Passover is More Than You Think; Pesach is More Than You Can Imagine.

The Shabbat prior to Pesach (Passover) is called Shabbat HaGadol (the Great Shabbath). The word HaGadol occurs 26 times in the Torah, the same numerical value of the Tetragrammaon (YHVH) and 18 of those times the word HaGadol  (HGDL) is written with the cholam (vowel) instead of the Vav, giving it a numerical value of 42, the same as the 42-Letter Name of G-d. The number 18 is the well-known numerical value of Chai (life) and not coincidentally the square root of 18 is 4.2426, with 424 being the value of Moshiach Ben David. And all this is only to provide us with clues.

The real significance of this is that Shabbat HaGadol acts as a gateway to Pesach, much as the Gate of 42 is the final gate before entering the Holy of Holies in the Holy Temples, including the Future Holy Temple. This gateway to Pesach is more than a metaphor.

According to the sages  the first and last verses of the Torah link together seamlessly to form a complete cycle, or circle, which is why they are read together contiguous every year around the holiday of Sukkot. This analogy of an annual cycle is strengthen by the design which splits the 19 words into the 7 words of the first verse and the 12 of the last.  We realign our 12-month lunar cycles with our solar ones in cycles of 7 and 19, and this keeps the calendar progressing at an even pace and guides which portions of the Torah are read in which week in any given year.

One Shabbat not long ago I challenged my 8-year-old daughter to figure out which letters of the Hebrew alphabet were not included in the Torah’s first verse. She promptly figured out all 11 of them, and then added, “Why don’t we check the last verse too.” Since I consider EVERYONE to be my teacher, especially my children, we did. Lo and behold, there were 20 letters utilized and only 2 that weren’t:  Pe and Samech.

Samech and Pe spelled Saf (SP), as in end, threshold, but not a word we find in the Torah per se.  Nevertheless, there are 12 days of preparation, when we read a special portion of the Torah daily, leading to the 7 days of Pesach, which is spelled Pe, Samech, and Chet spell Pesach (PSCh).

The end of the Chet(Ch), which according to the sages gets circumcised at Pesach and become a He(H); hence chametz (ChMZ) is transformed into matzah (MZH).

So joining the Chet to the Pe and Samech, left 19 letters and begged the question: Why were these three letters isolated? Why was Pesach considered outside the realm of the annual cycle?

It is because the 7 days of Pesach are actually another dimension entirely, and once we climb the 15 steps of the seder to enter it, we are beyond the earthly realm. This is why there is another seder at the end of Pesach, to ease our descent back down.  This is also why all the cleaning for Pesach is essential. It’s a cleansing, or purification, process that prepares us to align ourselves with the energy of this higher dimension.

Pesach is a gift, the diamond set in the ring opposite the cyclical closure of the Torah’s first and last verses around Sukkot 6 months earlier.

The exodus from Egypt brought the Israelites to another dimension as well, a higher state, a place of Keter as indicated by the 620 letters in the 10 Commandments.  They too left all there chametz (personal garbage/klippot/negativity behind) and went through a final cleansing as they passed through the Sea of Reeds.

Getting rid of all the chametz in our lives is about disconnecting from the physicality; it’s a preparation for the time of Moshiach (the Messiah), which B”H will be upon us very soon. For nearly 3330 years, ever since the exodus and the reception of the Torah at Sinai, we’ve been rehearsing every Spring for the arrival of Moshiach consciousness. Except, most of us have treated it as Biblical reenactment, or even as a family gathering. It was nice, but we missed the point.

This time around, once we cross over, we should find (feel) joy in everything.  Each letter and word of the Passover Haggadah should ignite us with happiness. And every moment in this paradisaical dimension should feel, well, like Heaven. To the extent that it doesn’t reveals how much more cleansing we need to do in order to see through the darkened veils.

When we take away these 7 days of the year from the annual cycle of 365, we’re left with 358 days and 358 is the numerical value of Moshiach.  Likewise, the 210 years of exile in Egypt plus Pesach (PSCh of numerical value 148) equals 358.

So let’s all scrub and clean and cleanse the physicality out of our lives, so that we can climb easily into this higher dimension called Pesach, experience the otherworldly pleasures within, and after 7 days we can return from this vacation refreshed and rejuvenated. Or better yet, return without descending, bringing the Moshiach consciousness back with us, like a cloak of dew upon the spring grasses, helping to prepare our world for what is to come. Pesach is as much a community event as it is a personal one and it’s our responsibility to bring back and spread that consciousness for the sake of our brethren.

