We were told to count to 50, yet every year we count to 49, and let G-d count the 50th day for us? But that’s not what we were told to do.
As an adjunct to our last Article on the splitting of the Torah at Bamidbar (Numbers) Chapter 1 into the precise Phi proportions and to the connection to the year 5778 (2018 CE), we’d like to add a secret about the 12 tribes, actually 13, listed in the 54 verses of Bamidbar chapter 1. They appear to be listed haphazardly, but that is anything from the truth. The sages and the Zohar tell us that they are listed in a specific in order for us to connect through them to the stars and to destiny, but there is a deeper, never been reveled secret about them as well.
The 13 initials in there order of appearance are R for Reuben, then Sh for Shimon, then G for Gad, then Y for Yehuda, then Y for Issacar, then Tz for Tzebelun, then E for Ephraim, then M for Menash, then B for Benjamin, then D for Dan, then E for Asher, then N for Naphtali, then finally L for Levi.
As you may have noticed the initials M-B as in the 42-Letter Name (MB Shemot) appears in the middle of them, the Name the sages have said is necessary for bringing about the Geula (final redemption), but what the true secret is that that the first 11 Names add up to 577 and the final 2 to 80, a well-conceived allusion to 5778-0, especially considering that the prior two portions in the Torah had 57-78 verse respectively.
They are further arranged so that the 6 tribes numbered 4 through 9 would add up to 70, as in the 70 Nations, the 70 years of King David, and the last 70 years from when Israel became a Nation in 5708 HC.
In his commentaries on this portion (Bamidbar) the Arizal discusses the reason that the Levites were counted from age 30 and everyone else from age 20. In essence, it is because the Levites represent the left side of the Tree-of-Life, the side of Gevurah, which is comprised of the 5 crowns (or proto Gevurah) within the sefira (dimension) of Da’at; the 5 midot (emotional expressions) of Gevurah within Zeir Anpin that are the dimensions of Chesed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach and Hod; and the 5 manifesting stages of Gevurah within the dimension of Yesod, for a total of 15. Since there are male and female aspects to each, the total is 15 plus 15 or 30. 30 is also the numerical value for the letter Lamed (L), the initial of the tribe of Levi.
Not coincidentally, Lamed is one of the two central letters of the Hebrew alef-bet, the other being Caf (C), nor is it coincidental that that complete numerical value (standard plus ordinal) is 42; or that the complete value of Caf(C)is 31, that of El (G-d); or that the complete value of Caf-Lamed (CL), spelling Kol, meaning “All (everyone)”, is 73, the same as Chochma (wisdom). And using a little known, but highly revelatory form of ancient gematria we see at the essence of the letters Caf-Lamed (CL): (42 x 31)/(42+31) = 26.04, the sum of the 4 letters of the Tetragreammatom (YHVH), which oddly enough is the same as 2 x (42 x 31), which is also = 2604, further emphasizing this important connection.
The Beginning
Nevertheless, the letter Lamed(L) as seen from above starts out as a point, becomes a straight line and spirals into a circle, a metaphor for the formation of the universe as described in Rav Ashlag’s Ten Luminous Emanations. It’s one of two letters that spiral; the other being the letter Pe(P), and as we’re told by Abraham, The Patriarch in his Sefer Yetzirah (The Book of Formation) these are the two letters (PL) that control (have dominion over) the month of Tishrei, which begins with Rosh HaShannah. This is also why the sequence of the counting of the tribes begins with the word for counting (Pekudaihem) and ends with Levi, thus (PL).
Now, the letter (P) forms a more natural recognizable spiral, and thus is associated with the spiraling numerical constant Phi, as opposed to the Letter (L), which is associated with the mathematical constant Pi, as would be appropriate for a line becoming a circle.
What bother these letters also have in common is that they are both composed of the letters Caf (C) and Vav(V) as in (CV), representing the number 26, associated with the Tetragrammaton (YHVH). Nevertheless, it’s their association together within the letter Alef (ELP) that is significant to our discussion. The letter Alef (E), as prototypical energy, existed before the Torah and thus physical existence began and it was comprised of an upper and lower Yud(Y) with two Vavs(V) splitting apart the two Yuds (Y). It was from the lower Yud (Y) that a sea of energy emanated and formed the skeletal structure of out universe, and within that sea were the mathematical constants Pi and Phi (represented by L and P)to guide the currents of physicality. Thus was completed the Alef (ELP) prior to the Bet (B) of the Torah.
We spoke earlier of the 15 aspects of Gevurah (the filter of judgment) represented by the Lamed(L), but there are also 15 aspects of Chesed (loving kindness) to balance them out, making 30 aspects in total, which happens to be the ordinal value of E-L-P (the letter Alef spelled out). Now the letter Alef, (E) has a letter value 1 and the spelled out letter’s numerical value is 111, or Oneness in every sense of the word. And from that oneness came everything (kol).
In this portion of Bamidbar, Moses counted all the Israelites over the age of 20 except the Levites, which he counted over the age of 30, together they represented 20+30 or Caf(C) plus Lamed (L) making CL (kol), everyone. And 20+30 = 50, as in the 50 days which we were told by G-d to count in preparation for receiving the Torah in marriage every year at Shavuot. This is just as it was when the 600,000 Israelites counted the 50 days in the desert (bamidbar) from the crossing of the “End Sea” (Yam Suf) to the reception of the 10 Commandments and the Tree-of-life reality (10 sefirot/dimensional existence beyond physicality) at Mt Sinai.
Of course, 600/50 = 12, as in the 12 Tribes that Moses was counting.
And if you recall, Pharaoh sent and lost at sea his 600 choice chariots (governing angels) in that same sea crossing, so it’s not coincidental that 20 x 30 = 600 or that “sea” (YM) has a numerical value of 50. Nor is it coincidental that the Torah mentions the exodus 50 times יציאת מצרים, which literally means going out of the “straits of the sea” מצר ים.
A Deeper Code
A clue to the depth of the Torah encoding is further found within the word which we broke down above “straits of the sea” מצר ים, since two of the first three letters (Resh-Zaddi) represent the central core (heart) of the 42-Letter Name Matrix and the third letter Mem (numerical value 40) represents the rest of the 40 letters. This was in the same was that CL was at the core/heart of the alef-bet. And since we know from the sages and tzaddikim, including the Baal Shem Tov of blessed memory that the 42-Letter Name represents not only the 42 journeys that the Israelites made in the desert (BMDBR) but the 42 journeys we much make in life and the 42 journeys of our soul on the way to redemption, we may infer that going out of the “straits of the sea” מצר ים is also exiting through the 42-Letter Name.
Counting 50
As discussed in previous articles, the Torah repeatedly insists that we count the 50-year jubilee cycle and first tells us to do so in the first chapter of the Behar-Bechukatai 57-78 connection. Nowadays, because there is no Temple, we pretty much ignore that command. Are we making a mistake?
Should we be counting 50?
Yitro (Jethro), whose gematria value is 616, the same as “The Torah,” told Moses how to manage his 600,000 Israelites, which was an allusion to how the universe is managed from above. He told him that Moses should put leaders and sub-leaders over 1000’s, 100’s, 50’s and 10’s? Thousands, hundreds and tens is logical and is more than suggestive of how the 10 sefirot are divided and subdivided by 10’s, but why subdivide by 50 as well?
It doesn’t make sense to have someone over essentially only two people (100/50) so there must be a secret in here, a hidden message Yitro was conveying to Moses, especially since it was conveyed to Moses moments (Torah time) before receiving the 10 Commandments.
The full answer to the meaning of counting 50 lies in the spiritual dimensions of time and space itself, but there are some simpler ones that we can grasp. For instance, if we count the jubilee years (50-year intervals) from the birth of Adam to the midpoint of the 70-year life of King David (2854 HC – 2924) we get precisely 57.78 jubilee years. And from that pivotal midpoint (2889 HC) to the year 5778 HC, when the Geula is prophesized to occur, we get another 57.78 jubilee years.
Of course, 2889 HC is exactly 441 years after the Torah was received on Mt Sinai in 2448 HC and 441 is the numerical value of Emet (Truth) and 212.
And of course there are 66.6 jubilee years from 2448 to 5778 and 66.6 jubilee years from Adam to the destruction of the First Holy Temple in 3338. But all this can be found in The Divine Calendar, except this new tidbit that there are 325,077.8 sidereal days in the 17.8 jubilee years from 2448 HC to 3338 HC.
This doesn’t answer the question why we should count 50; that deeper meaning, whose answer lies in the 32 sides of the 5th dimensional hypercube, will take time to explain. But our time already seems to be marked, whether it’s the temperature of the surface of the Sun, 5778 K or 57.78 jubilee years, the year 5778 (2018 CE) is hurtling towards us. This is also why that first chapter in Bamidbar that split the Torah into the Phi proportion has 54 verses (like the 54 portions in the Torah and the 54 special letters in the Torah) because the sum of the positive integers through 107 is 5778 and 107 x 54 = 5778, and Phi18 = 5778.000
It’s been said by the sages that the Israelites, stuck in Egypt (MZR YM), were at the 49th gate of negativity and counting by 50 we see that in 2448 HC they were also in the 49th Jubilee year from Adam. It’s also been said that if we reach the Tree-of-Life reality, we will have reached the 50th Gate of Binah. Now that’s something worth counting.
Physical Coincidence
It’s probably just coincidental also that Euler’s Constant is .577215… and that when we use Euler’s Number, noted as ℮ (2.7182818…), which is the base of the natural logarithmic scale, in the equation ℮*Pi√Phi we get 5.277845, which one could argue is not 5.778 and they’d be right, but there are also 5845 verses in the Torah, as in 5.277845.
Of course, counting is just math and math is just at the core of physics, so when we ignore God’s Commandments in the Torah we are ignoring physics, not escaping them, as we would be in the Tree-of-Life reality.

Our revelations last year, about the Omer we’re pretty startling, but one simple piece of the puzzle had alluded us: why do we count it twice? One time by days and another by weeks.
As noted last year, since no light is ever lost, the sum of 49 days we count is equivalent to the sum of the digits 1-49, which is 1225. But each weekly cycle, like the 7 words and 28 letters of the Torah’s first verse from which the Ana B’koach is derived, is similarly counted and the sum of the 7 days counting (1-7) is similarly 28.
And if we apply the value 28 to each week’s counting and count the 7 weeks using the same principles as above and as was used repeatedly in the construction of the Torah, we get the sum of the 7 sums of the weekly cycles as (28 + (28+28) + (28+28+28)…) or 28 squared, which is 784.
But what is revealed by this double counting that we do every year is 784 + 1225 = 2009, as in last year 2009 CE.
Now the day we don’t count, the final day, the completion of the Jubilee cycle, is the 50th day, Shavuot, the day we received the 10 utterances (Commandments) and thus the 10 sefirot (dimensions) of the Tree of Life, 66.6 jubilee years ago (3330 years ago).
And adding the final 10 to 2009, gives us 2019, the year the tzaddikim indicate was slated all along for the final redemption.
