What’s the Secret Behind the Torah’s Numbers and Bible’s Divine Timeline? Logarithms.

There is a saying that you find what you look for? Such as the number 42, as in the 42-Letter Name of G-d. I see it in news reports everywhere and it keeps coming up for me. This could be because I’m hyper-sensitive to that number having written a book about that particular Name (The Genesis Prayer), or that I’m sending out energetic inquiries about it into the universe, or the collective consciousness as some would call it, or as some scientists would speculate, that I’m filtering out all else. Maybe it’s a little of everything.

Another example is my conviction in the date 5778 (2018 CE) because that was the date given by the tzaddikim for the geula, final redemption.  Again, I’ve written books about it and have found extensive proof of it within the context of the Torah and modern mathematics and physics, but then some skeptics would say that I would have done the same with the year 6329 or 2012 (though, I never found much to collaborate the end-of-the world thesis based on the Mayan calendar) had those been given to me.

So let’s take some of the key historic Biblical calendar dates, as The Divine Calendarillustrated in The Divine Calendar, such as 3760(0 ce), the pivotal beginning of the Gregorian (Western/Christian calendar);  -422 BCE (3338 HC), the fall of the First Holy Temple; 3830 (70 CE), the fall of the Second Holy Temple; and 5778 (2018 ce), the date prophesied for the manifestation of the tree-of-life reality, with its mirror date of 2018 HC, when G-d made His Covenant with Abraham, promising that final redemption.

Given those dates, and that the Exodus from Egypt and 10 Commandments were received in 2448 HC, exactly 66.6 jubilee years before 5778, how would the skeptics explain that the logarithm of the number of Israelites that received those 10 Commandments, (600,000 as per the Torah) is exactly 5.778151.

The number 151 is the numerical value of the Name of God, Ehyeh, the “I am” in the “I am that I am,” but that’s besides the point.

That said, how would they further explain that the logarithm of the year 5760 (2000 ce) is 3.760422, which is exactly 2000 years earlier (5760-3760 = 2000). As explained in The Divine Calendar , this special date of 3760 HC is what makes the two calendars so symmetrical with even Abraham’s birth in 1948 HC coinciding with Israel’s birth in 1948 CE, and if you recall, 3760 – 422 = 3338, the date of the destruction of the First Holy Temple.

And while they’re explaining that away as coincidence, let them tell you how the square root of 3338 being 57.78 is also meaningless.  And perhaps had they had computers and advanced mathematics 3330 years ago, maybe it would be meaningless, but would they also have known that the surface temperature of the Sun was also exactly 5778 K?

Of course, years are nothing more that the earth’s trips 365-day trips around the Sun, matching the 365 positive mitzvot (precepts)  in the Torah and the sum of all the integer logs through 365 is 778.39.

And as for the date of the destruction of the Second Holy Temple, 3830 HC, the logarithm of 3830 is 3.5832 with the 358 being the gematria (numerical value) of Moshiach (messiah), which may or may not mean anything, but we thought we’d throw it out there.

Nevertheless, we do have a clue that the Torah did indeed take logarithms in consideration of its creation, because the logarithm of the numerical value (913) of the first word (Bereshit, “In the Beginning”) of the first verse of the Torah is 2.960 and the numerical value of the last word (H’aretz, earth) of that verse is 296.

And speaking of verses, there are 5845 of them in the Torah and the sum of the logs of all the integers though 5845 is 19480.68… and 5845/1948 is nearly exactly 3.000.

It was the kabbalists, who first wrote about the 10 dimensions of the universe, the 10 sefirot of the Tree-of-life thousands of years ago, and today most physicists agree.  So it’s only natural that the logarithmic scale is designed into the Torah and the Divine calendar as with most of our mathematics today, they are all based on a base-10 system.

Here’s a tip of the hat to those 2012 doomsayers, just so they don’t say we’re too fixated on 5778 (2018). The height of the Great Pyramid in Egypt is 5775 inches and the sum of all the integer logarithms through 2012 is 5775.15. Yet either way, the sum of the logs of the 3 integers for the 3 inches from 5775 to 5778 is .778151 or the log of 6 for the 6 years from 2012 to 2018 is .778151, so there you have it.

Everyone can choose to fixate on whatever they want, but if fixating on the tree-of-life reality and the coming of Moshiach consciousness will draw that into your life, its a worthwhile pursuit whenever it occurs, B’H soon.

We’ll begin shortly a series of articles that will posit differing scenarios of what it could be like to awaken from this world of illusions that we’re currently trapped in and see reality for what it truly is.

Time, Times, and half a Time.