On Sukkot we make a space for that world within our own and connect to Keter. On Pesach (PE SMC ChYT) whose letters when spelled out with the kolel have the same numerical value as Keter, 620, we leave our world and ascend to that lofty dimension.

This year, as we circle the stellar ring, let’s grab that brilliant diamond and bring it home.

666 and the Mark of the Beast continued…

In our previous article we explained how the value 666 came to be associated with the beast long before Revelations was written and then we examined in depth the verse from Ecclesiastes where the origins lay, including all the allusions to Moshiach (the Messiah), Moshiach Ben David, and to the year 2018 (5778 HC), which is prophesied for the geula (final redemption).

Today, we want to briefly add a little more. In our previous article we showed 3 different ways that the simple 14 word verse hinted at 5778 (2018 ce). Here is one more.

Ecclesiastes 3:21
“מִי יוֹדֵעַ, רוּחַ בְּנֵי הָאָדָם–הָעֹלָה הִיא, לְמָעְלָה; וְרוּחַ, הַבְּהֵמָה–הַיֹּרֶדֶת הִיא, לְמַטָּה לָאָרֶץ”
“Who knows the spirit of man whether it goes upward, and the spirit of the beast whether it goes downward to the earth?”

As previously stated the first 3 words numerically add up to 357 including the kolel (3) for the 3 words, Adding 1, as is common practice, gives us 358, the value for Moshiach. Similarly, the last 3 words add up to 421 plus the kolel of 3 to give us 424, the numerical value of Moshiach Ben David.

When we bring those first and last 3 words together, the 6 words sum to 357 + 421 = 778, as in the year 5778, and now we can begin to understand all the superfluous prefixes of the letter “Hey(H)” of numerical value 5 that the verse contained.  Nothing is written without a reason, usually many reasons.

The symmetrical verse juxtaposes the path of Man’s spirit with that of the beast and each half contains 3 of the 6 prefixes (H). As explained by the Zohar, the letter prefix Hey (H) associated with the beast in this verse represents the final Hey(H) in the YHVH and thus the earthly realm of malchut. Meanwhile, the first 3 prefixes Hey(H) associated with Man (Adam) represent the first Hey(H) in the YHVH and thus the sefira (dimension) of Binah (Heaven/upper world).

This poetic juxtaposition is further emphasized in the first word of the verse, Mi, of numerical value 50, and thus universally associated by the sages with the 50 Gates of Binah, the 3rd of the” 3 Upper sefirot (dimensions). By contrast, the last word in the verse is L’aretz, “to the earth”, and you can’t get more malchut, more earthly, than that.

3’s and 6’s, the pattern in this verse repeats itself, just as 666 x 3 + 6.66 x 3 = 2018


Interestingly, that final word “to the earth” has the numerical value 321, and not only is this verse Ecclesiastes 3:21, but as pointed out by Volker in a recent comment, 321 x 18 = 5778.  And since the primordial mathematical constant Phi that controls natural spiraling growth in the universe, can be raised to the 18th power, as in Phi18 = 5778.000, to give us 5778 yet again, the divinity and/or divine inspiration in this verse is beginning to shine forth. That spiraling growth includes all life as well and in Hebrew it is universally known that the number 18 represents the Hebrew word chai, meaning “life.”

So G-d is trying to tell us something yet again through the verses in the Tanakh (Hebrew Old Testament).  Forget for a moment everything that you may have heard, read, or assumed about a man who knows the number of the beast.  Now, we all do.  The descending beast, the animal aspect within us will sink into the earth, while the higher (Binah) spirit of Man will ascend. When? 5778 (2018 ce). Why? Because the two natures (spirits) must separate, one weighs down the other.

What we needed and relied on, we must now bid farewell and jettison, lest it weigh us down and draw us into the earth along with it. The time of the Tree-of-life (of Binah consciousness) is almost upon us. This is the 3rd time the gates were opened for us. It’s been 66.6 jubilee (Biblical 50-year period) since the last time when we received the 10 Commandments at Sinai in 2448 HC.

And there are 6.66 years until 5778 (2018 ce). Things are heating up.

The Future Holy Temple, Part IV – Primordial Proportions: Phi and the End of Days

In our first article of this series we discussed how both the Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature scales aligned perfectly with the specific structural design of the Future Holy Temple and how the Kelvin scale and the surface temperature of the planets aligned with the dates given by the tzaddikim for the final redemption.  Next, we explored how the Temple and Torah formed and further aligned with the multi-dimensional Tree-of-life, forming hypercubes, including one with a telltale finger pointing to 314 (Pi).

