The Hidden Message Within

At the end of the Book of Vayikra (Leviticus), just when we’re taught about the jubilee year, we reach a turning point not only in the Torah, but in the Tree-of-Life as well. An intricate and very important message to us was woven into the structure of the Torah. And only by taking a step back does it become readily apparent.

The final two portions of this the 3rd Book, Behar and BeChukotai have 57 and 78 verses respectively, completing the upper 3 sefirot (dimensions) —Keter, Chochma and Binah—and splitting the Torah into two portion precisely along the Phi (Golden Mean) proportions.  Followers of this blog know full well that Rav Ashlag and others have given us the year 5778 (2018 CE) as the time for the arrival of Moshiach (the Messiah) and the geula (the final redemtion), which ushers in the 3rd time we had the opportunity to achieve the Tree-of-life reality, so it’s not surprising that the Torah would once again be encoded to showcase that date.

There’s no coincidence that we’re told to count jubilee years (50 years intervals) or that we’re told to do it in the 115th chapter in the Torah (Behar, 25:1-24). Previously, we’d been told to count 50 days from Pesach to the reception of the 10 Commandments (Tree-of-Life) on Shavuot. This is called the Omer period, but kabbalistically the sages have taught us that “days,” “months,” and “years” are synonymous and that counting 50 days is also a message to count 50 years. But the message isn’t just to count 50 year intervals, which were told to do explicitly in Behar anyway. But that we’re supposed to count a specific period, we which can extrapolate to mean from the exile in 2448 HC to the reception of the Tree-of-life, which if it occurs as foretold in 5778 HC, will be precisely 66.6 jubilee years. But it would also be the 115th jubilee year from the first time we had Tree-of-life consciousness back in the Garden of Eden with Adam.

So are there hidden time codes hidden year? Of course.

In an article we wrote about the famous “End of Days” prophecy of Daniel and Time, times, and half a time, we discussed the connection to the Torah’s odd wording in the Chayeh Sarah verse “Shanah, shanah, Shan’im” or “year, year, and years,” especially since Shanah can be regarded as “time” as well.

To better understand this, we need to go to a place before time, where the primordial letter alef exists before the physical universe took shape. According to Abraham and his Sefer Yetzirah (The Book of Formation) in that place/empty space before Creation and before the Torah, the 3 Mothers (Alef, Shin, and Mem) came into existence. But first among them was the letter alef.

Alef typically has the numerical value of 1 and is spelled, ELP, which has the numerical value of 111. Now the Tree-of-life is split into the 3 upper worlds, and Zeir Anpin, or the 6-world (dimension) ladder than takes us from our world (Malchut) to the upper ones. The Torah is akin to Zeir Anpin, this 6-dimensional channel, which is why 60% of the verses in it begin with the letter Vav (of numerical value 6) and why there are 6 letter Alefs in the Torah’s first verse, totaling 6, or 666 when spelled out. The place delineated by the final two chapters totaling 57-78 verses and that ultimately the splits the Torah into the precise Phi proportion as will be explained below also according to the sages, splits the Torah into the upper 3 sefirot and into Zeir Anpin with the start of the Book of Numbers (Bamidbar).

So since the Israelites received and blew the 2nd Tree-of-life opportunity at Mt Sinai in the 50th jubilee year from Adam and the 1st opportunity, we now have the 3rd opportunity approaching after an additional 66.6 jubilee years, and 66.6 is not only very relevantly connected to the 6 letter Alefs of Creation and representative of the numerical and all-important kabbalistic fraction 2/3, but it is also 1/3 more 50 (i.e. 66.6/50 = 1.33).

Interesting enough, the two portions whose verses total 57-78 and whose first and last verse contains the words “B’har Sinai (On Mount Sinai)” have 7 and 5 paragraphs between them, paragraphs 87-98 of Vayikra to be precise and the sum of 87 through 98 is 1110, or that of 10 letter Alefs (ELP). And in case we were to miss this, Behar is the 32nd portion in the Torah, as in the 32 Paths of Wisdom that make up The tree-of-Life and as in the value, 32, or the 4 component letters that physically make of the letter Alef (Yud-Vav-Vav-Yud).

The Arizal further explains that Alef (ELP) can also be the word elef, meaning “one thousand (1000).” Now, if we substitute, as the Arizal did, the value 1000 for the value 1, the value of alef spelled out become 1110, which is 10 x 111, or Alef expanded to cover all 10 sefira (dimensions).

So if you ever thought that the dividing up of the Torah into portions and paragraphs, etc was arbitrary, this should serve as a reminder of the depth of its encoding and technology.