Presented below is the in depth article published last year. The importance of 2009 and the distinguishing of the final 10 years to the geula (redemption) will become more apparent once you’ve read it (or reread it).
f you’ve been reading our articles, you may feel like you’ve been collecting pieces of the giant cosmic puzzle, so here are few more key ones. For 3330 years we’ve counted the Omer, but for the first time we have a clear understanding as to why.
The Key is in the Word “Counting!”
The Key is in the word “Counting.” The Torah doesn’t command us to count many things, but it’s very clear about counting the 50 days of the Omer every year and about counting and keeping track of jubilee (Yovel) years every 50 years.
The tzaddikim instructed us long ago how to count the Omer properly, counting the days one at a time: along the branches of the 49-word Psalm 67 in the shape of a menora, one word at a time; counting the 49-letter central trunk of that menora one letter at a time; and counting the 42-Letter Name of G-d (Ana B’Koach) one letter/word at a time, including the name of the angel comprised of the 6 letters of each of the 7 rows, making 49 letters or words to be counted in total for each of 49 (7 x7) days from the 2nd day of Pesach through the reception of the Torah on Shavuot, the 50th day.
To the kabbalists, 50 always signifies Binah, the upper sefira (dimension) of Understanding, as in the 50 Gates of Binah, and the numerical value of Binah is 67, so it’s no coincidence that King David, wrote the divinely inspired Psalm 67 with 49 words. It’s also no coincidence that the midpoint in David’s life, 2889 HC, marks the exact midpoint from the Birth of Adam to the date the tzaddikim predicted for the full manifestation of the Moshiach and the tree-of-life (Etz Chaim) reality and geula in 5778 HC (2017-18 CE).
It’s also no coincidence that the 42-Letter Name is being used as the tzaddikim have also told us that the understanding of this Name will bring about the geula (final redemption).
The theme of midpoints is very important and the midpoint in the counting is on the 25th (5 x 5) day. Another important day occurs 8 days later in the counting:s the 33rd, day, called La’g B’Omer, when we celebrate the hillula of the author of the Zohar, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and when his energy is available to us. The 33rd day in terms of the sefirot (dimensions) is hod of hod, or the 5th level of the 5th level, so you can already see there is a connection to the midpoint of the Omer, or 25th day.
The open revelations below were first made on the 33rd day, L’ag B’Omer, this year, 5/12/2009, and not coincidentally we also revealed that the gematria of L’ag B’Omer is 358, that of Mashiach, when the kolel of the 7 letters is included, which isn’t surprising since Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, has a spark of Moses, who was an aspect of H’Moshiach.
What we didn’t reveal that day was that at the 33rd letter of the 42-Letter Name we have the word L’ag is reverse:
יגל פזק
And perpendicular to it we have the letters (Sh,Y, Ch, B) for Shimon Bar Yochai, and just as significantly the Shin, Yud, and Chet add up to 318, as in the exact numerical value of B’Omer, thus at the 33rd letter in the 42-Letter Name we have L’ag B’Omer and the initials of Shimon Bar Yochai. And if we use the gematria atbash of the Bet, which is Mem, we get a total gematria value of 358, Mashiach.
אבג יתץ
קרע שטן
נגד יכש
בטר צתג
חקב טנע
יגל פזק
שקו צית
But that is just an aside, the real revelations are still to come.
As we said, the 33rd day of the Omer is kabbalistically hod of hod, or the 5th level (sefira) of the 5th level, and thus is related to the very center of the
counting, the 25th day or 5 x 5, 8 days earlier, which is not coincidental since the first 8 words of the Torah have 33 words and a total value of 3003.
But here is what we can reveal today. The midpoint in the counting of both the central 49 letters and the 49 words of Psalm 67 intersect at the same place: the 1st Mem in Yamim. And when we sum up those 25 words, plus the kolel for the 25 words we get 5778.
Moreover the sum of the square roots of those 25 words is 345, that of Moses.
Remember 5778 is 9, or 3 x 3, years from now, 3330 years after the Torah was first received in 2448 HC. And as unconceivable as it is, up to that 25th word, the sum of the square roots of the 24 words is 333.078 or 3330 years and 78, represents the initials of Etz Chaim (A,Ch) the tree-of-life.
So given that when we examined the sum of the square roots of the 33 letters we counted through L’ag B’Omer this year, it came to 220.095 or 5/12/2009, May 12th 2009, L’ag B’Omer 2009 (5769 HC).
And the sum of the square roots of the sofit values of the same 33 letters is 256.44, the numerical value of Aaron, Moses’ brother and another aspect of Mashiach.
This past L’ag B’Omer, the energy of Mashiach that was earned during teh 8 days of Pesach this year was revealed to us and for us through Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, and it was marked on a counting system invented thousands of years ago.
There are no coincidences about these midpoints. Within the 248 words (1000 letters) of the Shema, the first paragraph has 42 words and is this associated with the 42-Letter Name of G-d, but in the center of that paragraph there are the words Brit Bam or “Covenant of 42.” At the very center of the 42-Letter Name of G-d we find the word Brit spelled out again. And while we’ve previously explained in The Genesis Prayer and elsewhere the connection of this central placement in the Ana B’Koach to Moshiach and the value 358, the sum of the initials of the words through the midpoint of the Shema’s first paragraph is also 358 (including the kolel of 1).
But there are two words “Bam(BM)” (Bet-Mems, or 42) in the Shema, and the 2nd one is the 137th word, as in the numerical value of Kabbalah (to receive), meaning that the span that just includes both 42’s is 115 words long. And this is significant because we’ve just completed 115 jubilee years since Adam and the year 5778 is exactly 115.56 jubilee years since Adam.
Jubilee (Yovel), by the way, is spelled (YBL) of numerical value 42.
And if we go to the 115 chapter in the Torah, we find the main verses telling us to Count the Jubilee years, starting at Vayikra 25:10. Once again 25.
Now, if the 22 words, 87 letters, 1 verse and 5 for the 5 final letters, owe also get 115 , but what’s more is that when we add the numerical value of final letters plus the kolel of 115 we get from the 22 words in the verse, plus the kolel of 115 we get 5769 (2009 ce), the same date given by the counting of the Omer.
But what’s the significance of the jubilee years?
It’s encoded into The Torah, but not all that cryptically. The first 4 words of Leviticus (Vayikra) 25:10 are “And you shall hallow the 50th year” which is Hebrew is VKDShTM ET ShNT HChMShYM, and if we isolate 50th year and separate out the final mem (M), shifting it to the middle of the placement word ET, we get EMT ShNT HChMShY or “And you shall make Holy Truth, Year of H’Moshiach.”
This full verse is divided into two parts, the first being 42 letters and the second being 45 letters, together forming 87, the gematria of Ani YHVH (I am G-d), and if we read the verse, even translated, it’s obvious that it speaks of the arrival of Moshiach in the first section and of the geula in the second. See for yourself.
The first 42 letters are “And you shall hallow the 50th year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all it’s inhabitants,” then the second 45 letters are “and you shall return every man to his family property and you shall return every man to his fmaily.”
While the initials of the last 3 words in the verse spell out Emet (EMT), truth, which is what the Torah and the 42-Letter name of G-d are called, the last word in the verse is Teshuvu. “you shall return” of gematria 708, the same as that of the upper 42-Letters of the Name of G-d.
And Rabbi Shimon in the Zohar in the Idra Zuta (section86), speaking about Vayikra 25:10, explains what the jubilee (yoval) is “and that spreads out its roots by the river (yuval).” (Jeremiah 17:8) For jubilee means a river after the river, which is Ima that comes out flows and emerges uninterruptedly to the garden, which is Malchut.” Ima is Binah.
Yovel (Jubilee) and Yuval (the river) are spelled the same except that the Torah sometimes spells Yovel without the vav(V), giving is a value of 42. To understand this you must know the secret that the vav always represents Zeir Anpin as does the number 45, which is why the verse 25:10 has two sections, one with 42 letters representing Yovel (jubilee) and the 42-Letter Name and the other with 45 letters, representing Zeir Anpin and Yuvel (the river), making the 42-Letter Name Binah to Zeir Anpin and making their union/fusion the key to the free-flowing river of Light, that is the Tree-of-Life.
And just to be clear, this verse 25:10, this 115th chapter, announcing the arrival of Mashiach and the geula with the jubilee year, starts at the 180030th letter in the Torah and the square root of 180030 is 424.300, with 424 being the gematria of Mashiach Ben David.
As for why 180030 letters and not 180000 letters which would be so cool, who knows, but Adam, who gave 70 years of his 1000-year lifespan to David, lived 930 years, or 18 jubilee years plus 30 years.
And speaking of David, there are exactly 115.56 jubilee years from Adam to 5778, and while the midpoint in that time frame is the year 2889, the midpoint in David’s life, we also have inexplicably an equation whereby 115.56 x 28.89 = 3338, which is the year the First Temple was destroyed, which is also defined by 5778 x .5778 = 3338. And while the square root of 115.56 = 107.50, we also have the phenomenon that the sum of the integers through 107 = 5778. For more on this please see the books The Divine Calendar and There’s Nothing Random About the Universe, but either way, there is a definite and definitive calendar of what is to happen and when, and it’s been around for 5778 years, which just happens to be the surface temperature of the sun (5778 K).
And most important for us, ever since L’ag B’Omer 2009 (5769) the energy of rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the spark of Moshiach is here with us and here to stay.
Right now the energy is individual. Those that choose to connect to it can. It has not been universally available for nearly 3330 (66.6 jubilee years), but it is now. The river (yuval) is flowing.
To the tzaddikim the final letters in a Torah phrase speak to the future, and the telling final letters of the 4 words VKDShTM ET ShNT HChMShYM, add up to 880 as in the 88th paragraph of Vayikra, which it is, but they also add up to 2000 using gematria sofit, and it was in 2004 that the first book about the 42-Letter Name, The Genesis Prayer, was written to explain the connection between the Name and Moshiach and to help open the channels for the river to flow through. Alternatively, 2000 plus the 17 letters in the 4 words is 2017, as in the year 5778.
As per The Divine Calendar, the theme of 8’s is of extreme significance in Biblical dating and hence the connection of 8 days between between the 25th and 33rd days, but it also explains Rabbi Shimon’s and the spark of Moshiach’s reappearance 8 years before the start of the 2017-2018 (5777-5778) period, which coincides which what the tzaddikim have told us will be the 8 year period of the brit (covenant) of Mashiach, akin to the 8 day period before the brit milah of a new born boy.
So it’s also no coincidence that in this double reading corresponding to the 57-78 verses, we also read at Vayikra 26:42, “then I will remember My Covenant with Jacob and also My Covenant with Isaac and also My Covenant with Abraham I will remember, and I will remember the land.” And let us not forget that G-d made his Covenant with Abraham in 2018 HC.
