It came to my attention this week that the giant Reflecting Pool that lies in the central axis between the Washington Monument and the Capital Building is 2300 x 150 feet. At first I dismissed it, even as they pointed out that 2300 x 150 = 345,000 sq ft and that 345 is numerical value of Moses. But on further reflection, I realized that 2300 = 20 x 115 and as we’ve been discussing in the last few articles, the value 20 is synonymous with the highest, crowning sefira (dimension) of Keter, and 115 is the number of jubilee years (Biblical 50-year interval) from Adam to the prophecies of Mashiach (the Messiah) in our generation, specifically 5778(2018 CE).
Still, I didn’t consider it worth mentioning until I further realized that 2300 + 150 = 2450, and by removing the kolel of 2, we get 2448, as in the year of the exodus from Egypt and the reception of the Torah at Sinai in 2448 HC. Moreover, both 2448 and 2450 equal 49 jubilee years, which we know from the sages correspond with the 49 gates of negativity that the Israelites were at before they crossed the Red (Reed) Sea.
Now, the Torah commands us emphatically to count jubilee years and this connection between the measurements of the Reflection Pool and to both times that the window to the Tree-of-Life reality is said to have opened and is predicted to open again is a little suspicious. Even more so, when we consider that there are exactly 66.6 jubilee years between those 2 dates and that the Washington Monument is 6660 inches tall.
Nevertheless, I held off writing about this until in a dream last night I saw in a straight line, just as it’s actually laid out, the 541 room Capital Building, the Washington Monument (the giant Egyptian Obelisk) and the 2300 foot long Reflecting Pool just beyond it. It dawned on me then that the US Capital was purposefully designed to reflect these aspects of the Exodus from Egypt across the red sea in 2448 HC, to the Promised Land, Israel, whose numerical value is 541, and who is symbolically represented by the Star of David (Magen David), a symmetrical 12-gonal star that is mathematical comprised of 541 points.
At the end of the Book of Vayikra (Leviticus), just when we’re taught about the jubilee year, we reach a turning point not only in the Torah, but in the Tree-of-Life as well. An intricate and very important message to us was woven into the structure of the Torah. And only by taking a step back does it become readily apparent.
The final two portions of this the 3rd Book, Behar and BeChukotai have 57 and 78 verses respectively, completing the upper 3 sefirot (dimensions) —Keter, Chochma and Binah—and splitting the Torah into two portion precisely along the Phi (Golden Mean) proportions. Followers of this blog know full well that Rav Ashlag and others have given us the year 5778 (2018 CE) as the time for the arrival of Moshiach (the Messiah) and the geula (the final redemtion), which ushers in the 3rdtime we had the opportunity to achieve the Tree-of-life reality, so it’s not surprising that the Torah would once again be encoded to showcase that date.
There’s no coincidence that we’re told to count jubilee years (50 years intervals) or that we’re told to do it in the 115th chapter in the Torah (Behar, 25:1-24). Previously, we’d been told to count 50 days from Pesach to the reception of the 10 Commandments (Tree-of-Life) on Shavuot. This is called the Omer period, but kabbalistically the sages have taught us that “days,” “months,” and “years” are synonymous and that counting 50 days is also a message to count 50 years. But the message isn’t just to count 50 year intervals, which were told to do explicitly in Behar anyway. But that we’re supposed to count a specific period, we which can extrapolate to mean from the exile in 2448 HC to the reception of the Tree-of-life, which if it occurs as foretold in 5778 HC, will be precisely 66.6 jubilee years. But it would also be the 115th jubilee year from the first time we had Tree-of-life consciousness back in the Garden of Eden with Adam.
So are there hidden time codes hidden year? Of course.
In an article we wrote about the famous “End of Days” prophecy of Daniel and Time, times, and half a time, we discussed the connection to the Torah’s odd wording in the Chayeh Sarah verse “Shanah, shanah, Shan’im” or “year, year, and years,” especially since Shanah can be regarded as “time” as well.
To better understand this, we need to go to a place before time, where the primordial letter alef exists before the physical universe took shape. According to Abraham and his Sefer Yetzirah (The Book of Formation) in that place/empty space before Creation and before the Torah, the 3 Mothers (Alef, Shin, and Mem) came into existence. But first among them was the letter alef.
Alef typically has the numerical value of 1 and is spelled, ELP, which has the numerical value of 111. Now the Tree-of-life is split into the 3 upper worlds, and Zeir Anpin, or the 6-world (dimension) ladder than takes us from our world (Malchut) to the upper ones. The Torah is akin to Zeir Anpin, this 6-dimensional channel, which is why 60% of the verses in it begin with the letter Vav (of numerical value 6) and why there are 6 letter Alefs in the Torah’s first verse, totaling 6, or 666 when spelled out. The place delineated by the final two chapters totaling 57-78 verses and that ultimately the splits the Torah into the precise Phi proportion as will be explained below also according to the sages, splits the Torah into the upper 3 sefirot and into Zeir Anpin with the start of the Book of Numbers (Bamidbar).
So since the Israelites received and blew the 2nd Tree-of-life opportunity at Mt Sinai in the 50th jubilee year from Adam and the 1st opportunity, we now have the 3rd opportunity approaching after an additional 66.6 jubilee years, and 66.6 is not only very relevantly connected to the 6 letter Alefs of Creation and representative of the numerical and all-important kabbalistic fraction 2/3, but it is also 1/3 more 50 (i.e. 66.6/50 = 1.33).
Interesting enough, the two portions whose verses total 57-78 and whose first and last verse contains the words “B’har Sinai (On Mount Sinai)” have 7 and 5 paragraphs between them, paragraphs 87-98 of Vayikra to be precise and the sum of 87 through 98 is 1110, or that of 10 letter Alefs (ELP). And in case we were to miss this, Behar is the 32nd portion in the Torah, as in the 32 Paths of Wisdom that make up The tree-of-Life and as in the value, 32, or the 4 component letters that physically make of the letter Alef (Yud-Vav-Vav-Yud).
The Arizal further explains that Alef (ELP) can also be the word elef, meaning “one thousand (1000).” Now, if we substitute, as the Arizal did, the value 1000 for the value 1, the value of alef spelled out become 1110, which is 10 x 111, or Alef expanded to cover all 10sefira (dimensions).