Then we discussed how the courtyard and Alter design of the Future Holy Temple mimicked the skeletal bone structure our bodies, and how it all ties in with Ezekiel’s prophecy of the “dry bones” resurrection.

We’ll go back and examine the connection to the mathematical constant Pi and the Torah and the design of the Future Holy Temple and prove that the Hebrew Alef-bet, the Ana B’koach (42-letter Name of G-d) and the Torah were constructed utilizing that primordial constant to at least 6 decimal places of accuracy in a later article in this series, but today, we’ll concentrate on the equally alluring primordial constant Phi and how it relates to the Holy Temple and the final redemption.

So there are 54 bones in the hands and 54 bones in the body’s central column (22 head and 32 spine), and our brains’ internal timing mechanism is 54 beats/minute, what of it?

Let’s first note that the walls of the Holy Temple are 6 cubits wide, so when we add their width to the 312 cubit width of the outer courtyard, we get a total of 324 cubits or 54 x 6 = 324. The number 324 is also 182, or the numerical value of chai (life) squared. It’s also, not coincidentally the numerical value of Moshiach Ben David raised to the 4th power, (4.24264).


Moreover, it also means that the Outer Courtyard of the Holy Temple was designed so that its outer wall perimeter is exactly 64 cubits in total.

When discussing the temperature scales, we noted that 5778 K was the surface temperature of the sun, and that this is suspiciously the same year given by Rav Ashlag, etc for geula, final redemption, 5778 (2018 CE), and that if the surface temperature of the sun were even 1 degree cooler or warmer there may be no life on Earth as we no it at all. Now, as it just so happens, the proportion of the Holy Temple’s Outer Courtyard, 312 cubits, divided by 5778 is .054 or 5.4%, and while 54 x 107 = 5778 and the sum of all the positive integers through 107 equals 5778, the number 54 times 5777.777 exactly 312,000.

The length of 5778 inches itself is exactly 3 inches more than 210 cubits with 210 being the number of years the Israelites were in exile in Egypt, and also the height in cubits in and levels of Joseph’s Pyramid.

If we venture back to the perimeter of the walled courtyards for a moment, we can also see that the sum of the perimeter of the 32 x 32 Alter, the 112 x 112 walled Inner Courtyard and the 324 x 324 walled Outer Courtyard is precisely 6.57784 in total. Coincidental?

Of course, without the walls, the same sum of the perimeters is 1776, as in the date of the founding of the United States of America, and also as in 1 more than the sum of the 27 letters of the Hebrew alef-bet (1775).

Moreover, the exact triple point of water, the term our current physicists use, is precisely 32.018, which not only conveniently still points to 32, but it is also oh so evocative of the year 2018 combined with the number 3 as in the 3rd Temple, which is the 3rd opportunity for us to achieve the Tree-of-life reality, the previous one being exactly 66.6 jubilee years earlier, in 2448 HC at Mt Sinai.

In our previous installment we explained about the 206 bones in our bodies and the various connections to 206 in the Holy Temple, including the collective height of the 5 inner gateways leading into the Holy of Holies.  Thus we can understand the relevance of the equation 206 cubits x 3000 cubits (the width of the full Temple Mount) = 618000 = 106 x Phi, the primordial mathematical constant that controls harmonic spiraling growth in our universe, (.6180).

So given the connection between Phi and 206 in the structure of the Holy Temple and that there are 206 bones in our bodies, which incidentally conform to the Phi proportion themselves, and given what we’ve learned about the year 5778 from Rav Ashlag and others, it’s interesting that 5778/28 = 206.3571 and that 3571/5778 = Phi (.6180339) precisely to 7 or more decimal places. As is revealed in the book, “There is Nothing Random in the Universe,” there are deep connections to the number 28, Phi, and 5778 way beyond the first verse of the Torah having 28 letters, so it’s most probably not coincidental that Ezekiel’s prophecies of the geula and the dry bones occurred in 28 verses, or that time is measured in 28 segments, according to Ecclesiastes (3:2-8).

Or even considering the width of the walled Outer Courtyard is 324, and thus 182, that Phi18 = 5778.000

Therefore, it’s possible to view the 5778 year period as a process whereby we were meant to cleanse ourselves (our souls) to account for everyone of our 206 bones that are to rise up at the end of days.