And just like the word Brit (BRYT) spelled out at the center of first 42-word paragraph of the Shema and at the center of the 42-Letter Name, and of the numerical term 358 (Moshiach) mathematically spelled out in both places, and just like the first 4 letters of the central trunk of the the Psalm 67 menora that also spell Moshiach (MShYCh) and its next 8 letters that add up to 358 (Mashiach), the first 5 initials of the first 5 words of verse 25:10 add up the 612, that of Brit (Covenant).
G-d is not forgetting His Covenants, so let us not forget either. The time and energy is upon us.

Taking it slow, let’s examine a little closer only one aspect of Joseph’s Pyramid (the Great Pyramid), its glimmering capstone. Its full (missing) capstone is 7 levels high, stretching from the 203rd level to the tip of the 210th, completing the tip the sword (ChRB), whose numerical value in Hebrew is 210, just like that of “the mountain (HHR).”
And while it is well know that the end of the first exile occurred after 210 years in Egypt the Zohar informs us in Pasha Toldot, (Midrash Hane’elam) Section 8, #71 that in regards to the resurrection the righteous will rise up 210 years before everyone else. With the pyramid, we have that figure preserved in stone.
It’s interesting that the capstone was mysteriously removed long long ago, because, now, if you’d look straight down over the top of the pyramid you’d see a square 32 feet by 32 feet in the exact middle of it, just as you would if you did the same with the Holy Temple. The square central alter in the center, or heart, of the Future Holy Temple is 32 cubits by 32 cubits.
As we’ve said previously, this makes sense since 32 is the numerical value for the Hebrew word for heart (LB), representing the 32 Paths of Wisdom, which form the Tree-of-life.
And since the Torah begins and ends with the letters Lamed (L) and Bet(B) as in LB (heart), and since there are exactly 32 x 32 word values in the Torah, which is also 210 , analogous to the 210 levels, this structure makes perfect sense from a holistic and comprehensive divine point of view.
And as light flows down from the apex, cascading down the 4 steep highly polished sides of the pyramid, so too did the light (water) flow down the 4 rivers from Gan Eden (Bereshit 2:10) and from the Holy of Holies of the Future Temple through the 4 Names (Aspects) of G-d.
The 4 bases of this capstone, like the 4 bases of the pyramid itself, vary slightly, with the average being about 32.0833 feet, 32 and 1/12 feet or exactly 14 cubits, making the height of the capstone 20.42 feet and the apothem just about 26 feet give or take less than half an inch, with 26 being the numerical value of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH).
Now there are 201.1 cubits to this 203rd level, 203 being the numerical value of the Torah’s first 3 letters (BRE), leaving 7 additional levels to the apex and since 2011 plus 7 equals 2018, as in 2018 CE, it matches up with the Hebrew year 5778 dictated by the pyramid’s height in inches. But more significantly, and more precisely, the ratio of the height and base of the capstone to the height and base of greater pyramid itself is 4.2424% giving us 424, the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David (the Messiah).
Yes, this is no coincidence.
Light and Dark
Let’s consider the aspect of the “Light” synonymous in Kabbalah with G-d (Hashem) and the structure of Joseph’s Pyramid. But first know this: The Zohar, in the paragraph that immediately proceeds the one quoted above regarding the 210 years, Toldot, (Midrash Hane’elam) Section 8, #71 tells us that “ ‘let there be Light’ (Bereshit 1:2) which means let there be secret, because light is the secret of redemption…” That understood, we know the most basic measurements of the Pyramid are exactly 210 holy cubits for the height and 330 holy cubits for the base. We’re calling them holy cubits because this cubit (27.5 inches) is the one based on G-d’s name, (YHVH) and designated for the Future Temple, as we’ve discussed in our resent articles. Nevertheless, given only 210 and 330 and the 10 dimensional structure of the universe agreed upon by both most modern physicists and the ancient kabbalists, we find that:
1/(330*102) = 1/33,000 inches (the exact wavelength for red light)
and
1/(210*330) = 1/69300 inches (the exact wavelength for violet light on the opposite side of the visible light spectrum).
What chance is there that this too is coincidence?
Or that the sum of the base and height in cubits (330 + 210) equals 540 and when we add 1 of the kolel we get 541, the numerical value of Israel.
Now, as we’ve explained, the capstone is exactly 14 cubits wide and 14 is the gematria value for David (DVD) and yad (YD), meaning hand, as in the hand of G-d, so how odd is it that 541 cubits is 14, 877.5 inches or 14 with 5778 reversed, the date Rav Yehuda HaLevi Ashlag of blessed memory gave us for the end of the 4th exile. (See The Divine Calendar).
Not to get too technical, but the number 14 is the 3rd square pyramidal number, meaning it takes 14 units to construct a 3 level square pyramid, and the Magen David, (the “Shield of David), is a perfect symmetrical 12-gonal star, indicating these numbers spiritually were chose not by simple mathematical chance, but for the esthetics in their geometric symmetry and how their energy unfolds in our world.
Moreover, 541 is the 10th centered 12-gonal number, a fancy way of saying a symmetrical 12-sided polygon made up of 541 geometric units, and given Jacob’s (Israel’s) 12 sons as heads of the 12 tribes of Israel, it’s not an insignificant construction or consideration. There is nothing in the universe that does not have a specific purpose.
That all said, the square root of the 541 cubits in feet is 35.210 and while 35 is exactly 1/6th the pyramid’s height of 210 cubits, the 35th level of the pyramid is a big delineation point in its structure.
At the 35th level, the height of the masonry is purposefully twice that of the average and surrounding layers, making it stand-out like a wide stripe or band around the pyramid. Being that it’s exactly 1/6th the way up the structure , its therefore also 5/6th the way down, indicating a possible construction analogous to the 6 sefirot (dimensions) of Zeir Anpin. Furthermore, this 35th level just happens to be exactly 50 inches thick (high), which is yet another allusion to Binah and the 50-year jubilee period. (see our previous article: Mountain of Stone).
Moreover, the 35th level up is necessarily the 175th down, corresponding to the 175 years of Abraham’s life, the first of the Patriarchs to visit Egypt.
So once again we ask the questions: Who built the pyramid in Egypt and why?
We can plainly see that the structure itself is all about light and elevation and the end of exile (all four of them), and the Biblical word for Egypt, Mizraim, is synonymous with darkness, so obviously the pyramid wasn’t created by elements of darkness. Moreover, it obviously served as a beacon of light amongst the darkness, figuratively, and literally with its highly polished gleaming sides, so perhaps we intuitively know why it was built there. It would even look like a flaming sword, but more on that later.
By cloaking it in a veil of darkness, is it possible that G-d tricked the forces of evil and gave us a lasting testament to His Glory (Kavod-numerical value 32) that survived the four exiles mostly intact. You can decide for yourself who built it then.
And let’s keep in mind that our goal in examining the existing great Pyramid is to better understand and prepare ourselves for the Future Temple and the Tree-of-Life reality for the Zohar in the same section quoted above tells us the Future Temple will precede the geula (final redemption) and that doesn’t give us a lot of time to prepare.
In our next article we explore the secret entrance to the pyramid and the mysteries that it holds.

Before we examine the ancient monument that has stood proud for thousands of years secretly hiding the value of the ancient and future cubit in plain sight and see what else it reveals about our history and future, lets go back to the nature of the cubit itself: the splitting in halves of the double 55 to give us 27.5 inches.
Let’s look first to the Torah and last week’s portion. And as we do, we’ll reveal a secret encoding for the blessing of conception and childbirth, which in essence is the union of the two halves. For those that understand, the two halves are always the letters Vav and Hei of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH)
The Torah portion Vayera begins the 49th paragraph and 18th chapter of the Torah. It begins with the words Vayera Elav Adonai (VYRE ELYV YHVH), “God appeared to him,” of numerical value 290.
And note for the moment that that this first chapter of parsha Vayera ends at Bereshit 18:33, which matches up nicely with the gematria value (1833) of the first half of the Shem Mem-Bet (42-Letter Name of G-d), whose mid- point is marked with the letters Resh-Zadi (RZ) of numerical value 290. Readers of The Genesis Prayer already know this RZ gateway, or connection, at the very center of the 42-Letter Name matrix and its relationship between this gateway the Well of Miriam (also of numerical value 290) and the blessing of conception and childbirth, but in this article we’re going to focus primarily on the secret encoding of the Torah as it applies to this miracle/blessing.
Please note because it is not coincidence that there are 290 letters in the 4th paragraph of the Schema, the 1st of which has 42 words.
Nevertheless, before we do, let’s take a step back to the prior weeks’ portion Lech Lecha (LC LC, of numerical value 50-50) the only portion named after one of the Torah’s mysterious 89 double (duplicate) words. In this portion, we find in the 45th paragraph of the Torah the Covenant of G-d with Abraham, the one that promises that his descendants will be as numerous as the stars, also know as the Covenant of Halves. The readers of know full well that this event occurred, according to the sages of blessed memory in 2018 HC (see The Divine Calendar).
Let’s flash forward to Vayera, 20:18, the last verse in paragraph 50 of the Torah, which states, “God had previously sealed up every womb in Abimelech’s house, because of Abraham’s wife Sarah.”
Now it just so happens that this verse also contains a double word, Azir Azar (AZR AZR), the 17th double in the Torah, which is akin to the sum of the values of the initials of this portiosn first 3 words, (VYRE ELYV YHVH), 17. Moroever, each of these double words contains the same Resh-Zadi (RZ) combination as in the center of the 42 Letter Name.
We’ll get more into these mysterious doubles, but first the Torah is giving us some very practical spiritual advice if we want to conceive, even if like Sarah Amenu, we are 89 years old and born without a womb. In the verse just prior to this one, in 20:17, “Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, as well as his wife and slavegirls, so that they were able to have children.” In the very next verse, the first in chapter 21, Sarah is granted special providence by G-d to give birth to Isaac and begin to fulfill his Covenant with Abraham.
The practical and simple advice is to pray for others to conceive if your desire is for yourself or your wife to.
Now, it’s no coincidence that Isaac is conceived and born in the first 2 verses of chapter 21, just as the RZ combination in the Shem Mem-Bet is located at the 21st letter of the Name, the midpoint of the 42 letters.
Keeping in mind that the ordinal value of the letter Resh is 20 and Zadi is 18, the last 3 words of verse 20:18, are Sarah, wife of Abraham, (SRH EShT EBRHM) and with the kolel their numerical value sofit can be either 2017 or 2018.
Moreover, the next set of double words in the Torah is also in parsha Vayera, and they are “Abraham Abraham,” and not only are these the 18th pair of duplicate words, but the numerical value of Abraham is 248, the same as the Hebrew word for womb, rechem.
We further note that these verses, all related to the RZ combination and to childbirth, are in the 4th reading of the Vayera Torah portion, just as the RZ is in the center of the 4th line of the Ana B’koach (42-Letter Name), the level of Netzach, which is associated with the energy of victory and perseverance.
