The Secret in the Song; The Secret of Moshiach.

In the 40th verse of the 32nd chapter of Devarim we have an oft overlooked statement by Moses
in the middle of the all-important Song of Moses that holds one of the most important secrets of the Torah.

The Zohar goes on and on about the connection between this 32nd chapter (parsha Ha’Azinu) that’s shaped like the Magen David and the 32 Paths of Wisdom, in other words the Tree-of-Life. The Zohar also tells us elsewhere that Moses reincarnates every generation and brings us the spirit of Moshiach each time. We’ve written earlier about how Moshe and Adam (and many other tzaddikim) both knew when Moshiach was supposed to arrive.

The Arizal tells us that David was an incarnation of Adam in the triad (ADM: Adam-David-Mashiach) and we’ve written about how the midpoint of David’s life (2889 HC) marked the midpoint in the Divine Calendar that is punctuated with the arrival of Moshiach and the geula (final redemption) in 5778 (2018 CE) as advised to us by Rav Yehuda Halevi Ashlag (HaSulam), 7 years from now.

And as Rav Brandwein points out, 78 is (Ayin-Chet), the initials of AZ ChYYM (the Tree-of-Life) that is prophesied to manifest for us in 5778, as the Zohar says 70 years after the formation of the state of Israel in 5708.  Please note that this divine manifestation in 5778 is just a powerful window of opportunity and not a foregone conclusion; we must earn it.
Now, as for that little phrase mentioned by Moses, the one that contains one of the deepest secrets of the Torah, it begins with “For I lift up my hand to Heaven, and say,” and follows with “Chi Anochi L’Olam (ChY ENCY LALM),” meaning “As I live forever.” People miss this extremely significant detail because they assume Moses is speaking for G-d, but why would G-d in Heaven raise his Hand to Heaven?

What is this like? It’s like when Moses held up his hand to empower the Israelites to defeat the Amalekites. The Torah tells us as long as Moses hand (was) is raised the Israelites would win; when it wasn’t Amalek, the Kabbalistic code word for “doubt” of the same numerical value, would win.

Whoever was talking for Whom, Moses was and is the channel, our channel. And if his hand remains up in the end of days, we win, triumphing over our doubts so as to experience the Tree-of-life reality. Both related verses are followed by verses describing the use of the Sword (Charev) of Moses (details for another day) and both verse end similarly but with an all-important disctiction. The verse at Devarim 32:40 ends in forever (LALM), while the verse at Exodus 17:11 ends in Amalek (AMLK). The difference between them is that the Hebrew letter Lamed extends upward toward Heaven and the Hebrew letter Koof descends.  Numerically their difference is 70 in standard gematria, and 7 in ordinal value, 77 altogether. The choice is pretty clear: we support Moses and keep his hands held high as the Israelites did during their earlier battle, or we don’t. The Torah goes on to warn us that “G-d shall be at war with Amalek for all generations,’ meaning, we shall face our doubts until the very end.

While the initials of verse 32:40 (ChEL) sum to 39, as in tal, the dew that will resurrect the dry bones at the end of days, an over simplification of a topic that the tzaddikim have filled volumes on, it’s the final letters and the complete gematria of the 3 words that tell the full story.
As Chazal explains, the final letters of a Torah phrase refer to the future and if so, the future this phrase points to is Keter, the highest crowning sefira (dimension). The final letters sum to 620 (Keter), just as there are 620 letters in the 10 Commandments, which was the last time Moses brought us to the summit of the Tree-of-Life reality, 3330 years ago (66.6 jubilee years).
But it’s the full 3 words that explain it all. Most of our readers already know the equation 54 x 107 = 5778 and significance of 54 being the timing rhythm our brains operate on etc., and also that the sum of all the integers though 107 is 5778 in the same way that the sum of all the integers through 73 (Chochma/Wisdom) is 2701, the numerical value of the Torah’s first verse. To those readers it will be all the more significant that the ordinal value of “As I Live (ChY ENCY)” is 54 and that of “As I Live forever (ChY ENCY  LALM) is 107; nevertheless, to everyone it should be relevant that the complete gematria of the phrase Sung by Moses to the Israelites in the 5792 verse of the Torah is 376, that of Shalom (Peace).
Moreover, the 7 Yuds in the full verse represent the 70 years that Adam gave to King David, and also of the Zohar’s prophecies for Israel, and also of Abraham’s life prior to his receiving G-d’s Covenant for Israel in 2018 HC, and thus we see that the 7 remaining years to 5778 represent the final tenth (or tithe, 7/70) of the 70 final years until 2018 CE (5778 HC), so let us overcome our doubts, keep Moses hand upraised, so that Moses shall live forever and Peace shall be upon us, as the Tree-of-Life once again becomes  a reality for us. As aided and guided by the Torah, lets follow the Lamed of forever and look upward, and not downward along the Koof of Amalek for the remaining 7 of the 70 years.
Why was this revealed in verse 5792 and not 14 verses earlier in verse 5778, who knows? Maybe it’s because 14 is the numerical value of David, or of “Hand (YD),” as in the hand that will be lifted up to Heaven. Or it could simply be that this was the 302107th letter in the Torah.

