Mah (YVD HE VEV HE) is composed of Mem (40) – Hey (5)
Ban (TYD HH VV HH) is composed of Bet (2) – Nun (50)
The two lower aspects Mah and Ban represents the union of Zeir Anpin (the 6 sefirot/dimensions of Heaven) and Malchut (our world), and thus aptly the 7 lines (sefirot) of Shem Mem-Bet, the 42-Letter Name, named thusly because the letters Mem (40) and Bet (2) = 42 in Gematria, the ancient science of letter valuation based on energy inherent in the Hebrew letters as first explained to us by Abraham, the Patriarch in his Book of Formation, the Sefer Yetzirah.
Meanwhile, the first letters of Av-Sag (Ayin-Samech), the two upper aspects, add up to 130, the numerical value of the two synonymous words and thus concepts of Sinai and Sulam (ladder) thought by the sages to originate from the center of the Shem Mem-bet. You must bear in mind that the 42-Letter name, while arranged 2-dimensionally in our world as a 6-letter by 7 line matrix, is really a multi-dimensional one in the upper worlds.
The combined numerical value of the representative letters (Ayin-Samech-Mem-Bet) is 70+60+40+2 = 172 and when we add 1 for the kolel, we get 173, as in 173 keys that the Zohar, the Book of Splendor written by Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai around 130 CE, tells us were given to Moses, which is just a figurative way of saying he was given the secrets of the 42-Letter Name (the Ana B’Koach), which has the small gematria value of 173.
The remaining letters (Bet-Gimmel-Hey-Nun) have a total numerical value of (2+3+5+50) = 60, the value of Samech, the letter hidden within the center of the Shem mem-bet, and the number of years of Israel’s existence as a nation when the USA reached 232 years of age (in 2008 CE).
And interestingly enough, if we use the squaring principles of the Arizal and Rabbi Chaim Vittal of blessed memory, the four aspects of the Tetragrammaton sum up to 5742, and then if we add 26 for the original Tetragrammaton they emanated from, as the Arizal was apt to do, we get 5768 or 2008 CE.
Alternatively, when we add up the spelled out gematria sofit values of Ayin-Samech-Mem-Bet and include the kolel of 16 for the 4 YHVH, we get 2448, as in 2448 HC, the year the Torah was given at Mt Sinai, 2320 years (or 232 x 10 sefirot) earlier.
Then when we add up the spelled out gematria sofit values of Ayin-Samech-Mem-Bet together with their second letters Bet-Gimmel-Hey-Nun and the kolel for the number of letters in their spelled out names and also in the 39 letters of the 4 aspects of the Tetragrammaton, we get 3760 HC (0-1 CE).
Now, the reason it’s said the letter Samech is hidden within the center of the 42-Letter name (Ana B’Koach) is that the value of the 21 letters through the midpoint of the 42 Letters add up to 1833 and there are 1833 samechs in the entire Torah.
But here is a deep secret: The value of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH) is 26, which in Hebrew is Caf-vav (CV) and when we spell out Caf-vav for 3 iterations, we get (C+V) +(CP + VYV )+((CP +PE) + (VYV+YVD+VYV)) or (20 + 6) +(820 + 22) + (901 + 64) = 1833, so in the center of the 42-Letter Name is the ladder (sulam) to the YHVH, as has been told to us by chazal.
Let there be Light
In the 3rd verse in the Torah, G-d said “Let there be Light.” and the numerical value of that verse is 1729, which is significant because there are exactly 1729 words of numerical value 26, corresponding to the value of the Tetragrammaton, YHVH.
We have proven time and again that the Torah could not have been written by man, 3330 years ago, or even today–it’s just too mathematically intricate. And contrary to popular secular belief the Torah was not written by several authors over hundreds of years. It was produced and given to us instantaneously, complete in all its glory, which is why the moment the thought of Light entered the Torah, there were 1729 instances of it’s reflection throughout the 5 Books.
