The Hidden Columns of The Torah

I know we were going to discuss Jacob’s prophetic vision, but while perusing a Mashiach blog, a pearl about Jacob’s family entering Egypt and Tehilim (Psalms) that enticed me to look closer at the first verse from the VaYigash paragraphs we had just been studying in their connection to the Israelite soul root and to the chariot from Ezekiel‘s prophetic vision:

Bereshit (Genesis) 46:8

ואלה שמות בני ישראל הבאים מצרימה  “And these are the names of the sons of Israel who are coming into Egypt…”

It just so happens that the 6 initials of this phrase, the phrase that initiates the exile in Egypt (Goshen) and the beginning of the fulfillment of G-d’s Covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are the very same letters that appear at the head of the 6 of the 248 columns of the Torah that are not the letter Vav (V):


In other words, of the 248 columns of the Torah, all but six (6) columns begin with the level Vav(V), itself of numerical value 6, representing the standard level of the Torah, Zeir Anpin.  These special 6 letters, beginning with the first letter of the Torah, the Bet(B) of Bereshit,  are our connection to the higher sefira (dimension) of Binah (Understanding).

According to chazal, they spell out the phrase, B’YH ShMV, “In the Name of G-d (YH) and they have the numerical value of 363, that of H’Moshiach (The Messiah), and also of “Moses Lives (Moshe Chai)”.

Then, oddly enough, the exact phrase is repeated again in the first verse of Shmot (Exodus) 1:1. And since the letter Vav(V) is the one distinguished by these two very special phrases, it’s notable that there are 778 Vavs in the Torah separating the two verses (from Genesis 46:8- Exodus 1:1).

It’s notable because H’Moshiach is supposed to arrival, according to the tzaddikim in the year 5778, which is 222 years before the 6th millennium. And those 778 Vavs have a total value of 4668, which is 1110 or 10 x 111 (the numerical value of the first letter Alef), less than 5778.

As explained in prior articles, Alef is representative of the Tree-of-life and whenever any Torah numbers are in multiples of 10, it’s also a reference to the 10 sefirot (dimensions) of the Tree-of-life.

So obviously this phrase is very telling. It’s the beginning of the Israelite Journey. And like all Torah journeys, it’s connected to the 42-Letter Name of G-d.

So it’s not surprising that the first word of this key phrase has the numerical value 42 and that the second word is Shmot (Names), as in the 42-Letter Name of G-d, the understanding of which chazal has said will be what brings about H’Mashiach and the geula (Final redemption), or the end of days as some like to call it.  We prefer to think of it as a new beginning, the time when the 10 Sefirot (dimensions) of the Tree-of-Life become a reality for us.

And just in case we were to doubt that these two identical verses aren’t supposed to be linked together, we should note that the total gematria of both phrases together with their ordinal values is 4240 or 10 times 424, the numerical value of Mashiach Ben David.

But there’s more to these verses than just setting our course for receiving Moshiach Ben David in 5778.  The Torah’s depth and technology is infinite and the deeper we probe, the more we align ourselves with the Tree-of-life reality.

Bereshit 46:8 continues: “And these are the names of the sons of Israel who are coming into Egypt: Jacob and his sons. Reuben was Jacob’s first born.”

Simple enough, except that the Torah slipped in the word first-born (Becor, BCR) except that BRC is the root of merkava, MRCBH, which as we’ve discussed (VaYigash) is both the chariot that Joseph harassed to meet his father and complete the Tree-of-life and the one Ezekiel saw in his famous prophetic vision. We’ll explain, or rather let the Arizal explain this in a moment, but first we want to draw the parallel, to occurrence 54 paragraphs later, of the 10th plague, the killing of the first born.

This is far from coincidental as there are 54 letters in both the phrases cited above and because as we know 54 x 107 = 5778, which is not an arbitrary equation because all the integers through 107 also = 5778.