So if you ever thought that the dividing up of the Torah into portions and paragraphs, etc was arbitrary, this should serve as a reminder of the depth of its encoding and technology.
Moreover, “Shanah, shanah, Shan’im” also has the numerical value of 1110, and thus is spiritually connected to primordial time, to the beginning before Creation. We wont go into again here all the technology built into that portion from Chayah Sarah where it’s declared Sarah was 127 or from Daniel 12:7 or how they both connect to Moshiach and 5778, but we will explain that Alef (ELP) is also Eluf, or “chief” and thus 1110 also represents the 10 chiefs or heads of the sefirot in unison, which must occur in order for the Tree-of-life reality to manifest in our world.
It should not be so surprising what is found at parsha Behar since Behar (BHR) has the same numerical value as “Light (Ohr)” and “secrets (Raz),” but the beautiful moment comes at the close of this 3rd Book, after the 57-78 sign, when in the first chapter of Bamidbar.
As we explain in much greater depth in There’s Nothing Random About the Universe, the primordial mathematical constant that controls the natural shaping of spirals, from the stars in our galaxy, to the petals on our flowers, to the shape of our seashells and our Trees, and to the growth of our populations is called Phi. Phi is a specially balanced proportion that exists between the two parts of a segmented whole and then to the whole itself (i.e. the short length is to the longer one as the longer one is to the entire length). Nature naturally follows this proportion at all turns, and when art or architecture does too it gives us a beautiful sense of harmony, balance, and well-being. But Phi is not only integral to the existence of the universe, but to the design of the Torah as well, as we’ll show below. Moreover, as is covered extensively in There’s Nothing Random About the Universe it is uniquely connected to the number and thus the year 5778 as well.
There are 5 Books in the Torah, all of varying length, number of chapters, words, letters, verses, etc. and it was written down by hand thousands of years ago, before anyone had ever heard of primordial mathematical constants, or calculators. So it is amazing that the Torah is actually divided into specific segments using the Phi proportion with the first chapter of Numbers (Bamidbar) being the dividing point in terms of the number of letters, words, and also verses, splitting the Torah into two harmonic portions.
(Numbers + Deuteronomy)/(Genesis + Exodus + Leviticus) = .61803399 letters, or words, or verses
Also, as illustrated in The Genesis Prayer, while the collective number of words, letters, and verses in the entire Torah = 390,625, which is exactly 58, they too as a whole connect with Phi in that:
(Total Words, Letters, and Verses in the Torah) / (106 x (√1 +√2))
= 1.618022
Moreover, as is also illustrated in The Genesis Prayer:
The Words, Letters, Verses, Columns and Rows in the Torah = 248000 x 1.61803399
With 248 being the numerical value of Abraham and also of Mercy (Rachem), but also—and here is another clue—of Bamidbar (Numbers), where we find the Torah divided precisely into the Phi proportion.
Now, we mentioned earlier that Behar began with the 115 chapter of the full 187 chapters in the Torah and that 5778 occurs in the 115th jubilee year, actually at 115.56 jubilee years from Adam and the first Tree-of-life reality we were offered. So how coincidental is it that 187/phi = 115.57236.. and that 115.57236 jubilee years (Biblical 50-year intervals) = 5778.618.
Or that the last chapter in Bechukotai, the other half of the 57-78 portions, is the 117 chapter and 117/187 = .625 with 625 being the square root of 390,625, the collective number of words, letters, and verses in the Torah.
There are moments when science, religion and spirituality come together. There aren’t as many as there should be because everyone has his own entrenched beliefs. Nevertheless, this is one of those precious moments of harmony, when we can all be in awe, when we can all see and understand that the primordial underlying structure of the physical universe is the same as that of the Bible and of the spiritual world as well, and that this is in no way random.
Given all that we’ve seen, as the events of next few years unfold we need to pay close attention to the Torah, because nothing is random, and all has been foretold.
The message is that the 3rd opportunity for the Tree-of-Life is upon us, whether we’ve chosen to prepare ourselves or not.
This weeks Haftorah portion tells us Judgment day is coming and When! I was preparing an article this week about the 4 times H’Mashiach is explicated mentioned in the Torah, but the Pesach cleaning took precedence: nevertheless, this and every Shabbat Hagadol–the Shabbat of Redemption—just before Pesach we read the Haftorah portion Malachi 3:4-24 about the ”End of Days.”
The final verse in that reading is “Behold, I will send you Elijah the Prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of God.”
And that verse is actually repeated twice, word for word, first in chapter 23 and again in chapter 25: “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of God.”
The final 5 words of those verses, “boy yom YHVH hagadol v’hanorah (BE YVM YHVH HGDVL VHNVR,”E) meaning “the coming of the great and terrible day of God,” numerically add up to 407, whose square root, as we’ve explained recently and repeatedly in context, is 20.17424, which can be split up into the year 2017 and 424, the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David. But what makes this connection doubly emphatic is that the final 6 words (“before the coming of the great and terrible day of God,” add up to 577 as in 5777-5778 or 2017-2018CE which the tzaddikim have given us as that self same day for the Geula, the Final Redemption.”
And the square root of the sum of the entire verse (1661) is 40.7…once again.
So why is the verse repeated twice?
There are multiple reasons for one of the most ominous and significant verses in the Tanakh (Bible) to be repeated twice, like the hitting of the stone by Moses twice and the two sets of Tablets that Moses brought down, but today we will explore only the gematria, the encoded secret one. There are 49 letters in each of the verses, which connect to the 49 days of redemption, the 49-day Omer period from Passover to reception of the 10 Commandments (Utterances) on Shavuot, the 50thday. And the 50thor hidden letter of this verse, would be the final letter vav (V) in Eliyahu (ELYHV), Elijah in English, who we know from the Arizal was originally Pinchas, whose zealousness stopped the plagues and saved the Israelite. According to some, that vav (V)–written in Hebrew as a vertical line–is the spear of Pinchas, which according to the Zohar is the broken vav(V) in the word Shalom (peace) in the Torah portion Pinchas, where is describes his zealousness. We find that broken vav(V) in the phrase “Covenant of Peace.”