There is a Biblical mystery that has intrigued man for over 2000 years, and another deeper mystery that has perplexed him even longer. The first is what Daniel meant by “Time, times, and half a time,” in his revelations about the end of days. And the second is what is Time?

The mysterious verse in Daniel 12:7 connected to the end of days, “Time, times, and half a time,” is connected to the verse Genesis 23:1 from Chayeh Sarah, whose connection to the end of days has already been discussed in depth in our post Sarah Lives, and Who else? where we are told that Sarah lived for 127 years.

Besides the obvious 127 connection, in the Chayeh Sarah verse we also have the curious wording Shanah, shanah, Shan’im or year, year, and years, similar in structure to Time, times, and half a time, especially since Shanah can be regarded as time as well.

But to better understand this, we need to go to a place before time, where the primordial letter alef exists before the physical universe took shape. In that place/empty space before Creation and before the Torah the 3 Mother came into existence. But first among them was the alef.

Alef typically has the numerical value of 1 and is spelled, ELP, which has the numerical value of 111. But ELP can also be the word elef, or one thousand (1000). Now, if we substitute, as the Arizal did, the value 1000 for the value 1, the value of alef spelled out become 1110, which is 10 x 111, or Alef expanded to cover all 10 sefira/dimensions.

But what is odd, is that Shanah, shanah, Shan’im also has the numerical value of 1110, and thus is spiritually connected to primordial time, to the beginning before Creation.

There are many different gematria bible code ciphers the Ari used, but another extremely common one is to use the sofit, or 5 final letter values in the words that have these final letters. And when we do, the expanded Alef (ELP) from becomes 1000 + 30 + 800 = 1830. And when we add the 3 for the kolel of the 3 letters, we get 1833, which is the value of the first 21 letters of the Shem mem-bet, the 42-Letter Name through the midpoint in the 42 letters, and at the location of the secret fountain/well of living waters that we’ve discussed in other posts. And likewise previously discussed it’s in the center of where the Brit (covenant) of Mashiach is spelled out.

But speaking of 42, it is the value of IMA, Mother, spelled EME, which the kabbalists tells us is really referring to the energy level/Sefira/dimension called Binah. And when we use both versions of the expanded alef, IMA, spelled EME, has the value of 1830 + 640 + 1110 = 3580, or 10 x 358, the value of Mashiach, the Messiah in all 10 sefirot/dimensions.

The word Emet, truth, is graphically synonymous with the 42-Letter Name of G-d in that the words emet (EMT) has the numerical value of 441, which is 21 squared and we know from chazal, that Emet represents the two Ehyeh’s (EHYH) each of value 21, combined in the Name, “Eyheh Asher Ehyeh” (I Am that I Am), the source of the lower 42-Letter Name.

Moreover, just like the word Emet (EMT) the first letter of the 42-Letter Name (Ana B’koach) is Alef (E) and the last is Tav (T) and there are 40 (M) letters in between.

And when we spell out Emet (EMT) using the expanded Alef and add 8 for the kolel of the 8 letters, we get 1830 + 640 + 412 +8 = 2890, which when we double it for the two emets (truths) less the kolel of 2 for doubling, we get (2890 x 2) – 2 = 5778, the year prophesy says Mashiach will come.

What about Time x Times + half a Time?:

21squared + 21 squared + 21 = (21×21) + (21×21) + 21 = 903, which is the sum of all the integers from 1 – 42, in other words, the spiritually complete 42.

So Ehyeh = Half a Time

and (Half a Time + Half a Time) = 42-Letter Name

and (Half a Time X Half a Time) = Emet

and Emet = 42-Letter Name

So Emet = Time and thus

Truth = Time in the spiritual word = the 42-Letter Name

and also, spiritually, addition (+) is similar to multiplication (X)

and (Time x Times + Half a Time) = the spiritually complete 42

Now, the 21squared in Emet is (Ehyeh x Ehyeh) or (EHYH X EHYH) and when we use the spelled out version of Ehyeh, we get ELP HY YVD HY which breaks down to Alef (ELP) and (HY YVD HY) of value 50, representing the 50 gates of Binah (understanding) that we will reach in the time of Moshiach.

But the full 10 letters equal 1830 + 50 + 10 = 1890, to which if we were to add the cryptic 127 years of Sarah’s life (from Genesis 23:1) or the digits 127 from Daniel 12:7, we’d get 1890 + 127 = 2017 CE, the year the Mashiach (Binah) consciousness is supposed to begin (5778, actually 5777.78).

In case we were to that that a coincidence, the sum of the 2 Ehyehs is exactly 1880 x 2 = 3760 HC, which is the pivotal year “0” in the Gregorian calendar.