Moreover, the Torah immediately goes on to tell us that “Reuben sons were Chanoch..,” as in the 7th Man in the lineage of Adam, Chanoch(Enoch), who chazal has explained became the archangel Metatron, the angel in Ezekiel’s vision.

In our next post, we’ll be further discussing the word (root) BCR (Becor) and it’s important connection to Jacob’s prophecies and his lap (knees), BRCY, and also to the root of all blessing, BRC, as in Baruch (BRVC), etc, but right now, let’s see what the Arizal has to say about the killing of the first born of Egypt and the final plague:

“The initials of these three sefirotketer, reishit chochma, bina – spell the word for “firstborn” [in Hebrew, “bechorBCR]. This is similar to what is explained in the Zohar (Tikunei Zohar 70, pg.119b) regarding the word for “blessed” [in Hebrew, “baruch“] and the name of the River Kevar.”

The Ari is saying that these three letters (energy sources) when taken together connect to the top 3 sefirot: Keter, Chochma, and Binah.

He continues, “Chochma is referred to as “reishit chochma” (“the beginning of wisdom”) based on Psalms 111:10: “The beginning of wisdom is the fear of G-d.” Also, chochma is the first conscious sefira, and is therefore known as “the beginning”.

Please note that Wisdom is connected to 111:10 and as we saw earlier these two verses were also connected to 111 x 10. This is Wisdom, not coincidence. And likewise the Ari is connecting Chochma (numerical value 73) with reishit, the beginning, partially because the numerical value of the Torah’s 1st verse is equivalent to all the integers through 73.

And if you don’t think these 2 verses, including the very first verse of Shmot (Exodus) don’t hark back to the seed of the Torah–it’s very first word, please take note that the 6 letters word Bereshit (“In the Beginning”) itself (BREShYT) are found in each of the 6 words of these prophetic phrases.

Now we can understand why the equation alluded to by the phrase above  6000 -222 = 5778 is significant, because 222 is the numerical value not only of 2 x 111 (alef) but of BCR, the root of all blessing and the chariot that will take us there.

In Exodus 1:1 “And these are the names of the sons of Israel who are coming into Egypt…” the word used is Haba’im, meaning literally”the ones coming.” The first time the Torah dictated this phrase it made sense, but the second time it did not, since they were already in Egypt, which means the Torah must have been alluding to the future exile, which in turn means it was written for us, so that we could deal with the exile, and know our time to exodus from it.  The gates are opening.

Just to be thorough, we’d like to point out that the simple numerical value of both phrases together including the kolel for the the 27 identical letters is 3695 and the simple numerical value of the rest of that first verse (Genesis 46:8) is 2083, so combined they equal 3695+2083 = 5778.

“Joseph harnessed his chariot and went up to meet his father Israel in Goshen.” (Gen. 46:29)

From the Zohar Rabbi Yitzchak began his discourse, citing the verse “There was a likeness of an expanse above the heads of the Chaya, like the color of the awesome ice, spread out above their heads from above” (Ezekiel 1:22).”

The numerical value of Chayot, the animating forces, of the Chariot is 424, so the 2 phrase that sum to 4240, or 10 x 424, take us deeper into the vision of Ezekiel and closer to the Tree-of-life.

The secrets are all in the letters; the path is through the letters.  Th numbers help guide us, but the 27 Hebrew letters are the key. Let wisdom be our guide.

The Divine Metaphor; Nuclear Fusion and the Bible.

The Zohar tells us 600,000 angels accompanied the 70 Israelites (Jacob’s family) into Egypt, and in our last article (on parsha VaYigash) we also learned from the Zohar that the chariot Joseph harnessed and rode to greet his father was of angelic (divine) origin, the same one that appeared in Ezekiel’s famous vision. In a few weeks (17 chapters or 50 paragraphs, from now), we’ll read in the Torah (parsha BeShalach) how Pharaoh sent 600 chariots chasing after the 600,000 Israelites, who had just used the 70 Angels (Triplets, Names) to split and cross the Sea of Reeds.