Moreover, this broken Vav (V) of numerical value 6, is reminiscent of the 408 missing component letters from the total 600,000 component letters (exactly 599,592) of the Torah, which, if they were represented by the letter vav(V) would equal numerically a total value of 408 x 6, or 2448, which in turn is 49 jubilee years (Biblical 50-year interval) after the Birth of Adam, and is precisely the year the Torah was received at Sinai, 2448 HC.
Now back to the two verses that seem to herald judgment day, the prophesied day of the final redemption (the geula). The total gematria for the 26 (YHVH) words in the 2 verses with the kolel for the YHVH (4) added for each—representing together (4 +4) the 8 days/years of the Brit of Mashiach as described by the tzaddikim, is 3330. This, as noted many times in previously articles concerning other verses and Torah portions, is exactly 66.6 jubilee years (50-year interval) from the exodus from Egypt and reception of the Torah (Tree-of-life consciousness) in 2448, or precisely 3330 years before 5778 (2018 CE), 8 years from today.
We are the Chosen Ones. What does it mean to be chosen?
My wife wasn’t feeling well the other day and when I left to drop my son off at a play date, I told my daughter she was in charge while I was gone. She immediately said, “Then I’m the boss,” so I explained to her that it meant that she had to take responsibility while I was away (45 minutes), not that she could boss anyone around.
A leader leads by example, not by decree. And that goes the same for a people (the chosen ones). We have to take responsibility for what’s happening all around us and to personally work to fix it, without telling anyone else what to do. If we can then inspire them to voluntarily help us, we will then be leaders.
We haven’t done that. Moses did. King David did. The Baal Shem Tov did. And a long list of tzaddikim understood that and did it on a smaller scales. But is anyone today doing it? Is anyone ready to step up?
The Geula (final redemption) will happen for those that are ready and have accepted the Tree-of-life reality, but for the majority it won’t, just like at Mt Sinai, as we’ve explained in numerous articles already. G-d provides cosmic windows for things to happen and either we’re ready and prepared for them, or we’re not. No one can just appear and do the work for us.
Think about it, if that we’re the case, why make us wait? If we weren’t going to change on our own anyway, why wait until now, the year 2500 would have been just as good a time.
It’s not about waiting for Moshiach (the Messiah) to come; it’s about becoming like the Mashiach. Those that have consciously accepted and prepare themselves for the Tree-of-life reality will step through it when the cosmic window opens.
But how do we reach the millions that don’t realize that, and are waiting for someone to do it for them? And if we don’t try to reach them, what does that say about whether we’ve fully embraced the Tree-of-life consciousness or understood the essence of the Torah, with its over-riding principle to love they neighbor as thyself.
We’ve been told Moshiach Ben Joseph will come first. Will he? It depends on us. Any one of us can stand up and become the leader that the world needs. If he steps up and takes responsibility, and inspires many others to follow and to take responsibility themselves, who would argue that he wouldn’t be Moshiach Ben Joseph.
Then the way will be paved for Moshiach Ben David to take us the rest of the way.
As the cosmic window of opportunity opens for us, someone needs to fulfill that mission, if not the 50thgate will close again. Back at Sinai, in 2448, we were at the 49th gate, which not coincidentally was the 49th jubilee year (50-year Biblical period) since Adam.
As we finish our 5769th9th of Av, we are reminded of the destruction of the First Holy Temple in 3338, 66.6 jubilee years after the sin of Adam, and are reminded of the darkness that comes from choosing the Tree-of-knowledge-of-good-and-evil over the tree-of-life. Now, 66.6 jubilee years after the revelation and opportunity at Sinai, we face the choice again. 5778, the year known to the tzaddikim, is just around the corner.
When that 50th gate swings open will we go through as a tiny group, or as a whole people? Will we go through at all?
The First Holy Temple was destroyed in –422 BCE, and as readers of “The Divine Calendar” know, 422 is the gematria value of “Seventy(70).” The Second Holy Temple was destroyed in 70 CE. In 5778, the nation of Israel will be 70 years old, the age that King David died; will we go through the gate as a nation, or let fear, doubts, and hatred grip us as in the past?
We each have a choice to make.
It’s up to each of us to take responsibility and to step up, and for one of us to take it to heart and step higher, inspiring the rest of us to follow in his beautiful footsteps. Let’s all take that first step, and then the second to make it easier for him—9 years is not much time to work with and we all have a long way to go.
These are the journey(s) of our lives. In the Torah portion Masei, we encounter the list of the 42 journeys the Israelites took during their 40 years in the desert including exiting the exile in Egypt at Pi-Haratha to entering the Promised Land. The tzaddikim, including most notably the Baal Shem Tov, have told us that these journeys parallel the journeys each of us must undertake to return our souls to G-d in purity, and also that these mimic the journeys that we all take collectively from the moment of Creation to the geula (final redemption).
The 42 places were separated from each other by the prefixes to (Bet) and from (Mem) and also by the word journey (VYSAV). The prefixes M and B, together have the value 42 and also reference the 42-Letter Name (the Shem MB), while the word journey (VYSAV) is repeated 42 times in this section of the Book of Numbers, chapter 33. It is repeated another 17 times, the numerical value of the Hebrew word tov, meaning good, throughout the rest of the Torah, for a total of 59 times.
The word journey (VYSAV) is interestingly constructed, as it can be split into VYS of numerical value 76 and then AV also of numerical value 76, and when we multiply 76 x 76 we get 5776, plus 2 for the kolel of the two 76’s gives us 5778, the year the tzaddikim have indicated for the arrival of the Moshiach (Messiah) and the geula.
This makes sense to readers of this blog and of “The Divine Calendar” and “There’s Nothing Random in the Universe,” as we’ve already seen a preponderance of evidence for the date 5778 (2018 CE), but within the context of the 42 journeys, let’s look back to Creation, where the 42 Letter Name comes from (the first verse of the Torah and the first 42 letters of the Torah).
Before we do that we should mention that when we add the 14 times the word “will journey” without the final vav (VYSA) to the 59 times the word journeyed (VYSAV) is used, we get a total of 73 times in the Torah that the word “journey” is mentioned, which is interesting because the small gematria value of the upper 42 Letter Name is 159 and that of the lower one is 173, and the unification of the two brings about the redemption.
