40 Days and 40 Nights; They are longer than We Thought.

As a brief interlude in our series on the secrets of the 10 Commandments and also of the Shema Yisrael, we wanted to point a hidden secret in the phrase 40 days and 40 nights that appeared at the end of this week’s portion, Mishpatim.

8 times the phrase 40 days and 40 nights, or arba’im yom v’arba’im lilah (ERBAYM YVM VERBAYM LYLH) appears in the Torah. The first 2 times it refers to the flood that wiped clean the planet and the rest of the times it refers to Moses ascent on Sinai to bring back the 2 tablets.

Let’s note first that the letter Yud(Y) is present in each word, (ERBAYM YVM VERBAYM LYLH)totaling the value 40, so obviously not a coincidence. These 4 Yuds (YYYY) correspond to the 4 Yuds for healing which is turn trace their source to the 4 Yuds that begin the 4 aspects of the Tetragrammaton (AV, SAG, MAH, BAN).

Nevertheless, what we really wanted to point out is that like the orbit of planet Jupiter, the 5th planet, whose orbit is 778.5 million Km around the Sun, whose temperature is 5778 K, the numerical value of the phrase 40 days and 40 nights, or arba’im yom v’arba’im lilah (ERBAYM YVM VERBAYM LYLH) is 778 though the final Hey, whose numerical value is 5.

Since in Hebrew dates are described by their final 3 digits (778) and since the final H (5) represents the world of Malchut, our world, as it does in the Tetragrammaton (YHVH), this designation within phrase 40 days and 40 Nights makes total sense.

Now, the 20 (esrim) letters in the phrase connect it to keter, the highest sefira (dimension) and the complete gematria value (ordinal plus standard) plus the kolel for the letters also connects it to keter, because it works out to 1000, but there is still something about these 4 words that troubles me.

They are mentioned 8 times and refer to events that happened in 1658 and 2448 respectively, 790 years apart. When we add up the gematria sofit of the letters without that same final H, we get 2458, which is 10 more than the year 2448, but it does makes the difference a more perfect 800.

We are used to things in the Torah working our perfectly and when the don’t there is usually a reason for it.  I mean 8 times the 80 (40 plus 40) days/nights are mentioned over 800 years would have been perfect, especially since Noach has the numerical value 58 and there are exactly 58 words, verses and letters in the Torah (the 5 Books of Moses).

Of course, Noach and the flood was the 10th generation from Adam, and the 10 Commandments were received in 2448, and they were both really about the 10 sefirot of the Tree-of-life, so since 5778 is the year 2018 and 2018 is 10 years after 2008 and 5778 is 3330 years after 2448 and 3330/1658 = 2.008, maybe all 3 dates and the phrase 40 days and 40 nights hint to the rectification of the 10 sefirot of the Tree-of-life in the final 10 years to 2018 (5-778).

We’ll return to part III in our series on the 10 Commandments shorty as they are truly the highpoint in the Torah and for us, contain the most important revelation to date.

The Coming Storm!

We’ll get to one of the deepest secrets of all time, beyond the Holy Grail, beyond the knowledge of even 33rd degree masons, or anything Dan Brown can come up with, in a couple days, but first I caught Jon Stewart poking fun at Obama winning the Nobel Peace prize the other day. He mentioned that the first thing Obama did after winning the so-called prize was order NASA to bomb the moon.

It’s funny and true.

There is near universal disbelief that President Obama was given this formally prestigious prize and some have even pointed to this as somehow a sign of the end of days, but what is more interesting is the not-so-coincidental bombing of the moon.

NASA bombed the moon in order to release frozen water–a science experiment. But this attack on the moon just happened to occur on Hoshanna Rabba, the night we were to have seen our shadows by the rays of that moon.

Hoshanna Rabba takes place on the 7th day of Sukkot, the festival that links the shechinah with Hashem through the Sukkah, the shakings, and the 70 sacrifices. It is also a festival of water, when we release the water to spread joy (mercy) in the world.