Let’s take a moment to examine all that.

We know that 17 is the numerical value of Tov (good) and always implies this when designated specifically in the Torah, such as Joseph’s age when he was sold by his brothers and such as the 17 good years Jacob lived in Egypt (Goshen). We also know that 50, or an interval of 50, always refers to the 50 Gates of Binah and in turn to the 50-year jubilee period.

So it can be easily inferred that this period from the entrance of Jacob and his 70 family members with their 600,000 escorting angles to their 600,000 descendants exit 210 years later was a good thing and that it relates to Binah and the jubilee counting system. And indeed, we know from the Zohar that they did overcome the negativity of Egypt and reach the 50th Gate of Binah at Mt Sinai, 210 years later. Moreover, those 210 years were exactly 4.2 jubilee years, a reference to the al-important 42-Letter Name of G-d.

This is very important to the understanding of why the Israelites were in Egypt, why we’re still in exile, and when we’re coming out of exile.

Let us note further that exactly 44 jubilee years passed from Adam to Joseph’s birth (2200 years) and the first and essence of the 10 Plagues was in Hebrew dam (DM), meaning blood, of numerical value 44, like the blood Joseph’s brothers spread on his coat that they showed Jacob.

Nevertheless, according to the Zohar, the Israelites were in Egypt for one main purpose, to recuperate the holy sparks scattered there at the shattering of the 10 disconnected vessels (sefirot/dimensions) that existed prior to the Creation of the Tree-of-life.  And so as the expanded from 70 to 600,000 they physically absorbed those sparks 600,000 and the 70 angles. Meanwhile, the 600,000 protecting angels went from 8571.428 angels per Israelite to 1, and the Sea of Reeds was in front of them and Pharaoh’s 600 chariots behind them.

In order to overcome their situation, the Israelites were forced to band together, unify, conjoin their 600,000 angels and concentrate their energy through the 70 Names.  Theses 70 Names are also called today the 72 Names, as they are comprised of the 216 letters derived from the 3 consecutive 72-letter verses in BeShalach, but of the 72 Triplets there are only 70 unique Names as emphasized by the Zohar and as we can see for ourselves.

There is to this day still only 600,000 Israelite soul roots that originated from the 70 family members, the 12 sons of Jacob, the 3 Patriarchs and Adam, and we may have to reunite once again to end this exile as our ancestors did in the first. After all, it took Ester, Morchachai and Ezra to unite our ancestors trapped in Babylon to end their 70 years of exile as well.  It stands to reason, unity amongst our souls is key.

Let’s set that aside for the moment and take a closer look at those 70 Israelites. Interestingly enough, there are an awful lot of 7’s in this story. Jacob “began his journey” by leaving Beer Sheba, the 7th Well.  He then worked 7 years for Leah, 7 years for Rachel, and 7 years for himself. Then there was Pharaoh’s dream of 7 cows emerging from the reeds, 7 more emaciated cows, 7 ears of corn, 7 more shriveled ears of corn, which were translated by Joseph to 7 good years and 7 fallow years. Jacob worked 7 years for Leah, 7 years for Rachel, and 7 years for himself.

Then on the way to Goshen, Jacob, now called Israel, “began his journey” and stopped back at Beer Sheba, the 7th Well, where God spoke to him in a night vision, very similar to the prior time when he had just left Beer Sheba and had his famous vision of the angels racing up and down the ladder. When G-d reiterates his Covenant with Jacob that He had made with Abraham and Isaac, the Torah tells us Jacob set out from Beer Sheba, “the 7th well”.

Next the Torah describes the make-up of the 70 family members and we find out that 7 are directly from Rachel, 14 from Rachel’s handmaiden, making 21 indirectly from Rachel in total, or 3 times 7. And the other 49 family members were from Leah and her handmaiden (33 and 16 respectively), or 7 times 7. We have 1 x 7 + 2 x 7 + 7 x 7 = 70.