We’ll get more into the miracles embedded into these 89 mysterious double words as we get closer to Chanukah, not coincidentally also of numerical value 89, but for now, please note that the midpoint of these 89 words is the 45th one, Darosh Darash, connecting us back to where we began in the 45th Paragraph of the Torah and the Covenant of Abraham in 2018. Now Darosh Darash has the numerical value 504 – 504 and this location also splits the number of occurrences of the word value 504 into 25 and 25 per half, and while Darosh Darash is the 45th overall double, it is the 32nd unique one and the 32nd overall one just so happens to be CH CH of numerical value 25-25, representing not only the last two letters of Channukah (ChNVCH), but the date that the miracles of Channukah begin every year, the 25th of Kislev.
Now, getting back to the occurrence of this hidden blessing for childbirth in 20:18 of paragraph 50 of the Torah, we know that 50 always represents the sefira (dimension) Binah and always connects to the 50 jubilee years prescribed in the counting toward Moshiach and the geula (final redemption), and that 49 chapters after the Covenant of Halves in chapter 15 of Bereshit we have the end of exile and exodus from Egypt.
As part of that Covenant given in the year 2018 HC, G-d informs Abraham that his descendents will be in exile for 430 years and 2018 plus 430 years is 2448 HC, the year of the exodus, which just so happens to be 49 jubilee years (49 x 50) from Adam.
And of the 89 double word pairs in the Torah, 49 are unique after discounting for repeats, leaving (89 – 49) = 40 repeated double word pairs, as in the 40 jubilee years from Adam to the Covenant with Abraham in 2018 HC.
Then again there is the strange tale of Lot’s daughter getting impregnate by their father at the very end of paragraph 49. The descendant of that union many generation later would be King David, born 57.08 jubilee years after Adam., once again tying in the concept of childbirth and Mashiach.
Of course, with the symmetry of the two calendars as illustrated in The Divine Calendar, Abraham’s birth in 1948 HC is analogous to Israel’s birth in 1948 CE, which is 5708 HC; and 2018 HC seventy (70) years later is analogous to the date Rav Ashlag gave us for the arrival of Moshiach and the geula in 2018 CE, or 5778 in the Hebrew calendar.
And how does the 70 years play in to this?
A hundred different ways as per The Divine Calendar, but for this article just note that the letter Ayin in the double words (AZR AZR) at Bereshit 20:18 has a numerical value of 70 and that there are 3760 years from the year 2018 HC to 5778 HC, and 3760 = 42.24 x 89 with 422 being the numerical value of the word “seventy (70).”
Moreover, of those 89 mystical double words, all of which help bring us miracles especially that of childbirth, 3 are in the 1st chapter of the Torah, 12 in the next, leaving 70 more plus the four (4) that spell out “Ani YHVH Melech, Amen” or I am G-d, King, amen.” This is analogous to the path of the Jewish soul, as explained by the Arizal, from the YHVH to Adam (of numerical value 45) to the 3 Patriarchs to the 12 sons of Jacob to the 70 family members of Jacob to the 600,000 to the fulfillment of G-d’s Covenant with Abraham in paragraph 45 to make them more numerous than the stars.
And what does this all have to do with the 27.5 inch measure of the ancient and future cubit?
Well, the 42-Letter Name is derived from the 1st verse of the Torah, which ends in Resh-Zadi (RZ) and because these are the 27th and 28th letters of the Torah, we have (27+28)/2 = 55/2 = 27.5. Moreover, 89 x 27.5 = 2448, as in the year of the exodus 2448 HC. As for how that relates to 5778, we’ll just have to wait until the next article on that ancient monument of stone.
Meanwhile, tracing back to the first 3 words in Vayera–Vayera Elav YHVH, meaning G-d Appeared to him–we find that the middle word Elav, is repeated a short time later in the portion, this time with 3 dots over it, one of 10 times this occurs in the Torah, and we know from the sages that these 3 dots represent the 3 archangels that visted Abraham on the 3rd day of his circumcision—Michael, Gabriel, and Rachael—at the entrance to his tent. So not only are we being advised that if we persevere with our good spiritual intentions through our sufferings G-d will send us his angels, but with all the allusions to childbirth and to the arrival of Moshiach in 2018 CE, we are also being specifically advised to persevere with the right consciousness throughout the trials and tribulation of trying to conceive, and moreover through the next 9 years and the birth pangs of Moshiach.
And while G-d will fulfill his Covenant in 2018 (5778) for those that persevere and maintain the proper consciousness, Bereshit 20:18 described the closing of the wombs for everyone who held Sarah captive. And amongst those 89 duplicative words, the word pair Taroph Toraph (TtRP TtRP) appears twice, the first time in paragraph 73 when Joseph was 17 and of the 49 unique pairs, this is the 17th one. The word means to ravage, tear to pieces, and its while the numerical value of the pair is 578, the gematria sofit numerical value of the pair is 2018. Go figure!
Think about that. G-d set every word in the Torah for a reason. G-d set every word for a blessing. 89 of them he set twice. Maybe we should pay attention to them. Life is fraught with obstacles and suffering, but if we know where to look, it’s also full of blessings and the tools to manifest them.
There are two halves to everything, the physical, represented by the feminine receptive letter Hey of the numerical value (5) and the spiritual represented by the masculine giving letter vav of the numerical value (6), together they add up to 11, as in the 11 unique letters in the Torah’s first verse and the 11 incenses that completes the 89 lights of the Menora within the sanctuary of the Holy Temple.
We must also keep in mind, especially in the darkest times that there is a spiritual and a physical component to everything. Through that knowledge you will find the solution.
Tonight is the death anniversary of the great kabbalist Abraham Azulai, may his memory be for a blessing and may G-d bless us all.

The Torah portion Vaethchanan is always read right after Tisha B’Av, the day of utter darkness that always portends to hold the greatest light as the promised birth date of Moshiach Ben David. Long before the Final Solution, the destruction of the Holy Temples and the incident of the spies all occurred on Tisha B’Av, the 9th day of the month of Av, Abraham, the Patriarch, explained that the month of Av was controlled by the Hebrew letters Caf(C) and Tet(Tt), which divided the month spiritually into the first 9 days as indicated by the numerical value of the letter Tet(Tt) and the subsequent 20 days as indicated by the value of the letter Caf(C) and to the expression of the crowning sefira (dimension) of Keter. And in this portion, we always read the 42 words of the Shema’s first paragraph, the 10 Commandments, and the prophecies of the end of days as laid out by Moses.
Referring to the portion of Chukath that we discussed in our article “The Book of the Wars of the Lord,” the act of Moses striking the ground twice instead of following G-d commandment to him “to speak to the cliff (rock)” and that the value of that phrase was 848, or twice that of Mashiach Ben David (424). And also that the reason he did that was to shorten the time span of the arrival of the Moshiach by half, from the 5778 years as denoted by the tzaddikim to 2889 years, which is the midpoint in King David’s life, because Moses knew how strong the negative side would be today and how difficult it would be for us to overcome it. Furthermore, the Torah hinted of this in the words “water from the rock,” which was what came directly from his action, in that this phrase’s numerical value is 345, that of Moses, whose completed spirit it is said will be our redeemer, our Moshiach, in the end of days.
Moses knew that the evil inclination, like red wine grows stronger with age, but as previously discussed the evil inclination has its age limit as well, which one reason why wine (YYN) has the numerical value of 70 and is also one of the reasons we fill the Kiddush cup to the brim and look into it: to see an end to our judgments and an end (a limit) to the evil forces at the end of the 70 years. Moses knew G-d’s timing was at the end of the 70 years period from when Israel became a nation in 5708 (1948 CE), but he wanted to move that timing up to the end of the 70 years of King David’s life when we’d all have a better chance given the strength and Wisdom of King David and his son King Solomon. Moses knew it wasn’t really going to happen, but worth a try given what he knew of our odds today. But what he did bring us at the end of David’s 70 years was the First Holy Temple.
We’ve discussed other reasons in other articles, but one of the reasons Moses knew this was that when Jacob was given the name Israel, the numerical value of 359 was added to that of the name Jacob (182), and Israel of numerical value 541 became the father of all the Israelites, and the value of the word Satan (359), code for the evil inclination, became embedded as our stumbling block. So if at the end of the 70 years, the value of Satan could be extracted from Israel, we’d be left with Jacob, who is Zein Anpin, and the natural order would be restored. As the word for “In Seventy (B’ShBAYM),” it has the numerical value 424, that of Moshiach Ben David, so we see what awaits us at the end of the 70 years if we truly desire it enough to work for it.
As you will see, all this ties into pasha Vaethchanan, which starts off with Moses praying 515 times to enter the promised land in order to bring Moshiach once and for all. We’ve discussed this in prior articles about his obeying G-d’s request of him to stop at 515, when the 516th time would have achieved his desired result, so we’ll only point out that 848 – 515 = 333, as in the 3330 years that would transpire from the Exodus from Egypt and the reception of the Torah at Sinai when we were first offered the Tree-of-Life reality to the year 5778, when Rav Yehuda HaLevi Ashlag (HaSulam) of blessed memory and tells us we will next be offered that opportunity.
The reason it was so telling that the essence of Jacob (Zeir Anpin) will return at the end of days is that the geula (final redemption) is all about the mating (reuniting) of the 6 sefirot (dimensions) of Zeir Anpin with Malchut (our 10th sefirot/dimension), completing the circuitry, as it completes the 7 lower sefirot and restores the Tree-of-life structure/ reality back to its original state, before Adam chose the wrong tree or course for mankind.
We see this explained in the Zohar Vaethchanan 187- 190:
187: The Holy One, blessed be He, at the end of day, will return Israel to the holy land and gather them from exile. The end of days is that which is the last of the days,” and as Rav Ashlog explains, “[this is] Malchut, which is the last of the sefirot, called days.”
Section 187 continues to reiterate this and also explains part of the prophecy: “During the end of days Israel will suffer exile. This is what is meant by, ‘When you are in distress, and these things are come upon you, in the latter days’ (Devarim 4:30), and evil will befall you in the end of days’ (Devarim 31:29),” as we will discuss shortly. “Together with this end of days they receive punishment in exile. With it the Holy One, blessed be He, will wreak vengeances for Israel constantly…”
189: “Happy is the portion of he who sees him, [Moshiach], and happy is the portion of he who sees him not. Woe to him who shall be present when the great lion will demand to mate with his female, and more so when they will mate together,” which as Rav Aslog explains means, “Zeir Anpin with Malchut at the time of redemption.” The Zohar continues, “Of that hour it is written, ‘The lion has roared, who will not fear…’ (Amos 3:8)”
190: “Come and see, at first it is written, ‘He shall mightily roar because of His habitation’ (Yirmeyah 25:30). When Zeir Anpin will come out to receive his mate, Malchut, it is said, “The lion has roared, who will not fear’: “Adonai Elohim has spoken, who can but prophesy’ (Amos 3:8). At that time it is written, ‘then Hashem your Elohim will turn captivity’ (Devarim 30:3). What is meant by ‘turn’? [And he answers,] The Holy One, blessed be He, returns the congregation of Israel from exile, and the righteous returns to join its place….