I can’t imagine there was some dire plot, but the two events were obviously spiritually connected. And the festival of water is timed to occur a couple weeks before the anniversary of the Flood, so is this too connected.

What does this mean? What’s the symbolism? Who knows? I’d like to hear your thoughts.

More important are the warnings being received that there is a vast ominous storm approaching and that it’s global. Will these be literal and manifested as vast dark hurricanes, or financial, or caused by a new killer computer virus?

It’s almost irrelevant because they are all being caused by our consciousness–our negative consciousness to be more accurate.

A prominent Moshiach blog just signed off and I’m afraid that even within the impending gloom there is a distinct lack of faith taking hold. The warnings have been given, but they appear to have been overlooked by the vast majority, or at least forgotten all too quickly.

We’ve been given tools, spiritual tools, and a responsibility to use them by opening our hearts to one another in order to reunite the Shechinah (our world) with Hashem (YHVH), the upper spiritual world. With the Tree-of-Life consciousness practically at our fingertips, the veils of illusions will only get thicker, and the wake-up calls only louder.

Don’t get fooled. Remember our brethren 3330 (66.6 jubilee) years ago, who couldn’t see past the gloom and failed to wait the last 6 hours for Moses’ return. Let’s not make that same mistake.

Stay tuned to the promised secret.

The Final Moments before the Final 10-Year Period Began.

Erev Rosh Hashanna, 5769, the final minutes of 5768, 10 years to the hour from when the Kabbalists had prophesied that Moshiach would come. I was about to to a mikveh and checked my blackberry for the final time before storing it away. The stock market had just closed and I had an email alert from the NY Times. “The Dow Jones industrials plunged a record 777.68 points, or 6.98 percent, to 10,365.45 after lawmakers failed to approve a $700 billion financial bailout package.”

As the sun set on the last chances for Tshuvah (repentance) before the final decade began, the market lost $1.2 trillion in its final hour. The Dow sank 7%, a total of 777.7 points, or an even 778, and with the revelations about the coming of the Messiah in the year 5778 ever present, whose else hand could there have been in this other than Hashem.

And as has been recently been pointed out to me, 778 is the gematria of בביאת המשיח , (in the coming of the Messiah), and also of “פקד פקדתי , (I have indeed remembered you).” which Joseph used to ask the generation to come to elevate his bones to the Land of Israel in pasha Vayechi.

We’ve written about the connection of Pakad (פקד) to the final redemption before, but we should add that פקד פקדתי are “the secret passwords of redemption which Moses used to prove that he was the real redeemer speaking in G-d’s name.”

The next morning the markets were still, as the shofars blast around the world, this time, after 66.6 jubilee years they heralded the onset of the final redemption.
And that same day, “gold rose $23.20 to $911.70 on the Nymex.” Gold, of gematria, 14, the same as David, rose 232, as in the value of the 4 aspects of the Tetragrammaton, YHVH (Av, Sag, Mah, Ban) to 911 (reshit, beginning) and 70, as in the 70 Nations, and the 70 years of David’s life, and as in the age that Israel will be in 5778.
God’s Hand, also of numerical value 14, was in this, as it is in everything, only this time the world took notice.  It was the largest drop in history, but the 17th largest in percentage terms, 17 is the gematria of tov, good.  And yes, it was good, spiritually; it started to wake people up. It is forcing Tshuva on many of us.
As the ball dropped in Time Square New Years Eve, closing out 2008, 42 tons of garbage were also dropped, a not coincidental allusion to the 42% of the assets in the worldwide markets that year, and to the 42-Letter Name (Ana B’Koach, Shem Mem-Bet) that we know from chazal will help bring about the geula. That 42% translated to $29 trillion dollars–that’s a lot of garbage–that’s a lot of tshuva.
G-d speaks softly, but carries a big stick.  Every day, companies, individuals, scoundrels, and governments are finding new ways to make vast amounts of assets disappear. Earlier this year an investor in Germany had a $9.2 billion empire, last week he committed suicide when much of it collapsed. Bernie Madoff (Mem-bet for those that understand) made $50 billion of people’s money disappear, especially many in the orthodox community and charities.  The US goverment finally made that $700 billion disappear and then some, and now Obama (Mem-bet for those that understand) has declared that besides the $1 Trillion he’s promised to help vanish, we should expect multi-trillion deficits for the next few years. Poof! All gone.
The last time Hashem went “poof, all gone” was with Noach and the Flood, Mabul (Mem-bet for those that understand).  There are easier ways to do tshuva.  It’s time we all look inside ourselves, and ask ourselves what we’re doing to prepare the way for H’MashiachHashem will do His part, of that we can be certain.  We need to do ours.
In London, some group of atheists started 2009 off by taking out ads on 800 Omnibuses declaring “There is no G-d.”  And Bilaam made 42 sacrifices to counteract Moses’ use of the 42-Letter Name (Shem Mem-Bet). It didn’t work; every curse he said became a blessing.  Let’s make the perceived curses all around us into blessings.  The final 10 years have begun, and the shofars have sounded.   Who will answer the call?