Yup! That’s a lot of 7’s. Could it be possible that the life and journey of Jacob was about establishing Zeir Anpin, the trunk of the tree-of-Life, comprised of the 7 lower sefirot (dimensions) and their 10 sub-dimensions each, or 70? Even the 16 offspring from Leah’s handmaiden corresponded to the 16 times Beer-Sheba (the 7th Well) is mentioned in the Torah and their 49 members are almost split in a 70/30 ratio.

Nevertheless, when we apply the ration 8571.428 angels per family member, it works out to exactly 180,000 angels for Rachel’s camp and 420,000 for Leah’s camp, very interesting round numbers, especially considering that the square root of 180,000 angels is 424.26, with 424 being the numerical value if Moshiach Ben David and 26 of the Tetragrammaton (26).

Nevertheless, back to the 8571.428 angels/person. If those angels were assigned to guard the 12 directions, as explained by the Zohar (think of the edges of a cube), and each of those groups (714.28 angels) were to be split up to guard the right, left, and central columns of their particular direction, then there would be 238.095… per group. Yet another interesting number, considering that 238 is the numerical value of Rachel, and also that 1/42 = .0238095.

And yes, 238.095… is also the atomic weight of Uranium238.

Moreover, the Atomic number of Uranium238 is 92 because it has 92 Protons in its’ nucleus and also 92 electrons circling it. Since Joseph was born in 2200 HC, Jacob was 92 at his birth. And of course, the numerical value of Rachel, his beloved, and Joseph’s mother is 238.

Smelling something fishy? What about the fact that 2200 HC is the year 1560 BCE in the Gregorian calendar and the numerical value of Joseph is 156. Is this all a big Divine metaphor?

So what’s the power here? Nuclear? Nuclear Fusion? Is that the power behind the conjoining of our souls.

Mathematically, what went on here? Following the instructions of the Arizal, we simply took 600,000 and divided it by 70 and then again by 12 and again by 3, mimicking the soul route of the Israelites from Adam to the 3 Patriarchs to the 12 sons (tribes) to the 70 family members, or 600,000/2520. And what is 2520, but the year of the Exodus and revelation at Sinai, 2448, plus 72, as in the 72 Triplets (Names that were utilized to effect the final fusion.

(2448 +72) = 2520


600,000/(2448 + 72) = 238.095 = Uranium238.

So why was Joseph’s family split into Rachel’s camp of 21 and Leah’s camp of 49? It’s because 21/49 = 3/7 = .428 and that forms the relationship of the upper 3 sefirot (dimensions) with the lower 7 sefirot. In other words, it mimics the Tree-of-Life and it was planned that the Israelites would spread along the branches of that tree.  kabbalistically, Leah is always representative of he upper levels, and Rachel of the lower ones, Malchut, but this is not what the Torah is showing us here.  Except that the Zohar confirms that Leah’s children are the real malchut, while Joseph was of Yesod of the upper worlds.

The Land of Moshiach (the Messiah).

In parsha Vayigash, 46:28 it says [Jacob] sent Judah ahead of him to make preparations in Goshen (Goshnah).” Goshen (Goshnah) has the same 4 letters as the Chanukah dreidel, and likewise they add up to 358, the numerical value of Moshiach, the Messiah. This is the area within Egypt (or really outside it) that Joseph arranged for his family and the Israelites to live in exile. The name Goshen (גֹּשְׁנָה Goshnah) is only found twice in the Torah and hints at the two Mashiachs, Mashiach Ben Yosef and Mashiach Ben David, connected to Joseph and Judah respectively. By Joseph reuniting with Jacob, the spirit of Mashiach was restored, and the flow of mazal through Joseph could go to the Israelites, instead of the Egyptians who had been the previous beneficiaries.

The Torah is also telling us that the spirit of Mashiach can be anywhere, even in the darkness of Egypt if we stay connected to the source of the Light, which is a message we need to hear now, more than ever. Nevertheless, with Goshen(גֹּשְׁנָה GShNH), the Torah is also spelling out the travels of the Mishkan (the Tabernacle) and the Ark of the Covenant, whose final home was prepared by King David in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem: G for Givon; Sh for Shilo; and N for Nov.