So after establishing the Light throughout the Torah, in the next verse, G-d establishes that Light is good, but also sets up a destiny that would happen 5536 years later, in the 111th jubilee year (Biblical 50-year period). We mention this because 111 is the numerical value of Alef, the first Hebrew letter, representing a beginning. And a very fitting one, since this destiny was hinted at in the 4th verse of the Torah and using the prophesied date of 5778 for the geula and coming of Moshiach, He would arrive in the 4th jubilee year after the 111th.
Genesis 1:4. “God saw that the Light was good, and God divided between the Light and the darkness.”
America was founded in 1776, a number that is one more than 1775, the total sum of the 27 letters in the Hebrew alphabet (the alef-bet including the 5 final letters), but perhaps more significantly 1776 is the total value of the 4th verse in the Torah (Bible).
It’s in the 4’s
So given these odd connections, let’s contemplate this next mathematical link between the 1st and 4th verses: 73 – 42 = 31, which corresponds to the value of El (G-d, 31) and to the 31 verses of the Torah’s first chapter. And then there is the equation 2701 – 903 = (1776 +22) = 1798 and 1798/31 = 58 = (100-42).
In Vayeshev, Joseph (The Light) and one of Jacob’s 12 sons has the dream alluding to them final redemption and is sold to the Israelites (the Arabs and/or Persians) partially because of it. First they wanted to kill Joseph (the Light) then they sold him, then he was brought down to Egypt (Mizra’im), known as “the darkness,” where he shined, faded, and kept hope alive for 210 years until the 2448, when the Torah was given. We learn right away in Chapter 37 that Joseph was 17 years old when he had his dream of Mashiach and the end of days, and 17 is the value of tov (good), bringing us back to verse Genesis 1:4 and the Light is good,”and if we count backwards 17 years from the final year 2018, we get 2001, as in 9/11 2001 when the bubble first burst on our illusions and the countdown to the final days began. And again, where did this happen? To better understand the process of these last 17 years for America and the world please see our post titled “Separation.” As we head into the darker days, this serves to remind us that the final outcome for those that believe in the Light is tov (good).
We could go on and on, but suffice to say, there are reasons for everything, even for the darkness, and candles of light that were lit 5768 years ago will glow ever more intense the darker it gets. The candles were lit for America, the country that for all its many faults, was created in, and for the most part lived by, the premises of freedom. And thanks to America, people throughout the world have the freedom to choose the light. For all their hatred of America, if it were not for America most of the world would live under oppressive dictatorships, modern day Egyptian Pharaohs, and not know freedom at all.
Now, it’s up to each of us in these ever darker times to remember to light our own candles and that “The Light is Good.”

It had rained for 2 days straight and with the flood water rising in my backyard, I was reading the Zohar on parsha Noach last night, and not surprisingly there are many insights there into the nature of water.
What is in the water we drink? How long can we go without a glass of water. When we fast on Yom Kippur and Tish B’av what are we depriving ourselves of, restricting from. Is it just from our physical desires?
Genesis (Bereshit) 7:4 “And it rained upon the earth for 40 days and 40 nights…”
From Exodus (Shemot) 24:18 ” And Moshe entered into the midst of the cloud…Moshe came to the cloud where Elohim was…Moshe was on the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights.”
What was so important about there being 40 days and 40 nights? If the Torah had told us only about 40 days or 40 nights we would have inferred the other without a second thought.
Why was there a front side 40 and a backside 40?
Both the rains the clouds are comprised wholly of water, the essence of life. Moreover, they are both water from above, from on high if you will.
Mayim, water is spelled MYM which each mem (M) having a value of 40, a front side 40 and a backside 40.
In between the two mems (MM) is the letter yud (Y), which mimics the actual physical construction of the water molecule, H2O, two hydrogen atoms and one Oxygen one in the center. If we assume a divine plan to life, then we can assume that the HOH is spiritually connected and represented by HVH, the Hebrew equivalent. And then if we add that to mayim, MYM, we get MEM (MM) and YHVH, the Tetragrammaton.