And before we explain how Rav Ashlog derived the date of the final redemption as the year 5778, and why it is so, we need to see what the Zohar has to say in Vaetchanan 188:
“Once a shadow started to form at the beginning of the other day, as during the time when the Temple was destroyed when the shadow was about to be gathered. [When there will be] day and shadow, it will be the end of exile,” which Rav Ashlog explains means, “redemption will come when the shadow begins to emerge.” The Zohar continues, “The measure of that shadow is 6 thumbs long for the height of a man among men. This secret is remembered among the friends though the verse, ‘for we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow’ (Iyov 8:9), ‘for we are but yesterday,’ namely in exile; ‘and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow,’ which means the Holy One, blessed be He, wants the shadow and the day to rest upon the earth.”
To understand this, one must grasp that the Sun is Zeir Anpin, represented by the number 6, which coincides with the 6 thumbs and 6 feet of height of a man, but also that only the Sun, the giver of Light and life in our world, can create a shadow, and the temperature of the surface of the sun from which the light emanates is exactly 5778 K.
Neither Rav Ashlog 70 years ago, nor Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the author of the Zohar, 1900 years ago, nor Moses, 3330 years ago, knew about the temperature of the sun, yet they knew the date, the length of the shadow cast by the tree-of-Knowledge of good and evil over our world.
It’s important to understand that the 6 sefirot (dimensions) of Zeir Anpin, denoted by the number 6, can be expressed as 60, 600, 6000… or as 6, 66, 666… or even 6 x 6 x 6, depending on subtle interpretations of the sub-sefirot at each level.
As the Zohar implies here and more explicated elsewhere, the commonly thought date for the Moshiach and redemption is at the end of the 5th millennium, around the year 6000, or 6 x 1000. These 6 thousands correspond the 6 letter Alefs (E) of Creation, in other words in the Torah’s first verse. The letter Alef (E), the first in the Hebrew Alphabet, of numerical value 1, is spelled ELP, which has a numerical value of 111, and as the Arizal explains, it also spells out the word Elef (ELP), meaning 1000, thus the 6 Alefs of Creation equal 6, 666, and 6000 respectively, all representative of Zeir Anpin.
Just so we know, every 1000 years is 1/1730702 of 5778, which makes perfect sense since the 7 words of the Torah’s first verse come right out of the 42-Letter Name of G-d, whose small gematria value is 173 and 702 remainder is the numerical value of the word Shabbat, which is the malchut or final level, so that each 1000 years stretches from keter to machut.
Now, the 3rd word of the Torah is the Name of G-d Elohim, which is representative of the Malchut aspect of G-d, that of nature following its course. The last concept to understand is that Zeir Anpin is divided into an upper 1/3 and a lower 2/3, which while simple is really so complex that the Arizal has spent volumes on it, but today we confine ourselves to the simple understanding that 1/3 =.333… and 2/3 = .666…
So with that stated, we can examine the Length of the Shadow as Rav Ashlag witnessed it: Applying the 3 column tree-of-life structure to the 6000 year period (or 6 Alefs) we see that it breaks down to 3 iterations of 2/3.
6000 x .666 = 4000
4000 x .666 = 1333…
1333 x .666 = 444…
5778
As Rav Ashlag specifically pointed out, the final 2/3 period began with the death of the Arizal himself in (4000+1333) or 5333.
But we should also note that the digits in 4000, 1333, and 444 = 4+0+0+0+1+3+3+3+4+4+4 = 26, the numerical value of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH). Couldn’t be coincidental, could it?
Before examine further this divine equation (time-frame) in the 3-column structure let’s go back to the Torah portion Vaetchanan and the chapter where many of the prophecies are given, Devarim 4. As a clue to the connection to Moses’ pleas and actions of striking the rock twice on our behalf in order to bring Moshiach earlier than the proscribed divine time frame, this is chapter is the 515th chapter in the Torah, and there are four phrases within this chapter of numerical value 848, including one at Devarim 4:40 “A long time in the land that God your Lord [is giving you for all time],” but we’ll get into Moses prophecies a little later.
In that same verse, Devarim 4:40, Moses uses the words “All time,” referring to the land that God our Lord is giving us for all time. “All time “kol h’yamim” is spelled in Hebrew CL HYMYM, which breaks down to kol (all) of numerical value 50, representing the 50 gates of Binah the Biblical jubilee year (50-years long), and the word value 50 is coupled with “the time” or “the days” h’yamim (HYMYM), which with the kolel of 1 has the numerical value of 666. Thus together they give us 50 x 66.6 jubilee years= 3330 years, which, as we’ve said, is the exact period of time from the first exodus and the reception of the Torah at Sinai when the tree-of-life was last offered to us in 2448 to the year 5778, which the tzaddikim have long known will be the next cosmic window for the Tree-of-life reality.
And not coincidentally, in the very next chapter, the 516th chapter, coinciding with the 516 times that Moses needed to pray/plea to enter the promised land and bring in the Tree-of-life, we have the retelling of the 10 Commandments (Utterances).
But back to the divine 3-column equation:
6000 x .666 = 4000
4000 x .666 = 1333…
1333 x .666 = 444…
5778
4000 = 6 x 666…years; 1333 = 2 x 666…years ; and 444 = 2/3 x 666…. years
for a total of 6 + 2 + 2/3 or 8 2/3 x 666 years. And going back to the seed of Creation, we see that the numerical value of the first 8 and 2/3 letters of the Torah (BREShYT BRE) is 1115.6, which magnificently coincides with the 115.6 jubilee years from the dawn of time (Adam) to the year 5778.
Moreover, when we take the figure of 66.6 jubilee years into account, rather than the generic 666, this divine 3-column structure also gives us:
4000 = 60 x 66.6…years; 1333 = 20 x 66.6…years ; and 444 = 6.666 x 66.6…. years
for a total of 86.666 x 66.6 years, and since 86 is the numerical value of Elohim, the 3rd and very next word after (BREShYT BRE), and since Elohim is the Name of G-d associated with the sefira (dimension) of Malchut, and since as discussed, 666 represents Zeir Anpin, we find that the 3-column structure of the divine equation not only brings the first 2/3 (Bereshit bre) of the first 3 words of the Torah together with the last 1/3 of those first 3 words (Elohim), but it couples (mates) Zeir Anpin with Malchut in the year 5778, as indicated in the Zohar would happen at the time of the final redemption.
As an aside, and keep in mind that the revealing phrase “all time” was in Devarim 4:40, the gematria sofit value of those first 3 words is 1776, as in the year of the formation of the United States and as in 1 more that the total value of the 27 letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, 1775. We’ve covered the US role in the grand scheme of things in previous articles and also President Obama’s role as our 44th President and how that relates to the 10 plagues, whose first plague has the numerical value of 44 and whose second plague interestingly enough has the numerical value of 444, which we can now relate to the final 444 year period from the birth of the Arizal to the year 5778. We only mention this because two of the 3 columns of the divine equation 444 and 1333 equate to 444 + 1332 = 1776 when the 666.666 is rounded off to 666.
And for anyone unaware, the year 5778 is the year 2018, exactly 10 years after the financial crises began in the US. And as discussed in numerous articles and at length in The Divine Calendar, the year 2018 CE corresponds numerically to the year 2018 HC, the year G-d made his Covenant with Abraham, to which the prophecies and promises of Vaetchanan relate and refer.
And for those interested, the date that Moses was trying to shorten our time frame to was 2889, or midway through King David’s life and half of 5778, but 44 x 66.6 years is 2930, only 2 years after the First Holy Temple was built. And if you recall from our article on the Tetragrammaton, it spells out quite clearly 5778 as well, with the numerical value of the Malchut aspect of the Tetragrammaton (YVD HH VV HH) being 52 and with 5778/52 = 111.11538, we see that 2889 = 26 x 111.11538. And while we wont reiterate here the significance of .11538, remember that it all harks back to the first 6 alefs of Creation, each of numerical value 111.
When discussing the 6 alefs (E) and the time-frame of 6000 years, it’s interesting that up until the portion Vaetchanan there are exactly 6000 letter Dalets, of numerical value 4 and as stated above, it is in the 4th chapter within Vaetchanan that we learn of Moses’ prophecies about the 4 exiles. And we knew to pay attention to the letters because Vaetchanan begins with the 4995th verse in the Torah and the total value of the 27 Hebrew letters, using gematria sofit, is 4995. That said, in Devarim 4:23 Moses advises us. “Be careful that you nor forget the covenant that God your Lord made with you, [Do not] make for yourself any statue image that is forbidden by God,” and in 4:24, corresponding to the value of Moshiach Ben David (424), he continues, “God your Lord is a consuming fire, a God demanding exclusive allegiance.”
Here in the same portion where we have the Shema and the line “Hear O Israel, the Lord our G-d, G-d is One” we see it clearly stated that there is One G-d and we should not be worshipping anyone else or anything else, nor any image of anyone or anything else. It’s hinted at that if we obey that simple commandment we will merit Moshiach Ben David, but if not, then in 4:25 Moses begins to tell us the prophecies what will happen to us because he knew we wouldn’t fulfill that commandment.
“When you have children and grandchildren and have been established in the land a long time, you might become decadent and make a statue of some image, committing an evil act in the eyes of God your Lord and making Him angry.” 4:26 “I call upon heaven and earth as witnesses for you today that you will then quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to occupy. You will not remain there very long, since you will be utterly destroyed.” 4:27 “God will then scatter you among the nations and only a small number will remain among the nations to which God will lead you.” 4:28 “There you will serve gods that man have made out of wood and stone, which cannot see, hear, eat or smell.”
Through here, Moses appears to be describing the events of first century CE, when we were established in the land a long time and we were about 66.6% (2/3) of the way to 5778. It was known as a time of decadence (though not as bad as our generation) and many Israelites turned away from the One G-d commandment and began accepting the plausibility of praying to more than one god, which led to praying to images of that second god. Moses had even advised that the reason G-d didn’t let the Israelites at Sinai see Him was so they would make no images of Him with which to worship—it was that important that people worship directly. Yet as Moses foresaw, they did, and the Holy Temple was destroyed and the Israelites were scattered among the nations of the earth in small pockets. And there, also as Moses foresaw, they (we) served the men that made those idols and later more idols and more items to idolize, until we were like Abraham alone amongst the idols made by his father Terach in the final years between his birth in 1948 HC and the Covenant of the Lord 70 years later in 2018 HC.
And like those dates 3760 years ago, or 10 x 376 (the value of Shalom/peace), with the birth of Abraham in 1948 HC and the birth of Israel in 1948 CE we hear Moses’ words from Devarim 4:29 “Then you will begin to seek God your Lord, and if you pursue Him with all your heart and soul, you will eventually find Him.” 4:30 “When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, you will finally return to you’re your Lord and obey him.” 4:31 “God your Lord is a merciful Power, and He will not abandon you or destroy you; He will not forget the oath He made upholding your father’s covenant [3760 years earlier in 2018 HC].”
Then in Devarim 4:32 Moses cryptically advises us “inquire about times” [by] “going back to” [Creation], where in the 7 words of the Torah’s first verse we found the answer 5778 spelled out for us.