While, it could be said that 3 letters of the Goshen(גֹּשְׁנָ GShN) adequately represent the 3 locations of the Mishkan, but the H of Goshna (GShNH) could stand for the 5 Books of Moses, since the 4th stop of the Ark of the Covenant was with King David in Jerusalem and King David was born 616 years after Jacob and his family moved to Goshen, and 616 is the numerical value of “H’Torah (the Torah).”

The name Goshen (גֹּשְׁנָה Goshnah) really translates to “toward Goshen” as the Torah is pointing us toward Mashiach. And the dreidel only spells out numerically Mashiach (גֹּשְׁנָה) outside of Israel. Inside Israel the letter Pe, for Po, here, is substituted for the Shin, just as Goshen is also outside Israel, in the land of exile.

The second instance Goshen is spelled (גֹּשְׁנָה Goshnah) is in the mystically important verse Bereshit 46:29 “Joseph harnessed his chariot and he went to greet his father in Goshen.” According to the Zohar, the word for chariot used here is merkava, as in the the chariot, or vehicle of divine revelation, described in Ezekiel’s famous prophetic vision (Ezekiel 1).

The Zohar goes on to explain that what Joseph harnessed was the various levels of his soul and he thus ascended to the level of Zeir Anpin of Atzilut (the highest level) and communed  with the Divine Presence, referred to in the verse as his father, Israel.” In Ezekiel’s vision, He was referred to as “the likeness of a man.”

Obviously, Goshen was a very special place, where the Israelite population would explode from 70 to 600,000 in preparation for the reception of the Torah and the Tree-of-Life and the fulfillment of the Covenant of Abraham (the Covenant of Halves) as God reiterated to Jacob earlier in the portion (Vayigash). With the kolel of 1 the initials of the verse total 107, and as we know, the sum of the integers through 107 is 5778, the year (2018 ce) Rav Ashalag and the tzaddikim prophesied for the final redemption (geula) and Moshiach.

We know the tie in to Moshiach is beyond dispute, but as for the intent to point to 5778 (2018 ce) we need further proof. Mirroring the ascention of Joseph to meet the Divine presence in the first verse of this chapter, “God spoke to Jacob in a night vision and said, “Jacob Jacob.” While the gematria of these double words less the kolel of 1 is 363 that of “H’Mashiach (The Messiah),” what these double words do is connect with the other set of double words, earlier in the portion at Bereshit 44:28: Tarof Toraf (TtRP TtRP).

And the secret of these double words is that they add up to 2018 in gematria sofit or 578 in simple gematria. Now, as regarding the mysterious double words, the Covenant of Halves, and the connection to King David mentioned earlier, half of period from Adam to Moshiach in 5778 is 2889, which is exactly midway through the 70 year life of King David.

Metatron in the Beginning and in the End of Days.

Metatron in the Beginning and in the End

Out next Chanukah revelation concerns the archangel Metatron (MTTRVN) of numerical value 314. The sages, tzaddikim and Zohar all tell us he was originally Enoch (ChNVC), the 7th in the lineage of Adam.

Zohar 43. Balak : 6.

Verse 86. “Enoch, who is Metatron,”

We can see from the following verses in the Torah that it was never stated that Enoch dies, only that he walked with God and was taken.

Genesis 5:23-24 “All of Enoch’s days were 365 years. Enoch walked with God, and was no more, because God had taken him.

These Zohar excerpts give it more color and speak of all the secrets that were revealed to Enoch and that subsequently were guarded by Mettatron and then revealed on a need-to-know basis.