The Secret of Water: Water is life, Water is King, G-d is in the Water

It had rained for 2 days straight and with the flood water rising in my backyard, I was reading the Zohar on parsha Noach last night, and not surprisingly there are many insights there into the nature of water.

What is in the water we drink? How long can we go without a glass of water. When we fast on Yom Kippur and Tish B’av what are we depriving ourselves of, restricting from. Is it just from our physical desires?

Genesis (Bereshit) 7:4 “And it rained upon the earth for 40 days and 40 nights…”

From Exodus (Shemot) 24:18 ” And Moshe entered into the midst of the cloud…Moshe came to the cloud where Elohim was…Moshe was on the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights.”

What was so important about there being 40 days and 40 nights? If the Torah had told us only about 40 days or 40 nights we would have inferred the other without a second thought.

Why was there a front side 40 and a backside 40?

Both the rains the clouds are comprised wholly of water, the essence of life. Moreover, they are both water from above, from on high if you will.

Mayim, water is spelled MYM which each mem (M) having a value of 40, a front side 40 and a backside 40.

In between the two mems (MM) is the letter yud (Y), which mimics the actual physical construction of the water molecule, H2O, two hydrogen atoms and one Oxygen one in the center. If we assume a divine plan to life, then we can assume that the HOH is spiritually connected and represented by HVH, the Hebrew equivalent. And then if we add that to mayim, MYM, we get MEM (MM) and YHVH, the Tetragrammaton.

Now it just so happens the the letter Mem (MM) in gematria sofit (final letter) is 640 and YHVH is always 26, so (MM and YHVH) can very well equal 640 + 26 = 666. And thus 666 can be the symbol of life giving waters of Hashem (God).

Moreover, the spelled-out letter Mem (MM) has the ordinal value of 26, again that of the YHVH, the ineffable Name of G-d.

The actual molecular structure would be M(YHVH)M, and it would help explain why there is no physical life without water.

Why is the very first thing we learn after hearing that “G-d created Heaven and Earth” in Genesis 1:1 that in Genesis 1:2 “He hovered above the waters?” We can write endlessly as to what this means, but the 21st word in the Torah is “the waters, ” mentioned even before “the Light,” stressing its importance.

This would also explain the extraordinary similarities between water (MYM) and KIng (MLC), both of which have the numerical value of 90, and the ordinal value of 36, which together are each 90 + 36 =126, which is also 126 = 3 x 42, as in the 42-Letter Name of G-d (Shem Mem-bet). another secret of 126 is that it is also 100 + 26, or the value of keter, the highest spiritual level and 26, the YHVH.

Moreover, the gematria atbash (reverse alphabet cipher) of water, MYM is YMY, is of numerical value 60, while the gematria atbash of Melech, king (MLC) is (YCL) or 60 as well. And the small (gematria katan) value of each is also the same, 4+1+4 = 9 = 4+3+2. And similarly in E’bG’d gematria, where each letter is switched for the next highest ordinal value letter, the values of the two 3-letter words become 50+20+50 = 120 = 50+40+30.