Moreover, “Shanah, shanah, Shan’im” also has the numerical value of 1110, and thus is spiritually connected to primordial time, to the beginning before Creation. We wont go into again here all the technology built into that portion from Chayah Sarah where it’s declared Sarah was 127 or from Daniel 12:7 or how they both connect to Moshiach and 5778, but we will explain that Alef (ELP) is also Eluf, or “chief” and thus 1110 also represents the 10 chiefs or heads of the sefirot in unison, which must occur in order for the Tree-of-life reality to manifest in our world.

It should not be so surprising what is found at parsha Behar since Behar (BHR) has the same numerical value as “Light (Ohr)” and “secrets (Raz),” but the beautiful moment comes at the close of this 3rd Book, after the 57-78 sign, when in the first chapter of Bamidbar.

As we explain in much greater depth in There’s Nothing Random About the Universe, the primordial mathematical constant that controls the natural shaping of spirals, from the stars in our galaxy, to the petals on our flowers, to the shape of our seashells and our Trees, and to the growth of our populations is called Phi. Phi is a specially balanced proportion that exists between the two parts of a segmented whole and then to the whole itself (i.e. the short length is to the longer one as the longer one is to the entire length). Nature naturally follows this proportion at all turns, and when art or architecture does too it gives us a beautiful sense of harmony, balance, and well-being. But Phi is not only integral to the existence of the universe, but to the design of the Torah as well, as we’ll show below. Moreover, as is covered extensively in There’s Nothing Random About the Universe it is uniquely connected to the number and thus the year 5778 as well.

There are 5 Books in the Torah, all of varying length, number of chapters, words, letters, verses, etc. and it was written down by hand thousands of years ago, before anyone had ever heard of primordial mathematical constants, or calculators. So it is amazing that the Torah is actually divided into specific segments using the Phi proportion with the first chapter of Numbers (Bamidbar) being the dividing point in terms of the number of letters, words, and also verses, splitting the Torah into two harmonic portions.

Thus:

(Genesis + Exodus + Leviticus) / (Numbers + Deuteronomy) =

1.61803399 letters

and

(Genesis + Exodus + Leviticus) / (Numbers + Deuteronomy) =

1.61803399 words

and

(Genesis + Exodus + Leviticus) / (Numbers + Deuteronomy) =

1.61803399 verses

And conversely,

(Numbers + Deuteronomy)/(Genesis + Exodus + Leviticus) = .61803399 letters, or words, or verses

Also, as illustrated in The Genesis Prayer, while the collective number of words, letters, and verses in the entire Torah = 390,625, which is exactly 58, they too as a whole connect with Phi in that:

(Total Words, Letters, and Verses in the Torah) / (106 x (√1 + √2))

= 1.618022

Moreover, as is also illustrated in The Genesis Prayer:

The Words, Letters, Verses, Columns and Rows in the Torah = 248000 x 1.61803399

With 248 being the numerical value of Abraham and also of Mercy (Rachem), but also—and here is another clue—of Bamidbar (Numbers), where we find the Torah divided precisely into the Phi proportion.

Now, we mentioned earlier that Behar began with the 115 chapter of the full 187 chapters in the Torah and that 5778 occurs in the 115th jubilee year, actually at 115.56 jubilee years from Adam and the first Tree-of-life reality we were offered. So how coincidental is it that 187/phi = 115.57236.. and that 115.57236 jubilee years (Biblical 50-year intervals) = 5778.618.

Or that the last chapter in Bechukotai, the other half of the 57-78 portions, is the 117 chapter and 117/187 = .625 with 625 being the square root of 390,625, the collective number of words, letters, and verses in the Torah.

There are moments when science, religion and spirituality come together. There aren’t as many as there should be because everyone has his own entrenched beliefs. Nevertheless, this is one of those precious moments of harmony, when we can all be in awe, when we can all see and understand that the primordial underlying structure of the physical universe is the same as that of the Bible and of the spiritual world as well, and that this is in no way random.

Given all that we’ve seen, as the events of next few years unfold we need to pay close attention to the Torah, because nothing is random, and all has been foretold.

The message is that the 3rd opportunity for the Tree-of-Life is upon us, whether we’ve chosen to prepare ourselves or not.

Who put the Tree into the Tree-of-Life: A Startling Revelation.

We’ve proven repeatedly in The Genesis Prayer, in There’s Nothing Random in the Universe and in our articles the purposeful interweaving of Pi (3.1415926358…) in the construction of the Torah. Now we see that the primordial mathematical constant Phi (1.61803399) was likewise programmed in.

This is beautiful and awe inspiring for bring science and religion together, but what the Torah is really illustrating for us is the secret proportions of the Tree-of-Life or spiritual structure of the universe. It’s common knowledge amongst the sages and tzaddikim that Genesis represents Keter; Exodus, Chochma; Leviticus, Binah; Numbers, Zeir Anpin; and Deuteronomy represents Malchut, our world.

