The Ten Commandments Part VII: Adam, Noach, Moses and the End of Days

…Continued from The Ten Commandments

Our last article was about straightening out the 5 portion, 22,000 letter, section of the Torah’s time line concerning the giving of the Ten Commandments,  the incident of the golden calf, and the two times Moses brought down the 2 Tablets. In this article, we”ll begin tying it all together.

Adam, Noach, Moses and the End of Days

As we said the people saw to it that the Tree-of-life conscious never  took root. But what did happen, though, was that G-d had to start all over again with these people. In paragraph 125, Exodus 32:9-10 “G-d then said to Moses, “I have observed the people and they are an unbending (stiff-neck) group. Now do not try to stop me when I unleash my wrath against them to destroy them. I will then make you into a great nation.”

Here is a deep secret: The words “great nation” L’Goy Gadol (LGVY GDVL) permute into Yud Gilgul (YVD GLGVL), “10 reincarnations, “one for each of the 10 Commandments.

Could it be that the Torah is hinting to us that Moses (H’Moshiach) will reincarnate 10 times?

Moses could have chosen to be like Noach, the 10th generation from Adam and preside over a new beginning, but Moses was the 26th generation of Adam, connected to the YHVH of value 26.

This connection between Noach and Moses is more than casual. G-d’s wrath was revealed to Moses in paragraph 125 of Exodus and to Noach in paragraph 25, when in Genesis 6:13 “God said to Noach, ‘The end of all flesh has come before me. The world is filled with crime. I will therefore destroy them with the earth’.” It was only a few verses earlier when in Genesis 6:3 “God said, ‘My spirit will not continue to judge man forever, since he is nothing but flesh. His days shall be 120 years’.” The word flesh (BShR) is found 58 times in the Torah, the same as the numerical value of Noach.

And who lived for 120 years? Moses did.  Moreover, the Torah mentions no one else who lived for 120 years to fulfill G-d’s statement. And lets not forget that Noach had to endure for 40 days and 40 night immersed in water to cleanse mankind and the earth, and Moses also 40 days and 40 nights immersed in the clouds on Sinai to do the same.

The Torah is drawing these parallels for a reason. G-d gave us the 120 years of Moses (H’Mashiach) in flesh. Bnei Noach (BNY NCh) also has the value of 120, so it’s not surprising that G-d’s announcement about his wrath was found in Genesis 6:13, which hints at the 613 precepts that Moses would bring, and if you add the 7 Noahide precepts, we get 613 + 7 = 620, keter, a relationship many a sage has pointed out in relation to the 620 letters of the 10 Commandments.

This is all evidence as well in that the yud Gilgul (10 reincarnations or 10 revolvings) also refer to the 10 generations from Adam to Noach.

Furthermore, each of the 28 generations from 2448, when the Ten Commandments were given, to 5778 (2018 ce), the date prophesied for Moshiach lasted 120 years, while the first 26 generations through Moses lasted 93 years each on average. What this means is that the 54 generations from Adam to Moshiach lasted an average of 107 years, and since the sum of the integers from 1 to 107 = 5778, it all makes perfect sense. Spiritually, it always did.

26 + 28 = 54 generations

(26 x 93) + (28 x 120) = 54 x 107 = 5778 years

Please note that it is 91.0 years.generation for the 26 generations until Moses birth. The average is exactly 93 years, when Moses life is split into 70 years and his last 50 years or 58 and 42% respectively, in line with the Noach (58) connection, and the  not coincidental significance of the 42-Letter Name (necessary for the geula), the final 70 year period from Israeli Statehood in 5708 to 5778, and the 50-year jubilee period.

But the most significant parallel to draw from this Moshe(MShH)-Noach (NCh) connection is the correction of the snake (nachash, NChSh) and Adam/Man (EDM). When we combine the letters in their 2 names (MShH-NCh) they permute to NChSh, which is Nachash, snake and mah (MH), which has the same numerical value as Adam (45) and, according to the Zohar, it is also the aspect of the G-d’s name (YVD HE VEV HE) that is called M’H of value 45, and which represents both Man (ADM) and the 6 sefirot of Zeir Anpin.