This is significant for several reasons: 1) 73 is the numerical value of the sefira/dimension of Chochma (wisdom); 2) The total gematria of the Torah’s first verse is 2701, which is equivalent to the sum of all the positive integers through 73; and 3) The number 9 divided by the written out small gematria of the 42 letters is equal to 73.1415777, a graphic combination of the number 73, the mathematical constant Pi (3.14159…) and the year 5777(5778).
Thus through the 73 times the word journey is utilized in the Torah, the journey is anchored at the moment of Creation, and extended outward from there, theoretically ending in 5778, So let’s take the year 5776 derived directly from the word “journeyed (VYSAV)” and we see that when we take it back to Creation through 5776/42 we get 137.5238… with 137 being the numerical value of Kabbalah, meaning “to receive” and both 52 and 238 (Rachel) represent Malchut.
It’s all connected, as explained in “The Genesis Prayer,” 137 and 73 are both reciprocals of one another as 1/73 = .0137 and visa-versa, and the total gematria value of the torah’s first verse, 2701 is 73% of that of the 42-Letter Name, 3701.
137 is also the numerical value of the name of the angel of the Torah, Yofiel, and like all the angels represents a specific energy that we feel, yet cannot begin to grasp. Likewise, Metatron, chief of the Archangels, guardian of knowledge and the Throne of G-d, has the numerical value of 314, the same as the mathematical value of Pi (3.14159265358…). He is the key to all Creation, permeates all our existence, and yet is totally beyond our comprehension. When G-d created our world, he first set forth these specific energies as a basis for matter and life to feed off of, a dynamic scaffolding of sorts.
It’s not coincidence that physicists see the universe as 13.7 Billion years old.
Within the name Metatron (MTtTtRVN) we have the double letter tet-tet, which the Zohar explains has the numerical value 18 and thus is chai (life), but this is also the marker for the end of our cycle, for as I explained it to my children, the end of the time-out Adam was given as punishment for forsaking the tree-of-life for the momentary pleasure of the tree-of-knowledge of good and evil.
For you see, as fully explained in the book “There’s Nothing Random in the Universe,” the other primordial mathematical constant that guides life and the universe, Phi (1.61803399…), when raised to the power of 18, in other words (Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi X Phi), equals 5778.000.
And the letters that are left in his name (MRVN) add up numerically to 296, that of “the Earth (HERZ),” the final word in the Torah’s first verse, the verse which, as detailed in “The Genesis Prayer,” also equates to Pi (3.14155) through a simple gematria operation and also in a dozen other ways.
And while we know from “There’s Nothing Random in the Universe” that Pi is also intimately connected to the date 5778, we can also apply the same formula we did with Phi and see that Pi raised to the power of 18 can be divided by 666.52 squared to equal 2000, the Hebrew year 5760, which is 18 years prior to 5778 (2018 ce), and is the year that Rav Abraham Azulai of blessed memory advised the period of Oy and Ashray would begin.
These are the journeys of chai (life), our individual lives and our collective life as a people. In the Hebrew days of the week there are collectively 28 letters, connecting them to the 28 letters of the Torah’s first verse as well, and they add up to exactly 3000 in gematria, as explained in the dailyzohar.com. If we take the 7th day as “the seventh (HShBYAY)” instead of Shabbat, then the total gematria, including the kolel of 6 for the 6 preceding days, is 2701, the same as that of the Torah’s first verse. By the way, the two variations together, 2701 + 3000 + the 7 days = 5708, the year Israel became a nation, 70 years before 5778, with 70 being the expansion of the 7 days through the 10 sefirot (dimensions).
Every week is another opportunity to connect to the full energy of Creation through redemption. Every week that passes is a missed opportunity.
Every week we pass through another cycle of 7, another journey, and must ask ourselves what we learned about ourselves that brought us closer to G-d, through awe, love, or appreciation, that brought us closer to ending out time-out. In explaining it to my children when they asked about it, it was simple. You get time-out from your father when you’ve done something wrong because he loves you and wants you to learn from your mistake (with mercy), and when the time out is over, if you’ve been good, realize the error of your ways, and are in a good place, the time out is over; if not, it gets prolonged.
And to bring it full circle, the square root of 5778/(7 day cycle) =28.730… as in the 28 letters and the sum of the 73 integers in the Torah’s first verse, from which Creation stems. But we have the cycles of our years, lives, generations and jubilee years (7 X 7 +1 years) to contend with as well. We must use them all to work on ourselves.
5778 years is a long time-out, for us anyway. Let’s make sure we’re in a good place, have realized the error of our ways and are ready to embrace G-d (Our Father) and the tree-of-life reality when it ends.
When the Israelites, left Egypt and stood at Sinai, and last had the opportunity of receiving immortality and the Tree-of-life reality through a reprieve in the time-out, the year was 2448, 66.6 jubilee years before 5778, and 42.4% of the way to 5778.424 is the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David. There are no coincidences in G-d timetable, His actions, or His Torah. Let’s not let doubts overcome us as they did our ancestors at Sinai.
Spirituality (the realization of the tree-of-life reality) doesn’t just happen; it takes work and time, which is why G-d gave us so much of both. So let’s not find ourselves staring down at 5778, and looking back, saying, “if only He had given us more time.”

It’s Rosh Chodesh Av, the month controlled by the influence of the Sun, as explained by Abraham, the Patriarch, in the Sefer Yetzirah. This is the Sun, whose surface temperature is 5778 K. Let’s connect to the energy that G-d has given us, and come out of our time-out better for having had lived through it.
A lot happened in Parsha Chukath, and it all has to do with the so-called end of days, the next 9 years.
Right after G-d tells Aaron and Moses about using the Red Heifer for cleansing, Miriam dies in Parsha Chukath in the beginning of chapter 20, the 137th chapter in the Torah. We know that the 137th chapter is significant because 137 is the value of Kabbalah “to receive,” and since 137 is 1/73, the value of Chochma (wisdom), it means “to receive wisdom.”
And with Miriam’s passing, so vanishes the well that sustained the Israelites in the desert, which results in Numbers (Bamidbar) 20:08 G-d revealing to Moses and Aaron how to get water from the cliff (rock).He gave Moses a staff (rod) and told them to speak to the rock.Instead, Moses struck the rock twice and water gushed forward. But because he didn’t speak to the rock as instructed, neither Moses nor Aaron was allowed to enter Israel, which prevented the Tree-of-Life from taking root there.In verse 20:09, Moses picks up the staff and begins the process that ends with G-d saying in verse 20:12, “You did not have enough faith in me.”