Now it just so happens the the letter Mem (MM) in gematria sofit (final letter) is 640 and YHVH is always 26, so (MM and YHVH) can very well equal 640 + 26 = 666. And thus 666 can be the symbol of life giving waters of Hashem (God).
Moreover, the spelled-out letter Mem (MM) has the ordinal value of 26, again that of the YHVH, the ineffable Name of G-d.
The actual molecular structure would be M(YHVH)M, and it would help explain why there is no physical life without water.
Why is the very first thing we learn after hearing that “G-d created Heaven and Earth” in Genesis 1:1 that in Genesis 1:2 “He hovered above the waters?” We can write endlessly as to what this means, but the 21st word in the Torah is “the waters, ” mentioned even before “the Light,” stressing its importance.
This would also explain the extraordinary similarities between water (MYM) and KIng (MLC), both of which have the numerical value of 90, and the ordinal value of 36, which together are each 90 + 36 =126, which is also 126 = 3 x 42, as in the 42-Letter Name of G-d (Shem Mem-bet). another secret of 126 is that it is also 100 + 26, or the value of keter, the highest spiritual level and 26, the YHVH.
Moreover, the gematria atbash (reverse alphabet cipher) of water, MYM is YMY, is of numerical value 60, while the gematria atbash of Melech, king (MLC) is (YCL) or 60 as well. And the small (gematria katan) value of each is also the same, 4+1+4 = 9 = 4+3+2. And similarly in E’bG’d gematria, where each letter is switched for the next highest ordinal value letter, the values of the two 3-letter words become 50+20+50 = 120 = 50+40+30.
And while there are other similarities we’ll just note that the gematria of both words is also 400+100+400 = 900 = 400 + 300 + 200, with 900 being the value of the final final letter in the Alef-bet (alphabet), Zaddi, who also has the value of 90, which as you recall was the original simple value of both water and king.
There are no other word pairs with such similar spiritual structures, and of course, Hashem is known as the King, the King of Kings. In kabbalistic spirituality, the more alike something is in form the shorter the distance between them and the stronger the ties/bonds between them. Between King and Water there’s very little distance, one hovering above the other.
But back to water itself, If we spell out the letters in mayim, we get MM, YVD, MM whose simple value is 80 + 20 + 80 = 180, which is 10 x 18, and 18 is the value of the the Hebrew word, chai, life, and thus symbolizes life throughout the 10 dimensions (serifot). Life from water! And it’s no coincidence that the square root of 18 is 4.242640, or Maschiah Ben David (424), YHVH (26) and 40.
And while the mem-yud spelled out has the value (100), that of Keter, the crown, the highest sefira/dimension, the final mem (MM) can be thought of as the 40 days and 40 nights.
So knowing that G-d (YHVH) is in the water and that water is connected to the highest spiritual level and purity, what do you think happens when we contaminate and pollute our water? What spiritual message do you think that is sending to the universe? Wouldn’t that be figuratively like throwing (G-d forbid, Has v’shalom) garbage at G-d. So what does that say about us and our readiness to receive the Mashiach, the Messiah.
When we restrict from drinking water in our fasts, we are reminding ourselves how important it is to have G-d, Hashem, in our lives, how our sustenance and survival is dependent upon it. But of course, we must understand why we are restricting before we can reap the benefits. There have been may scientific tests that show water is indeed sensitive at the structural level to different energy (vibes). So rather than restricting a couple days of years, let’s restrict the whole year from negativity, from polluting the waters of the earth physically and spiritually. Like attracts like; like below is above. Moses attracted the Clouds-of-glory. Noach’s generation attracted the devastating flood waters. The erev rav got 40 years in the desert for their lack of faith. And our generations? We invented acid rain. We need to do better.