So transferring the Torah proportions to the 5 main sefirot (dimensions) gives us Keter, Chochma and Binah collectively being Phi (1.618033) times larger than the seven lower sefirot (dimensions) comprised of the 6 bundled into Zeir Anpin and Malchut. In other words the topmost 3 sefirot (dimensions) represent 61.80 % of the Tree-of-Life (the greater universe) and the bottom 7 sefirot represents 38.2%.

But if you picture the proportions we’ve gleaned from the Torah, then you will see a thick tall trunk topped with a heavy wide and pointed triangular mushroom top:

Now You Know Why it’s called a Tree!

There are 5 Books of Moses which we now know to be divided precise into the Phi proportion in terms of Books (3 and 2), and letter, and words, and verses, but what is significant about this is that Phi (1.618033887.,.) is based on the number 5, actually the square root of the number 5. It is exactly (1 + √5)/2 if you must know. We’ve discussed the sefirot that each of the books connect with, so we know that the 5th Book, the one that repeats the Torah’s story again from Moses’ point of view, is connected to Malchut, and we’ve seen in previous articles how numerous very specific prophecies about the last exile and the end-of-days is clearly spelled out in this 5th and final Book.

We know the Torah is exceedingly redundant (probably because we’re exceedingly thick-headed) and fractal in nature in its structure patterns and coding, so it’s not surprising to find that the 5th Book (Deuteronomy/Devarim) has 34 chapters, with 34 being the 10th Fibonacci number starting from zero. Fibonnaci numbers (0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55…) are a very famous sequence formed by adding together the two prior numbers, the ratio between which approximates Phi (1.6180…). As there are 10 sefirot (dimensions) the number 10 also represents Malchut, representing an ending of sorts.

Using this as a clue, it’s further insightful that the 5th Torah portion of the 5th Book (Deuteronomy/Devarim), parsha Shoftim, begins at Devarim 16:18.

Given this, and exploiting one of the basic and most unique properties of Phi, we find that the square root of 1.618033.. is 6.18033.., or (Phi –1) and Phi2 is 2.618033.., or (Phi + 1), so examining the 3 corresponding verses in Devarim, we find a concealed Torah

message about the end-of-days, which is really the dawning of the age of the Tree-of-Life. Devarim 6:18 corresponds the square root of Phi; Devarim 16:18

corresponds to Phi; and Devarim 26:18 corresponds to Phi2.

Devarim 6:18 “Do what is upright and good in God’s eyes, so that He will be good to you. You will then come and occupy the good land that God promised your fathers.”

Devarim 16:18 Appoint yourselves judges and police for your tribes in all your settlements that God your Lord is giving you, and make sure that they administer honest judgment for the people.”

Devarim 26:18 “God has similarly declared allegiance to you today, making you His special nation as He promised you. If you keep all His commandments, He will make you the highest of all nations He brought into existence…”

In short, “Do what is right, police yourselves, and God with elevate you to the Tree-of-Life state of reality.” The Arizal and other tzaddikim and sages have explained that we are our own police and judges and that we need to guard the gates of our souls, our senses and our consciousness. Moreover, the Zohar explains that as we judge others so we will be judged, so we must zealously guard our thoughts. And the word “people” in Devarim 16:18 refers not our own people, but to all other people in the 70 nations, for we are responsible for their well-being. Our thoughts and actions affect them.

We’re being told to take responsibility for our actions and thoughts and once we truly do, we’ll realize that we’re the only ones standing in our own way from receiving the final redemption.

At the first word of Devarim 16:18, where the portion of Shoftim begins, we find the 358th Shin-Mem (ShM) letter combination in the Book of Devarim. The combination spells the word Shem, as in the “Name” of G-d.  There is an abnormal preponderance of words with this combination in the previous portion, Reah, meaning “to see,” but the 358th one at the word Shoftim (Judges) alludes to Moshiach, also of numerical value 358, and also containing the same letter combination, yet in reverse (MShYCh). The spiritual explanation is that by honest judging, the Torah is speaking about judging with Mashiach consciousness, that of thinking with and through the heart.  Also, that from these actions will come Moshiach.

The Shin-Mem (ShM) letter combination has a numerical value of 340, significantly, 10 times the value 34, the 10th Fibonacci number and final chapter in the Torah, and also 18 (Chai, life,) less than 358, Moshiach.

We’re in final part of the month of Elul, the month of preparation for Rosh Hashanah, when we should be doing Tshuvah. Literally translated as repentance, it is deep self- examination and a going back in time to undo all the negativity that we’ve created.  The Torah shows us the way.  The numbers above are all intellectual, but the path traced is spiritual.  To travel back in time we must enter through our hearts and follow our actions and their results backwards along the universal harmonic path delineated by the Phi spiral until we get to their sources, whether in our childhood or in previous lifetimes, begging forgiveness and increasing our appreciate of Hashem and our understanding of our place in His universe as we go.