Or it could be that we are to count this time from the 14th verse in the Torah in which G-d placed the lights in the sky? And the brightest of those physical lights is our Sun, whose surface temperature is undeniably, 5778 K, the only temperature that would sustain life on Earth as we know it.
As for the full verse, its initials sum to 161, as in G-d’s higher Name Ehyeh, and the final letters of the entire verse sum to 376 (peace) yet once again (when the kolel of 1 is subtracted).

And the first 3 words of the verse (Ki EShah El) add up to 363, that of H’Moshiach (the Messiah), just in case we weren’t exactly sure to what or to who the final 3 words were referring  in Moses’ reincarnation.

Finally, the first and last letters of the verse (Caf and Mem sofit) also add up to 620 (Keter). And if we neglect the sofit value they sum to 80, as in the spelled-out value of the letter Mem and as in the 80 times the word Sheva (7) is found in the Torah; it’s also the number of times the numerical value 358, that of Moshiach, is found in the Torah.

Let the Torah be our Guide.

And whether this was intentional or not, the numerical placement of the two verses 2nd Book 17:11 and 5th Book 32:40 add up to 107. Go figure!

A Purim Miracle

The Name of G-d doesn’t blatantly appear within the Book of Ester we read each Purim. It’s encoded hundreds of times, but it doesn’t directly appear; in other words, it’s concealed. As explained by chazal, even the name Ester connotes G-d’s concealment from us as illustrated in the verse Devarim 31:18, “Anochi hastir astir panai” – “I shall surely hide My face.” In fact, the story starts off with the drunken King Ahasuerus trying to expose her beauty. And that’s the way G-d is with us. We know He’s there, his name and being interwoven in our lives and history, but his Name is always concealed. Unless we look at the spiritual and mathematical codes for his signature, He is invisible.

(Esther 1:10-12) “On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded . . . to bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal . . . But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s commandment by the chamberlains.”

The Baal Shem Tov explains that Queen Ester was referred to here as Vashti because this verse refers to klippot (the evil inclination) and that spiritually she couldn’t appear naked because the klippot would have nothing to attach itself, seeing as they attach themselves to our cloths (our personal veils and agendas). As the Ball Shem Tov, of blessed memory, himself points out this is a deep secret or deep understanding.

Our essence is pure, but this is not what we put out into the world. Even our intentions many times are pure, but become polluted even before the thoughts leave our mouths. The Megilat Ester doesn’t have any revealed Names of G-d to remind us of the purity that we have within and that the real miracles come that from the blatant use of G-d’s Name, but from G-d himself. We are reminded to look at the effect, to see G-d in the miracle itself, not in the billboard proclaiming it. Once we can do that, we can then see G-d in each other, and only then see Him in ourselves.

This is also why we give the gifts of food to other Jews through a messenger on Purim: to remove our agendas from the process. And why we give charity to 2 people in need: to spread our inner light.

The whole concept as explained by the Arizal of the Book of Esther is the spiritual coupling of Zeir Anpin (the King) with the Nukva (Malchut, represented by Ester), but this cold not have been accomplished without the work of Mordechai, an incarnation of Jacob, the quintessential central column. As the saying goes, “things need to be concealed to be revealed.” Raw passion and desire is not enough; it must be channeled so that our agendas are filtered out and the spiritual light may shine through.