But in Devarim 4:40 where we encountered both the prophetic numerical value 848 in “A long time in the land that God your Lord [is giving you for time],” and in the words “All time,” referring to the land that God our Lord is giving us for all time, which revealed to us the equation 50 x 66.6 = 3330, we also find that the full phrase “I am presenting to you today, so that He will be good to you and your children after you. Then you will endure for a long time in the land that God” has the numerical value 5777, and is only one of 13 phrases in the Torah with that value (4000+1333+444), with the number 13 being the value of ahava (love) and Echad (one) as in “G-d is One” found later in this portion.
But we jumped ahead a verse and back in Devarim 4:33-34 Moses asks, “Has any nation ever heard God speaking out of fire, as you have, and still survived? Has God ever done miracles bringing one nation out of a another nation with such tremendous miracles, signs, wonders, war, a mighty hand and outstretched arm, and terrifying phenomena, as God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?” Yes, the 10 occurrences that Moses listed correspond to the 10 plagues figuratively, which we alluded to earlier, but remember Moses is prophesying about the future hear, the final days, so he’s connecting us to the 10 sefirot of the Tree-of-life reality of the 10 Commandments, which will shortly follow this verse in the very next chapter, and also to what G-d will do for us yet again in the final days and final 10 years leading up to the final redemption in order to bring us back into the fold.
Devarim 4:35 “You are the ones who have been shown, so that you will know that God is the Supreme Being, and there is none besides Him.” As we’ve made the point in previous articles, G-d didn’t make the plagues to impress Pharaoh; they were to awaken us.
Devarim 4:38, the prophecy continues, “He will drive away before you nations that are greater and stronger than you, so as to bring you to their lands, and give them to you as a heritage, as today.”
And then one more time Moses tells us in Devarim 4:39, “Realize it today and ponder it in your heart: God is the Supreme Being in heaven above and on the earth beneath—there is no other.” There are 5 instances within these verses of Devarim chapter 4 where a phrase has numerical value of either 2017 or 2018, and two more, making 7, if we consider 2019, the year following 5778 when the Tree-of-life reality will be in effect, beginning with the verse 4:1 “Now Israel, listen to the rules and the laws…” (Israel Shema…”
From the prophecies of chapter 4, we receive the Tree-of-life through the 10 Commandments (Utterances) in chapter 5 and then in chapter 6, we hear the words listen Israel again, especially in the first 6 words of the “Shema Israel” followed by the 42 words of the Shema’s first paragraph.
In the verse just prior to the Shema, which also begins with “listen Israel,” tying the meaning of these verses together, Moses, speaking to our generation (“children’s children”) tells us that if we remain in awe of G-d and do what was proscribed, things will go well for us in the land flowing with milk and honey as G-d, Lord of our fathers, promised us.
“Shema Israel Adonai Elohenu Adonai Echad”
“Listen, Israel, God is our Lord, God is One”
The first and last word of the famous verse, the words with enlarged final letters, Shema – Echad (ShMA EchD), add up numerically plus the 1 (kolel) to 424, Moshiach Ben David, and the enlarged letters, are Ayin and Dalet, spelling “witness” as the sages have told us, but they also have the numerical values 70 and 4 respectively, signifying the coming of Moshiach and the end of the 4th exile at the end of the 70 years from Israel’s statehood in 1948 and also the end of the 4th exile that began 1948 years earlier in 70 CE with the destruction of the Second Holy Temple.
There are innumerable secrets embedded in the Shema and in the this portion, and this article is way too long as it is, so we will only point out a few for now.
Right off the bat it’s well know that the Shema’s first paragraph is connected to the 42-Letter name of G-d, but if we observe the 5 verses that comprise the 42 words of the Shema’s first paragraph, we see that they all begin with a Vav(V) and end with a letter Caf(C), which together for Caf-Vav or 26, the numerical value of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH) and also that the first and last letters of the paragraph thus also form Caf-Vav as do the first 21 and last 21 words of the paragraph. But Vav-Caf sofit as its actually written in these 8 instances has the numerical value of 506, as in that of the first line (7 letters) of the 42-Letter Name matrix (Ana B’koach), and the word for “unconditional love” which is the point of it all.
We mentioned the splitting of the paragraph into two halves as we find that the words and word values for Brit MB or Covenant of 42 are found right in the center and initials of those first 21 words with the kolel of 1 add up to 358, Mashiach. And it is also in the very midpoint of the 42 Letters of the 42-Letter Name (Shem MB) that we find the word Brit (BRYT ), or Covenant, spelled out as well. And lets not forget that the Covenant of Abraham was called the Covenant of Halves.
Moreover it in the 4th verse of this 42-word first paragraph of the Shema that we’re told to “Bind [these words] as a sign on your hand, and let them be an emblem on your head,” which is the reason not only do the tefillin contain this paragraph of the Torah, but that there are 21 YHVH’s in the hand tefillin and 21 YHVH’s in the head tefillin for a total of 42. And this means that each of the two tefillin connects to the numerical value of 21 x 26 = 546, which is the sum total of the initials of the 10 sefirot (dimensions).
But what’s more, if we search out words beginning with Vav (V) and connect them to the very next word ending with Caf (C) sofit within the first paragraph of the Shema, we find 13 more V-C combinations making a total of 21 within that first paragraph (42-words) of the Shema, and thus once again 21 x 26 = 546, which is the sum total of the initials of the 10 sefirot (dimensions).
And this is the secret of this 45th Torah portion, Va’etchanan, to help us and to show us repeatedly how to reconnect with the 10 sefirot, the Tree-of-Life reality
Shabbat Shalom

I have a special fondness for the Baal Shem Tov and all the stories about him, so this past Shabbat as I read yet another of them I realized the he too, as a youth, along with his teacher had tried to bring the revelation of Moshiach (the Messiah) before his time. His teacher died that very night and we nearly lost the Baal Shem Tov as well. Every tzaddik, including the Arizal, who has tried to bring the geula and/or the H’Mashiach before his understood manifestation in 5778 has met with quick tragedy.
These were the highest-level souls. They knew exactly when Mashiach was supposed to come, so why did they tempt fate? The easy answer is that they knew our suffering, that of their day and that of the future, and they wanted to relieve it, but they also knew better.
In our last article (“The Book of the Wars of the Lord”) we advised that the numerical value of “speak to the rock” is 848, or 2 x 424, the numerical value of Moshiach Ben David, so when Moses struck the rock twice, he was trying to bring the geula (final redemption) with the revelation of Moshiach. And indeed, Moses was trying to shorten the time frame by half. Half of 5778 is the year 2889, the midpoint in the life of King David, and exactly 441 years after the Tree-of-Life was first offered to us at Mt Sinai in 2448. The value 441 is that of Emet, Truth, as in the Torah, which is known as Truth. Moses was trying to make David H’Moshiach, rather than making us wait another 2889 years for Moshiach Ben David.
G-d’s answer to Moses was found in the beginning of Pasha Pinchas with the broken vav (the staff) in the words Et Briti Shalom, the Covenant of Peace, where the letter vav in Shalom is broken, representing among other spiritual things, the incompletion of the Torah that must must wait until the end-of-days. The gematria of Briti Shalom including the kolel for the 2 words is 1000. We can look at that vav with the hairline split as a 6 missing a sections and come up with 6000 less a hair, and as we’ll see Ezekial showing us later, it was 222. Nevertheless, in our last article we spoke once again about the 408 missing letters necessary to complete the perfect 600,000 and 408 vavs or 408 x 6 = 2448, the year we received the Torah, but also the year the first set of tablets were broken, like the vav in Shalom.
That said, the word before the Covenant of Peace is Lo, “No” (using an unconventional spelling) and the value of the word Et added between “No” and “Covenant of Peace” is 401, which only makes sense if you add 401 years to the year Moses struck the rock, 2488 and get 2889, the year he tried to bring the geula.
If that vav in “LO” normally spelled “LE” is added to the article “ET” we get 407 whose square root is 20.17424, or graphically the year 2017 (5778 HC) with 424, Moshiach Ben David. In other words, G-d’s reply.
But the tzaddikim were the closest humans to G-d and no one was closer to Him than Moses and yet not even Moses could change G-d’s Will on this matter. Moreover, who understood better than he and them the futility in trying? In the last article we also pointed out that the gematria with the kolel of the “Book of the Wars of the Lord” (BSPR MLChMT YHVH) was 888, and that the value of the spelled out letters plus their kolel in the word Moshiach (MShYCh) is also 888. Now, we’d also like to point out that, as revealed in Parsha Pinchas, the Mountain were G-d told Moses to go to see the Land he would not be entering because he struck the rock, Israel , and where he would be gathered up unto his people, Mt. Avarim (HABRYM), was also 888, when the kolel of 1 was added.
G-d was making a statement here. Moses was punished immediately for trying to foreshorten the time of the geula, but G-d already knew he would attempt it. Even before Moses went to Pharaoh to obtain the release of the Israelites, G-d stated that He wanted to kill Moses. Yet He let it all play out.
Discussing these thoughts with a friend this Shabbat, it struck me why Moses, the Baal Shem Tov, the Arizal and so many other brave and knowledgeable tzaddikim attempted this. Ask this question of yourself: what would motivate such a high level and caring soul to risk the wrath of G-d Himself.
It wasn’t because they had a lapse in ego, it was because they were at such a level and understood their sacrifice.
It was precisely because they saw what would happen in 5778. And what wouldn’t happen then. Moses saw not just the Land of Israel, but also the Land of all time. He knew how faith would deteriorate and how few of us would actually see the Tree-of-life. Moses knew he had a better chance of bringing the Tree-of-life in the inappropriate moment than we would in its proper time.
5778 is 9 years away; how many people today get it? Moses and the tzaddikim realized that those with any interest at all in our generation would sit around waiting for Moshiach to save them and that this was so futile because the only way to bring Moshiach into our lives and to receive the Tree-of-Life reality is to take action. They further realized that there was no one like them to lead the people into these final battles, so what choice did they have but to try to fight the battle on their own turf?
But they forgot that G-d knew that too. We can still prove them wrong and stand up for ourselves. Let not G-d ask of us, “Why you did not have enough faith in Me?”
We can yet complete his work.
Ezekiel’s Vision
In Ezekiel 1:4, the prophet Ezekiel had his first of 10 recorded visions, and from this the Zohar and the kabbalists gleaned the four kinds of klipot (negative husks) that separate us from the Tree-of-life reality. The klipot nogah are the ones described as a translucent glow. They are in a state of both purity and impurity and can be converted into holiness or empowered into negativity, depending on our interactions with them. The other 3 are completely negative and can only be broken, not elevated. As they are completely metaphysical a physical description of them is misleading, but there is also something odd about it, considering that it was written 2500+ years ago.
Ezekiel describes the 3 completely impure klipot as “Stormy wind”, “Big Cloud”, “Igniting (or flashing) Fire,” which if we put it all together sequentially with the glow of the klipot Noga, we have a nuclear explosion: the blast shock wave, followed by the mushroom cloud, followed by the fireball and flashing ignition, and finally the translucent glow (of radiation).