Zohar Bereshit 51 474. “We have also been told that Chanoch had a book, which originated from the same place as that of the generations of Adam. And this book contains the inner secrets of wisdom. He was taken from this earth to become a heavenly angel. Thus, it is written: ‘And he was not; for Elohim took him’ (Beresheet 5:24). He is the youth, THAT IS, HE IS ALWAYS CALLED A YOUTH, as the verse states: ‘Train up (Heb. chanoch) a child in the way he should go’ (Mishlei 22:6), INDICATING THAT CHANOCH IS THE YOUTH BECAUSE HE BECAME MINISTERING LAD TO THE SHECHINAH.

475. All the supernal secrets were delivered into his hands and he, in turn, delivered them to those who merited them. Thus, he performed the mission THAT THE HOLY ONE, BLESSED BE HE, ASSIGNED TO HIM. One thousand keys were delivered into his hands and he takes one hundred blessings every day and creates unifications for his Master. The Holy One, blessed be He, took him from this world so that he would serve him above. The text refers to this when it reads: ‘And he was not; for Elohim took him.’

476. Since it was given to him, it is called the book of Chanoch. When the Holy One, blessed be He, took him, He showed him all the supernal mysteries, including the mystery of the Tree of Life, with its leaves and branches in the middle of the garden. We find all those secrets in his book, ALL THAT ELOHIM SHOWED HIM WHEN HE TOOK HIM TO HEAVEN. Happy are those of exalted piety to whom the supernal wisdom has been revealed and from whom it will never be forgotten, as it is written: ‘The secret of Hashem is with them that fear him; and he will reveal to them his covenant’ (Tehilim 25:14).”

As we’ll get into in a moment, it is no coincidence that Enoch was the 7th in the line of Adam, or that he lived 365 years, with 365 being universally agreed as a reference to the solar year.

So who is Metatron?

Zohar 49. Ki Tetze : 28: 138. “It is so THAT METATRON IS SHADAI when the Holy One, blessed be He, descends TO BRIYAH to rule over the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, good being Metatron and evil Samael, who is a devil, the king of demons. Metatron is an angel, the king of angels, but from the aspect of the Tree of Life the name Shadai is Yesod OF ATZILUT..” [the gateway to the uppermost world].

Shadai is the name of G-d (ShDY) found on all Mezuzot which the Jews place on their doorposts. It has the same numerical value as Metatron, 314, as guardian of the gates.

We’ll reinforce the connection from the Zohar linking Enoch (Metatron) as governor ,if you will, of the 7 sefirot (Zeir Anpin/Malchut) and particularly as guardian of the entrance way through Yesod, but for an understanding of the deepest hidden secrets we need to turn to the Tikkune Zohar, chapter 22 of the 70 chapters revealing the 70 faces of Creation.

It’s in the Tikkunei Zohar that we learn that the 6 letters of the Name Metatron (MTtTtRVN) should be expanded into a matrix of 42, similar to the 42-Letter Name of God (Ana B’koach).  In this case, the matrix would be comprised of the name Metatron (MTtTtRVN) and then the name stretched out over the subsequent 6 dimensions, something like this:

In The Genesis Prayer and Nothing is Random in the Universe we discuss in great depth the secrets of 42, Pi (314) and their connection to the Torah’s first verse and also the revelations of the advent of Moshiach in 5778, so we won’t go into it again here, other than to point out again that the number 9/(42-letter Name) = exactly 70 + 3.14159..(Pi).

What we do want to reveal is that while the name Metatron has the numerical value of 314, this 42 letter name of Metatron has a total numerical value of 2198, or 7 x 314.

And why is this significant?

It’s not just because 314+ 42 = 358, the numerical value of Mashiach, of that the Torah has exactly 358 phrases of the numerical value 314, indelibly connecting Moshiach with Metatron, but because there are precisely 2198 letter Zayin(s) in the Torah and the numerical value of Zayin is 7.

Speaking of 7, Zohar Bereshit 1:4. tells us why 7 is so important: “There are seven sacred chambers and seven levels above, which are the secrets of supernal faith, NAMELY BINAH. And there are seven chambers below, IN MALCHUT, similar to those above, IN BINAH. Six of these chambers are just as they are above, CORRESPONDING TO THE SIX SFIROT OF ZEIR ANPIN, but one CHAMBER, CORRESPONDING TO BINAH, IS hidden and concealed.”