We dress in costumes so that we can learn to look behind the facade, behind the “mask” and “costume” others are wearing, and get drunk that night so that we forget our agendas, lose our conscious ability to see the illusions of the world. It’s at that point that we can see G-d within everyone and everything. G-d created the world for the purpose of ultimately revealing Himself in it, which is why he first be concealed; on Purim we can touch that revelation.

A Story of Revelation

The year was 1953, five years after Israel had received statehood. Joseph Stalin was planning to wipe out all of the Soviet Jewry. Also ready known for his mass genocide, he had threatened the Jewish leadership with annihilation and they begged him to send them all to Siberia instead, which would have been just a slower form of death. But on March 2nd, days away from signing the decree Stalin mysteriously took ill and died. He was most probably poisoned by his rival Beria, nevertheless, the Jews were spared. That day was Purim, 2308 years after the Jews were saved from Haman and King Ahasuerus’ decree in 355 BCE.

And interestingly enough, 355 is the gematria of Pharaoh. Everything is concealed until it is revealed. It was immediately after leaving Pharaoh and Egypt behind that Amelak arrived, link a virus that had hitched a ride. And it was from Amelak that Haman descended. We know from chazal that Amelak of gematria 240 is spiritually representative of “doubt” of the same numerical value. This is universally understood.

We are told through various prophecies that our scourge Amalek/doubt will plague us to the end of days. Through Haman, Amalek had to be defeated in order to save the Jews and bring about the exile of 70 years of the Babylonian exile. The final 70 years, the numerical value of “G0g v’ Magog” (the Armageddon War) are up in 5778 as we covered over and over again in The Divine Calendar and our articles, 9 years from now. And Amelak once again sits beside our King (the physical one), concealed only by the gematria of his name; this is for those that understand.

We have our work cut out for us. We’ll have to look beyond our personal agendas that separate us from one another to navigate the coming days.

In order to prevent Haman from succeeding, Esther and Mordechai inspired the Jewish people to do teshuva and to fast for 72 hours (an allusion to the 72 Names, repeated constantly throughout the Megilat Ester); The Jews had to delve inward to find themselves, to find G-d. Only then, could they unite to defeat Amalek/Haman as they had at the Red Sea.

We too will have to look inside if we want to see the miracles, see where they come from, defeat Amalek, and see the tree-of-life reality we all have inside ourselves.  The proper celebration of Purim will help tremendously for us to connect, especially through the reading of the Megilat Ester (MGYLT ESTR), whose first and last letters (MR) have the numerical value of 240, that of Amalek, which is what the Book is designed to help us defeat.

The Nations: What delayed the Messiah? And Who made the prophesies of 5760 and of 2012?

When will the Messiah (Moshiach) come? And What did the Golden Calf incident have to do with the delay? And what ever happened to that prophecy of His arrival in 5760?
וירא העם כי בשש משה לרדת מן ההר ויקהל העם על אהרן

Exodus (Shmot) 32:1 … When the nation saw that Moshe delayed to come down from the mountain, the people assembled about Aaron and said to him…

H’Am, the nation, is referred to by the Zohar as the erev rav, the force of so-called converts who derive their power from Amalek and have always sought to undermine the power of the Jews (Israelites) to bring Mashiach, the Messiah. The numerical value of H’Am (העם) is 115, and 115 jubilee (50-year intervals) is 5750, the year that Israel celebrated its 42nd year, which was 28 years before the prophesied date for the Geula, the arrival of Mashiach and the End of Days. Those familiar with The Genesis Prayer and this blog know that 28 is intimately connected with the year 5778, the construction of the Torah, and that the first 28 letters of the Torah is the link between the 42-Letter Name, the Torah, and Creation.

Before we look deeeper into the process lets examine the word H’Am (העם), comprised of a final Mem of value 40, and 2 letters, representative of the Mem-bet, or 42, the Name of G-d that chazal has told us will bring about the geula, the final redemption and thus the end of our collective 42 -step journey.