The word “the heavens,” H’Shama’im, the 5th word in the Torah (Bible), contains the word water (mayim). Is that a coincidence too? Mayim (water) is repeated twice within the first 2 verses of the Torah, in the 5th (H’Shama’im) and in the 21st word, the waters H’mayim. Together, 5 + 21 = 26, the value of the YHVH. Together the numerical value of the full two words is equivalent to that of H’Shechinah and to “The KING, a complicated concept that in simple terms refers to the integration of the male and female aspects of G-d and the universe in harmony, the mutual giving and receiving in purity. Numerically, it’s 395 + 95 + 26 (kolel for the ordinal; word value) =516, the number of times Moses needed to pray in order to bring H’Mashiach, the Messiah.
Now here is another deep secret, a deep Bible code if you will. In known by chazal that the waters that split the Red Sea (See of Reeds) were programmed to do so since the dawn of creation. The first mention of water in the Torah is in the word H’Shama’im in the Torah’s 1st verse. The letters for water (MYM) are the 19th, 20, and 21st letters in the Torah, and the 3 verses of the splitting of the Red Sea, the 3 sequential verses of 72 letters from which the 72 Names of G-d are derived, are Exodus (Shemot) 14:19, 20, and 21.
As it was in the beginning, G-d hovers above the waters. The waters are a powerful direct connection we have to G-d; let’s use them in a positive way, in the pure way they were meant to be used. And let’s bring about the Moshiach in our generation.
The Torah gives us a final clue to how we can help purify the waters again, physically and spiritually, and that is found int eh number of times the word water (mayim) is found in one form or another in the Torah. It’s found 173 times and 173 is the small gematria value of the 42-Letter name of G-d, (the Shem Mem-Bet, also known as the Ana B’koach).

We’ve seen that in the Divine Calendar from Adam to Mashiach, year 0 to year 5778 HC there is midpoint marked by the midpoint of King David’s 70 years life, the year 2889 HC. And it’s known by chazal that אדם (ADAM) stands for Adam-David-Mashiach. It’s also known that because David was necessary for mankind but given no life of his own until the end of time in 5778 that Adam gave 70 years of his proposed 1000 year life for David and thus lived only 930 years.
But it’s also known that Jacob gave up 33 of the years of his life since he was supposed to live as love as Isaac, his father (180) and that Joseph likewise gave up 37 years of his life since he was to live to 147 like Jacob, and not the 110 that he did. Together they sacrificed 33 + 37 = 70 years, but since David already had his life allotted to him by Adam, who received the patriarch’s 70 years. Just perhaps these are the 70 final years from the founding of Israel in 5708 to the final redemption in 5778.
So considering this Divine Calendar so perfect in its construct as delineated in the Book The Divine Calendar, what significance is there in David’s birth in 2854 HC, exactly 406 years after the reception of the Torah at Mt Sinai in 2448, seeing as 406 is the numerical value of the letter Tav, the last of the 22 regular letters, the one representing the end and malchut. If David’s birth was the end, what followed?
And while there were 406 years from the giving of the Torah to King David’s birth in 2854 and 406 is the spelled-out value of the letter tav (ת), there were an additional 906 years until the year 3760, the pivotal year 0 CE in the Gregorian calendar and 906 is the sofit value for the spelled out letter koof (ק). There were also 906 years (representing Koof) from the Covenant of Abraham to the Birth of King David, displaying symmetry with the Birth of King David at the apex and/or bottom depending on your perspective.
Now the letter combination Tav-koofתק is not commonly used as a word in Hebrew, but the Zohar does use it to describe the actual distance/length of the Tree-of-Life, which is 500 parsangs פרסה according to the Zohar, the Book of Splendor. It is an interesting description for the distance (in spirituality time is measured as distance, and distance as similarity of form) between the giving of the Torah and the pivotal beginning of the Gregorian calendar-from one end of the tree-of-life unto the other.