Now, we can understand why Ehyeh, a higher Name of G-d is called “half a Time.” And we can understand how the 42-Letter Name created by the 2 Ehyeh or twice half-time, can control our perception of reality to bring us what seems like miracles into our reality, as explained in The Genesis Prayer. And seeing as Time controls distance, now we can also understand why all Torah journeys are governed by the Mem-Bet (42-Letter name).

What does Time have to do with the Messiah?

Time is a journey and at the end of the journey is the Light, the Messiah.

The Bible makes that clear. If we add the 231, as in the 231 Gates of Wisdom described in Abraham’s Sefer Yetzirah, and which corresponds to Genesis 23:1, to the 127 from Daniel 12:7, we’d get 231 + 127 = 358, Mashiach.

Now, the Hebrew for “Time, Times, and half a Time” (LMVAD MVATYM VChZY) reveals even more. The first 3 letters have the numerical value of 76, as does the first letter of each of the 3 words. And we know from the Arizal, that 76 is the numerical value of the highest aspect of Chochma (Av) of the Tetragrammton (YVD HY VYV HY) including 4 for the YHVH). But even more significant is that the rest of the letters add up to 358, Mashiach.

And if we take off the 10 for the 10 letters in the Tetragrammaton (Av): (YVD HY VYV HY), or alternatively, for the final yud (Y) in “half (VChetzi)” we get a total of 424 for the phrase, which is the value of Mashiach Ben David.

And the final letters in the verse (DMY), which we know from chazal project the future, add up to 54, which connects to both the letters of the month (nun and dalet) of Scorpio, according to Abraham’s Sefer Yetzirah, from which we’ve been told by the Zohar that Mashiach Ben David will come, and to the year 5778 HC because 107 is the sum of all the positive integers through 5778 and 5778/107 = 54.

So what good is knowing all this?

Before we traveled in spiritual darkness. Now we know what can illuminate our journey and speed our way through time and toward Mashiach.

And if you still have doubts about time, know this: the Hebrew word for time used in Daniel 12:7 is Mo’ed (MVAD), whose value is 120 and whose ordinal value is 39 and thus time’s complete value is 120 + 39 = 159, the small gematria value of the Upper 42-Letter Name of G-d.

Take your time and digest this, but don’t take forever; there are only 9 years until 5778.

King David and the Messiah

All the new wires are reporting a new archaeological find that will help verify the dates and importance of King David‘s reign. Talmudic scholars already have the dates and know the importance. The Divine Calendar helps explain exactly why Kind David and Solomon were born and died precisely when they did, along with most of the other  prominent  Biblical personages and events.

This excerpt from The Divine Calendar illustrates that point perfectly. There is no doubt to when King David lived or why:

Chapter 21

King David and the Messiah

It’s a Very Divine Plan

King David‘s Birth Marks Israel’s Statehood

T

he year when Israel was declared a State, 5708 HC, is exactly twice, the year that King David was born, or 2 x 2854 HC, and of course, King David is the David referred to in the title, Mashiach Ben David. Pause. With so many dates being hurled at you at the speed of the cosmos, it’s easy to miss very significant events and to pass them off casually. What we’re saying here is that the birth of King David marked the absolute midpoint from Adam (Creation) to the founding of the State of Israel, which only happened as a result of WW II, the Holocaust, guerrilla warfare, a few peoples’ dynamic persona, and a reluctant vote in spite of vehement Arab opposition by a fledgling United Nations. The Nation whose Flag carries the Magen David, the shield of David, officially became a state after thousands of years, on a date precisely double King David‘s birth year.

King David‘s Birth Marks Israel’s Statehood and Abraham’s Birth

Now, since these two dates aren’t linked in any way except divinely, how astonishing is it that 2854 HC is equivalent to 906 BCE and that 2854906 = 1948, the year Israel became a State in the Gregorian calendar. Let’s pause again. Adding those two dates gives us 3760; that happens automatically. There’s no magic there. Once 3760 HC was chose as year “0” or “1” the math will work like that for all the juxtaposed BCE dates. But subtracting them as we’ve just done; there’s no reason whatsoever that they should equate to anything other than pure chance. Now if we’d listed 200 different significant dates on our divine calendar then there would be a 1 in 20 chance of hitting one of them, but we didn’t. We only listed around 10 significant dates in total. And since the date 1948 was not only the year that Abraham was born in the Hebrew Calendar, but the matching Gregorian date to the one we’d just revealed in the equation just before it, the date Israel became a nation, the odds of this happening naturally are staggering. And the chance of any group of men organizing history to fall out this way is nil. There is only way this could happen.