And because nachash has the numerical value of 358, this correction will brings us Mashiach (358). Moreover, 45 is also the gematria of Geula (GEVLH), the final redemption.  So while the price paid was high, in the end we’ll get the Messiah and the final redemption.

Nevertheless, it also warns us what we have to overcome for Moses (Mashiach) to come again and bring the geula. The snake always finds a way, different every time, to work his way in and make us lose our focus.

Adam blew the opportunity to stay in the Tree-of-life reality, and 1658 years and 10 generations later, the Flood waters covered the earth, and we began anew. In 2448, we blew the opportunity once again. Thus we were given 66.6 jubilee years and/or 10 incarnations to reincarnate in flesh to find the means to summon the Tree-of-life back into our lives.

The phrase “End of days” found in the Zohar Trumah 143, is in Hebrew “Ketz H’Yamim (KZ HYMYM)“. It has the sofit gematria value of 1665, and if we take away the kolel of the 7 letters we get 1658, the year of the Flood, and if we add 1 instead for the kolel we get 1666, the year the generation of Shabtai Tzvi thought Moshiach was coming. But we also get 666, the numerical value of “the days,” and 1000 for “End.”

The end is the beginning since alef (ELP), the first letter, is also teh word elef, “one thousand (1000),” a concept that keeps coming up in spirituality and in many of our blogs.  It’s pure gematria-the observance and measure of similarity of form. Just like the geula and Adam having the same gematria.

Have doubts about the Adam-Noach-Moshe connection?

Please note then that Moses passed on after 120 years in 2488, just before the Israelites entered the Promised Land and Noach’s Flood occurred in 1658. The relationship between them gives us

1658/2488 = .666.

The flood occurred .666 of the way from Adam to Moshe’s death in the flesh.

Also 2488/5778 = 430, as in the 430 years from the Covenant with Abraham in 2018 to 2448 when the 10 Commandments were issued, which again comes full circle as 2018 CE = 5778 HC. And just to top it off, a circle has 360 degrees and 1658 + 360 = 2018.

To be continued shortly with Part VIII.

What Abraham Really Purchased for 400 Shekels.

Apropos to our last post about the dissemination of the light and the Jewish souls from 1-3-70-600,000 as presented repeatedly in the Torah, a recent comment on the DailyZohar regarding Chayeh Sarah made a wonderful connection between the 600,000 Jewish souls and Abraham’s purchase of the cave at Machpelah.

“As per Leviticus 27:16,  the size of a beit-kur,  which is the equivalent of 75,000 square cubits, represents a value of 50 silver shekels. Thus, the size of the field which Abraham purchased for 400 silver shekels was eight kur, or 600,000 square cubits. (Paaneach Raza)

A square cubit is the size of the roof hole at the top of Noah’s Ark and the size of the two tablets that the 10 Commandments were engraved in. It’s also enough space for a man to stand comfortably in, meaning Abraham purchased a plot of land that provides an individual “space” for each of the 600,000 souls of Israel. When using the Holy Cubit that the Future Holy Temple is designed with, it works out to a plot of land exactly .37 square miles.

Now, it’s said by the sages that every Jew has a letter in the Torah and that there are 600,000 letters in the Torah. We’ve previously shown that there are exactly 600,000 – 408 component letters in the Torah, when each letter is broken down into the component letters that comprise it.  Interestingly, there are a total of 50 component letters, as in the value of one field, with 50 always being a connection to the upper sefira of Binah.

And since the Torah is a hologram of G-d Name, his Unity, the entire Torah is included in every letter of it, we see by the Torah references to a cubit square that if all the hope of humanity (the opening in the ark) and the entire Torah (10 Commandments) can fit in that 1 square cubit space, and that we have a place reserved for ourselves in Israel thanks to Abraham, we each have the hope of the generation and entire Torah within us. And waiting for us.