Moreover, the Ayin, of value 70, hints to the age of Israel in the prophesied date of 5778, while the other 2 letters, hey (5) and mem (40) add up to 45, the numerical value of Adam (EDM), which as we’ve explained in other post, is known to represent Adam-David-Mashiach. Moreover, the numerical value of the spelled out letters EDM from Adam-David-Mashiach is 111 + 434 + 80 = 625, which is not only the numerical value of H’Keter, “the crown and highest possible level (sefira), but the number 625 is also the exact square root of the total number of words, verses and letters in the Torah combined (390,625), which in itself graphically depicts, H’Keter, (625) crowning Heaven (Shama’im, 390).

Nevertheless, the numerical values for the phase “Adam, David and Mashiach” plus 1 for the kolel add up to 45 +14 + 364 + 1 = 424, the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David.

And we know from the Zohar that the ayin (ע) of numerical value 70 in H’Amעם) is not without purpose because there are 70 nations in total from which holy sparks must be raised in order to bring about H’Mashiach, corresponding to the last 70 years from Israel receiving statehood in 5708 to the year 5778, and to the 70 years of King David’s life. As you can and should read in The Divine Calendar, this also relates to the destruction of the First Holy Temple in 422 BCE and to that of the the Second Temple in 70 CE. And most significantly, the word seventy (70) has the numerical value of 422 and the sum of the Names (or 3 aspects, points in time) of Adam, David and H’Mahsiach is 45 +14 + 363 = 422.

Why do we refer to these 3 aspects of the messiah as 3 points in time?

In the divine calendar of 5778 years from Adam to Moshiach, the midpoint is marked by the exact midpoint in King David’s life, 2889 HC.

The gematria atbash reveals yet another clue about the H’Am (העם) and the eventual connection to 5778 in that when we use this reverse alphabet cipher the word H’AM becomes (Z’TzY) which has a numerical value of 107, which corresponds to the sum of all the integers (spiritually, the sum of the collective memory) from 1 to 107, which is exactly 5778. And probably not so coincidentally, if we add both the regular and the atbash gematria of H’AM we get 115 + 107 = 222, which is also the same as the spelled out gematria milui value of the 3 letters in H’AM less the kolel for the 3 letters, or 15 + 130 + 80 – 3 = 222. Moreover, 6000 – 222 = 5778.

Why 6000?

In this verse, the Torah uses the word בשש “boshesh; delayed” which can also be read, “beshesh; at the sixth.” Nearly all the assorted messianic prophesies point to the sixth millennium, and there’s no argument with that, especially as 2 + 2 + 2 = 6 and we know that the nations couldn’t wait 6 more hours for Moses to return with the first set of Holy tablets from Mt Sinai.

Thanks to the Sefer Chesed Le’Avraham by Rav Avraham Azulai, zs’kl, there was much speculation that H’Mashiach would arrive in 5760 (2000 CE). And he did in a sense, as the value of the word chai (18) in the phrase Mashiach chai (the Messiah lives) indicates that he will live 18 years from 5760 until 5778, but that will all be revealed in time.

Rav Avraham Azulai, zs’kl, used the calculation of the size of a mikve, 40 seah, which is equivalent to 5760 eggs to determion the date 5760. Now, the erev rav have always thrived by spreading doubt, and doubt in Hebrew has the numerical value of 240, the same as Amalek (AMLK), which not insignificantly contains the word for nation (AM) and adds LK, of numerical value 130, the same as Sinai, where the doubt was sewn 6 hours before Moses’ arrival and the golden calf was constructed.

If we reverse we the initial letters in the phrase 40 Seah, or Mem Seah, we get Samech Meah or 60 Meah, which is 60 hundred, which is 6000 as in the 6000 years of the 6th millenium. which corresponds to the Shesh in בשש “boshesh.

But what does doubt have to do with 5760?

The value 5760 can be derived from the equation 240 x 24 = 5760 and also from 6000 – 240 = 5760. Since 24 is the value of cad, a vessel, and 240 is the value of Amelak and doubt, we see that 5760 HC is the year of Amelak, which has always been spiritually and historically the scourge of the Jews (Israelites).