And, of course, while the 42 Letter Name of G-d, the Name meant to help the journey of our souls and to help us reach the final redemption (the Tree-of-Life consciousness) according to the tzaddikim, is derived from the first verse (28 letters) of the Torah, we should note that 28/42 = .666, the Kabalistic proportion representing both Zeir Anpin and the relationship of the upper to the lower worlds (sefirot). And equally significant is the relationship of 28 x Phi (.6180339) = 17.30 since 173 is the small gematria value of those 42 Letters, referred to in the Zohar as the 173 keys to Heaven given to Moses.

The Ten Commandments, Part II – The Gates Open Through a Tiny Word.

In the first installment in this series of articles on the Ten commandments, we established that they were linked with Keter, the highest sefira (Dimension) of all 10 dimensions of the Tree-o-life, and that beginning with the encoding in its first 3 words, “I am God, your Lord” they further link our generation to the 3rd opportunity to receive the Tree-of-life reality in the next few years.

As for the 2nd time that cosmic window opened, it was 66.6 jubilee years ago, when G-d chose to recite the 10 Utterances.  The first time occurred a total of 115.6 jubilees years ago. To understand that you must be able to think of time as fluid and space as collapsible, and reality as we know it as an illusion. In other words, you must be able to perceive the tree-of-life reality that was offered to our ancestors back in 2448 HC, 49 jubilee years after Creation .

In the 20th chapter and 54th Paragraph of Exodus (Shmot/Names), 600,000 Israelites and 4 times as many erev rav (known as the the people) stood poised at Mt Sinai.

This was after the Zohar tells us Moses received the 173 Keys to Heaven (the 42-letter Name); after the rectification of the 10 sefirot of the Tree-of-life through the 10 plague, as explained by the Arizal; after the tools of the 42-Letter Name (Mem-Bet) and the 72 Names (Ayin-Bet) were given to Moses and the Israelites when they cried out to G-d; after they split of the Red (endless) Sea; and after they completed the cleansing process through the appreciation, tshuva, and tools embedded in the “Song of the Sea,” the Israelites were ready to receive the 10 Utterances directly from G-d, thus completing their ascension to Keter. That was the plan.

Keter

The 10 Utterances are found at chapter 20 in parsha Yitro of Shmot (Exodus) and the letter Yud (Y) of numerical value 10 is a direct substitute for the number 10 in the 10 Utterances (Commandments).  Moreover, the letter Yud (YVD) when spelled out has the numerical value 20, the same as the chapter the 10 Utterances are found in. This is significant because the number 20, esrim, has the numerical value of 620, that of Keter, the crowning, hightest sefira (dimension). Moreover,Yitro (YTRV), Moses’ father-in-law, not only begins with the letter Yud–actually the only one of the 54 Torah portions to begin with Yud–but it has the gematria value of 616, the same as H’Torah (the Torah). And when we add the kolel of the 4 letters we get  616 +4 = 620, or Keter once again. And that’s just the start.

Two Moments in Time Linked Together through a Single Window

That there are 9 verses spanning paragraphs 54 to 62 of Shmot (Exodus) is no coincidence. Readers of this blog know by now the formulas of the sum of positive integers through 107 = 5778; and 54 x 107 = 5778, the year the tzaddikim prophesied for the arrival of Moshiach and the geula (final redemption); and also that the surface temperature (radiance) of the Sun, representing the King and Zeir Anpin, is 5778 K, while its core temperature is 156 million K, with 156 being the gematria value of Joseph, representing Yesod of Zeir Anpin.

But what hasn’t been revealed yet is that the numerical value 54 is found 156 times in the Torah and that the Name Dan (DN)–the initials that Abraham’s Sefer Yetzirah (The Book of Formation) says would lead to Mashiach–of numerical value 54, is found 26 times, corresponding to the value of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH). And consequently that 54 + 156 = 210, as in the 210 years of Exile in Egypt that just ended prior to the 10 Utterances.

And as most students of Torah know that the Torah is divided in 54 parashot (portions), so this being paragraph 54, coupled with the value of Yitro’s name,  is most probably a hint that the whole Torah is about to be received, not just a few commandments to behave civilly.

The number 54 also has the distinction of being half of 108, the numerical value of the infamous golden calf.  The reason that this connection is so significant will be revealed shortly. And since the number 107 is integrally associated with 5778, and thus the reception of Moshiach, that 108 is 1 beyond it, is significant as well. Nevertheless, for the moment it’s important to note that the first letter on the 10 Utterances is the 107007th letter in the Torah, or looked at another way, 107 x 1000 + 7 (representing Keter (1000) and the 7 sefirot of Zeir Anpin).