And while there are other similarities we’ll just note that the gematria of both words is also 400+100+400 = 900 = 400 + 300 + 200, with 900 being the value of the final final letter in the Alef-bet (alphabet), Zaddi, who also has the value of 90, which as you recall was the original simple value of both water and king.

There are no other word pairs with such similar spiritual structures, and of course, Hashem is known as the King, the King of Kings. In kabbalistic spirituality, the more alike something is in form the shorter the distance between them and the stronger the ties/bonds between them. Between King and Water there’s very little distance, one hovering above the other.

But back to water itself, If we spell out the letters in mayim, we get MM, YVD, MM whose simple value is 80 + 20 + 80 = 180, which is 10 x 18, and 18 is the value of the the Hebrew word, chai, life, and thus symbolizes life throughout the 10 dimensions (serifot). Life from water! And it’s no coincidence that the square root of 18 is 4.242640, or Maschiah Ben David (424), YHVH (26) and 40.

And while the mem-yud spelled out has the value (100), that of Keter, the crown, the highest sefira/dimension, the final mem (MM) can be thought of as the 40 days and 40 nights.

So knowing that G-d (YHVH) is in the water and that water is connected to the highest spiritual level and purity, what do you think happens when we contaminate and pollute our water? What spiritual message do you think that is sending to the universe? Wouldn’t that be figuratively like throwing (G-d forbid, Has v’shalom) garbage at G-d. So what does that say about us and our readiness to receive the Mashiach, the Messiah.

When we restrict from drinking water in our fasts, we are reminding ourselves how important it is to have G-d, Hashem, in our lives, how our sustenance and survival is dependent upon it. But of course, we must understand why we are restricting before we can reap the benefits. There have been may scientific tests that show water is indeed sensitive at the structural level to different energy (vibes). So rather than restricting a couple days of years, let’s restrict the whole year from negativity, from polluting the waters of the earth physically and spiritually. Like attracts like; like below is above. Moses attracted the Clouds-of-glory. Noach’s generation attracted the devastating flood waters. The erev rav got 40 years in the desert for their lack of faith. And our generations? We invented acid rain. We need to do better.

The word “the heavens,” H’Shama’im, the 5th word in the Torah (Bible), contains the word water (mayim). Is that a coincidence too? Mayim (water) is repeated twice within the first 2 verses of the Torah, in the 5th (H’Shama’im) and in the 21st word, the waters H’mayim. Together, 5 + 21 = 26, the value of the YHVH. Together the numerical value of the full two words is equivalent to that of H’Shechinah and to “The KING, a complicated concept that in simple terms refers to the integration of the male and female aspects of G-d and the universe in harmony, the mutual giving and receiving in purity. Numerically, it’s 395 + 95 + 26 (kolel for the ordinal; word value) =516, the number of times Moses needed to pray in order to bring H’Mashiach, the Messiah.

Now here is another deep secret, a deep Bible code if you will. In known by chazal that the waters that split the Red Sea (See of Reeds) were programmed to do so since the dawn of creation. The first mention of water in the Torah is in the word H’Shama’im in the Torah’s 1st verse. The letters for water (MYM) are the 19th, 20, and 21st letters in the Torah, and the 3 verses of the splitting of the Red Sea, the 3 sequential verses of 72 letters from which the 72 Names of G-d are derived, are Exodus (Shemot) 14:19, 20, and 21.

As it was in the beginning, G-d hovers above the waters. The waters are a powerful direct connection we have to G-d; let’s use them in a positive way, in the pure way they were meant to be used. And let’s bring about the Moshiach in our generation.

The Torah  gives us a final clue to how we can help purify the waters again, physically and spiritually, and that is found int eh number of times the word water (mayim) is found in one form or another in the Torah.  It’s found 173 times and 173 is the small gematria value of the 42-Letter name of G-d, (the Shem Mem-Bet, also known as the Ana B’koach).