But if we were to extend outwards from the year 0 CE (3760) that same distance of 500 parsangs, which we now know to be 406 + 906 = 1312 years, the next edge of the Tree-of-Life would reach the year 1312 CE or 5072 HC, which is 706 years before 5778 HC, the prophesied date of the arrival of the Messiah. And 706 is the value of the composite letters (nun sofit and vav) in the letter ץ Zaddi sofit, the last of the 5 final letters םןץףך, and the last of the total 27 letters in the Hebrew Alphabet (alef-bet), the end of the end.
Since we know Adam was to live 1000 years and 1000 is Elef (אלף) and thus also Alef (אלף) than we see the 2889 calendar spread out from Adam to David and from Alef-to-Tav. There is a kabbalistic refrain for the word Atah, אתה, said in every blessing, and that is from Alef to tav to the ה hey of malchut. This hey (ה) represents the 5 final letters, Manzipach, (םןץףך, ךםןףץ), whose simple numerical value is 280 and who collectively represent judgment. Their final value is 3500 and 3500 – 2889 = 611, the numerical value of the “Torah.”
And considering that Zaddi is the last of the 5 final letters, it’s very apropos that the spelled-out values of the composite letters (ן nun sofit and vav ו) that make of the Zaddi sofit(ץ) is 778, as in 5778.
We know that the 78 in 5778 represents the tree-of-life through its initials, the Ayin-Chet (numerical value 78) of YZ ChYYM, and we’ve just learned the the letter Zaddi sofit (ץ) will be found at the end of time (5778), so now we can better understand the reason David had to be given 70 years of life, and also the reason that the Patriarchs had to give up 70 years of their lives in order to support us during the final 70 years from Israel becoming a nation in 5708 until 5778. The 70 years is the Ayin (Y) of value 70 in the word tree, which in the end of days will be combined with the Zaddi sofit (ץ) to form Etz, (ץ), the tree. And Chaim (life) (ChYYM) can be permuted to form Mashiach (MShYCh) when the second letter Yud is converted to a Shin through gematria albam. Thus when Mashiach comes in the end of days, we’ll have available to us the tree-of-life (10 sefirot) consciousness, the ability to see beyond the illusion of reality.
And the word for reality in Hebrew (MZYEVT) is comprised on Metz (MZ) meaning chaff (the surrounding husks we throw off/away) and 10 (Y) Ot (EVT), meaning signs, or possibly 10 sefira, thus what we call reality now is in actually a covering of the signs we need to guide us through life, a covering of the 10 sefirot, which is life itself, the life of the soul. Once H’Mashiach comes along the chaff will be blown away for those that really want to see, to live. For 3330 (or 50 jubilee x 66.6 years) since the time of the 10 signs/plagues we’ve sampled this every Pesach (Passover) when we cleansed our homes of all H’MZ (chaff). But we haven’t been able to rid ourselves of the Metz (chaff) inside us, inside our heads.
So it seems that the year 5778 is not only the end of the Divine Calendar, but of the Hebrew alef-bet as well. What happens thereafter has yet to be written.
We do need to work on getting rid of the metz (chaff) in our heads; that much is clear. No drop from above happens without two drops from below, work and faith. The Mashiach will come. It’s up to each of us to benefit from it. Remember, the future is yet to be written.

What do the 4 wells in parsha Toldot have to do with Isaac being 60 and with the fountain of life?
The Torah begins with the word for “well” permuted in its verse first 3 letters (BRE to BER), and actually it repeat it as the second word in the Torah (BRE to BER). Why?
And together they add to 406, the value of the spelled-out letter tav (TB). Why is the end in the beginning?
Let’s jump ahead to Toldot, the 6th portion of the Torah, where we learn about Isaac digging wells, and as the Arizal points out “the well (H’Be’er) has the same numerical value of Isaac (Yitzchak).
There are four wells mentioned, but the Arizal in his commentary on this portion, really goes deeper into the first two and then concentrates on the phrase from the portion (Bereshit 26:19) “a well of fresh spring water” (be’er mayim chayim), living waters.