The question always arises as to why 408, and we can’t know for certain. We do know, as the Zohar explains that it has to do with the coded Hebrew word “Zot” of numerical value 408, which refers to the time of the final redemption. We also know that if the missing letters were all Vavs of numerical value 6, then the 408 letters would equal 2448, as in the year the Torah was received at Sinai.

Nevertheless, Abraham purchased the cave/field from the sons of Chet (Hittites), whose numerical value is 408. And he purchased the field of 8 kur for 400 shekels for our 8 illustrious forefathers who would be buried there: Adam, Eve, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rivka, Jacob and Leah. Either way, kabbalistically we can construe that as 400+8 = 408.

Abraham was securing a place for us, where we could all one day join together again as one, and he made sure he’d be waiting there for us.

Let’s make sure the Cave of Machpelah and the surrounding 600,000 square cubits (27.5″ x 27.5″) stay in Israel. It’s our patrimony and our future.

The 3 Columns of History.

The Torah always presents information to us with great built in redundancy, so it’s not the Torah’s fault if we’re slow on the uptake.  For example, did you ever wonder why there were 70 family members who entered Egypt and began the 210 years of exile there while they grew to 600,000? Or why Moses and his siblings had to pass the Torah on to 70 Elders before it could be given to the people, also 600,000 at the time. And you probably didn’t realize that Noah’s sons had 70 named descendants in the Torah, which eventually populated the world.

Ok, so what?

So if the Torah is expressing a distinctive pattern, it’s our  obligation to try and figure out why, what he message is. This is the Sod Torah, the secret chambers of the Torah that house the deepest wisdom.

The pattern:

Noach (1) – his 3 sons – 70 descendants

Adam (1) – 3 Patriarchs – 70 family members

G-s (1) – 3 Moses/Aaron/Miriam – 70 Elders

1 -3 -70

The Tree-of-life comes to mind right away:

Binah –  Da’at – Chochma

Gevurah -Chesed

Hod -Netzach

1 (Keter)

3 Upper Sefirot

70 Subsefirot of 7 sefirot of Zeir Anpin/Malchut

By the way, the 70 sub-sefirot are naturally bundled this way; it wasn’t some convenient arrangement of ours.

Then, of course, there is 137, the numerical gematria value of Kabbalah, meaning both to receive and also parallel, as in parallel meaning and parallel universe.

As my friend Mordechai pointed out, 1-3-70 is also 1370 as in the 1370 that Chazal tells us the Moslems were to rule over the Jews in merit of their forefather Ishmael (10 years for each of the 137 of his life), which incidentally ended on June 8th, 2002, 1370 years after the death of Mohammad in 632 CE.

Then there is 1 x 3 x 70 = 210 years of exile in Egypt.

Of course, Keter is 1, but it’s also 100 and 100 + 70 + 3 = 173, as in the 173 keys that the Zohar tells us G-d gave to Moses to access Heaven, and allusion to the small gematria value of the 42-Letter Name of G-d, 173.

Let’s put that aside for the moment and see where the 3 column structure of the Tree-of-life takes us. The Arizal explains that all history is based on cycles of the coupling of Zeir Anpin and Malchut (in it’s most simplistic form, Heaven and Earth).  These cycles include the 3 times of the day (corresponding to the 3 sets of daily prayers); the 7 days of the weeks; 12 months in a year He further states that in the grand cycle, the destruction of the Second Temple in 3830 HC heralded the end of the coupling of Zeir Anpin and Malchut, which will reoccur in the time of the Third Temple. Interestingly, the Second Temple was destroyed in 70 CE, and the first Temple was destroyed in 3338 HC, or -422 CE, which is germane because 422 is the gematria value of the word seventy (70).

Now, since the 2nd of the 3 periods (columns) of history ended in 3830, if this first 2 periods were split down the middle, each would be 1915 years long.  I haven’t found any biblical events that match the year 1915, but Abraham was born 33 years later in 1948.