From the word H’Am (העם), when the letters hey and mem are spelled out we get 15 + 80 = 95, the numerical value of “The King” and ayin spelled out is 130, that of Sinai, thus indicating that the King was at Sinai, but as we’ve seen the doubt spread by the erev rav impeded them from receiving Him. The message in all this is that we cannot let the erev rav from impeding us from receiving Him this time. We were giving 18 years, 6 + 6 + 6 years to overcome the erev rav and the doubts within ourselves in order to receive H’Mashiach in 5778. That is 66.6 jubilee years from 2448 HC, the last chance we got, when for the lack of 6 hours patience and certainty we had to wait another 3330 years for the next and final opportunity.

What about the prophesied year 2012 CE?

Since there are 18 years from the year 2000 to 2018, 2012 is 2/3 or .666 of the way in the final journey.  And while the Mayan calendar resets in the year 2012 CE for another cycle it doesn’t actually end, but many of the nations have latched onto that as a date for the end of days.  Now, while we’re in the period of Gog V M’gog, not accidentally of numerical value 70, which began in 5760 (2000 CE), and while we’re experiencing ever more difficult times, they won’t end in 2012 and the Messianic age won’t begin in 2012. But what will occur, is a deeper sense of doubt and disillusion as yet another supposed date for the Messiah comes and goes.  Don’t get fooled by Amalek; there’s no Biblical context, no Bible code for the year 2012; it’s one more illusion, and mashiach consciousness is all about seeing past the illusions of what we call reality.

How do we know we’ll get 2 opportunities?

The word H’AM is repeated twice in this verse, meaning we will have to confront the nations (erev rav/Amalek) twice, or once more in order to reach Mashiach consciousness.

And the bet (ב), meaning 2 or second, of בשש “boshesh (delayed) indicates that the delay of the 6 hours led to the delay into the sixth millennium and 2nd opportunity for us to unite as one as we were in Adam, the embodiment of Mashiach before the original sin.

Doubt that? Multiply the values of each of the letters in בשש “boshesh (delayed) and take the square root to find its essence and what do you get? 300 x 300 x 2 = 180,000 and its square root is 424.2640. Since 424 is the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David, and 26 is that of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH), and 40 is both the Biblical number for “coming of age” and also the number of years that those at Mt Sinai had to wait to enter the promised land because of the golden calf incident, It’s pretty obvious what was missed and what got delayed.

Why did they turn to Aaron?

“the people assembled about Aaron…”

Amalek surrounded Aaron because Aaron is the link to Moshiach. The only name in the Torah linked to Mashiach is Aaron. And the exact words “about Aaron” (AL EHRN) have the numerical value, when the kolel is added for the two words, of 100 + 256 + 2 = 358, which is that of Mashiach.

The gold was put into his hands, to give life to the golden calf, which has the numerical value of 108, thus 1 more than 107, and thus covering up the revelations of 5778 until now. And from the nations, Mashiach will emerge. There was much technology that went into the plot to undermine Aaron and the Israelites, and one part of that was that gold, hand and also David all have the numerical value of 14, linking them all to the negative action of the gold being put into Aaron’s hand.

Think not? Then explain why the 12 words of the verse add up to 2865 and when we add the kolel for the 12 words twice for each period we’d have to wait, or alternatively the value 14, the value of David (gold and/or hand) plus 10 for the 10 Commandments we were supposed to have received that day, we get 2889 HC, the midpoint in David’s life and the midpoint from Adam to Moshiach.

And what will happen in 5778, 2018 CE?

If we turn to Exodus (Shmot) 20:18 for a clue, we find that in referring to H’Am, the people (nation, erev rav) it says, “The people kept their distance while Moses entered the mist where the Divine was [revealed].”

And so they shall keep their distance. Distance in kabbalistic spirituality means “dissimilarity” of form, thus the chaff will be separated from the wheat.  The peoples (nations) couldn’t see into the mist because the mist represents a reality beyond their comprehension; it’s the tree-of-life reality.  When Moses (Mashiach) emerges in 5778 (2018 CE) the divine will be revealed to all who have awakened to the Messiah consciousness, and only to those. B”H everyone will awaken.
