Count Like G-d

This time next year, Moshiach will be lighting the Chanukah candles beside us… I was thinking about what Rabbi Abuhatzeira, the grandson of the prominent Moroccan miracle working kabbalist, Rabbi Israel Abuhatzeira, the Baba Sali, said about the Hebrew phrase (ביאת–המשיח) “The arrival of the Messiah” being encoded with the date for Moshiach’s arrival. The gematria of this phrase, as he was well aware, is 778, as in the Hebrew year 5778 or 2018 CE, which, as Daniel—a most excellent collaborator of ours—points out, is the value (2018) of the 13 spelled out letters in the word Chanukah (חית–נון–ויו–כף–הי). After all our discussions about the Torah and the cosmic system being a giant web of algorithms all designed to help us connect to unconditional love and to Moshiach at the right moment, it should escape no one that 13 is the numerical value of Ahava (אהבה) love. What we might have missed is that the initials of the phrase (ביאת–המשיח) “The arrival of the Messiah” are the last two letters in the word Ahava (אה–בה) love. We may also have missed that the word Chanukah (חית–נון–ויו–כף–הי) can be broken down into 3 sequential components (חי–תנון–ויוכףהי), or Chai, life (חי) and (תנון) of numerical value 506, the same as that of “unconditional love” and as the complete gematria value as “Moshiach Ben David,” and finally the third component (ויוכףהי), which has the numerical value of 137, that of Kabbalah, meaning to receive. Put another way, Chanukah is “To receive the life of Moshiach Ben David.” What activates that? Love, Unconditional Love. When? 2018 CE, 5778 HC.  Why life? Why was...

Hello from the Other Side

Whenever the tzaddikim, the sages and the prophets told us to count something or to read a Torah portion at a specific time, it was for a divinely given, very good reason. It was not an extra-credit assignment. The counting and reading were either to awaken our souls or if they have already awoken, to give us necessary instructions, i.e. a set of programming codes, if you will. Adele should be playing in the background right now. Hello from the other side… I must have called you a thousand times… are you going to pick up this time? Your soul needs to hear what the Light has been trying to tell you for a long time. G-d has been trying to reach you for 107 generations. In these 8 days, we have been told to count the days from 1 to 8, lighting the candles in sequence and read each day about the sacrifices delineated in Numbers 7:1-89. We have been told to light 1 candle the first day, two the second, three the third and so on for 8 days. In the first 4 days as we light the candles, we count 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 and that equals 10, establishing and reorganizing the 10 sefirot for us so that the light can flow freely and unencumbered through every aspect of our lives. In the remaining 4 days we light 5 plus, 6 plus 7, plus 8 for a total of 26 candles, connecting our now aligned souls to the 4 letters of the Tetragrammaton (יהוה) of numerical value 26. When we add all 8...

Chanukah: Follow the Tzaddik; Ignite the Light!

Chanukah: Eight days of Miracles Designed to Bring Mashiach If we truly want to bring Moshiach consciousness to the world there is really only one way to do it, by emulating a tzaddik in our actions and thoughts. I have been blessed with being close with two of them, both of blessed memory. They both had one overriding attribute that we all need to emulate. They both did everything with selfless, caring love and with a noble purpose. They showed us that we must inject caring love into our actions and do them with the singular purpose of bringing Moshiach. It is not only the way; it is the only way. When we are doing something out of pure love it will be one with the Light Force and thus whatever the outcome, it will be the right outcome. However, that is not enough. We also have to inject intent and purpose in order to direct that Light. We can scatter the Light or focus it, but the only way to achieve anything in this world or the next, is to focus it. The Torah and the tzaddikim before us have provided us with numerous tools to enable us to harness and focus that Light and they had a singular purpose — “to bring Moshiach consciousness to our world.” We have a huge opportunity these 8 days of Chanukah to join them and actively draw down the Light of Moshiach. The following connections and revelations have been provided by them to empower us in that endeavor. Everything about this special period of time from the Torah portions to the...

Stranded on Third!

Stranded or Appointed to Be on Third? In our past two articles we have revealed much about how to use G-d’s Name and Unconditional Love, but it also feels like we didn’t quite reveal everything. It also feels like desperation is settling into our world, and quickly overtaking us. It feels like we are facing the Kansas City Royals and left a man stranded on third. As the Mets and Toronto Blue Jays learned, one cannot go into extra innings against a powerful opponent who makes no errors. Since the opposing team is always in the right place at the right time, we only have one place to hit the ball: Out of the park! Yes, the situation is the same, only this time it is on an unprecedented scale. The stakes are the world… the time is the Final Redemption. In the last three articles, and especially in our last one, “Choose Redemption Now,”  we illustrated how the Torah was designed to teach us to use the unification of the Tetragrammaton (יהוה) and Adonai (אדני) and elevate it further with the higher Name Eyheh (אהיה) from Malchut to Zeir Anpin to Keter, all in the aspect of love, unconditional love. What is that love? It is not the (hopefully) reciprocated love we have for our husbands and wives. Neither is it the love we have for our parents as mandated by the Ten Commandments. Nor is it in thanks for all that they have done for us. It is closer to the love we have for our children that no one has mandated or told us we had...

Choose Redemption Now

Choose Redemption Now We know all the numbers, values and quantities in the Torah must have meaning and a purpose for the Creator. We hope we can gain some insight into these properties of the Torah and from them gain a glimpse into the spiritual workings of the universe. Occasionally though, by His grace we receive a true epiphany about G-d’s intentions, which means that for an instant we enter the realm of Binah for we are touched by true understanding. In our previous two articles, “The Time to Fight Back Has Come “ and “Choose NOW the Way You Should Go!,“ we discussed the connections with the 1820 explicit Names of G-d (יהוה) found in the Torah. Association of the number 1820 with the numerical value for the phrase “Love thy neighbor” with its inherent message of unconditional love was pretty obvious. So was the fact that 1820 is 10 times 182, the numerical value of the biblical name Jacob (יעקב), kabbalistically representing the central (balanced) column of the Tree-of-life. Other associations with 1820 being equal to 70 x 26 (the numerical of the Tetragrammaton (יהוה) were extremely important too, but these associations still did not get to the essential character as to why there had to be 1820 explicit Names of G-d (יהוה) in the Torah. Why not 1821, 1826 or even 2018 for that matter? What was G-d’s reasoning? We cannot really call it reasoning, because we cannot begin to fathom anything on that level. Even the concept of fathoming does not exist in that exalted existential state. Nevertheless, we could glimpse a reflection of G-d’s...