Books have been written about the spiritual depth of his visions and we won’t even attempt to touch on them here, but the image is powerful as we see the immense forces that can be released from the separation of good and evil and can imagine the strength with which the evil is clinging to our world.
But there is an antidote, and a time frame built into it.
Like the bases of our DNA in Hebrew (ETGC), numerical values of the initials of the 4 types of klipot, (N, RS, AG, EM) add up to 424, Moshiach Ben David.
G-d wants to give us every possible chance.
And while that nuclear bond is so strong, the inverse of the exact atomic weight of Uranium238 is 42, as 1/42 = .0238095. We have our ultimate weapon to win the wars of the Lord: the 42-Letter Name of G-d used in creation itself.
And we have the date built into that weapon. The small gematria value of the 7 lines of the 42-Letters in the Name of G-d is 173, which we know from the Zohar were the 173 keys given to Moses. And the inverse of 173 is 1/173.07 = .00577800.
In Parsha Pinchas, G-d has the Israelites take yet another tally and in the end there are 601730 of them or 600,000 plus (173 x10), and we know from the Arizal that the soul root of the Israelites is traced through the 600,000/70 Family Members/12 Brothers/3 Patriarchs/Adam or
1/(600000/70/12/3) = 42
and thus in the end the Torah is telling us to look to the 173 keys, to the 42-Letter Name of G-d.
Zohar Pinchas 248. “When Ezekiel saw the Shechinah among the klipot, he saw with her ten sefirot, without any separation whatsoever, and these are the brain that is among all of them. He saw them within the earthly river K’var (CBR),” which Rav Ashlag explains is a permutation of the earthly Chariot (RCB). These are all tied to Metatron, but that is for another day. Just note that the gematria of CBR and thus RCB are both 222.
A little later the Zohar explains about the next part of his vision where the four living creatures come out from the 4 klipot and the Chariot and Throne of G-d is described.
Zohar Pinchas 251: “He [Metatron] leads the four living creatures and includes ‘The Throne has six steps’ (I Melachim 10:19), which are six. Rav Ashlog explains that these are the 6 sefirot of Zeir Anpin of Atzilut. With the 6 steps we have 6000.
And thus the vision reveals the combination of the steps to the Throne and the Chariot: 6000 – 222 = 5778.
We’ll get deeper into his visions later.

Bravo! Kudos to Mordechai O. who picked up the the challenge and noticed a profound connection within the 5 core Torah elements that we’ve been discussing in our last two articles (It’s a Beautiful Thing, and Even More Beautiful). I noticed a much more coincidental one considering that the sum of all the digits in those 5 elements equals 109 and that is that we’ve just completed our 109th post.
187 chapters; 670 paragraphs; 304805 letters; 79976 words; 5845 verses
Yes, that too is unplanned destiny, but what Modrechai recalled from one of our much earlier posts is of real significance: It’s that 109 is the gematria of “David H’Melech,” King David.
That is even more significant considering that the midpoint from the 5778 years Adam to Moshiach is the midpoint in King David’s life (2889 HC) and that as Mordechai further pointed out, the sum of the digits in the 5 core quantitative elements divided by 5, in other words their average value, is 21.8, reminiscent of 2018, the year Hebrew year 5778.
What this also means is that the value of “David H’Melech” or 109 also marks the midpoint to 2018 (5778), and that the Divine Calendar was indeed designed into the overall structure of the Torah.
And indeed, following the pattern of halves that Mordechai unearthed for all of us, we find that the square root of the sum of the 5 total elements is 442.426.., or depending how we look at it 4 coupled with 424 (Moshiach Ben David) coupled with 26 with both 4 and 26 being the most basic and common representations of the 4 letters (YHVH) of the Tetragrammaton.
And lets not forget that G-d’s Covenant with Abraham in 2018 HC was called the Covenant of Halves.
There are many many more secrets in these numbers and much more light to be revealed through them, such as the 670 paragraphs divided by the 187 chapters give us an average of 3.5828… paragraphs/chapter with 358 being the numerical value of Mashiach (messiah) and 28 being one of the core/key Torah numbers as revealed in The Genesis Prayer and in Nothing is Random in the Universe. And as Mordechai also pointed out: 28 is the sum of the digits in 391,483, which is the sum of the 5 quantitative core Torah elements.
And as I just realized, 28 + 109, all the digits in the cosmic equation (187 chapters+ 670 paragraphs+304805 letters+ 79976 words+ 5845 verses = 391,483) totals 137, as in the numerical value of kabbalah, meaning “to receive.”
One other quick note to point out is that when in the previous article we separated the digits in the 5 elements into those that correspond to 5778 (5,7 and and all the others, which totaled 67 and 42 respectively, what we left out was that the square root of 67 x 42 is 53.0… and that 53 x 109 = 5777.
Also, in the previous article, we said the sum of the 5 elements divided by 67 (Binah) = 5843, or 2 less than the number of verses 5845, and we asked why are there 2 missing. We won’t answer that today, but we will point out that the sequence 5843 is the verse of the number of letters in the Torah: 304805 so quite obviously this was extremely intentional on the part of the creator, and all the energy of the Torah derives from Binah.
There are still tons of secrets cloaked within these numbers and a huge amount of light to be revealed, so give it a try, peel back some layers from yourself and the universe, and stare deep into the scaffolding that the Torah was built on, then share the light with the rest of us.

If you’ve been reading our articles, you may feel like you’ve been collecting pieces of the giant cosmic puzzle, so here are few more key ones.
Coincidentally, or not, it was on L’ag B’Omer 2009 that we began sending out the first ever published translations of the Tikunei Zohar through our Daily Zohar Email Project and began it with the portion of the Idra Zuta, where we find Rabbi Shimon’s death bed revelations about the jubilee year and about the geula in the end of days.

Sometimes we forget what spirituality is all about…
Why are there 6 Days of Creation? Why are the 42 rows of the first column of the Torah (Bible) divided into 6 paragraphs, averaging 7 lines per paragraph?
Why are there 6 letters in the first word of the Torah, Bereshit, “In the beginning”?
Why was Moses’ name left out of 6 portions of the Torah after he appeared? And why do all but 6 columns of the Torah begin with the letter vav of numerical value 6? And why do 60% of the verses begin with the letter vav of numerical value 6?
Why did Pharaoh send 600 chariots after us?
According to the Zohar (Ki Thisa), Moses was “6“, Shesh (ShSh)of numerical value 600. He was Zeir Anpin (the bundled 6 sefirot/dimensions), the “6 extremities” that spread out in 6 directions: north, south, east, west, up and down. Like no one else, Moses was connected to da’at of Abba; he was our channel for everything.
Adam was Zeir Anpin as well, which is why the gematria of Adam is 45, that of the aspect of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH: MaH) that refers to Zeir Anpin. This is why the name Moshe (MShH) contains the letters Mem and Hey (MaH). This goes for Matzah (MZH) as well, but that’s a Pesach story.
Moses was our Channel
The verse “G-d spoke to Moses,” “V’Ydaber Adonai El Moshe…(VYDBR YHVH EL MShH)” is found 91 times in the Torah, and as discussed in previous blogs 91 is the value of the all-important unification of the YHVH with Adonai (YEHDVNHY), the connection between Zeir Anpin and the Shechina, (the female aspect of G-d that pertains to our world), the very connection that Moses makes for us, the bond between Heaven and Earth.
But what are we doing for ourselves?
“V’Ydaber Adonai El Moshe…” is the most numerous verse in the Torah, and the Torah is making this connection for us with Moses as our channel. All we need to do is listen to it with the right consciousness and understanding and 91 times during the year, 1 for every 4 days of the year, the window of unification opens for us, not to mention the multiple times a day this phrase is recited in the daily prayers.
There are 4 words in “Y’Ydaber Adonai El Moshe.” The last two “El Moshe” have the numerical value (376) of Shalom (peace) and the first two “V’Ydaber Adonai” (248) of rachem (mercy/grace). Together all 4 words (222 + 26 +31 +345) equal 624, and adding 1 for the kolel gives us 625, as in the highest dimension, H’Keter, “The crown,” and also as in the exact square root (625) of the total number of words, verses, and letters in the Torah (390,625).
“God spoke to Moses” is obviously a powerful phrase. It’s also the most numerous in the Torah. Why? Because G-d knew we needed the energy, and at the 10 Commandments (Utterances) we cried out for Moses to be our go between, missing an amazing opportunity as previously discussed to tap directly into the tree-of-life reality.
While the ordinal value of the first word “V’Ydaber” is 42, the last 3 words “Adonai El Moshe” add up to 402, and the sum of the ordinal and standard values of “El Moshe” alone add up to 428, which all makes perfect sense since the 42-Letter Name of G-d matrix is the unification of the 7 lower sefirot (dimensions) in the 6 extremities (6 x 7 = 42), all of which pertain to Moses in unison with the Shechinah, whose numerical value by the way is 390, as in the 390,625 total words, verses and letters in the Torah.
This is indeed a most powerful gift. But just as with children who receive too many gifts, we can get spoiled.
Most of us have forgotten what it’s all about. And we’re not just talking about the many gifts we highlight and reveal on this blog; we’re talking about the endless gifts all around us that so few actually appreciate.
With all the tools and knowledge available to us, sometimes we forget that our purpose is not to work on others, but on ourselves.
And most of us have forgotten how. We were happy to let Moses and other do the work for us. But just because they were doing their work doesn’t mean we needn’t do ours. On the contrary, they got to their exalted levels only by doing their work.
Ma’aser Bereshit
The Works of Creation
G-d created the world in 6 days. How did he do that? He reached within and worked on Himself for 6 days in 6 extremities in 6 directions. We need to emulate His actions. Everything we need to know occurred during those 6 days. Nevertheless, by the 7th day, the tree-of-life reality was fully established and G-d no longer had to work.
We must do as G-d did. Only when we control our lives can we control the universe around us, not the other way around. The tools and Names can help us, and the more we work on ourselves, the more effectively they do, but they can only get us out of jambs; they cannot change who we are, or even elevate us spiritually. We can only do that ourselves.
Who did G0d turn to to create the universe? To Himself. And so we too must look inward, search and purify our intentions in all 6 directions and work toward our goals. G-d did not rest until everything was done, day or night.
The Torah begins: “In the Beginning, G-d created heaven and earth.” “In the Beginning” seems to imply, that later, someone else created it. And so they did. We did, Man (adam) did. We created another universe. We were stripped naked and began creating it all over from scratch, imparting all our limitations on it each step of the way, comparing notes, and forcing our opinions on one another until we had a consensus reality that masked and confounded everything that G0d had created for us.
In Proportion
Biblically speaking and kabbalistically, 6 days is 6 years is 6 decades is 6 hundred years is 6 thousand years. The 10 dimensions (sefirot) fold into themselves in magnitudes of 10, so they are essentially the same.