Keep in mind that this hidden chamber corresponds to the 7th millennium and the time of Moshiach when Binah Chamber will be open to us.

And at the end of the description of the 7 chambers, the Zohar (Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai) has this further to say about the 7th:

Zohar Bereshit B 19:53. “The same can be found in the seven compartments of the lower land, which are all similar to the SEVEN COMPARTMENTS of the world above. And in all OF THE SEVEN COMPARTMENTS BELOW, there are ANGELS in the shape of humans,…” Not, just Metatron, but we’ll be writing about this shortly as well: how the angels have intervened at key points to keep us on track.

Let’s recap:

A) Enoch was the 7th in the line of Adam: of which Noach was the 10th, an allusion to the completion of 10 sefirot/dimensions; Abraham was the 20th, an allusion to Keter (Esrim, 20); and Moses was the 26th, an allusion to the YHVH (26); so obviously placement is important and not random..

B) Enoch became Metatron of numerical value 314, and thus connected to Pi, which makes a line into a circle, which we know from Rav Ashlag’s work on the 10 Luminous Emanations is how the light enters and fills our universe.

C) Metatron controls the 7 dimensions and gates from our would to the upper ones.  We also know from Abraham, the Patriach in his Sefer Yetzirah, that there are 22 building blocks of the universe, namely the 22 Hebrew letters, 7 of which are called doubles and 7 of which connect us to the 7 planets, and that 22/7 = 3.14..

D) We know that both 314 and 42 are connected together to each other and that they connect us to Creation and that the 42-Letter Name, is like Metatron, our bridge between our world and the upper ones, namely Binah.

E) We know that 314 and 42, and thus Metatron are connected to Moshiach, 358.

F) We know that the name Metatron(MTtTtRVN) expands into 42 letters totaling 2198 or 314 x 7, and that there are 2198 letter Zayin(s) in the Torah and the numerical value of Zayin is 7, meaning the entire Torah was written (conceived) with Metatron in mind, and that there is probably a deeper hidden meaning to 2198 as well, behind the total gematria of the Torah letters being 21009826.

G) Enoch’s (Metatron’s physical) life is connected to 365 years or days as in year, there may be a connection to the end-of-day and the advent of Moshiach that he is obviously connected with. Incidentally, 365 is 7 more than 358, an important point not to be overlooked.

H) If 2198 were a year, it would be 2198 CE, or 5958, 42 years shy of the year 6000 HC, and the 7th millennium. Therefore since the 42 letter of Metatron including the kolel are 2198 + 42 = 2240, they are also equivalent to the year 6000 HC.

So why are there 2 dates, 5778 and 6000 for the advent of Moshiach?

Why indeed? The period between the two prophesied dates is 222 years? So let’s go back to the Zohar and see why there are two dates and why they are 222 years apart. We’ll give you another explanation gleaned from the Torah portion Miketz later in the week.

21. Trumah : 56. Verse 598. If you ask: Metatron serves in the Tabernacle above AND NOT MICHAEL? HE ANSWERS: The tabernacle is of Metatron and Michael the High Priest is the one who serves in the Tabernacle of Metatron, as the High Priest serves above in another Tabernacle that is concealed and not revealed, which is the secret of the World to Come, WHICH IS BINAH. There are two tabernacles. One is concealed, BINAH, and one is the Tabernacle of Metatron. There are two priests, MEANING THE ATTRIBUTES OF CHESED THAT IS CALLED ‘PRIEST’. One is the primordial light, NAMELY CHESED OF ZEIR ANPIN, and one is Michael, the High Priest below.