The Israelites were in the 40th and final year of their journey from exile to the Promised Land, in Kadesh at the time, the 33rd place of the 42 journeys that took them from exile to freedom.Kadesh, whose numerical value is 404, has a square root of 20.09… and the total numerical value of all those 33 places is exactly 15,000, with 9 more journeys to make in that final year.
After the incident with the water, the Israelites request that Edom allow them to pass through using the King’s highway and they were denied, so the Torah dizzily takes us through the final 9 places, skirting Edom, and through the battles the Israelites fought and won. These were part of the “Book of the Wars of the Lord,” and they highlighted the defeats of the King Sichon, and his city of Chesbon in particular, and of King Og. The action was interrupted to recite the Song of the Well, and the Song of Cheshbon.
Just before the battles with Sichon, after Aaron dies and after they defeated the Canaanites, doubts overtook the Israelites in the final moments, just as it happened at Mt Sinai. The first time, G-d withdrew the tree-of-life and immortality from them, and this time He sent them venomous snakes.G-d then gave Moses the antidote, a copper snake that drew the judgment out of them when they gazed upon it. We know that both the snake and Moshiach have the same gematria and that they are opposite sides of the same coin.Thus when the evil inclination overtook them, G-d let them taste the tree-of-knowledge of good and evil, so that they could once again appreciate the tree-of-life and know the difference.
So lets see what’s really going on here.The numerical value of “speak to the rock” is 848 or 2 x 424, the numerical value of Moshiach Ben David, which may explain help to why Moses struck the rock 2 times. Another reason has to do with Adam eating from the tree-of-knowledge twice, and the 2 times Moses had to carry down the tablets, as will be come more apparent later in this article.
For some reason square roots play a big part in understanding this portion, and thus we find that 8.48 is the square root of 72, as in the 72 Names (Triplets) utilized in splitting the Red Sea (Sea of Reeds) and derived from the 3 verses of 72 letters that describe that splitting.Since Moses staff played a part then too, and both incidents concern water, this connection to the 72 Names is probably meritorious and the Names were probably used here as well. What’s more, as this entire portion is about the final years leading up to the geula and to Moshiach, the 72 Names will probably play a part then as well.
In preparation for understanding this portion we should also note that the numerical value for the phrase used in the Torah “Water from the rock” (Ma’im Min Hselah) is 345, the same as “Moshe” (Moses).
One major hint as to what is going on in this portion is that the gematria sofit (final) value of Sichon (SYChN) is 778 as in 5778, suggesting that the battle-filled 9 final journeys of the Israelites final year might indeed refer to the 9 final years from 2009 – 2018 (5778 HC). And strengthening that line of thought is the structure of the word Cheshon (ChShBVN), where Sichon is found, in which we have the numerical value of Chet (Ch) being 8 and the other 4 letters being 358, that of the word Mashiach (Messiah). Keep in mind that according to the tzaddikim, the figurative brit (milah) of Moshiach will take place in 5778, after 8 years, in the same way that a brit milah occurs for a baby boy after 8 days.
The portion begins oddly as well, and we know that any oddities in the Torah were purposely included to draw the attention of the tzaddikim and the Torah scholars. After the usual “G-d spoke to” the Torah says “that the following is declared to be the Torah’s decree as commanded by God,” which in Hebrew is Zot Chukat H’Torah Asher Zah YHVH L’Emor Daber (TzETChKTHTVRH EshR ZVH YHVH), or 2160 in total numerical value, and 2160 is 10 times the value of the word for awe (216), the necessary attribute for reaching the Tree-of-life. Moreover, we know that whenever anything in Torah is exactly 10 times a known numerical value, it usually means that it is inclusive of all 10 sefirot (dimensions).In this case, it is also not coincidentally 10 times the numerical value of the sefirot of Gevura, representing spiritual judgment, and of the 216 letters in the 72 Names (Triplets) of G-d.
The word, Zot, of numerical value 408, according to the Zohar is a reference to the time of Mashiach, and also refers specifically to the 408 letters missing from the 600,000 composite letters in the entire Torah (599,692). The value 408 is also .666 of 612, the value of the word Brit, Covenant, as in G-d’s Covenant with Abraham that took place in 21018 HC.
The word, Chukath, is composed of ChK and T, employing that same KCh, of numerical value 108, as the word for “take” in the phrase “Take the staff (rod),” used to channel the water. 108 is also the numerical value of the “golden calf,” the second sin—Adam’s was the first—to cause Man to lose the Tree-of-life reality. And just to be clear, 108 is also 2 x 54, the numerical value of the “staff” that Moses used to strike the rock, and since “water from the rock” is and allusion Moses (345), he struck himself (and Aaron).
Reading of The Divine Calendar know the extreme significance of the number 8 in terms of Biblical dates and the timing for the arrival of the Moshiach, but the letter Chet, of numerical value 8, when spelled out without the yud, has the spelled-out word value of 408, as in Zot. Moreover, using that particular spelling, the spelled out value of the 3 letters in the word Chukat (ChKT) is exactly 1000, an allusion to the crowning and highest sefira (dimension) of keter, and also to the completion of the Tree-of-Life in that all 1000 = 103 meaning all 10 dimensions are completed within the perfectly balanced 3 column structure of the universe.
Nevertheless, the first 4 words of this odd phrase, “that the following is declared to be the Torah’s decree,” add up to 2019, when the kolel for the letters is subtracted, and 2019 is the first year that the tree-of-life reality is supposed to be in effect. This interpretation is strengthened by the presence of the word Zot that begin the phrase, and whose square root is 20.19…
Now, the next four words of the odd phrase can be split into 2 pairs, TzETChKTand HTVRH Esh. The second pair can be read as Rosh H’Torah (Head of the Torah), and the numerical value of the first pair, TzETChKT, is 916, that of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the author of the Zohar, which together makes a powerful statement whose timing was concealed within the gematria and purpose was signaled by the cryptic word Zot.