The 7th day is a day of rest, the 7th year is a year of rest (a shmittah year).
Man creates for 6 decades, and in the 7th, at 70 years he rests. That is why King David lived for 70 years. And also why the exile in Babylonia lasted for 70 years, and also why there were all those other 70-year Biblical time frames highlighted in The Divine Calendar, and why while Moshiach (the Messiah) is supposed to arrive 70 years after Israel became a nation.
The 7th millennium is the time set aside for the tree-of life. As explained in previous blogs we missed the first window when 6 periods of 408 years had passed in 2448, when the 10 Commandments (Utterances) were given. Now, the next window opens when 6 periods of 1000 years have passed (less the 222 years or 6 x 37 time period that the Zohar tells us existed prior to Adam) in 5778. And by the way, “V’Ydaber” has the numerical value 222.
So what was G-d doing during those first 6 days; He was being Proactive.
When we’re proactive, constantly proactive, there’s no time for the dark side to engage and sidetrack us. All successful people have one thing in common they are proactive. Yes, that is “the secret.”
Proactivity = Creation
That is how we take control of our lives. When you are proactive it is you who are deciding your future, not someone else.
While not necessarily spiritual men, Donald Trump, Bill gates, Warren Buffet, Steven Jobs and Sam Walton didn’t wait around to react to the markets and to opportunities; they made their own. They were proactive. They went out to create things, about a trillion dollars worth of things. They are not G-d. They are not supermen. They are just men being proactive, and that’s just in only one area of their lives.
If they can do it, why not you?
You have so many more spiritual tools available to you than they did. Don’t let doubt get in your way. Being proactive means not allowing any time for doubts to creep in. Just do it and do it and do it. Be like G-d. Or if you want money, lots of it, be like Warren Buffet.
There are 6 extremities and creating financial wealth is only one extremity. It’s what you do with that wealth and how you treat people along the way that makes someone spiritual.
Obama didn’t become President by waiting around to be asked. He is the consummate proactive person. And while I don’t agree with much of what he’s doing, he has continued being proactive and nonstop in his actions so far while President, not leaving room for the darkness to distract and sidetrack him.
It’s only while I’m writing that I’m actually creating. If I stop and think and ponder and research for 5 weeks and then write for 5 hours, I’m still only creating for 5 hours.
Are you as proactive as you can be? In all areas of your life? In any area of your life? The answer is obviously no because we can always do more.
We spend much of lives trying to get through them and using the spiritual tools to patch up the messes we make for ourselves rather than taking control by being constantly proactive and not leaving ourselves anytime to screw things up by being reactive.
The true spiritual path is that of creator, not of receptor. And we can only create by doing, and we can only do by being proactive. Any moment that we are not proactive and moving ourselves forward, we are just playing cards with our spiritual opponent, and you know how that will turn out. He doesn’t lose.
Think about that: Any moment that you are not being proactive, you are opening yourself up to failure of one kind or another. In a single hour, in 60 minutes, any 60 minutes of the day, how many of those minutes were you proactive? And how many have gone by unused in your pursuits to fill the 6 extremities?
I can tell you for a fact that Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Donald Trump, Steven Jobs and Barack Obama didn’t waste many of those minutes. Because we can see their results.
And that’s the beauty of the system: Feedback, universal feedback. The universe shows us in no uncertain terms whether we’re being proactive or not. That’s why in Creation it says G-d looked at what he’d done that day and “God saw all that he had made, and behold, it was very good.” He worked non-stop day and night (proactively) and by measuring all his accomplishments that day He knew that he hadn’t wasted any time.
Yes, on our spiritual paths G-d (the universe, the Light) throws many obstacles our way, but if you’re proactive you’ll roll right through them, often without noticing, because He also throws many opportunities our way, and it’s only by being proactive that we can take advantage of those opportunities.
Take this article for instance, you can read it and wait for the next one, or you can immediately be proactive and send it and/or the link out to as many people as possible. We all know the benefit of sharing–that’s being proactive. And if you want to make sure you realize the maximum amount of benefit and spiritual good will from it, recite the Ana B’koach (42-letter Name, Shem Mem-Bet) while doing it. Why do you think the works of Creation are called Ma’aser Bereshit? Or that the Torah (Bible) is embedded with so many gifts based on the number 42 or on the Name itself?
As shown and explained in The Genesis Prayer, the 42-letter Name is what was used to create everything and every time we use it we tap into that energy; now all we have to do is couple it with our own creative (proactive) energy.
But don’t stop there. That will only take you a few minutes. Make the calls you need to make, do the actions you need to do to become fulfilled. Make yourself successful in every area of your life. The key is not to stop–you’ll find the energy will be exhilarating because the more proactive you are the more energy you draw into yourself to keep going. And don’t worry the universe has plenty of energy to share; most of the other 6 billion people on the planet are sitting around waiting for things to happen. Not that they aren’t working hard, but just not on themselves.
Now you know the Secret. You don’t need a book or a DVD. If you’re more comfortable sending in $12.95 or whatever, go ahead, we’ll turn around and use it to produce even more articles to benefit even more people because sitting back and thinking about it isn’t proactive.
Have you ever wondered why certain people in your congregation, organization, business, community, or school get all the attention, and most of the rest of us get ignored? Have you heard the term “have a big vessel?” It’s because people who are successful have already proven that they are proactive, and the leaders of your community want people near them that are proactive (the so-called big vessel people) because these people are proven commodities; they will proactively spread the message and the Light.
Having a big vessel is not about having a big suitcase to receive stuff in. Everyone’s bank account is the same size–it’s just a hollow digital space in a computer system. Having a big vessel means having the desire to get things accomplished, to move things forward; it means Being Proactive.
Any one of us can be another Sam Walton and build a trillion dollar company without any special education or training. The only thing stopping us is the amount of time we’re not being proactive.
Yes, certain people seem to have been born with an innate ability to be proactive and some of us find it much harder than others. That’s tikkun (karma) and that can be overcome. And those that overcome it, will soar much higher and faster. It may seem impossible until you just do it and then looking back you’ll see how easy it always was. Just reach out and make the next move. If we don’t, the universe will just back us further into the corner until we do, and things will only get tougher physically and psychologically.
We’ve all been proactive in some parts of our lives and at certain points in our lives, now we need to spread that strength and inner wisdom in all 6 directions. It may not be so easy to everyone, but do you really think that being like G-d should be?
Before, the sages and the tzaddikim, before Moses and Joseph and Abraham, before Noach and Adam, G-d was there alone, showing us the way. We had to look no further than the first 31 verses of the Torah, or even its first 42 letters.
And by the same token any one of us could bring Mashiach (the Messiah). It just depends on how much time we want to waste, or don’t want to waste.

A lesson from my daughter’s kindergarten class:
They were exploring Parshat Noach and the teacher sent us this email letting us know what was going on in class: “We asked each student to draw a picture using a red crayon. We asked them to put effort into the picture. When they finished we handed them a orange crayon and asked them to add to the red picture…then a yellow crayon, followed by green, blue, and purple crayons. Half way through the students realized these colors created the order of the colors of the rainbow. After they finished, we asked them to share their picture with their classmates. Then we asked them to raise their hand if they liked their picture… and if they felt they put a lot of effort into it. All of them raised their hand. We told them the pictures were not good and they needed to crumple them up and throw them away and start over again. They were not happy. And so we began our discussion on Noach….”
“Through this short activity students were able to understand from first hand experience how God felt when He decided to destroy the world….God’s own creation.”
After explaining about the rainbow, they went on to explain that “When we get angry with things that don’t turn out the way we want them to…. be it a block structure, the letter S, a drawing, or a game, we do not have to destroy it; we need to fix it (Tikkun Olam). Although God promises us God will not flood the world again, there are many things that are wrong with the world. God gave the Jewish people the charge of fixing the world, being a light unto others… through TiKKun Olam.”
Thank G-d for wonderful teachers!
And thank G-d for giving us the opportunity to fix things. Through trial and error, he could have incrementally improved us; He could have wiped us out another 4 times already, yet He gave us the 4 exiles instead within which to work on ourselves. As explained in previous blogs, He gave us a total of
2448 years to learn to appreciate His Creation and to respect it, but after 2440 of those 2448 years, I wouldn’t want to have to bring home our report card.
And this I don’t expect my daughter’s class to understand: Those 2448 years divided by the 4 exiles work out to an average of 2448/4 = 612 and 612 is the gematria value of the word Brit, Covenant, as in G-d first Covenant with earth, the rainbow. At the end of the 4th exile, in the year 5778 HC , (2018 CE) as advised to us by the tzaddikim of blessed memory, G-d will fulfill with us his Covenant with Abraham, made in 2018 HC.
So, after the first 1658 years of our creation, at the time of the flood, how devastating was it for G-d? How hard was it for him to crumple up the beautiful earth that it seemed only He appreciated? In out terminology it must have been very painful, so painful he vowed not to do it again. It was so painful that he gave us another 4120 years, or 4120/1658 = 2.485 times as long as He had given the generation of Noach.
Sure 4120 = 1o x 412 (the numerical value of the letter bet(B) the first letter in the Torah and of the word Beit as in the Beit Hamikdash, or Holy Temple, but frequent readers of this blog should recognize 248 as Abraham and as racham (mercy) and also 2485. Especially since 5778 K is the surface temperature of the Sun and 248.5 is the surface temperature of the Earth, so it appears the destruction of the Flood was planned and known at the moment of Creation when the surface temperatures (radiances) of the Earth and Sun where set.
But just because it was planned, doesn’t mean it didn’t pain him. G-d, the Light if you will is in all creation and thus at the level that we can understand G-d loves all things and it pains him at the willful destruction even of a blade of grass, let alone all of civilization. Yet with the intensity that he must have felt our suffering, like a parent who suffers at punishing and thus depriving a child from something that he really enjoys in order to help him understand right from wrong, G-d did it for us.
I guess you could say that all that water came from His tears, which is why it’s so salty.
And what about the destruction of the First Temple in 3338 HC, since its ratio with the Flood date 1658/3338 is .49670 or nearly exactly 2 x 248.5. Readers of The Divine Calendar know that all the significant Biblical dates line up in a beautiful awe-inspiring well-planned time-line, including Israel’s statehood in 1948 CE echoing Abraham’s birth in 1948 HC and the midpoint of King David’s life in 2889 HC being the midpoint between Adam and Moshiach in 5778 HC, but beyond the awe that this should inspire in us, what it should tell us is how much G-d loves us.
He could have ended it all in 1658, or 3338, but that wasn’t His plan. He had planned on the year 5778 HC (2018 CE) all along, and He meant for our generation to be the one to receive H’Mashiach from day 1, so knowing we we’re so loved, that we are the chosen people, how are we showing our appreciation? More than any generation before us, we should be showing it today.
Even more than those kindergarten students respect their wonderful teacher, and even more than they love their parents, we should be respecting and loving G-d and all his creations. So I repeat, I wouldn’t want to see our report cards. When 5778 comes around, G-d willing (B’H), none of us will be in detention.