We know there are 2 Moshiachs (Bed David and Ben Joseph) so we understand that there are 2 Tabernacles to be reveled,  one through Metatron in the year 6000 HC, as has been discussed, and the other through Michael, Archangel and protector of Israel, which according to prophecy will be in 5778, 70 years after Israel became a nation.

Therefore 6000 years will be the full length of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

As for the 222 year differential we must first look to the name of the beast.

Zohar 42. Chukat : 5:29.” AFTER ZEIR ANPIN AND MALCHUT DRINK, ‘they give to drink to every wild beast’ that which is written: ‘and from thence it was parted, and branched into four streams (lit. ‘heads’)’ (Beresheet 2:10). These four heads are ‘every wild (lit. ‘field’, Heb. sadai) beast,’… which is METATRON that receives and perfects IN HIMSELF the Name from Yesod, the Foundation of the world. This is SINCE THE NAME SHADAI IS IN YESOD OF ZEIR ANPIN, AND METATRON, BEING A CHARIOT TO YESOD OF ZEIR ANPIN, RECEIVES THIS NAME.”

Keep in mind that the Torah counts the time to the final redemption in jubilee years (50-year interval) and there are exactly 66.6 jubilee years from the reception of the 10 Commandments at Mt Sinai, until 5778 and 70.2 jubilee years from that date (2448) until 2198 CE. 702 is the gematria value of Shabbat, the 7th day, which is what the period of the final redemption is called.

So what about the 222 years?

In  Zohar 44. Pinchas : 45. “The Chariot of EzekielVerse 248. “When Ezekiel saw the Shechinah among the Klipot, THAT IS TO SAY, AMONG THE GARMENTS, he saw with her ten Sfirot, without any separation whatsoever, and these are the brain that is among all of them. He saw them within the earthly river K’var (Caf Bet Resh) [222], NAMELY, THE EARTHLY CHARIOT (RESH CAF BET) [222], NAMELY, THE LETTERS OF K’VAR REARRANGED) OF METATRON.

So Metatron is the Chariot, as previously defined in the Zohar, and the value of chariot is 222, meaning Metatron will rule over the earthly plain another 222 years past the time of Moshiach Ben David in 5778.

The same Zohar portion continues as it reveals yet another equation about Metatron and the end-of-days, “That is, ‘The Chariots of Elohim are twice ten thousand, thousands upon (Heb. Shin’an) thousands’ (Tehilim 68:18). ‘twice ten thousand’ are twenty thousand. From this you should deduct two that are missing, AS SHIN’AN IS SPELLED THE SAME AS ‘SHE’EINAN’ (MISSING). ‘(SHIN’AN) THOUSANDS’ ARE THE MISSING TWO THOUSANDS. Eighteen thousand remain, which is as the number of the eighteen (Chet Yud) worlds. THIS IS YESOD, WHICH IS CALLED ‘CHAI’ (LIT. ‘LIVE’ – CHET YUD,), which includes the ten Sfirot, attired in the Tet Tet (nine + nine = eighteen) of Metatron (Mem Tet Tet Resh Vav Nun). And this Tet Tet is taken from the word totafot (lit. ‘frontlets’), about which it is said: ‘and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes’ (Devarim 6:8). Who are the eyes? They are those above, about which it is said: ‘the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of Elohim’ (Yechezkel 1:1). These are the ten visions of Metatron, whom Ezekiel saw as a candle within a lantern, nine OF THE VISIONS being clear, with one being vague.”

Take the 2000, (SHIN’AN THOUSANDS” ARE THE MISSING TWO THOUSANDS), then add the “attired in the Tet Tet (nine + nine = eighteen),” 18, and we get 2018. Then take the 2018 and add the NAMELY, THE EARTHLY CHARIOT (RESH CAF BET), the Chariots of Elohim, 222, and we get 2240, the year 6000 HC.

This date of 6000 HC is very significant as will be revealed in our next installment of Chanukah revelations about the 2 dates for the windows of the Tree-of-Life consciousness.  Obviously whether you work towards Moshiach in 7 years time or in 229 years makes a big difference.