The names of the 4 wells are Eisek, Sitnah, Rechovot, and Sheba, and while the Ari equates Eisek with the aspect of the Tetragrammaton known as Av (Chocma), and Sitnah with that of Sag (Binah), he skips the other two and connects “a well of fresh spring water” (be’er mayim chayim) with Mah (Zeir Anpin). That said, the names Eisek, (AShK) meaning contention, and Sitnah, (ShTtNH) meaning harassment, are both found in the second line of the 42-Letter Name of G-d, (the Ana B’koach): Eisek = KRAShTtN and Sitnah = HRYShTtN and the only letter not utilized in teh line is the resh (R), as in Rechovot (RChBVT) meaning “open spaces.”
As for Sheba (ShBA), the shin and ayin as included in this second line so the collective letters not utilized in the 4 wells are H, Ch,B,V,T and B) and these 6 letters sum to 423 and is we add 1 for the kolel, we get 424, the value for Mashiach Ben David, the Messiah.
Now, while the word Rechovot from which most of the extraneous letters come from has the word value 616, the same as that of H’Torah, “The Torah,” the final letters of Eisek, Sitnah and Rechovot (K,H,T) have the numerical value of 505, Sarah, from which the Mashiach connection stems, as we’ve discussed in numerous posts.
As an aside, please note, that the difference from H’Torah to Sarah is 616 – 505 = 111, the value of Alef, as in the Alef of Abraham, who also had dug wells before Isaac did, and is also the other half of the Mashiach equation.
So what is the spiritual significance of digging wells?
The 4th well, was dug at Beer Sheva, meaning satisfy/content and also seven (7) when G-d blessed Isaac and told him he’s multiply his seed for Abraham’s sake. It has the numerical value of 372. And when we consider the aspect of the Tetragrammaton known as Mah (Zeir Anpin) (YVD HE VEV HE) and use the spelled-out value of the 3 alefs (333) in it and add them to the value of the rest of the letters (42), subtract ing the kolel for the 3 alefs we get 333 + 42- 3 = 372.
Now considering that a well or cistern is a vessel, usually associated with the level of malchut (our world) and that zeir anpin is the 6 dimensions (sefirot) that channel the light (flow of energy/life) into our world, we find that the 7 in total are functioning properly at Beer Sheva to transmit the flow of energy necessary for G-d’s blessing to carry on through Isaac and to the future generations.
And since we know that the 42-Letter Name (the Ana B’koach) is directly associated with these 7 sefirot and that it acts as our channel to the upper worlds, we see why the early wells were tied in to it. Moreover, they were tied into the 2nd line of the Name, the line that is directly associated with Isaac’s energy. Using this analogy, the 4th well must be connected to the 4th line of the Name, and thus the point of the flowing blessings as well.
From the phrase “a well of fresh spring water” (be’er mayim chayim), we see that the first letters of the first 2 words spell out mem-bet as in the Shem mem-bet, the 42-Letter Name of G-d, and that the first letters of all 3 words add up to 50, representing Binah. And the full 3 words add up to 360. Moreover, if we add the 3 for the kolel for the 3 words we get 360 + 3 + 363, the numerical value of H’Mashiach.
And when we add those first letters of the living waters B,M,Ch, totaling 50 to the first letters of the first 3 named wells (A,Sh,R), totaling 570, or 10 times zan, sustenance, we get 50 + 570 = 620, the numerical value of Keter, the highest sefira/dimension.
There are 22 letters in the named wells and the phrase about the living waters in them, a not-so-subtle hint about a connection to the 22 letters of the alef-bet. So when we add the 3 named wells plus the 22 letters that comprise them we get 470 + 364 + 616 + 360 + 22 = 1832 and if we add 1 for the kolel, we get 1833.
Now, as is explained in depth in The Genesis Prayer, the central two letter pair, sitting at the center of the 4th (middle) line of the 42-Letter Name add up to 290, the value of Miriam, Moses’ sister, whose wells provided endless water and life for the Israelites throughout their 42 journeys on the way to the promised land
As also explained in depth in The Genesis Prayer, this central pair, Resh-Zaddi (RZ) also control a meditative gateway to fulfill that blessing and to help with conception and pregnancy, as well as with finding soul mates, as Rivka and Rachel and Moses did with their wells.