Thus it’s no coincidence that the Baal Shem Tov came out to the world in Elul, in the 6th Month on the 18th day of Elul (6/18), which split the month into the Phi proportion. It was likewise no coincidence that Rabbi Shimon’s hillulah is on the 18th of Iyar (the 33rd day of the Omer), which also split Iyar into those same proportions, both dates reminiscent of .618033.. and both Tzaddiks of blessed memory adding so much understanding to our world.

Phi18 = 5778, the year 2018 CE, a scant 8 years from this Rosh Hashanah. Let’s take advantage of this opportunity to take responsibility for our thoughts and actions and thus become part of the harmony of our universe, instead of being chaotic blights upon it.  Let’s not fight this spiraling ride we’re on, but ride with it, as time spirals ever tighter to 5778, and let’s ride it as our consciousness expands and spirals upward and outward into the broad branches of the upper Tree-of-Life, the reality beyond the illusions.

Now, if it occurred to you to ask why the 187 chapters of the Torah weren’t also divided into the Phi proportion, when that would seem like an easier calculation that keeping track of hundreds of thousands of letters, know this: 187/phi = 115.57236.. and 115.57236 jubilee years (Biblical 50 year interval) = 5778.618.  Go Figure!

So where was the split at Numbers 1:1, in terms of chapters? There are 70 chapters in the last two Books, so 117/187 = .625 and 625 is the square root of 390,625, the collective number of words, letters, and verses in the Torah. It’s also exactly 5/8 as in the exactly 58 total words, letters, and verses in the Torah.

Rosh Hashanah is nearly upon us. It is truly a time of awe.

It’s a Beautiful Thing!

Last night I was meditating on the simple structure of the Torah, and as readers of the The Genesis Prayer and The Divine Calendar already know the quantitative sum of the Words, Letters, and Verses in the Torah equals 58 (5x5x5x5x5x5x5x5) exactly, which is an amazing phenomenon unto itself, considering that this means that the author of the Torah had to have kept track of each one of those letters, and words, and verses and not misplaced a single one—I had trouble just making sure I had the right number of 5’s in the parenthesis above.

Now, those 58 or 390,625 core elements is not an insignificant number by any means. For one, it is also 6252, and 625 is the gematria value of H’Keter (  הכ תר), the crown(ing) dimension. For another of many, 1775 is the numerical value of the sum of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alef-bet when the 5 final letter values are included and 1775 x 22 + 125 = 390,625. According to the Arizal, 125 is representative of Elohim, the Torah’s 3rd word, whose 5 letters have 120 permutation. It’s also equivalent to 53.

So thinking about those 5845 verses, 304805 letters and 79975 (sometimes 79976 depending on how you look at a single letter word) letters, I realized there was beautiful puzzle concealed within the numbers that only gematria could bring to life.

If we sum up the digits in the 5845 verses, we get 5+8+4+5 = 22, which corresponds to the 22nd letter, Tav (T, ת).

 

If we sum up the digits in the 304805 letters, we get 3+4+8+5 = 20, which corresponds to the 20th letter, Resh (R, ר)

Now if we also sum up the digits in the 79975 words, we get 7+9+9+7+5 = 37, which corresponds to the 37th letter, which is Yud (Y,י) when using cyclical gematria.

What this gives us is Tav (T, ת), Resh (R, ר) and Yud (Y,י), which together have the gematria of 610 and if we add 1 for the kolel we get 611, the gematria value of Torah (TVRH, תורה ). But since the gematria milui (spelled out) values of the letters Vav (VYV) is 22 and He (HY) is 15 respectively, they are together 22 + 15 = 37, and thus we find that the letters encoded in the quantitative core elements of the Torah spell out the word Torah (TVRH,תורה ).

 

This is amazing unto itself, but, as mentioned earlier, we can also calculate the total number of words in the Torah as 79,976, which is also 80,000-(3×8 or .03%). And when we use 79,976 words as a standard, we get 7+9+9+7+6 = 38, which is apropos given the equation just demonstrated, but it also corresponds to the 38th letter, which is Caf (C,כ) when using cyclical gematria.

And thus when considering 79,976 words, we find that the letters encoded in the quantitative core elements of the Torah spell out CTR (Keter, כ תר), of numerical value 620.

 

And by the way, the ordinal value of those letters, which was dictated by sum of the digits in the 3 quantitative elements was 38 + 22 + 20 = 80, as in the 80,000 words less .03%) contained in the Torah.

It’s a beautiful thing that we’ve been given, no less than perfect in every way, like the light itself. Once we understand that, we’ll have the necessary awe to understand everything and the secrets will no longer be secrets, but merits.