Now, as for the “Book of the Wars of the Lord” which is Hebrew is B’Sefer Milchamot Hashem (BSPR MLChMT YHVH), while the first 7 letters total 420 in value, the first of the 3 words, B’sefer, has an ordinal value of 54, same as the value of the rod.
And as we’ve discussed in previous articles 54 is not only the timing frequency (54 beats/minute) that the human brain functions at, but it is the measure of the double cycle of the 27 Hebrew letters and moreover it solves for the equation 107 x 54 = 5778, where the sum of the positive integers through 107 also equals 5778.
The numerical value of the “Book of the Wars of the Lord” (BSPR MLChMT YHVH) issplit into the first 2 words of numerical value 860 (or 10 x 86, the value of the Name of G-d that reflects spiritual judgment, Elohim) and the Tetragrammaton (YHVH) of numerical value 26. Together they add up to 886, plus a kolel of 2, which gives us a value of 888, recalling what we said about the number 8.
And if you doubt the connection, please note that the sun of the values of the spelled out letters plus their kolel in the word Moshiach (MshYCh) is 888.
Observing the letters in the “Book of the Wars of the Lord” (BSPR MLChMT YHVH) we see that there are 13 letters centered on the central letter Chet, once again. And adding the 1st and last letters, and working inward to the central (Chet), then summing their square roots give us 66.652, as in the 66.6 jubilees years (Biblical mandated 50 year intervals) from the reception of the Torah in 2448 HC, when we last stood at the foot of the Tree-of-life to 5778:(BH, SV, PH, RY, MT, LM, and Ch)
The 52 in 66.652 can signify the level of the Tetragrammaton known as Ban, and referred to as Malchut, the bottommost dimension of manifestation. 52 is also the numerical; value of the phrase’s initials (BMY), which can also stand for the 42-Letters of the Name of G-d.
If we peel off the letters of each word, starting with their initial we get BMY, etc we’re left with 4 triplets and the letter Tav (T), which as the last letter in the alef-bet indicates finality and the level of malchut. Then if we add up the square roots of each of these 4 triplets we get 42.3 plus .1 for the kolel and we get 424, the numerical value of Moshiach Ben David: (BMY, SLH, PChV, RMH and T)
How do we know to permute the letters in this fashion? Because we are told by Rav Ashlag that in the Zohar Shlach Lecha #289, the Mashiach, as did Daniel, permuted the famous letters in Daniel 5:25 MENE MENE TEKEL UFARSHIN in just the same way. “G-d has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to the end…”
Whether we divide the letters in pairs of triplets, the two letters left out Chet and Tav, interestingly enough for the letter Chet (ChT) once again, or numerical value 408.
As for the initials of B’Sefer Milchamot Hashem(BSPR MLChMT YHVH), they connect to phrase recited during the highpoint of the Amidah prayer connection Baruch Cavod YHVH Mimkomo (G-d is in his Everlasting Place), whose initials are BCYM, and also to the 42-Letter Sword of Moses hidden within the Song of the Sea, whose initials also begin Mi Camoka Belim YHVH (MCBY), recited just before the Amidah.That these initials sum up to 72 is significant as the two tools necessary to fight these wars will be the 42-Letter name and the 72 Names (Triplets). In case you are wondering the Caf is the complimentary letter to the Tav (T) in Milchamot.
The wars described in the final journeys of the Israelites will be repeated in one form or another within the next 9 years, and the torah is warning us as to what will happen. As hinted at in the name of King Og (AVG), the last 9 years of the final 70—Ayin(A) has a numerical value of 70—will be split into two parts, the 3 years—Gimmel(G) has a value of 3—and the final 6 years—Vav(V) has the value of 6. This means that for 2009 there will be a break at 2012, probably when Amalek (doubts) take hold in earnest after the Mayan illusion, and the wars will continue for 6 more through 2018.Recall that it was in verse 20:12 that G-d says, “You did not have enough faith in me.”
Regarding those doubts, the last time we stood to receive the Tree-of-life, the Israelites weren’t able to wait the final 6 hours for Moses to return from upon Mt Sinai with the two tablets of the Torah of Moshiach and receive immortality. And in Chukath, we see again that they couldn’t wait until the final end of the 40 years in the desert before complaining, and yearning to return to Egypt.
Doubts were always their downfall and have always been ours.While the Israelites defeated the Canaanites and the Amorites, they never defeated the Amalekites, who kabbalistically represent their doubts because the Hebrew word for doubt (Sofek) and Amalek have the same numerical value. And this is the greatest war of all, for it will determine who receives the geula (final redemption) and who reaches the tree-of-life, and conversely, who stays behind again in the world of the tree-of-knowledge of good and evil.
According to the Baal Shem Tov, the spiritual significance of the red heifer that begins this portion is to help us cleanse ourselves of our ego, which is at the root of our doubts, and which we know will be all the more important for us to do as the days of the final redemption approach over the next 9 years.
In 2 days it will be Shavuot and we’ll stay up all night to receive the Light of Immortality, the Light of Torah and Mashiach, and how much we receive will depend on where our heads are at, how much work we did to prepare our souls over Pesach and during the 49 days of the counting the Omer prior to Shavuot on the 50th day.
During those 50 days we count and try to purify 50+49+48…levels or a total of 1225 levels, which is 35 squared.
Last week, we finished reading the 3rd Book of the Torah, Vayikra, whose last two portions, usually read together, have 57-78 verses, as in the year 5778 prophesied by the tzaddikim for the arrival of the light of Moshiach in its entirety. The final two Books of the Torah have 70 verses, which is not only analogous to the 70 years from the birth of the nation of Israel in 5708 to 5778, but to the 70 years that Adam gave to David (midpoint of his life 70/2 = 35 in 2889 HC), whose life marked the midpoint from Adam to 5778.
Now the 4th Book of the Torah, Numbers (Bamidbar), that we just started reading this week begins by telling us that the year is 2450, which just happens to be 2 x 1225, and the 70 remaining chapters in the Torah (after the 57-78 point is also 2 x 35.
So why 70? We’ve answered that previously in terms of the sefira of Da’at and the 7 x 10 sub-sefirot of Zeir Anpin and Malchut, but it was in the 70th verse in the Torah that G-d punished the snake and told him that he’ll eat dust for all the days in his life, meaning that his life was finite. And perhaps its end will be found at 70 years. It was after 70 years of Abraham’s life that G-d made his Covenant with him in 2018 (HC), which is analogs to 2018 CE or 5778 HC again.