There is definite mid-point in the 42 letter Name, the place where the two drops from heaven, the two Ehyeh (EHYH), each of value 21, meet, 21 letters from the beginning and 21 letters from the end, a place where if the Name was split in two and the first letter was multiplied by the last and so forth and the 21 square roots taken, they’d add up to 358, the value of Mashiach. At this very place on the 4th line, the total numerical value up to that point is 1833, like the waters flowing through the 4th well. Is there a better place to find Keter?
And the ordinal value of the two letters at this special point, resh (R) and zaddi(Z) are 20 and 18, as in 2018 HC, the year of the Covenant of Abraham, also known as the Covenant of Halves, when G-d first promised to make Abraham’s descendants as numerous as the stars, etc. It’s also as in the year 2018 CE, the year prophesied for the arrival of the Messiah, at the end of the 4th exile.
And since these wells connected to the 22 letters, it’s important to note that there are 1833 letter Samech’s (S) in the Torah, adn teh value of Samech (S) is 60, as in the 60 years of Isaac’s age when he re-dug the wells of Abraham and stood in beer Sheba and G-d renewed (for no apparent reason) his blessing with Abraham, telling Isaac that he will multiply his seed. For no apparent reason other than making this gift of the Resh-zaddi gateway obvious to us and our generation.
And when we add the value of samech (60) to the value of the resh (200) and zaddi (90) we get 350 and if we then add the kolel of the 10 letters in “a well of fresh spring water” (be’er mayim chayim) we get “a well of fresh spring water” (be’er mayim chayim) = 360 – 10 = 350 = the RSZ well of flowing abundance and chesed (loving-kindness).
We also know from chazal that as the mid-way point in our journey so to speak this well (R-Z) protects us from the obstacles in our paths if we persevere and continue our journey until the end, seeing the illusions for what they are and reaching the promised land.
If we add the value of samech (60) to the full value of the 42 letters (3701) we get 3761 as in the year 1, or the 1st year on our new journey or 2018 years toward 2018 CE. Our first journey of 2018 years got us as far as the blessing in 2018 HC. There are 3760 years between the two events, 10 times the value of Shalom (peace, 376), or 10 times the value of Esau (376), about whom the Torah immediately tells after G-d extended his Covenant through Isaac, that Esau took a wife from the Hittites a source of grief for Isaac and Rivka.
And where do these wells flow from?
The Airzal tells us they flow from Gan Eden, the garden of Eden.
The Ark that contains the Torah is called H’CLY and we know from chazal that CLI stands for Cohen, Levi, and Yehudi, and that it has the value of 60, so when we open the Ark, we can metaphorically open the resh and the zaddi curtains (RZ) and connect to that flow from Gan Eden. We can also do that every time we do the Ana B’koach.
And note that it is in the 4th line (BTtRZTG) of the 42-letter name that we find word Brit, (BRYT) Covenant, slightly concealed. Since the Zaddi can be split into its two component parts, the Nun (N) and a backwards resh that in the time of Mashiach will be turned around, we have spelled out sequentially (B R Y T) Brit in the center of the line. So whose Brit and whose Covenant are gifted to us in that middle line of G-d’s Name?
This a special gateway available to all. And to those that understand, the Samech (S) between the Resh-Zaddi (RZ) is the samech of Sulam (ladder) and of Sinai, both with the numerical value 130, which is why in Jacob’s famous dream in Vayetze Bereshit 28:12, the ladder was set up on the earth (ERZH). It is the place of “running and returning.”
Use the gift, share the gift, and open the flowing waters in your life. Use the gift, share the gift, and help someone in need be fruit, righteous, and to multiply. Use the gift, share the gift and in the 8 final years to 5778 (2018) help fulfill the Covenant and be there for the Brit of Mashiach.