And for its part, 62, as in the 62nd and final paragraph of the 10 Utterances, it is the key to understanding what is really going on in the section. For starters. there are 62 letter Yuds, of numerical value 10, within these 9 paragraphs. Now, the letter Yud (Y) is the first letter of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH) and is associated with the level of Chochma (wisdom), the 9th and 2nd highest sefira (dimension), and those 62 Yuds have a total numerical value of 620, that of keter (crown), the highest sefira, the place the Israelites had reached as G-d spoke to them.  This also means the Yuds reprsent exactly 1/10th the letters in the 10 Commandments.

But the icing on this keter cake is found in that there are 620 letters in these 9 short paragraphs.

Moreover, the sum of the ordinal values of those 620 letters works out to 11 x 620 + 1 (kolel), making the 10 Commandments also representative of the full 11 sefirot, when the balancing or reservoir of knowledge sefira (dimension), Da’at, is included.

And of the 10 Utterances, 8 really begin with the word Lo (LE), “don’t,” which is EL (G-d) backwards and these 8 words total 248, the value of Abraham, of mercy, and of the Earth’s reflected radiance back to the sun (248.5 K), but also 248 = 4 x 62. Obviously, this small 620 letter section of the Torah is quite special and unique.

Let’s talk about this word Lo (LE), meaning “don’t, because it is so ubiquitous amongst the 172 (132+3) words and 13 verses of the 10 Commandments. It’s found a total of 13 times, connecting it to the concept of Oneness (Echad) and love (Ahava), whose Hebrew translations have the value 13.

There seems to be a pattern developing as the numerical value of Lo (LE) is 31, or 13 reversed, its ordinal value is, well, 13.

Now in verse Exodus 20:6, where it says, “I show love for thousands of generations,” the words for love and thousands both contain the prefix Lamed, making both words actually begin with LE: (LEHBY, L’ahavi and LELPYM, L’alaphim).

This phrase Chesed L’alaphim is actually at the heart of the 13 attributes of G0d and both the Zohar and the Arizal translate it to G-d will show mercy for 2000 years, as we’ve previously written about.

With these 2 additional Lo (LE) and 3 others that are concealed at the beginning of various words in these 13 verses we have a total of 18, which is universally knows as the value of Chai (life).

Now, the sages tell us that the final letters point towards the future and in summing up the gematria of the final letters in 18 words that Lo (LE) appears within the 10 Commandments we get a total of 2028, which is significant because we know that 2018 CE (or 2028 – 10 (kolel for 10 Commandments) is the prophesied year 5778 HC.

And also because 2028 breaks down to 2000 + 18 + 10, reminding us of what the Arizal and the Zohar said about 2000 years amongst the 18 words of the 13 attributes. We can now more fully see the connection between the 13 pure Lo (LE) and 18 total Lo (LE) with the 18 words of the 13 attributes of G-d, in this the 20th Chapter of Exodus.

And if we add the two other words in this 620 letter section of the Torah that begin and end with L and E respectively, (LShVE, lashav) then the full 20 concealed Lo (LE) total 20 x 31 or a perfect 620.

Everything in the Torah has a purpose, both a revealed purpose and then multiple layers of concealed ones.  We can look at the 10 Commandments as moral compasses or we can look at them as gateways into the 10 dimensions of the Tree-of-life.  For 66.6 jubilee years (3330 years) most of us have seen them as moral guides, it’s time to really accept them.  28 generations ago we were invited in and the people replied that G-d was too loud for them.

And by the way, in case we missed it, the 28 generations was the The Divine Calendarhidden meaning behind the reference to 2000 generations, which is one of the reasons why Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai (author of the Zohar) and the Arizal recognized it as 2000 years, but, of course, they knew the Divine Calendar and knew when the 2000 years would begin and end.

So just to wrap us this part of the series, we should note that when we add 1 for the kolel to the 172 words in this section, we get 173 words, which not only hints at the 42-Letter Name through its small gematria value of 173, which are incidentally the 173 keys given to Moses, but taking the letters of the section over the words gives us 620/173 = 3.58, and 358, as we know, is the numerical value of Moshiach, the messiah.

This is what we can receive when we enter the 10 Commandments, instead of just follow them (very important too).

Lo (LE) is tied for being the shortest word in the Torah, but through this small doorway a vast universe awaits.  The Hebrew word for heart is very similar Lev (LB). Just because one translates into English as “don’t”, don’t let yourself be deceived by the illusion that one doesn’t stem from the other and LE is at the heart of Keter from where the love flows.

And then to complete the picture, the 13 verses in this section further links it to the 13 times that words with a numerical value of 173 appear in the Torah. Every wire in this section is very much alive and burning bright.  Let it burn bright in our hearts as well.