And if all this isn’t sufficiently extraordinary, we must also consider that the year -906 BCE is exactly half of –1812 BCE, which once again is the year Abraham was born, but this time in the Gregorian calendar.

King David was born in 2854 HC

2 x 2854 HC = 5708 HC

Israel Received Statehood in 5708 HC

5708 HC = 1948 CE

2854 HC = 906 BCE

2854906 = 1948

2 x 906 BCE = 1812 BCE

1812 BCE = 1948 BCE

Abraham was born in 1948 BCE

King David‘s Birth and the 42 Letter Name

So it’s probably not a coincidence that 906 is the value of the seventh and final 6 letter sequence “שקו־צית” of the 42-letter Name of G-d, the line which according to the sages is specifically associated with [1]David.

Since, according to the sages of blessed memory, the 42-Letter Name (the Ana B’koach, also knows as the Genesis Prayer) is a ladder to the spiritual world and its 7 lines connecting to and representing the 7 lower sefirot (dimensions), when we factor in their 10 sub-dimensions per line, we see that the 42-Letter Name actually traverses 70 dimensions of time and space and spirit.

So taking all this into account, one may surely conclude that David‘s lifespan of 70 years and Abraham’s age at the time of his Covenant with G-d, also 70 years, are both part of a divine plan in which 70 is added to either 5708 HC and/or 1948 CE to get the year 5778 HC or 2018 CE, respectively, the year that their mutual descendant is predicted to become the Messiah.

King David‘s Life and Death Marked the Arrival of the Messiah

Another very potent way of looking at this is that when we add the year King David was born, 2854, with the year he died, 2924, we get 2854 + 2924 = 5778, the date prophesied by chazal for the Messiah. meaning that the coming of the Messiah, Mashiach Ben David, is completely marked by the life of King David from start to finish, and moreover that it also marks the midpoint from Adam to the Messiah.

King David was born in 2854

King David died in 2924

2854 + 2924 = 5778

King David‘s Life and Death Marked the G-d’s Covenant with Abraham

And if all that isn’t astonishing enough, the year King David was born, 906 BCE, when added to 836 BCE, the year he died, gives us 906 + 836 = 1742 BCE, which is the year the first exile began, the year of the Covenant of Abraham, 2018 HC.

King David was born in 906 BCE

King David died in 836 BCE

906 + 836 = 1742 BCE

1742 BCE = 2018 HC

King David‘s Life and Death Marked the Destruction of the Second Temple

Furthermore, if we take 906 BCE, the year King David was born in the Gregorian calendar, plus 2924, the year he died in the Hebrew calendar, we get 906 + 2924 = 3830, once and yet again the year the Second Temple was destroyed. And this destruction marked the beginning of the final exile, which is supposed to last 1948 years, the same amount of time the world had to wait for Abraham to come into it.

King David was born in 906 BCE

King David died in 2924 HC

906 + 2924 = 3830 HC

The Second Temple was Destroyed in 3830 HC

[1] David represent the 7th sefirah of Malchut.

article excerpted from the NY Times, Oct 30, 2008

“KHIRBET QEIYAFA, Israel — Overlooking the verdant Valley of Elah, where the Bible says David toppled Goliath, archaeologists are unearthing a 3,000-year-old fortified city that could reshape views of the period when David ruled over the Israelites.

The 10th century B.C. is the most controversial period in biblical archaeology because it is then, according to the Old Testament, that David united the kingdoms of Judah and Israel, setting the stage for his son Solomon to build his great temple and rule over a vast area from the Nile to the Euphrates Rivers.

For many Jews and Christians, even those who do not take Scripture literally, the Bible is a vital historical source. And for the state of Israel, which considers itself to be a reclamation of the state begun by David, evidence of the biblical account has huge symbolic value. The Foreign Ministry’s Web site, for example, presents the kingdom of David and Solomon along with a map of it as a matter of fact.

But the archaeological record of that kingdom is exceedingly sparse — in fact almost nonexistent — and a number of scholars today argue that the kingdom was largely a myth created some centuries later. A great power, they note, would have left traces of cities and activity, and been mentioned by those around it. Yet in this area nothing like that has turned up — at least until now.

Mr. Garfinkel says he has something here that generations have been seeking. He has made two informal presentations in the past month to fellow archaeologists. On Thursday he will give his first formal lecture at a conference in Jerusalem.

What he has found so far has impressed many. Two burned olive pits found at the site have been tested for carbon-14 at Oxford University and were found to date from between 1050 and 970 B.C., exactly when most chronologies place David as king.”