The verse that G-d punished the snake for his part in separating man from the tree-0f-life reality was verse Bereshit 3:14, and as we’ve explained in other articles and in The Genesis Prayer, when we divide the number 9 by the small gematria of the 42-letter Name of G-d we get:
9/.123049.. =73.1415777
which is 70 + 3.14… or 70 + Pi
And thus we can see how the 42-Letter Name (Ana B’koach) is integrally connected to this verse, as it is to the first verse of the Torah, and according to the tzaddikim to the geula and Moshiach in 5777-5778.
Now it just so happens that 73.1415778 = 2 x 36.5708 and while 5708 is the year Israel became a nation, 36 is one more than 35, which was the square root of the total counting of the Omer (1..50=1225).
Now while the sum of the integers through 73 is the exact gematria of the Torah’s first verse (2701), the sum of the integers through 36 is 666, as in the 66.6 jubilee years from 2448, when the Israelites last stood in unity to receive the Torah and the year 5778.
The hints given to us tell us that by being unified and by utilizing the 42-Letter Name of G-d we can not only count down the last 9 years to the geula but also to the last years of the life of the snake. So when G-d spoke to the snake in Bereshit 3:14, using the same language He uses to speak to Moses, He was considering the period afterward, when the snake (Nachash) of gematria 358 would be no more and Moshiach (also 358) would reign over our consciousness instead.
This weeks portion was also about the counting of the people, who numbered 603,550 and while that is 600,000 plus 3550 or 600,000 plu2 x 1775, which is the value of the 27 letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, the 600,000 Israelites that were at Sinai at the time of the reception of the Torah were descended from the 70 family members accompanying Jacob into Egypt and as the Arizal explains the 600,000 souls came from the 70 members, from the 12sons from the 3 patriarchs from Adam and
600000/70/12/3 = 238.095 = exactly 1/42
And so the unification of the soul reverts back through the 42-Letter Name as it was in the very beginning.
But what makes this so much more necessary now is that 238.095 = exactly the atomic weight of Uranium 238 and as we are all well aware Iran is arming themselves this year with nuclear weapons, North Korea with more testing, and Pakistan with the Taliban only a few miles and a couple political or military blunders away from taking control of their arsenal.
We need to come together now and seek out Moshiach as One.
And please note that while the total numbers of letters in the Torah is compositely 600,000-408, it is visibly 304,805 and 304805 x .666 =203,000.13. and while 203 is the gematria of the word Boreh (to create) it’s also the first 3 letters in the Torah of BEReshit, but for us on Shavuot, what it means is that we can tap into creation through the 7th line of the Ana B’koach, where we find the Shin, Vav and Tav of ShBVAVT, and where the gematria of the two triplets gives us 500 x 406 = 203,000, and the remaining letters add up to 78, as in the initials of Etz Chaim, the Tree-of-life in the year 5778.

For some reason many Moshaich blogs are expecting something big to happen this Rosh Chodesh Sivan (Gemini), in 2 days time.
This is just a quick note before Shabbat to let you know that we’re keeping all of you in mind. This weekend, the 44th day of the Omer will be upon us and we’ve written numerous times this past year about the relationship of the number 44 and the 10 plagues and Israel. For those that haven’t read it, at least you should know that the ordinal value of the initials of the 10 plagues adds up to 44, the numerical value of the first plague, Dam (blood) and that the sum of the standard gematria value of those same initials adds up to 541, that of Israel.
Now, oddly enough, when we add up the gematria sofit value of the 44 letters in the central trunk of the menora that forms Psalm 67 that we count on each day through the 44th day of the Omer, they add up to 5708 exactly, the year Israel became a nation (1948 CE).
And all 49 letters of the full Omer counting equal 5778 + 73, or the year the tzaddikim have prophesied for the manifestation of Moshiach plus the value of Chochma (wisdom).
Moreover, if we add up the square roots of all values for all 49 words of Psalm 67 counted during the 49 days of the Omer (deducting 1 for the kolel of each day counted) they add up to 666.41,
And as we previously discussed, the counting of the Omer is analogous to the counting of the jubilee years (50 year interval) until the arrival of Mashiach, and there are exactly 66.6 jubilee years from the reception of the Torah in 2448 and 5778.
So as we count the last few days before the great revelation of light on Shavuot, when we once again receive the Torah, let’s keep our kavanot (focus) on removing all the negativity, blockages, aspects of death and judgment in our lives and in our souls that would prevent the revelation of Moshiach in our world. And remember (see previously articles on the Omer), the energy and spirit of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai is still with us to help us in our task.
By the way, the 44th day of the Omer is Rosh Chodesh Sivan.
If you signed up for the Daily Zohar and I highly recommend that you do, then you would have received the translation below with its Aramaic counterpart in your in box this morning. I just want to point out a couple things concerning the sign of the covenant mentioned below that relate to our generation.
The sign,אות has a gematria value of 407, just like the 6th word in the Torah ואת, and the square root of 407 is 20.17424 or graphically the year 2017 coupled with 424, the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David. And if that is not enough of a sign, the full gematria value (standard, ordinal, and kolel for the 7 letters) of Sign of the Covenant, אות ברית, is 1109, whose square root is 33.30, as in the 3330 years (66.6 jubilee years) from 2448 to 5778, which begins in 2017, and ends in 2018, the same year in the Hebrew Calendar that G-d established his Covenant with Abraham.
There is so much light in every word of Rabbi Shimon, who dictated these portions, (the Tikunei Zohar), that we’re translating and publishing for the first time ever, and while they all connect to the beginning, Bereshit, he said that they were for our generation, the one at the end of days. From the simple light shining forth from only two words that we elaborated on, you can see why and see the importance of connecting to it on a daily basis.

Those that keep the sign, אות(means also letter), of the covenant, ברית (word= מילה ) , (also means circumcision), on the eighth day and also keep the Shabbat in its time, which is two thousands Ama (Ama is a measuring unit) in each direction and to four sides equal to eight thousands. The sign of the covenant and the sign of Shabbat are the two Yods form the unification name of upper and lower Y-A-H-D-V-N-H-Y, יא-הד-ונ-הי.