And similarly, 3830 + 1915 (or alternatively 1915 x 3 periods) = 5745 (1985 CE), which is 33 years before 5778, the year prophesied by Rav Ashlag, etc. for the geula (final redemption) and the arrival of Moshiach and the 3rd Tree-of-life opportunity.

Nevertheless, we know that the 70 years of King David’s life is tied into the  whole Mashiach calendar and that the midpoint of his life in 2889 HC is exactly halfway between Adam (0) and Moshaich in 5778 HC, and so we should see see how his life compares with the 3 periods of 1915 years. As it happens, half way between the first 1915 year period and the the second at 3830 is the year 2872 and half of 33 years later is 2889, alternatively David was born 33/2 years before 2872 in 2854 HC.

So why the 33 years?

Is it because it’s 1/3 of 100 (keter)? Or because it’s 1 more than the 32 Paths of Wisdom (Tree-of-life).  Or is it something deeper, some link/path/gateway that G-d wants us to find on our own. After all, the square root of 33 is 57.45, as in 3 x 1915 = 5745.

Couldn’t be, right? Square roots factoring into G-d’s Divine calendar?

Well, maybe, considering that the square root of 1370 = 37.01, and the gematria value of the 42-Letter Name is 3701. And speaking of the 42-Letter Name, whose small gematria value if you recall was 173, the square root of 3 is 1.73.

Nevertheless, 33 is 2/3 or .666 of the 50-year biblical jubilee year, which the Torah commands us (starting back in 2448 HC at Mt Sinai) to count, until the arrival of Moshiach 3330 (66.6 jubilee) years later.

Now the Divine Calendar is so designed so that Abraham would be born in 1948 HC, and Israel would become a nation in 1948 CE and that 1948 years after the destruction of the Second Temple in 3830, we’d get the 3rd opportunity for the Tree-of-life reality in 5778, which is 2018 CE, 70 years after Israel became a nation, just as it was 70 years after Abraham was born in 1948, that G-d made his Covenant with Abraham (in 2018 HC).

But if that isn’t enough, it was also so designed so that the square root of the year the First Holy Temple was destroyed, 3338 is 57.78, and moreover that the square root of 5778 is 76.0 and 76.6 jubilee years is 3830, when the Second Holy Temple was destroyed.

So G-d had a plan for us all along, and a time table, a very specific one it seems, down to the square roots, so let’s take another look at the 1-3-70 progression. And it turns out that the sum of their respective square roots is 11.1, as in the numerical value of the 1st Hebrew Letter, Alef (ELP), 111, which leads us back to 1 (One). But as for the progression and the cyclical coupling of Zeir Anpin and Malchut, the Arizal explains that the 600,000 Jewish souls at Mt Sinai can trace their soul root back through the 70 members through the 12 sons through the 3 Patriarchs to Adam, meaning:

600,000/70/12/3 = 238.095

238.095 = 1/42

These are just a few of the secrets revealed in just one of the Torah’s many chambers.  But buried beneath this chamber of history is another chamber, with deeper secrets, with clues to the 4th Period of History, he one to come.  We’ll open the seal on that chamber in our next post…

Ezekiel and the Storm!

As the approaching storms gather themselves spiritually as per our recent post, we must ask if these swirling dark ominous clouds, fierce winds and tornadoes spiritual people are seeing in their dreams since Rosh Hashanna 5770 are related to Ezekiel’s vision and 2 for the 4 faces of evil: Ezekiel (1:4) “A stormy wind” and “a huge cloud.”

Please see our article on Ezekiel’s vision as what may follow, G-d forbid.

The Parsha Noach is an opportunity for global cleaning and forgiveness, let’s set personal forgiveness in our hearts and beg forgiveness for all mankind this Shabbat. B”H it will help clear away some of the mounting negativity in the atmosphere. It’s our responsibility.