This was explained before that every person found within the two signs and on them it was said, “You shall not take the Mother form the sons..”
If you ask why a person need both signs, and the answer is because the Shechina that is the Yod from אדניADNY can not be here without the Holy One, Bless be He, that is the Yod of YHVH. A man should be careful every day to keep this unification. Weekday with the Tefillin and Shabbat.
Shabbat is the female and the sign of the covenant, which is the male of Zeir Anpin, letter Vav of the name.
The explanation is that before creation, the Endless Light filled up all existence and there was no place to create new. There was no beginning or end. When the creator desired to emanate new emanations and create the worlds, he restricted his light from a middle point, which is Malchut and the energy of judgment revealed itself as a result of this restriction. The light distant itself from this point and a void was made. Inside this void all the worlds were created.
A line from the Endless came down into the void, the vessel, to sustain it. The light in the judgement level is אדני and supernal light is יֿ+ה+ו+ה , The two letter י represent the two aspects of Light that we need to keep connecting with actions that continues the Light. Maintain the connection using spiritual tools and act of sharing, giving in all of their aspects.
On those that don’t keep the connection it said “You shall send away the mother”. They lose the connection to the upper levels and can’t be called sons.
The Hebrew word for swine, as in swine flu, is chazir, which can also mean “it will return,” and if we permute the letters we get Raz Chai or the “secret lives.”
A little while back, we were pointing out that many of the depressing milestones of Dow Jones in the latest crises fell on or the day after major Jewish holidays, and even advised to watch out for what would happen on Purim and Pesach (Passover). Well nothing remarkable happened concerning the markets on those dates, but Purim fell in 3/09/09,or as written in Mexico and the rest of the world, 9/03/09, the day little 5 year old Edgar became the first actual case of the Mexican (swine) flu.
903, as most of you know, is the small gematria value of the 42-Letter Name of G-d, where the antidote is hidden in plain sight.
On this past Pesach, we recounted the 10 plagues and we told to remember the entire story of the exodus after the 210 years in exile in Egypt. We also know from the tzaddikim that the 10 plagues are destined to repeat in the end of days before Moshiach (the Messiah) in order to wake us up as they did our forefathers 66.6 jubilee years ago.
Genesis 2:10 “And a river came forth from Eden to water the garden…”
This is he river that sustains life spiritually and physically. This is from where our blessings flow, and as you can imagine a lot of secrets are hidden here. As the Arizal explains, nearly verbatim, the same letters that spell both ‘delight’ (oneg, ANG) also spell ‘plague’ (nega, NGA) are the initials of the 3 words for’ Eden (ADN)‘, ‘river (Nahar, NHR),’ and ‘garden (Gan, GN).’
He further explains that when delight (oneg, ANG) is of the selfish variety it gets spiritually converted to plagues (nega, NGA). What we need to do is reverse the process. This extends to all areas, but he was specifically talking about cleanliness (physical, mental, and spiritual ) in the course of sexual relations, and because of this, and because the source was water, a mikve of sorts must thus be engaged in the reversal process.
And if you recall from The Genesis Prayer, and also from some of our articles, just such a spiritual mikve (ritual cleansing bath) is found in the very center of the 42-Letter Name (Ana B’koach), at the Resh-Zadi (רצ) combination, where the supernal waters of the Well of Miriam flow. We know of many couples who have used this spiritual (virtual) mikve to conceive righteous children, and others who have used it for ruach hachodesh (divine inspiration), but today we’re concerned with protecting ourselves from the enveloping pandemic that’s quickly blanketing the world, and this Resh-Zadi (רצ) gateway/mikve is only the preparation for the actual tool.

To the true kabbalists the letters are tools to be permuted in the right combinations to unlock myriad gates of wonder. This one found in the heart of the 42-Letter Name is to help us convert plagues into delight by neutralizing them on a spiritual level. And at the heart of the matter, and the source of plagues is zarat Ayin,צרת עינ, jealous eye, also know as evil eye since our jealousy for one another causes evil to befall us and them, and prevents us from loving our neighbor as ourselves which is the key to reaching the tree-of-life reality, the reality beyond limitations that exists once we can perceive the 10sefirot (dimensions).
And we find just this combination of letters sequentially beginning with the Resh-Zadi (רצ)mikve combination.
And oddly enough, the Name of G-d even provides us with clues so we don’t miss it. The word Bat (בט) isconcealed twice within the middle of the 42-Letter Name and the word Bat (בט) in Hebrew means to look, see, regard, or to consider.
And when we “look” what we see immediately following them the letters in zaratבטרצתג, and then right beneath them we have חקבטנע with the subsequent letter yud (י) on the next line giving us all three letters in ayin, thus giving us zarat ayin, “jealousy” delineatedby the two bats (בט).

Thus we have רצתגעני, which very simply permutes into zarat Ayin צרת עינwith the Gimmel (ג) of Gan (garden, גנ) and of Nega (גנע) and Oneg (ענג) right in the middle: .רצתגעני
Therefore, the antidote to help us fight the plague and convert it to delight is to remove jealousy from our hearts, and the tool to help us with that is

And as in the first of the modern plagues, where compassion would have been the antidote to the housing and thus financial crisis, love is the answer here to, as the final letters in the sequence are gimmel-yud (יג), whose numerical value is 13 as in the Hebrew word for Love (ahava), which is also found in the middle of the 1st line of the 42-Letter Name, the line whose full value is 506, that of “unconditional love,” the real answer.

And not coincidentally both those bats (בט) convert to gimmel-yud (יג) when one is added to the cipher. So let’s wake up, use the tools and find it in our hearts to actually love one another and begin to live the tree-of-life reality before it’s too late.
Nevertheless, I held off writing about this until in a dream last night I saw in a straight line, just as it’s actually laid out, the 541 room Capital Building, the Washington Monument (the giant Egyptian Obelisk) and the 2300 foot long Reflecting Pool just beyond it. It dawned on me then that the US Capital was purposefully designed to reflect these aspects of the Exodus from Egypt across the red sea in 2448 HC, to the Promised Land, Israel, whose numerical value is 541, and who is symbolically represented by the Star of David (Magen David), a symmetrical 12-gonal star that is mathematical comprised of 541 points.
